3081  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: GoldxCash.net /Bitcoinxcash.com -Exchange / Physical Crypto Coin "Dealer" - SCAM on: February 24, 2021, 05:49:34 AM
Thanks for the keen eye. I have tagged and supported flags against both accounts.
Thank you for your efforts as well.

The person behind the scam sites is a perfect example of someone with sheer stupidity by trying to do the same thing over and over again expecting different results.
I do agree with everything you just said but I'm afraid that some users are probably still falling for this scam since he/she keeps purchasing copper memberships for most of the recent accounts [I know it's not much but both of the accounts you've reported on your previous two posts and those I just reported are wearing it].
- Having said that, it could be just an indirect result from somewhere else but such websites should be blacklisted here [quite annoying].
3082  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Chequity - GPT website | Free $0.75 | High offers rates on: February 23, 2021, 02:16:38 PM
I'm impressed with its UI + great payout options...
- The only downsides so far are lack of offers [probably it's due to where I am] and it took a few minutes before my earned points [offerwall] reflected in my account.
3083  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Lastbit's Beta - A lightning network and Euro interface for Europeans on: February 23, 2021, 12:37:08 PM
how can this cards be free and without any fees
Looks like there's a certain fee when dealing with EUR but it doesn't mention the respective percentages:

Quote
Are there any hidden fees not mentioned here?

What you see here is what you pay. Nothing less, nothing more. We make a tiny amount of money when you add EUR to your cards or move between Bitcoin and Euros. There are several fees behind the scenes that lastbit pays on your behalf. This is just the nature of centralized card programs.

@shadow12348
I'm not familiar with your exchange partner [Bitlocus Ltd] but could they potentially block transactions since they'll be in possession of users' BTCitcoins?
3084  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Newbies Start Here! - Only Trusted Legit and Paying Sites on: February 23, 2021, 11:41:47 AM
Many sites closed or became a scam,
Although I agree with you, there are still a lot more [legit platforms] out there if you dig deeper [you're not offering much with the current list].
- IMO, you should probably consider creating a new section with the payment proofs from each one of those platforms [regardless of using a free website].

I share my list of sites that stay legitimate for years.
2 out of 6 listed platforms have been created for less than a year.
3085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: A Blog Dedicated To Helping New Folks Learn About Crypto on: February 23, 2021, 09:55:33 AM
I recently started a blog where its whole purpose is to write about how to utilize crypto if you are new to it.
I quickly checked your blog and it's quite neat [well done] and since you're targeting beginners and even intermediate users, you should probably consider integrating more screenshots and maybe even video tutorials to your blog [wall of text isn't everyone's cup of tea].

Occasionally, I kept getting server errors [perhaps you've reached the limit].

Found two more accounts:

3087  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 23, 2021, 07:20:13 AM
Arsenal legend Thierry Henry is close to becoming the new manager of Bournemouth after the Championship side requested permission to open talks from his current club Montreal Impact. The football legend is back?
Interesting move if it happens.

I've seen multiple sources have reported that PSG is showing interest in signing Bellerin again [sources: #1, #2, and #3]...
- I hope he goes to PSG so Arteta could finally use Cedric in that position regularly [over his current underperforming favorite player - Bellerin].
3088  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: 3 Questions directed towards Cash Traders (2 min of your time for a P2P Project) on: February 22, 2021, 01:38:39 PM
1. How do you decide if a cash trader is trustworthy ?
There isn't a way to completely trust a total stranger when it comes to such trades but usually, the way they respond to certain questions indicates what kind of buyer/seller they are.

2. For you, what is the most secure way to do a cash in person trade ?
A crowded place with a friend or two [preferably someone that's tougher than you] and nearby shops to verify you're not dealing with counterfeit money [just pick a few at random and ask them to verify it].

3. How do you currently find cash traders to trade with ? If you use a platform, write which one and one thing you would like to be done differently on this platform?
I no longer do [I haven't done it for the past two years or so] but I used a local forum back then [I prefer to not disclose it].

3. Both traders have now access to the trade and can now discuss whatever they want using the chat system or share a Signal number, Wickr, Telegram...
It's always better to keep conversations in a single place as opposed to moving them out of the platform [scammers would love such things].

- Auto chat delete after X amount of time
Hopefully, conversations aren't deleted unless trades/deals are already finished between involved parties.

Current Concerns we haven't fixed fully:
- Fake feedback
What have you done so far to combat this issue?
3089  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Ann] The Price in Sats on: February 22, 2021, 12:10:19 PM
it only has 50 items so far and it's all from Tesco, so I do need to add a few hundred more items, look at some other sites
Not sure if Tesco offers BTCitcoin payments but if you could only add items from online groceries that offer such payment, then it'll surely improve its overall usage.
- I do know that there are various places that we could buy Tesco gift cards with BTCitcoin, but a direct approach is something else.

You might want to add "categories" when you decide to include more items and maybe even a "dark mode" as well.

Any update with the API? It's still "NaN".
- Is that issue really from CoinGecko's side?
3090  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Name of BTC exchange that was written and advertised by a member here. on: February 22, 2021, 10:13:18 AM
I'm trying to remember the name of an exchange that existed and was created here between 2012-2015.

It was written by like 16 or 17 year old user, that was pretty active on these forums. That user ended up having to shutdown the exchange due to legal issues or something.
As far as I know, this exchange wasn't hacked, but instead it shut down and refunded everyone.
I'm not completely sure but I think I found it:

Note: I couldn't find the exact post that he/she mentioned about the age but a lot of people commented on the announcement thread that I linked earlier:

3091  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best places to buy miners on: February 22, 2021, 08:13:04 AM
I was curious to know what are some good places, sites, chat rooms, or sources for equipment.
~Snipped~
for used equipment
Since you mentioned "used", then you might want to check the "Computer hardware" board of this forum.
Take note: That board is no exception when it comes to scammers, so always buy/sell with the help of an escrow provider.
3092  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [List] Bitcoin Savings Accounts Providing Interest on: February 22, 2021, 07:12:28 AM
If there is an error, or would like me to add more information, kindly let me know. Thank you!
Personally, I'm not a big fan of such platforms [due to obvious reasons] but you should include the "domain extensions" for those you've missed [7 out of 11] in the list...
- A lot of newbies out there, tend to just click the first few google results when there's no domain extension [most of the time, they'll be visiting a similar-looking fake platform instead].
3093  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: February 22, 2021, 06:11:42 AM
Man City played humbly against Arsenal...
It probably had something to do with their upcoming UCL game.

With the quality of Arsenal players that are different from Manchester City,
it is very difficult for Arsenal to beat City.
That's right but if Arteta picked our best starting 11, we could've done something last night [they weren't that aggressive].

i wonder how arsenal resist a whole 88 (the first goal was really fast)
By keep passing at the back and not giving too many spaces away [we got lucky a couple of times].

Manchester united win againts newcastle was great but useless for the race to the trophy
How could a win be "useless"?

Interesting games at the bottom half of the table for tonight [Brighton vs Palace] and tomorrow [Leeds vs Southampton]...
- I'm expecting both home teams to win these games but both are going to be tight games.
3094  Other / Meta / Re: I am genuinely interested, need some advices. on: February 21, 2021, 06:29:47 PM
So I ask frodocooper to guide me with my questions?
Yes.

To do that how do I find him.
I already linked his/her profile in my previous post [just click it].

3095  Other / Meta / Re: I am genuinely interested, need some advices. on: February 20, 2021, 06:38:15 AM
I do not know the policy of deleting a post.
BITCOIN MINING INTRO & RULES OF THIS SUBFORUM - READ BEFORE POSTING

I am genuinely interest to setup a mining rig and I need information. How do I continue the following post and continue the conversation?
Mining support - This is for all questions regarding understanding the process of BITCOIN mining, and any issues with setting up hardware, configuration issues, stability issues, etc. Where hardware has a dedicated support thread by the manufacturer or maintainer of the hardware, there will be a post in the hardware subforum so please use that first. CPU, GPU and FPGA mining support will be moved to the altcoin mining section.
From the above-highlighted part, I think the appropriate board should be "Mining support [notify "danieleither" through PM, after you've created your own thread]" but before doing these steps, follow what hilariousandco suggested ["PM the mod of that sub"]...
Take note: You should probably PM "frodocooper [he/she is the one that usually is responsible for heavy moderations]" instead of gmaxwell.
3096  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [International Donate] Building rice farms in the Philippines Funding goal 0.2B on: February 19, 2021, 09:15:46 AM
If anyone wants to donate here, it would be really great to help building rice farms while using BTC to make it possible.
Here's a donation [TX link] to kickstart this campaign but credit goes to "monkgg [I've used what monkgg sent me as a tip for being the first reviewer for his/her platform]"...

- I did ask for "monkgg's permission" prior to passing it on to this campaign.
- Since there's no rush, I intentionally used a small fee so more would go towards this campaign but I did accelerate it using both ViaBTC and AntPool.
3097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: February 19, 2021, 08:02:36 AM
Arsenal on the other hand seem to be having the worst day but, i won't se it very much as the worst as they are playing from an away side and at the moment, its Benfica 1-1 Arsenal with the game already looking like a draw but still, Arsenal remains the dominating force in the game.
If it wasn't for Auba's misses [Laca would've easily scored those] and Arteta's tactics to play from the back [credits to Benfica for not pushing "that deep" in the second half], it could've been a different scoreline.

Antwerp - Rangers another crazy game, wqhich ended with difficult Rangers win 4:3. Rangers of Steve Gerrard is serious team this season, it's interesting to follow them.
I only watched the highlight for this one and indeed it was a crazy one [a lot of mistakes by the referee and I'm not ruling out Antwerp yet].

As an Arsenal fan, I hate seeing both Man U/Spurs's current forms in UEL [I doubt will be able to normally qualify even for next year's conference league [UECL], let alone UEL].
3098  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: monk.gg | PvP Crypto (Testnet) Gambling - Looking for feedback on: February 18, 2021, 06:58:58 PM
Thank you so much for your feedback, it helps a lot and I'm glad that you liked the platform! For being the first person to review us on Bitcointalk, I sent a small tip to the BTC address [1Gm...] on your profile.
You're very welcome and thank you so much as well [you didn't have to do that but I really appreciate it Smiley]. It's definitely more than a small tip and if it's fine with you, I would like to pass it on by donating it to "this" thread.

Hope to see you on the website in the future!
Likewise, I would gladly use your website on a regular basis [even if it's still in beta]
- I'm excited to see what you'd come up with in future updates.

/Bookmarked.

Update:
Yes, I encourage the donation toward the rice farms! Thanks again for the kind words
Just did, thank you as well for the kind gesture Smiley
3099  Other / New forum software / Re: Do we want Epochtalk? on: February 18, 2021, 04:40:59 PM
I feel like we can just stick with what we have here for the next 10 years.

So honestly, do we really want Epochtalk?
Personally, I wouldn't mind sticking with the current software but if it's going to be an improvement [e.g. Support for mobile devices, better security and etc...] over what we already have, then why not?
3100  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: monk.gg | PvP Crypto (Testnet) Gambling - Looking for feedback on: February 18, 2021, 02:55:20 PM
- Anonymity features
I did like seeing those features but it would've been better if players had an option to play as a guest as well [without registering accounts] and perhaps somehow save their progress in browser-side and only pair them with players of a similar kind [apart from bots].

The only issue that I've noticed so far is the fact that the settings for toggling animations aren't saved [after a refresh, it goes back to default].

I'm not an expert in this field but I really enjoyed spending time on your platform [looking forward to other upcoming games].
