ondition for Zidane to accept a job is that he can win the Champions League. There had been rumors that he may soon be coaching a smaller club, but I doubt that as he is not the coach who wants to waste time on first making players better for years until he himself can the finally compete for the titles. If he comes back, I think it would be Real Madrid with the prospects of having Vinicius Junior, Jude Bellingham and then maybe Haaland or Mbappe. I think that would be a team that could be a chance for him tempting enough to say yes one more time.

Zinedine Zidane has been waiting on an opportunity to take the manager job at France for some time. It has been his priority so far that's why he hasn't wanted to manage any other team. Deschamps still has a contract with France national team until 2026 though. Therefore I wonder whether Zidane would make a change in his plans.

Coming back to Real Madrid would of course be amazing. Ancelotti is about to sign for Brazil next summer so Real Madrid will be in search of a new manager. Maybe he could prefer to manage PSG as well in case Luis Enrique's time doesn't last long. But for now we don't know if he would think about any of these.

The odds for the Milan - Juventus game are like this:

Milan: 2.30   Juventus: 3.20

Maybe the odds would have been a little closer to each other but it is still fair I think. Because Milan have won all of their home games so far and they are in the lead in the standings as well. They only lost to Inter which was a really huge one. But it still didn't affect them much mentally. That has been the only point loss for them so far. They just can't underestimate Juventus on one hand because Juventus are also impressive this season. If we see the usual Milan they should at least be winning by one goal.  Smiley

If Bayern Munich were in a similar situation to Manchester United then Galatasaray would have had a chance against them as well. However the situation is the opposite now. Bayern Munich are doing incredible this season. Especially with the addition of Kane to the squad they have got even more dangerous in the attacking line.

I don't think Galatasaray can win home or away against them as a result. I don't even expect them to get one point in one of these games. The game in Allianz Arena would end up with a big goal gap most probably. Galatasaray should just focus on finishing this group at the second position.
1304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: October 11, 2023, 09:11:05 AM
Mbappe would make Real Madrid reach another level if he joins them next summer. They have already been much stronger thanks to Bellingham addition. He is really unstoppable these days. I believe a trio of Mbappe - Vinicius Junior - Bellingham would be very deadly in the attacking line. But will this transfer really happen?

For now things are going on really bad for PSG side. They aren't much likely to be successful this season. They might not make it to next round in the Champions League and they can risk their title chance in the Ligue 1 with this game as well. These things all should affect Mbappe's decision to stay or leave.

Chelsea - Arsenal could be an interesting game. Of course on paper Arsenal are much closer side to be victorious in this game. However Chelsea won their last two games in the league which should be some help for them to motivate themselves better for the Arsenal game. Besides this game is going to be played in Stamford Bridge as well.

Arsenal haven't been losing to Chelsea away in the league for like 5 years though. This psychological advantage might also put Arsenal in a good place for this game. Arsenal look even better than the previous season right now. They beat Manchester City recently you know. For now I think they will beat Chelsea here too.

I don't think Napoli would say okay to any kind of swap deal. They would rather accept cash for Osimhen and their demand would surely be insane amount of money. Arsenal aren't a poor team in the end. Their financial condition must still be solid despite spending a lot of money in the recent times.

If they are really keen on signing him then they had better make their move next summer. Napoli would try to extend with Osimhen until then. If they can't convince him for a new contract then there would be a big opportunity for Arsenal or any other team to take it.

Napoli is currently ranked 5th on the Serie A rankings. The 1-3 defeat to Fiorentina at home made Napoli fans lose all patience with coach Rudi Garcia. They still play with a 4-3-3 formation, but their attack could be stronger and clearer. I was shocked, especially when he withdrew three key players, Osimhen, Lobotka, and Zielinski, from the field when Fiorentina was leading 1-2. Garica believes that this loss was due to player psychology leading to mistakes in defense, not due to tactics. He needs to be more talented to lead Napoli. What I need most from Mr. Garcia is humility and recognition of his mistakes to correct them.

Rudi Garcia will be highly criticized for sure if Napoli can't stay in the title competition this season. The gap with the leader Milan has already reached 7 points after leaving 8 weeks behind. When we look at Napoli's goal statistics they seem really good actually. They can score easily and concede nearly the same as the leader.

However they just can't reflect this onto the scores of their games. Rudi Garcia had better think about a formula to solve this inconsistency problem. The fans must be really expectant after seeing how dominant they were in the previous season.

There is some significant drop in Haaland's performance in the last two Premier League games. And Manchester City lost both of these games as well. I don't want to mean that it is because of Haaland of course. The team play was just not good enough. These losses helped Tottenham take the lead and Arsenal follow them right behind.

Manchester City need to improve this team effort much more. They have lost their concentration recently. I don't want to say the same thing for Haaland because he has already scored 8 goals in 8 games. Of course he will be out-of-form sometimes.

Monaco and Nice are continuing from where they left on one hand. Especially Monaco had a tough game on paper. The odds were also proving that. Reims have had a really good run so far. Since the day Will Still started to manage this team there is a huge improvement. They are continuing on this way this season too.

However Monaco finished the job early in the second half already unlike my expectations. They got 3-0 ahead I mean and Reims couldn't answer properly. Balogun also scored against his old team. He was doing really amazing with Reims previously so I'm curious what he will do for Monaco this season.

It is a winning streak of four games for Atletico Madrid now. It was a quite tough game for them unlike the odds. Real Sociedad resisted really strongly and Atletico Madrid barely scored the winning goal. Thanks to Griezmann's penalty goal in the final moments they won by 2-1. This was a really valuable win at the same time.

Maybe Real Madrid and Girona both won as well but Barcelona lost two points against Granada. You know Atletico Madrid even have a missing game to play. In time they can turn this situation into a real advantage. They won against Real Madrid before and I wonder what they will do in Camp Nou in nearly two months.
1311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 09, 2023, 10:03:37 AM
Juventus took advantage of Inter's point loss really well last week. They won by 2-0 against Torino and they have been doing a good job about not falling behind the leader much as well. Vlahovic was injured and couldn't play. But this was still no problem for Juventus as things were under control.

I see a better Juventus than their previous season version so far. But consistency is needed in the long run at the same time. Allegri's seat wouldn't be safe after the previous season. They would be expected to join the Champions League by finishing in top 4 at least.
1312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 09, 2023, 09:56:33 AM
It is quite fair to assume that Bayer Leverkusen may be a more dangerous opponent because Dortmund can turn on clown mode at any moment and lose points where no one could have predicted. Already now Bayer is rated better than Dortmund (but still too far from Bayern):

Fc Bayern Munich 1.25

Bayer 04 Leverkusen 7.50

Borussia Dortmund 11.00

It's funny that Bayer and Bayern have the same goal difference: 23-6

It is the classic odds by bookmakers for Bayern Munich. I will give them that as well because they are really the favourite for the league title by far. Their being at the third position now doesn't change anything for them. They are stronger than last season and the Kane transfer has been very beneficial.

Leverkusen and Stuttgart are doing really well on one hand maybe. But I would expect Stuttgart not to last very long. However hopefully Leverkusen can manage to stay in this race until the final moments. If Dortmund did it with a worse level of performance Leverkusen deserve to do this more than them with this game now.

I really liked Brighton's determination against Liverpool. Despite Liverpool's making a comeback with Salah's goals Brighton still managed to get one point. Liverpool couldn't answer in the last 10 minutes. Brighton's defense was vulnerable maybe but their scoring productivity has been really impressive so far.

We have seen another example of it which helped them get a point from this tough game. First the Tottenham loss and now a draw against Brighton. There is some drop in Liverpool's form but I believe in them to make up for this against Everton next time.
1314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: October 08, 2023, 10:24:40 PM
It was a big disappointment to see Barcelona struggling that much against Granada. They got even 2-0 behind in the first thirty minutes of the game I mean. It wasn't easy for Barcelona to even equalize the score. Joao Felix was nearly going to be the savior for his team however his goal was disallowed by VAR due to offside.  Sad

Interestingly Xavi didn't use Felix at the centre. He was again on the left wing and we saw Torres in the middle. I mean Torres is technically a winger rather than a striker. Maybe Felix and him both would have been more effective by a change in position.

Roma are on the rise while Napoli are the other way around these days. This time Roma destroyed Cagliari away by 4-1. It was like nearly all of their shots on target ended up with goals. This must be their most efficient game in the season so far. It must be the same for Lukaku as well as he scored 2 goals.

He has reached 5 goals with this performance in the league. It looks like he can really have a productive season with Roma no matter what they do. He is really doing great in Italian football rather than the Premier League. It is the best for him to stay here as long as he wants and leave for Saudi Arabia at one point.
1316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 08, 2023, 10:11:13 PM
Manchester City off course did great but in this game, I saw they had fewer shorts on target. They created chances but not enough to score or be on target.
They did great matches previously, they didn't in the current match against Arsenal.
It is not a fewer shot on target, they only made a single shot on target. It is quite shameful that Man City attackers were only able to make 1 shot on target during the match.

I mean especially one thing was a really big goal opportunity. They were keeping Arsenal defense under pressure and Alvarez was nearly turning this pressure into a goal. David Raya made a big mistake but Arsenal must be thankful that it was a goal kick later on. Manchester City couldn't play as they wanted today.

Arsenal finally managed to take advantage of this in the last minutes. Martinelli's luck was also right beside him in that incident and he scored it. I can't even imagine how satisfying it must be for Arteta to beat his old teacher Guardiola here.  Smiley

After point losses in the Ligue 1 and Champions League for two games PSG finally won a game. Honestly I didn't expect this game against Rennes to be comfortable at all. I even thought Rennes would get some points from them. However getting 2-0 ahead in the first half made things much easier than expectations.

Mbappe didn't make any goal contribution in this game. This has been the same for four games by the way. I'm curious about whether he has lost his concentration from now on. Especially after the Newcastle game he must be really frustrated.
1318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: October 08, 2023, 09:53:01 AM
Bellingham is really unbelievable! He continues to play like a goal machine. He is doing amazing not only in the La Liga but also the Champions League. I really liked him against Osasuna as well of course. With these 2 goals he is top scorer with 8 goals in the league now. His high effort would play the biggest role if they become the champions.

By the way Sevilla had a home game against Vallecano as well. However the game was really like a nightmare for Sevilla unfortunately. They were 2-0 behind in the first 30 minutes already. Even the equalizer came in the last moments otherwise it was a loss.  Sad  I thought we would see a bigger effort from them and they would win this.
1319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 08, 2023, 09:42:55 AM
Dortmund got a solid win against Union Berlin by 4-2 thanks to playing the second half really strongly. Union Berlin finished the first half 2-1 ahead which made me worried a little. Because I decided to add Dortmund's win to my parlay as their odds were tempting. Union Berlin have been on a really bad streak you know.

It wasn't a good day for Dortmund in terms of defensive game but they easily made up for that thanks to their scoring productivity. Fullkrug scored also which is important for Dortmund. Because he is newly improving his performance.
1320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 08, 2023, 09:37:22 AM
I was really surprised after seeing Inter not managing to win against Bologna. They couldn't even maintain their 2-0 score advantage. Bologna made it 2-2 in the first minutes of the second half. Actually there was a lot of time left for Inter to get ahead once again. But they weren't good at finding the target.

On the other hand it was a good day for Milan. Maybe the final score was a close one but they managed to win anyway. Maignan got a red card and Giroud had to play as goalkeeper for some time. He even prevented a big goal chance after that.  Cheesy
