My only problem with the system is that people who was 1 week away to next rank must gather months worth of Merit, couldn't be more unfair.
I don't see people giving each other merit.
I had proposal that they don't give flat default merit based on your current level but also how CLOSE you're to next one, but of course, I got bashed hard by people that just leveled...someone with account 3 days older than mine is sr. member now with 250 merit, and I'm full member with 105 (default 100 at day of merit invention) and based on current rate, I need 3 years to get next rank

This card is perfect for Cryptonight! Best profit. I have tested on dagger also, but I was disappointed, 14.9 Mh/s, Powercolor AXRX 560 4GBD5‐DHV2/OC .
Thats still half the hashrate of rx580, and way cheaper, at least here in Croatia...3-4 times cheaper

how does one "steal" something that's opensource? lol. seems contradictory.
By using it in closed source project which is usually against open source license?

Its never too late to join the party because the price still is $1, I would consider it high if XRP cost more than 10$ each. 10$ each however may seem very ambitious, it sure would take years and years before this will happen but if adoption takes place, it might just happen faster than we thought that we might not be able to buy at $5.
I agree. Ripple has shown adoption and real life application and thats its main reason for being in the top 5 Adoption wise, I Ripple has a huge upside potential because you can see it already happening at a very small scale. I am not too fond of their coin circulation set up but it really would't matter If its something that the big banks need. They probably made huge number of coins because they're supposed to get burned after been used by transactions, so once things kick into high gear, supply would be spent too fast otherwise

Now is clearly. but sometimes I'm feel confusing, newest PBE version come s with one click strap copy but many people here still trying to flashing their Polaris cards with downloaded bios from anywhere.
Probably because those straps have their own set of problems sometimes? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) If you read posts here a lot, you'll often find that people sometime get unstable cards after using one-click bios patch straps

if only for reference it's ok but if you suggest the other for using your modifying bios, is not recommended. because every bios have the different version. Of course, its always best to modify original BIOS, when I used to sell bios-es I always asked for original BIOS even if I worked on "same" card before However, if P/N from bios and one inside your card match, its pretty probable it will work OK

Just saw a TA and a statement that ETC is still bullish. I hope for a increase of >25% before the airdrop.
Would be nice but i dont see it happening tbh Don't forget that we have 3 days left, and many coins already did 200/300% in just some hours.. I'm not saying that this will happen with ETC but 3 days are more than enough for have another all time high. Let's wait and see what will happen on 4th March That was happening at bullish times, though, its very rare recently

I have made some good and quality post but sill not receive any merit. Please keep distributing to help people like me can increase my rank.
If you are consistent in your posts and you bring quality to the forum you will eventually receive merits is not going to be easy but that was the whole point of introducing the system, it was too easy to rank up by just posting, now users need to prove their worth by creating quality posts, this means that ranking up will take longer than it did in the past but now those which rank up will truly deserve it. Exactly, it is completely based on the quality of post we are making. Many people are in hurry to rank up with the previous system and now only people who have little patience will surely reach to higher rank but they need to remember one thing i.e Quality Posts. nerdralph over at alt mining subforum has best posts about memory timings, and doctor83 made best editor for AMD bios-es...both got virtually zero merit so far notabatman made more than 100 bios-es for free, he got 1 merit so far

advise you need to write to get the merits
You get merit from other people and it adds up and shows below your name in posts But you also get (at least I got when they introduced it) 10 free merit that you give to other people (and if I understood it right, it refills from time to time, or maybe based on merit you get, so more you get, more you can give, or something like that)

how to get merins? you need to ask those who have ranks above ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) ? give me please Merin??? Stop begging because you have to work for it. Make a constructive posts because if you are deserving, users who notice your post will definitely give you merit even you dont ask for it. The problem is if you are a single poster on bitcointalk, you will rarely or even not get merits. Alt accounts will give merits to other main accounts. Or people will make deals to give merits to their group of participants. And of course will people start offering service or trading for giving merits.
This is really happening but should not be tolerated because its against for the main purpose why theymos implement this system. who wants to part with the merins? everyone will keep them for themselves. If they hardly get, then they will not want to part with them Its meriT, stop saying meriN ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) You get some to give away, that does NOT affect your own merit

30.5 easily on elpida
Branko, could you please point me in the right direction on how to get 30 Mh/s with my Elpida memory? I'm not asking for a step-by-step. Maybe some links for me to read and learn would be much appreciated. If you didn't solve it yet, try mine from this post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3042995.0

https://www.dropbox.com/s/lizy0rsuauadtuo/GB_aorus580_1500N5.rom?dl=0This is my current BIOS, I get 30.5MH/s at 2040MHz memory clock, using Phoenixminer Unlike my RX560s, I can't properly undervolt it, for some reason HWinfo shows 0.935V which is about 0.08V higher than its supposed to be. If someone have idea how to properly undervolt it, please share I'm also curious how high other people can OC memory, so if your max OC differs from mine, please share info, too

I will go with NEO,because XRP is a pump and dump coins. It is indeed a centralized coins handled by big banks to rob your BTC’s because they know that one day, Bitcoin will be worth 1million$/coin. That is the true and its my opinion.
They can do it immediately using fiat money...why would they need XRP to "rob your BTC’s"? You should make better FUD than this, 5y olds can debunk this
