It is quite difficult to predict Tottenham's potential for this season honestly. They have indeed found just the manager they need. Ange Postecoglou's system has been working like clockwork so far. Maybe they are the leader for now but we never know if they can maintain this level in the long run. In addition their performance in big games will also be decider.

So far they have played 3 big games as far as I can see. They were against Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United. Their performance against Arsenal and Manchester United were really decent. But they had a quite big difficulty in beating a Liverpool playing with 2 red cards. If they continue to get positive results in such games then they might really be in the title race.

That's probably another emotional match for lukaku. he played for intermilan last season but on a few weeks passed and he has moved to the roma. This is also become the important match mourinho to proves that if its squad can do better to beat intermilan.
Even thought the chance is quite small but im very optimistic to see that roma to win against milan with narrow score. I hope that lukaku will able to show himself was still worthy to be considered as a great striker.
Intermilan needs also to fear caused by he is performing even better under mourinho. In my understanding if a striker has responsibility in helping its club to scoring against its opponent but it's not a mandatory for the striker to scoring in any match.
Lukaku needs to build a good team work with el shaarawy and dybala. These guys will become very great attackers of roma.

I hope roma can regain its best performance again.

Yeah Lukaku is going to play against his previous team in the end. But I think he would play really ambitiously especially while he is in great shape these days. He has been in a solid form for Roma and Belgium both recently. He scored 5 goals in 7 games in the Serie A as well. It is like he is scoring in every single game he plays in recently.

I think he can maintain this performance against Inter depending on Roma's productivity against Inter. Roma also score nearly as much as Inter in the league but I don't know what they would be able to do against Inter.

De Bruyne is another star with his name being called with Saudi Arabia teams for next summer. He is 32 years old though but I believe he is still solid enough to play at the same level for a couple of more years at least. I don't know if he would lean towards such transfer yet. No doubt the offer would be quite attracting. Grin

De Bruyne must be focused on recovering from his injury first. After that he wouldn't think about these things already now. He would concentrate on his game until the end of the season. I would like to see him staying at Manchester City longer honestly.

Dortmund are going to play against Frankfurt away next time. Dortmund's odds to win this game is quite high. However I still believe this is a game that they can actually win. Because first of all they have been on a really good run so far. They lost to PSG somewhere among their games but it didn't affect them badly at all.

They are returning from England with 3 points they got in the Champions League as well. Moreover they have been quite dominant against Frankfurt recently considering their winning the last 4 head-to-head games. I think Dortmund will win by one goal gap.

I can agree with that when it comes to Brighton's Europa League performance. They aren't like in the Premier League obviously. If they did the results would have been way different. Therefore it is quite hard to trust fully on a side in the Brighton - Ajax game. But Brighton should find a way to do better here as well. They don't qualify for European cups all the time.

When it comes to this game honestly I also see Brighton one step ahead. Bookmakers must be even expecting a destruction as they have given 1.29 odds for Brighton to win. Maybe Ajax are one point ahead of Brighton in the group now. But if we compare these teams in a wider aspect we can see Ajax being in crisis. They have been horrible in the Eredivisie.

I believe it is harder to predict the result of Europa League and Conference League games compared to the Champions League. But for this game I want to trust Brighton.

The opening game of the week is going to be Girona - Celta Vigo tomorrow night. Girona have been amazing so far as you have seen. They actually have so many players missing since the beginning of the season. However this is still not a hindrance for them to rise in the standings with an incredible form. Here against Celta Vigo I sense another win for Girona honestly.

Celta Vigo's main goalkeeper Ivan Villar got a red card against Atletico Madrid. Therefore Guaita is going to replace him. He played for 60 minutes in the whole season which was against Atletico Madrid. Maybe this can be some extra advantage for Girona.

I think Chelsea's unbeaten streak will continue by the Brentford game this Saturday as well. I actually expect a win from them in Stamford Bridge. Because I have noticed a really good level of progress made in their performance. They were quite impressive against Arsenal last week and it was a game that they could have even won.

Thinking of their current look I think this is a game they they should be winning. But I don't know if it would be a comfortable one. Brentford made difficulties for Newcastle and Manchester United before despite losing them both by one goal gap. I think Chelsea will also win by the same gap.

Neuer might be able to return after his injury by the Darmstadt game finally. It is still not clear though but he is expected to be in the starting eleven in a short time after his return. Ulreich has already stated it clearly that his role in the team is clear and he has no problems on continuing as Neuer's substitute.

I wouldn't have expected the opposite from Ulreich either. In the end he has always been a backup goalkeeper for Bayern Munich. But I must admit that his performance so far has really been mesmerizing. We might still see Ulreich in the starting eleven for a couple of more games after Neuer returns. Because Neuer would need some time to be fit enough.

De Gea is still free agent. I saw a source claiming that Manchester United might rethink of signing him back. However that source was The Sun so I don't believe anything they publish. Grin

Apart from that it is said he can even decide for an early retirement depending on his getting a satisfying offer from a team. I hope he doesn't get retired this early in his career. 32 isn't an old age for a goalkeeper. Especially for a great goalkeeper like him. Probably teams from Europe don't want to approach due to his high demand. Otherwise I don't know the reason. Maybe he would get an offer from Saudi Arabia or Qatar.

It is really difficult to understand Newcastle honestly. This team scored 4 goals against PSG you know. I thought that their game against Dortmund would end up in a way that both teams score. Dortmund needed to score and get some points so bad that I think it was pretty reasonable choice for betting.

However Newcastle wasted unbelievable goal opportunities. Sad

After Dortmund got ahead I was seeing it done already. Newcastle made a much bigger effort in the second half but there wasn't any goal in the end. The final score was really unexpected to see for me.

But to get that version of Haaland indeed De Bruyne is needed. They have had a wonderful chemistry that Haaland scores even more in his presence. But even for now I can say Haaland is doing quite well. I expect him to score against Manchester United at the weekend.

We observed some serious problems at Bayern Munich side against Galatasaray in the Champions League. They were really helpless in the first half and they could have even lost the game really badly. They won by 3-1 due to Galatasaray players' starting to get really tired in the second half. I don't think Tuchel is happy with what he saw from his players there.

Their next opponent is going to be Darmstadt in the Bundesliga. I will be expecting them to make up for that performance strongly here. I think Bayern Munich can win by at least a three-goal gap and its odds are 1.57 now which is quite tempting.

Real Madrid need general good performance from Jude and they don't only expect the English player to score goal. It is even not a main task given to Jude Bellingham by Real Madrid and Carlo Ancelotti.

Of course this isn't the main contribution form expected from Bellingham right now. It was the same before the beginning of the season as well but he surprised everyone by making quite extra score contribution in most of the games. I hope people don't start criticizing him in vain if he can't score as many as at the beginning from now on.

As long as his general performance is at a good level he would surely support this effort with some goals and assists as well. By the way I saw Bellingham playing as a centre-forward against Braga which was interesting. Ancelotti didn't want to use Joselu and changed formation as well.

It was indeed a very crucial performance for each one of Maguire and Onana. This performance can help them both strengthen their position in the squad by some rate. Maguire is normally a substitute player for Varane - Martinez duo. I don't know whether he can get the shirt from any of them when they return.

However Onana is their main goalkeeper now. It is very important for Manchester United to see some good progress in his performance. Maybe this big save can help him mentally a lot and we start seeing less individual mistakes from him from now on.

Manchester United are still in a really troubling condition and I assume we will see their problems from a clearer point of view when they face Manchester City in a week.

It really looks like Lyon are a serious candidate to relegate from the Ligue 1 this season. Sad

They lost to even Clermont home which had less points than them in the standings. Lyon have 0 wins in 9 games so far. If this goes on like this until the end of the first half of the season then I will be more confident about their being relegated.

For example Lens are also struggling a lot but they are at least better than Lyon. They are focused on the Champions League more. So if they shift their focus onto the league more then I believe they will make a good improvement which is good enough to reach safety.

I can agree with that as well. This victory carried them right behind Milan and they are only one point away. Getting this kind of good results in big games is going to be key for Juventus. They can increase their chance for the title challenge a lot by that. The previous season was really bad for them and they aren't even in a European cup now.

Allegri must have a big responsibility now to carry this team to a good success this season. As they won't have as tight schedule as most of their direct competitors they had better take advantage of it.

I can't be sure about anything when it comes to Kaoru Mitoma honestly. Because the progress he has made so far is really big. Brighton signed him for only 3 million euros but he has increased his value to 50 million euros in a year. Of course coming to one of the biggest European leagues already increases it but his great performance has also been effective.

He still has 4 more years on his contract. However signing for bigger teams might still attract him quite much next summer. I wonder whether Brighton can hold onto him.

Bellingham couldn't score against Sevilla and didn't become the savior this time. However he is still keeping a really consistent performance in general. Because I don't even remember once that he played poorly in a game. He is always fighting for more and consolidating his place in the starting eleven more at the same time.

I think he is irreplaceable in the starting eleven because of this reason. They had better hope that he doesn't get injured much. Lucky them that he doesn't have a bad injury history. He got injured only a couple of times in his career which were all for a short time only.
