Hamburg have been trying to promote to the Bundesliga for many years but still no result. He got really close in the recent two seasons by playing promotion games but still they can't make it.  They are fighting for the third position right now and it doesn't look like they will be able to finish in top two once again. If they finish the regular season at the third position their probable opponent is likely to be Mainz or Koln for now in the promotion game. After all these attempts and fails I wouldn't be very confident about them this time as well. By the way I'm really sad to see Schalke in this poor condition. I'm quite contented with betting on both teams to score for the Lyon - Reims game.  Because I think it was riskier to bet on a side in this game between really close teams. If I made such bet my choice would be Lyon and I would lose obviously. Monaco's win wasn't a surprise but the way they got the win was really impressive. This win carried them to the second position too.  Balogun was really solid with two goals maybe but I don't like his general performance this season. He has scored a really low amount of goals unlike the previous season. He is still only 22 years old though. Not every striker is that consistent at young ages. He has a good talent and I hope he doesn't waste it. |

Martial needs to give himself a chance in another team and show his game to everyone again. Martial could not play the football he wanted due to injuries. The important thing here is that you continue to improve yourself without giving up. This must be what Martial should do.
When he plays better in another team, he can become a football player that big teams want again. I have not liked Manchester United's squad structure for a long time. Many players in the team may leave the team during the transfer season.
Martial just doesn't belong with Manchester United. He can really play better at another team if he makes his choice wisely. I'm not saying like he was never good here. His performance in the 2019/2020 season was really impressive with so many goals in the Premier League (17 goals). However he can't be as productive as in the past anymore. Manchester United can find a better alternative than him. For example Zirkzee has been one of the rumoured names. He is quite young as well and he might be a good option. But I'm curious about how much Bologna would demand for him.  |

RB Leipzig couldn't keep up with what they are good at doing by having a 0.....0 draw against darmstad,
Bayern Munich and Dortmund I was expecting a more serious match that possibly end a draw match but Dortmund took the lead and the ended 0....2.
I was expecting to see a win for Bayern Munich but they weren't good at all. It was a deserved loss for them. The first goal Ulreich conceded was his mistake. He could have actually saved that shot. Neuer would if he was able to play. Kane wasted important goal opportunities as well. If he was able to equalize the score then maybe we would watch a different game. But this result is really nice for Dortmund. Bayern Munich weren't going to be the champions anyway even if they won. However Dortmund were fighting Leipzig for staying in top four. This win and Leipzig's unexpected point loss in the Mainz game were highly beneficial for Dortmund. |

It was a really huge loss for Napoli home by the way. I never expected such result like most people. I thought Napoli would even win you know. They beat Atalanta once away. But this performance was just horrible. It seems like Napoli have given up and don't have any goal left to achieve. I mean their chance for top four was already really low and this result must have ended their remaining hopes. They can at least qualify for another European tournament but with this performance it isn't happening for sure. The players seem really unmotivated so Calzona wouldn't be able to do much in the remaining time period of the season I assume. They will need to get prepared better for next season. |

The odds for the first leg of the PSG - Barcelona matchup are:  PSG look quite favourite which isn't surprising at all. When it comes to PSG to advance to next phase they are favourite for that as well. I'm really curious about what Xavi will do while they are the underdog here. I'm also expecting PSG to get past them honestly. It isn't going to be easy for Barcelona to stop Mbappe while they are having a bad season defensively. Not finding a solution to him will decrease their chances to advance. I think PSG will win home first and finish the work by a decent score in the second leg. |

When it comes to Xavi I must admit one thing especially. In his control the players started to show much better performances. I still remember that horrible time period with Koeman. Barcelona were in serious pain back then. After Xavi came they even won a La Liga title but things aren't just going the way he would like now. There have been serious defensive vulnerabilities and this is very likely to cost them the league title. I didn't expect Xavi to make such announcement this early honestly. I thought he would give it one more chance while the board were still believing in him. If he doesn't change his mind then I'm curious who their next manager will be. |

Erik Ten Hag or Roberto De Zebri would do grand. But how good is Zebri if he handles a top club like Manchester United?
Yeah I have doubts about how capable De Zerbi would be about managing a much bigger team in the Premier League. He is shown as a candidate for Liverpool's next manager at the same time. However Brighton are the first team he is managing in this league now. Before this job the biggest team he managed was Shakhtar Donetsk. Manchester United and Liverpool both had better be diligent about their next choices to not regret for that later on. There should definitely be better choices than De Zerbi for these teams as well. |

Sainz is really rumoured with many teams these days. We will probably see him joining Audi in two years but his future is ambiguous for next season for now. There are three options on which people have talked about: Mercedes, Red Bull and Aston Martin. He could surely be a great choice for Mercedes after losing a great driver like Hamilton. For him to be able to join Red Bull they would need to part ways with Sergio Perez first though. If Perez keeps up the good work I don't think such thing will happen. Aston Martin is the latest rumour. Taking Stroll's place would make Aston Martin much more competitive. |

Napoli will be blamed by a lot of its fans if it will not able to win against atalanta soon. Napoli's target to enter UCL, that can be reached only when napoli farms full points from any matches.
It is just too difficult for Napoli to qualify for the Champions League group stage from now on. Maybe there are still 9 more weeks. However the problem is that the point gap with the fourth position has gone up to nine points. Besides there are 3 teams ahead of them fighting for the same goal. Napoli really need to get quite lucky at the same time. This is all because of starting the season really badly. It took them a really long time to start getting better results. But they still continue to lose points even though they haven't lost a game for many weeks. If they won their last two games instead of draws then their chance for the Champions League would be more realistic. |

Yeah! He had finally gotten to clear the air with his statement today of how Bayern Leverkusen is the place for him to stay and not leave. I don't know if he is doing this so he can focus on winning the Bundesliga League Competition.
Why miss out on such a good chance to manage a big club like Liverpool and at most Bayern Munich who would have been a perfect switch for him.
Though he did rejected a couple fee others like Manchester United, Barcelona and Chelsea. He has no desire to manage or work with them.
De Zebri has experience now, he can handle that young squad but should be ready to see most big names leaving the club.

I have also heard of Xabi Alonso's statement on his future later on thanks to Fabrizio Romano. Then good luck to him with Leverkusen next season. Let's see whether they will manage to be this impressive then as well. Jose Mourinho shouldn't go to Milan. I think the same as you on that. The play styles of these two sides are totally different. Mourinho's system can make a really negative impact on their results considering the character of the squad. I understand Mourinho wants to come back to management as soon as possible. I'm really surprised to hear about Xabi Alonso's decision before the end of the season. I thought he would leave it to time and make his final decision in the summer. It seems like he doesn't want to leave Leverkusen just yet after this really successful season. This is his first year in his manager career as well which shouldn't be forgotten as well. Maybe he wants to take it slow before managing a much bigger team than Leverkusen. Because if he chose Liverpool or Bayern Munich for example his responsibility was going to be much bigger than now. He was going to be under quite high pressure. But in the future I would like to see what he can do under a bigger pressure as well. |

Lille is currently winning comfortably against Lens, the game is now 2-0. Lille can score one more goal.
With this win Lille will keep their position in the League, this win is really good for them because there is not much points difference between 2nd and 9th place in the League, the standings can change all the time.
Lille are doing a quite good job in the Ligue 1 now. They are really good at having a good balance between the Ligue 1 and Conference League so far. Probably they will get eliminated by Aston Villa in the Conference League though. But at least this would happen against the biggest title contender in the tournament. It is really not easy for other remaining teams to play at the same level with Aston Villa. Lille can still qualify for the Champions League even directly to the group stage. It won't be easy to hold onto top three for that though. If they can be more productive in the amount of goals from now on this can be much more possible. |

This was a fierce battle especially as Arsenal wanted revenge against Bayern Munich after Arsenal's massacre in the past, with Bayern scoring five goals in a match against Arsenal at least three times. Moreover, Arsenal is on fire this season, even in first place in the EPL league, and Arsenal's game is much better under Arteta.
However, it is true that this season Bayern Munich's performance is much worse than Arsenal, but they still have more experience and especially since they almost lost the Bundesliga title race to Leverkusen, you can be sure they will put all their concentration on the UCL. So they also have full potential to win in the UCL, at least they can win one of the two matches. Because of course Arsenal's concentration is still divided between the EPL league and the UCL league.
We will see whether Arsenal will have revenge on those horrible times. First I saw the news like Kane wouldn't be able to recover until mid April but now it looks like he is ready to play even in the next game. He is a crucial player for Bayern Munich right now because of being very productive you know. If he wasn't able to play Arsenal defense might be a little more relieved. Arsenal players should play bravely and I believe they will. I mean I don't expect Arteta to adopt a defensive game. It wouldn't fit the character of the squad either. There is really not much time left for the Copa del Rey finale. Athletic Bilbao - Mallorca is like one of the most unpredictable finales honestly.  I can understand Athletic Bilbao's presence here. Because they are already having a solid season. They deserve the chance. But Mallorca's being at this level is really surprising to me. Eliminating an in form Girona and another challenging opponent like Real Sociedad was really great work. But when it comes to which side to win the trophy I would favour Athletic Bilbao. I believe Mallorca have used up their chances so far. It would be nice to add a trophy to their lovely season. |

Benfica were doing really bad in the Champions League group stage you know. They could have even found themselves at the bottom of the group if they didn't show some life signs in few games. Those signs have led them to reach the quarter finals in the Europa League now. They had quite big difficulties against Toulouse and Rangers though. This is why I'm doubting their chance against Marseille as well. Because after Marseille changed their manager recently they started to play way better. If Benfica can't get a win home in the first leg I think they would be in serious danger to be eliminated. I'm favouring Marseille because of liking their game these days. |

It seems that the rumors about Xabi Alonso joining Livepool or Bayern are fake. Alonso will stay in Leverkuzen for another season.
The favorites for a new Liverpool manager are Roberto De Zerbi and Ruben Amorim from Sporting Lisbon.
I don't know if those rumors are true, but De Zerbi seems like the best candidate for Liverpool. He's been doing great with Brighton and it's time for him to join a bigger club. Arne Slot, who is a coach of Feyenoord is a also a good candidate, but Dutch coaches are having a hard time in the Premier league.
Have you heard of any statement by Xabi Alonso? Because I haven't. However I can agree that there isn't anything certain on his future yet. Today in the news they write that Kane has returned to training in the general group, and this means that he will be ready to play for the game with Dortmund. Apparently the doctors of Bayern FC quickly dealt with the damage he received (and it turned out to be not serious).
If he had dropped out for the Champions League games, it could have been a disaster for Bayern. Even with him, they were not the favorites in this pair, and without him they would have literally no trump card.
It really seems like he has recovered. The team doctors must have worked really great indeed because the probable date for his return seemed like mid April first. Maybe Paris Saint Germans and also Marseille because I've read stuffs relating to him working with Marseille. I feel like he can only handle a big club with world class players and not build and mold players into goal machines same way Xabi Alonso has done for Bayern Leverkusen.
What he achieved with Real Madrid I'd say was with the help of these world class players, Toni Kroos, Bale, Benzema, Casemiro, Luka Modric and also Cristiano Ronaldo. As they all worked hard to get the Champions League Competition for three consecutive seasons.
They Paris Saint Germans have enough time to prepare for the game against Barcelona. But the game against Marseille during the weekend seems like a easy going game.
Zidane to manage Marseille? I think it would be a pity. Because Marseille can't offer what Real Madrid offered him. They aren't a very rich team like Real Madrid and PSG. Zidane should definitely manage a rich team where he can build a squad according to his will. I don't think he can be much successful with an average team. There is only a gap of two points between these teams right now. I think we will watch a quite competitive game here. Kvaratskhelia is said to be injured and will not play. Napoli still have Osimhen though. By the way Napoli beat Atalanta away by 2-1 before. I feel like we will watch a similar game to that and they will win once again. 2.14 seems really tempting from here. |
