3141  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [PRE-ORDER] Denarium Physical Bitcoin on: April 13, 2015, 02:11:44 PM
I've been very busy but here is a quick announcement!

We've had over 50 orders so far, over 500 coins ordered. The first order number for a series L order was #328. The first order number for a series E order was #336.

Some countries have reportedly had abnormally expensive postage fees, we're working hard to fix all of that. Most recent fix was UK, where you can now order up to 20 coins with a cheap postage method.

342 here, ordered two coins... So my L is number 14 and my E is 6?

No idea how much I paid for shipping, I just pressed next until I was able to pay Tongue

Just like me! I'm only seeing final costs now, lol.
3142  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [PRE-ORDER] Denarium Physical Bitcoin on: April 13, 2015, 01:38:20 PM
Got order 342... Website was a bit unresponsive at first and coins weren't avaliable at the end of the countdown, had to wait a minute or so. Got this huge number... Were there already 300+ orders in after 3 minutes? Shocked
3143  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: April 12, 2015, 04:15:00 PM
marcotheminer, there are already avatar campaigns out there, will we have avatars by the end of the month? If not, is it possible to have the Bit-x signature and enroll in an avatar campaign for another site?
3144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Something big for Bitcoin coming April 15th on: April 12, 2015, 03:21:01 PM
If the special thing about the 15th is tax return time, I'm not sure if it would make even a small dent on Bitcoin... Will the volume coming in be enough to change anything?

Anyways, hope it's something else...
3145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Parity Party!!! on: April 12, 2015, 03:13:17 PM
When one Bitcoin reaches $1 we need to celebrate...

Bitcoin network can not live if 1btc=$1
Because there will be too many asics switched off and ready for doublespending attacks

The post you quoted is very old, but... harder to go down I guess, there's many around who wouldn't let that happen Wink
3146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Parity Party!!! on: April 12, 2015, 02:37:27 PM
What an incredible thread digging job Grin

Makes us dream a bit and question which parity will we have next. Back in 2011 these guys were in it for a ride and they barely knew... I hope they're still Bitcoin wealthy, though Smiley
3147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Redomination mBTC, XBT, do nothing on: April 12, 2015, 02:29:02 PM
I voted BTC. I think both of the other two options are a bit difficult for newcomers and people knowing Bitcoin for the first time. It sure was more difficult to me fitting in mBTC and XBT than in BTC Cheesy

But if we do have to change and adopt something that can be ISO compliant... Well, XBT would be the best option.
3148  Other / New forum software / Re: Forum App for mobile? on: April 11, 2015, 11:25:17 PM
For those trying, tapatalk (unfortunately) cannot be used to browse the forum, I already tried several times... I hope it will be a feature on the new forums!
3149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who's To Blame In Bitcoin Foundation's Unrest on: April 11, 2015, 11:17:38 PM
I think they're pretty much all to blame (except the most recent members, maybe).

They all knew what was going on and chose to ignore it. maybe even chose to follow a direction that would bury them further.

Anyways, we probably don't need them, and who's to blame isn't a big priority now. They should just dissolve the foundation and end all this crap talk Cheesy
3150  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [PRE-ORDER] Denarium Physical Bitcoin on: April 11, 2015, 04:42:23 PM
Browsing your website, isn't there an option to signup now? Signups will only open on the launch date?

Indeed there is no signup option yet. There should be, I think. I will talk to our guys immediately to see if we could open signups already.

Nice, thank you! It would be pleasant if we had our accounts with details filled at launch, that way it would just be needed to select the coin and pay Smiley

What metal are they made out of?

The "How does it work?" section only talks about brass...
3152  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [PRE-ORDER] Denarium Physical Bitcoin on: April 11, 2015, 01:12:24 PM
This looks very interesting. I like the design of the coin. I'll definitely think in pre-ordering one... Smiley

In the dashboard, when all tabs on the sidebar are open, the bottom ones get hidden, and the sidebar doesn't scroll... Also, logging in the second time (on the same computer) and it didn't ask me a password, is this normal? Is there a timer to ask for password now?

EDIT: I'm referring to this: https://i.imgur.com/DOgKs9w.png It doesn't scroll to the bottom Smiley My resolution is 1440X900 and I'm using the latest version of Chrome for Windows.

Yes, that's a bug, I will solve it later.

All right, thank you Smiley
3154  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Pics of Large Miner Hosting Center Under Construction on: April 10, 2015, 09:58:48 PM
Only noticed the most recent pics now... What an amazing facility they've got going on there! Smiley

3156  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-04-09] CS - Paying the Bitcoin Ransom Was the Last Resort on: April 10, 2015, 09:25:11 PM
The usual stuff, and something I've been saying everytime news like these appear here: These kinds of institutions take shortcuts in building their systems... This + people without the proper knowledge + not wanting to hire a technician is a recipe for hacks and other disaster.
3157  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-04-10] Why Billionaire Investor Reid Hoffman Is Betting Big on Bitcoin on: April 10, 2015, 09:22:16 PM
The more these billionaires "invest", the more the price crashes. WTF.

Most of these guys invest for quick profit. I highly doubt some of them are staying, so they are selling as much as they are buying. They're still toying with Bitcoin, as these are waters unknown for them and I bet they aren't willing to take many risks.

Maybe I'm wrong and most of these guys believe in Bitcoin (sure hope I'm wrong). Only time will tell!

This is huge! Thanks for the update! Updating as I write this...
3159  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-04-08] Coinspeaker is Launching Bitcoin Jobs Section on: April 09, 2015, 09:28:54 PM
This is pretty much well needed, as there aren't many websites like this and those who exist don't have many offers, and almost noone of them have regular, more simple offers for people without experience or who really don't have a qualification in the finance industry, or as a Bitcoin expert, or a qualification at all...

This new website is still pretty much the same as everywhere else. But I hope that changes soon Smiley
3160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We just hit a new record of average monthly transactions per day on: April 09, 2015, 07:17:57 PM
This is amazing news! Just shows how much people want to use Bitcoin and are indeed using it more and more... The number will increase in the next few years, for sure Smiley

I can't wait to see how some h8er will explain why this means bitcoin is dead.  Grin

Easy, he will obviously turn that chart upside down and rant about it Wink
