Personally I find the merging of beauty and athleticism super sexy!  Always kind of had a thing for the tom-boyish type girls that where into sports when they where younger Smiley
1082  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who would you be? on: August 04, 2014, 04:56:26 AM
Think I would more than likely go with either Leonardo da Vinci or Satoshi Nakamoto on this one :p
1083  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: father lives in France and is interested in buying bitcoins. What's the best way? on: August 04, 2014, 03:49:27 AM
I did a search for France on localbitcoins.com and the majority of the sellers list bank transfers as their payment method. And if you're gonna use a bank transfer, there's no reason to limit yourself to France when many European countries use SEPA and euros. In Europe the bank transfer protocol is called SEPA. Can anyone link me to a guide on how peer-to-peer SEPA transfers work that I can relay to him?
This sort of what your looking for?

And countries currently under SEPA:

1084  Economy / Securities / Re: How can this friend successfully ipo? on: August 04, 2014, 03:44:58 AM
Ask yourself this.  If somebody offered to let you in on an IPO to do essentially what amounts to a computational bank robbery would you invest in it?  I would recommend your friend cut out the funny business and take the 1-3 bitcoins he earned hijacking cpu cycles, develop a workable concept and invest his/her mined coins in that, i.e. getting listed on an exchange.  I mean, how hard was it for him/her to dedicate a cluster of systems to mining a few coins for a time?  If he's/she's legit, and wanting to IPO something legit you would think they at the very least could risk the free coins.

BTW, I would recommend they put the keibosh on doing it too, more than likely gunna catch him/herself a case if they keep it up with the funny business!
1085  Economy / Securities / Re: [Cryptostocks] COINFARM on: August 04, 2014, 03:37:15 AM
Coinfarm summary to date.

Lost over 50% of it's value from IPO.  Dividend's have been incoming pretty much every day.  Dividends currently slowly decreasing at this point.

I believe it will go up? what is the best project buying shares in right now?

Coinfarm honestly has been one of the very few legitimate asset's I've come across on crypto::stocks.  There are 2 or three others but that's literally it for me.  I've had some pretty miserable history with my investments there.  That being said coinfarm hasn't given us any sort of update into the 1TH dragon miner that apparently had a hash module burn out.  Would be nice to get that unit back online to help increase the daily dividends.

*That being said, it being a mining asset, just like all other mining asset's the returns are without question going to continue to decrease which will subsequently continue to lower the per share price.  Just the nature of the mining game unfortunately.

Also.  Under [Receiving BTC Address Book] it appears as though after adding my BTC address the what I believe is [Delete] button also needs to be translated to English when you get a chance Smiley

nwfella   Didldak  Zuminest  1GHS antS1 has been add to your account

feryjhie and qeira47  you need to open antS1/BTC  market page to initialize the antS1'account.

Confirmed added.  Many thanks sir.  Will report back on how service seems to be going and explore more of your site.

Quick question, under [Hash] [Hash Trading] it requests user to please enter a trade password.  Apparently this is mandatory?  When I try to bypass it popups with a red dialog at the top in cantonese (?), just an FYI.  So you guys are actually requiring a separate trading password?  Interesting concept if so.

i'll take some corsair psu's if your willing to escrow Grin

We're willing to do escrow, or even cash on delivery if you prefer.
Now if you took bitcoin on delivery and allowed the person time to set it up and verify it works before paying I would be impressed :O
1092  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTB Antminer S1 & old mining hardware on: August 03, 2014, 07:32:47 PM
Are you only looking for S1's or older gear as well?

If also older gear you might want to consider changing OP to reflect what additional gear your interested in and perhaps some baseline prices your willing to pay for them.  Since I'm in the states I seriously doubt my 65-nm BFL gear is feasible but you might get lucky and find somebody in Germany that already has some BFL 65-nm gear and if they do, given what you guys are paying for power I suspect you could buy them locally for next to nothing Smiley

1094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MAX] MaxCoin - Alive and Kickin' on: August 03, 2014, 08:38:01 AM

If you make this coin PoS, change the name so it does not remind me of that fraud, reimburse people that were heavily dumped by the whales over the months... I don't see that happening.

But instead another pump and dump and the price goes only lower.

Max Kaiser deserves a gold medal for having helped to create two failed coins..

Seriously disappointed with how this coin has performed since buying in.  What was the other coin?
1095  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin ATM on: August 03, 2014, 06:20:43 AM
Not sure if this is in the right section but I have a few friends who own cafe's and bars. I've asked about putting in a Bitcoin ATM in their businesses and non of them seem to mine.

So, my question is; how would an average joe like myself go about doing this? I can Google but I'd much rather hear opinion/advice from this community.
That depends on a # of factor's.  Depending upon the size of budget your talking about working with here there are several level(s) of ATM's:

From $20+K/unit robocoins capable of dispensing fiat directly to more bare-bones unit(s) geared more towards those on a bit of a budget.  Unless your really well off I would recommend the latter, it's better to get more unit's in brick-and-mortar businesses than it is to get one or two fancy ones Wink.  I've had the pleasure of meeting one of the dev's, they are based out of Portland, OR and their unit's are pretty slick for around 1K each.

1097  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie DO'S and DONT'S? on: August 03, 2014, 05:13:04 AM
1.) Store your bitcoins locally unless cashing out or making some sort of quick trade.  Exchanges are notorious for being 'hacked' or going down for one reason or another basically losing everybody's coins.  MintPal and Viacoin a perfect recent example.

2.) Don't invest in mining equipment and expect to make your money back +some, it won't happen

3.) Don't trust anybody in this forum without researching them for yourself.

4.) Don't invest in cloud-hashing mining operations...ever!

5.) Don't panic if the day after you purchase your bitcoin it drops by 12%, if your purchasing bitcoin with the expectation of earning something more than you put into it more than likely you will have to hold your coin for at least 12-18 months at this point imho given all the crap regarding BitLicense in NY.  If this actually passes in it's present form I actually expect to see bitcoin prices suffer for at least the next year or so before the rest of the world picks up the proverbial slack.

Hope you find these tips useful.  Welcome to the fascinating world of crypto-currencies! Smiley
1098  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: any advice on: August 03, 2014, 05:06:38 AM
it's too early to sell you sig.  Grin
Actually these fella's are paying for Newbie post's:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=654009.0

One additional suggestion.  If your in a major metropolitan area there is likely a regularly scheduled bitcoin meetup of some sort that takes place at least once a month in your town.  If there is one in town or within driving distance go and check it out.  There's no substitute for networking and getting to know other individuals that might just require your 'physical labor' services and might already have bitcoin and would in essence be willing to trade their bitcoin for your services as well.
1099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ### ANN FAS ### INSTANT ALTCOIN MINING ### NEW AUCTION RULES ## on: August 03, 2014, 04:58:48 AM
Hmmm.  No dividends for awhile.  No word from dev.  Not looking good again.  Guess those AntMiner's must not be producing all that much.
This is the public mining address where funds are deposited, http://blockr.io/address/info/1KYTh9xQnep6qqBYQpkeh6GRPtmKjfUuqw
Clicking transactions on that page shows the rate of .1 deposits from mining has in fact picked up since the AntMiners were added so dividends in the future should be coming more often.
Excellent.  Thanks for the link to the address.  Now I can keep a closer eye on it and do some rough napkin maths to figure out whether or not additional shares are worth buying Smiley

*I don't suppose you would have an address for his other CS listing (GRID) for accumulated funds would ya?
