@shahim, I don't see an existing shahim username on the dedicated forum and new user registration (via e-mail) does appear to be working.
*Note, social login doesn't work currently as I haven't setup a FB, twitter, or any other API for navcointalk forum yet.

This is absolutely getting ridonkulous at this point. No anon-nodes available (what's going on here pakage)?
I propose that all of the nav dev's actually create account(s) on the dedicated forums and allow me to setup some sort of group-based file repository so what few investors remain can actually see some sort of work being done (not to mention possibly contribute too from both a coding and testing perspective). We already have the capability of uploading source repo's to our dedicated forum on a per group basis so viewing of said 'work in progress' could easily be restricted to only 'serious' investors if your worried about intellectual property stuffs. We also have a built in trouble ticketing system that we could be utilizing on our forum for alpha/beta testing of new wallet features in-house.
Interested in hearing what the community and navcoin dev's think of this concept? The decision to move forward with something like this (whether it be on our dedicated forum or through another source management system (github not all that's out there ya know if its a question of resources to make repo private)) I don't see this situation getting any better.
We still have a # of fundamental core coin issue(s) needing to be resolved ASAP and I just don't see it happening if the dev's and remaining community don't decide to actually come together and start working through some of these issue(s) together. This intermittent communication and continual stream of promises of 'great things to come' is truly running out of steam.
I look forward to hopefully seeing the nav dev's (and remaining investors) over there so we can start having an honest dialog insofar as what is currently being worked on, what % of the way along it is, and whatever outstanding issues might come up in beta testing. Either way, it will speak volumes if the dev's do decide to exercise this option (or something along similar lines) or not.
*I've gone ahead and taken the liberty of adding a Private Developers group on the forum and have enabled file upload/download capability for the group. Similarly, both the Contributors Group and the Private Investors Group also have this capability.

Hey Remy, thanks for your continued great information. I for one really appreciate it. Would just like to echo Ginger Ninja's appreciation for all the effort remy_5 has (and continues) to put in on both the staking issue and helping out community members. It speaks volumes on his/her character.

hi,
my wallet is pretty unresponsive... anyone observing the same issue? any idea what to do? it freezes anytime i try to unlock or send some coins.... is it the huge blockchain?
could someone help?
thx in advance
Curious, I just tried sending coins via anon to a couple of exchanges and both times indicated anon-node not available. Then tried to send normally, amount deducted from my balance but not a single confirmation. Will update if I manage to figure anything out on my end. *Looks like 1 of my 3 deposits has just hit bittrex. Feeling a little better. Will update if/when other 2 deposits hit. **Looks like deposit 2 of 3 has just hit cryptsy. Still not a single confirmation on my first transfer yet ***All three deposits showed up

Anyone else notice that staking has now gone the other way? Im now getting 1/7th of what i was getting before "the fix" Devs don't ever reply so maybe remy can say if the block timing issues have changed? Unfortunately I'm not entirely convinced any sort of 'fix' was actually implemented. If what Remy_5 indicated earlier is true regarding nav having it's 3rd birthday doesn't the PoS block reward get cut in half at that point? That coupled with the recent network weight increase might explain the major delta we are all experiencing on staked wallets at this point. Definitely would love to hear remys analysis of the situation. Just my 2 satoshi's worth. *Also, I have a question for soopy or pakage, if getbalance function is currently depreciated on nav-qt what function would I use in lieu of it?

um, i just made a successful transfer...... sooooooo, ya. and it was pretty instant i thought it was down for maintenance?
Just attempted to send a single NAV anonymously to cryptsy and I'm receiving a dialog box indicating unable to locate an anonymous node. I have a feeling maybe you just tried sending without anon. enabled perhaps?

Nice to see some kind of progress going on but sure hope your not implying we are going to be waiting til jan-Mar time frame which is what "big things coming for navcoin in the next quarter" implies if taken literally. If was meant to be literal things will get a whole lot worse before they get any better.

Is the fat boy still in jail - or did he bail out?

About Alcurex, has already been written. Well, the block interval is still much variable, but in the last hours the most of time is a little more slow, around 12 seconds. (Yes !!) Shahim has just restored the block explorer. What about the volume in general, a few minutes ago there was a spike on Bittrex a little less than 1 BTC. Nice to see block explorer back online. Insofar as volume in general it doesn't appear as though there has been a corresponding increase of volume on the other two primary exchanges...yet. (correction, does look like there has been a slight increase on the two smaller exchanges as well)

Just some information about the hardware / network: our provider in canada is closed down, so we have lost some servers, which is no big drama at all, but affects especially the block explorer and richlist updates, since these are very hardware performance consuming processes. I tried to load the explorer several times, but is has been so slow. Now I changed some configs and hope the exlorer is loading the missing days now! Richlist is outdated and I will take care after the explorer is up to date again. I am searching for new providers, but we have to take a look at the cost side and are not able to just book a new one, since we already have very high monthly costs, which are all paid by our own. I know hoe this sounds to you, but I can tell you it is not that simple, like you may think. Servers are not for free! Performance is not for free. To the event in taipeh, pakage already posted some more pictures and information about that event. He already even had spoken on another event in end of august. Here you can read some reactions of the node.js guys: http://www.meetup.com/de/AucklandNodeJs/events/220772916/?eventId=220772916 (Link already posted by pakage some pages ago) To the bip/webwallet/ HD wallet thing, we all thought it is more easier to integrate, but soopy is making progress and is in testing different functions. Also the block timings are a point he is looking at parallel. I will work at the explorer now. regards shahim edit: I have to put down the webservice for a short while! Thanks for telling us the current issues. Now that we know a little behind the scenes, what if you outsourced a problem to the community? what if we as a whole could find a cheaper server provider? I'm sure we can. maybe there are a few people in the current nav community that would be able to point you in the right direction? im positive that its an easy fix. you only have to ask. Maybe we could all function as one... one super nav dev community. Boy, does that sound lIke a good use of the dedicated forum or what? :p

Is Rented Mining/Cloud Mining worth it?! No, no, and hell no! Mining with your own equipment isn't really profitable let alone trusting somebody else to do it for you.

Ok ok stop twisting my arm!! You've convinced me. I'm willing to accept a voucher card (any denomination fine, though bigger provides for more accurate testing :p) if you would like some trusted member feedback that it worked! :p

Signature campaigns are a great way to start earning a few extra satoshis while concurrently increasing your familiarity wit the forum.
For your existing satoshis you can also consider p2p loaning platforms like btcjam, just be aware that we'll over 50% in my experience are shams.
Some trading platforms (like poloniex) also have built in margin trading and lending functionality baked in for bitcoin. Imho, while less risky than p2p lending (if cftc decides to shut down said exchange your screwed).
There us also a lending topic under the marketplace forum but similar to btcjam, alotta shams. Do your research before investing.

another month... another email... no product.
At this point delivery of the miners is pretty much a moot point for anybody paying > 0.05/USD/kw/h anyway. Game set and match go to AlphaPoint on this one I'm afraid. Best case scenario is if some official body steps in at this point and breaks it up for the lawyers to swoop in and pick away any remaining meat (assuming there is any).

Haven't received an ad-payment since 08/06/2015 :/ When I try to enter my UID into your http://bitsig.website/beta/ site it tells me to enter my bit-x BTC addy into the other information field (which I believe I've already done). You did not do it correctly, AFAIK you should put your bit-x address in "other contact info". In fact you put it in "bitcoin address" Perhaps that's why you have not receive any payments.. It seems that was precisely my problem. Now my stats are at least showing up and I'm sure future payments will show up without issue. Just a shame I didn't recognize it until now :/ Thanks for the heads up panjul07
