Thanks, I'll check it out, although I'm a bit weary of Web Wallets.

Pretty disappointed that they didn't have a wallet ready on release, especially for a project of this magnitude. Currently is developer phase. They will be wallet next year in the next phase. Yes, I understand that. Still disappointed they didn't have a simple wallet ready on release.

Perhaps I'll make a new signautre all about how NXT is a scam...would you like that? Please don't Anyway, I want to personally thank you for saving me from Nxt. It's heroes like you that help us newbies from losing all of our money.

All year long, the market has been saying NXT is a total scam.
Look at the chart. That's what a dying coin looks like.
After all the hype and glittering promises NXT is still useless for anything except creating and dumping scam assets like j777hodl.
And yet you take the time to post about a dying coin. What does that say about you?

Haha, that's a nice graph.

@CfB any feedback on POI?
Not yet. Damn, good to see you CFB, missed your input (trolling).

But I also think you are wrong about them being worthless overall.
I certainly don't think Siacoins are worthless. Siacoins have worth if you want to store something. But no one is really storing anything at this point, so it's difficult to know the true value of Siacoin. It's just speculation.

Why is the price being hit so hard People are running away from Sia like it's a toxic investment, I just don't get it. Because Siacoins are not an investment. To me the supply model doesn't make any sense if you are concerned about the price per Siacoin. If hosts set the price of storage, and Sia is divisible, why design a coin that increases so exponentially? You could have 21 Mil Siacoins and storage would cost just fractions of a Siacoin. People have no incentive to hold Siacoins right now. Why would I pay for Siacoins right now when the supply will increase 4x in the next year. If anything, people are overpaying for Siacoins right now. Siafunds are the investment, because you are collecting Siacoins by doing nothing. Or am I wrong here?

This could possibly be the first crypto to have a physical coin before a GUI wallet.

Really need a full tutorial on the website of how to use Sia, how to setup storage hosting, how to mine, etc...
I will confirm that it's my #1 priority once 0.4.0 is out. I was going to put siafunds at #1, but our recent boost in popularity puts siafunds at #2 for the time being. Good to know. Thanks.

What's the real purpose immediately?
You can store any file on a decentralized storage network for next to nothing.

Do we have a Siafund capable wallet yet?

Maybe the OP or the website should add some info and DIY guide for new miners that come here..
Hmmm......I am starting to realize this is no ordinary cryptocoin. Where is the market for Siafunds? Or is there one? As far as I'm aware (I'm lead dev btw, nice to meet you!), no siafunds have been bought or sold since they were distributed There is a strong lack of beginner's tutorials right now, mainly because we're still in the rapid development + prototyping phase. But with this next release I think we'll be graduating out of that into the growth+features phase. That will include a heavy emphasis on tutorials and getting people (users, developers, and enterprises) involved with Sia. I'm happy to answer any questions Yes, I would love to see a full tutorial on the website, how to buy siacoins, how to use wallet, how to pay for storage, how to maintain payment for storage, how to retrieve files. Assume that users know absolutely nothing about how Sia works.

What we really need is a very simple step-by-step walk through on how everyone can; download the client, acquire Siacoins, upload their files, and maintain their storage. I haven't seen that really posted anywhere and it should definitely be on Siacoin.com

The recent surge in Backpage BTC use proves how spot on Justus was with his Black Market blog post. Its obvious that BTC will change how we do commerce, no the other way around.
