It is rumored to be the last year of Allegri at Juventus even if his contract will expire in 2025.

Meanwhile, we having more and more visits from Conte, ok he is living in Turin where the team is but it has been already spotted 4 times this year near the team.

Interesting. Because Juventus have made a good progress compared to the previous season. They are a title contender at the moment. Maybe they are playing many low-scoring games but still they can get positive results. I thought that this would be enough to increase Allegri's credit at Juventus quite much.

Allegri had really great years with Juventus in the past. Therefore I thought that the board would be warmer about him while he is doing a good job. The season hasn't been over yet of course. But if they really finish the season at a good position then I think he should stay.

On paper Napoli and Milan are both absolute favourites to win their games. Both teams would really make use of a win in their games this week as well. Because their most recent form in the league isn't their best one. They both played two difficult games recently and lose points in both of them. They should be seeing these games as an opportunity to improve.

Salernitana and Udinese are not much different teams considering their current condition in the standings. The only difference is that Udinese have conceded 6 less goals and got 3 more draws. But still they are both winless so far. I think both of them will add another loss to their poor streak this week.

My parlay was nearly winning if Milan won against Udinese today. I'm still surprised about how they can play this badly. Because there was literally no reason for that. Milan played two tough games in the league before and lost points in both. They had a really easy game on paper this time which would be a good morale as well.

However I must have watched the poorest Milan ever in the recent times. I must admit that Udinese deserved to win. Milan couldn't even answer that goal properly. They can't be this bad in the league suddenly. It must be their priority now as they are doing really bad in the Champions League.

No matter what I can just say comfortably that Arsenal didn't deserve to get any points from this game. They were even worse in the second half whcih was helpful for Newcastle to score the winning goal as well. Like nearly the whole lineup was quite inadequate in performance today for Arsenal. It looks like this was the game that they were going to stumble hard.

I was wondering where they would get their first loss in the Premier League honestly. Because I didn't like their performance in some games despite getting good results. Newcastle were eager to punish their poor performance today.

I thought of a slight possibility for Leverkusen to get away more from Bayern Munich. But they were nearly letting the point gap to be closed more. Because Hoffenheim really made difficulties for them today. Although Leverkusen got 2-0 ahead first Hoffenheim still stayed focused and tied the score in the second half.

But thankfully they found the winning goal before it was too late.  Smiley  I say thankfully because I want them to be competitive for the league title until the end. Because after seeing what Bayern Munich did to Dortmund in the game today we understood how capable they are once more.

This was actually a winnable game for Lens today. They played away against Lorient by the way. They were really impressive in the first half. Lorient couldn't find much chance against them in that half as well. That was the time Lens should have been able to score and get ahead. But they couldn't.

The second half was more like in the middle but Lens were still able to create many goal opportunities. All that effort was in vain and there was a 0-0 draw at the end. Lens don't lose any game in the league for many weeks at least. But they can do more with some improvement.
1146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: November 04, 2023, 12:12:03 PM
We don't even know yet whether Sevilla would continue on their journey in the Europa League. But they are quite likely on one hand. If they get to the Europa League once again then my favourite contender for the title would definitely be them honestly. Because they have really been the most successful team in the Europa League for a long time.

I know there are teams like Liverpool, Leverkusen and Roma as other strongest contenders as well. Especially Liverpool would be the biggest threat to Sevilla in that case. But experience makes a big difference as we saw it from Sevilla previously in this tournament.

Real Madrid is the most successful team in the Champions League and they got humiliated by Manchester City last season. To me it seems that the achievements from the past don't help you a whole lot when you are playing new games. Sevilla has won it last season and that is fine, but how does that raise their chance or make them the favorite this season? My guess is that they may not even make it into the Europa League, but if they do wouldn't it be short-sighted to think that they are the favorite because of the title they won last year? They have a Champions League group that they should survive against PSV and Lens, but probably they don't. That's proof enough that they would not be the favorite in a competition where Liverpool and Leverkusen are playing. If they can't beat PSV or Lens, why would they be favorite against Liverpool or Leverkusen?

You have a point from another point of view. However the thing I wanted to emphasize is that Sevilla are playing really differently when it comes to the Europa League. We have seen so many examples of it in the recent 10 years. They won the title 5 times. This can't be some kind of a coincidence I assume.

They have even proven a point that they can win this title even while they are doing horrible in the La Liga. The previous season was just like that.  Smiley  Therefore bookmakers would also think the same as me if Sevilla come to the Europa League this season.

@Velvet78, do you still remember our discussion about the odds in the Las Palmas - Atletico Madrid match?

Look at the results of the match now, in line with my expectations, there is something strange there, Atletico Madrid shouldn't get high odds otherwise something unexpected will happen. Even in this match, Las Palmas almost got a clean sheet if Morata didn't score at the end of the second half. I hope that people following our discussion yesterday follow my guidance not to bet on this match.

Yeah I remember our discussion about this topic. This kind of situations make me really indecisive about placing a bet on it or not. For example I still bet on Porto against Antwerp in the Champions League game and it won thankfully. I thought of doing the same for Atletico Madrid too first but it didn't make me comfortable later and I removed it.

But I must admit one thing here.  Grin  If Atletico Madrid weren't on a winning streak then I would have definitely added their win to my parlay. Because in that case I would have seen it like an opportunity as they would have also liked to recover from a bad form.

Manchester United have an away game against Fulham today. I expect this to be another quite tough game for the Red Devils. Both teams are vulnerable in defense and weak in offense right now. Manchester United have had a really good record against Fulham in head-to-head games in the recent years actually.

However they are playing way worse than the previous season currently. With this performance level it isn't easy for them to get a comfortable win. Even if they win it might be like 1-0 or 2-1. Honestly I expect a draw for this game. Manchester United defense is even more vulnerable after Casemiro's injury. They might have bigger difficulties in defending their opponent.

This was one of the rare games we watched Mbappe being quite ineffective. I mean his rating was still 7.0 but he didn't score or make an assist. It was nice to see the players being able to bring a comfortable win to their team by 3-0. I would have liked to see Kolo Muani scoring in this game but he couldn't show himself much.

He is still a great talent of course. He likes to contribute to his team in multiple ways rather than only goals. We saw its examples a lot while he was a E. Frankfurt player. Hopefully he can make a stronger duo with Mbappe in the near future. But for now I can't even be sure of Mbappe's future at this team.  Sad

Osimhen would think about his options next summer I assume. Especially if Napoli can't finish this season with a good achievement it would be even harder to convince him to extend his contract. There were rumours before like he was close to extending with his team. However there is still no such thing.

I would have been really surprised if he decided to extend that early. Because he must also be aware of his skills and potential. Why would he want to hand his future over to Napoli? There would surely be some candidates at Napoli's door to sign him.
1152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: November 03, 2023, 10:36:15 PM
It looks like there wasn't any plot twist about the odds of the Las Palmas - Atletico Madrid game.  Tongue  The odds were pretty awkward as you might remember. Atletico Madrid still had odds over 1.60 to win in this game. Las Palmas were in form maybe but there was still a huge gap on paper in the end. There wasn't anything different about injury etc. information either.

It looks like bookmakers warned people about the big risk but there must still be so many people who bet on Atletico Madrid and lost. I could have also been one of them but I decided to add PSG into my parlay instead.  Grin

There is a slight opportunity for Leverkusen to open the point gap with Bayern Munich more by this week. Because if they win their game first they will hope for Dortmund to do something against Bayern Munich later on. When it comes to Leverkusen's game I don't think they will lose points here despite its not being the easiest fixture.

Hoffenheim are a really decent team this season however we see this in away games from them mostly. When it comes to home ones they are a big failure. I think they can be the victim in the Leverkusen game as well just as they did against them in the previous season.

Erik ten Hag has made a statement on their current condition recently. He said that he believed his players to recover from this situation in time and they would get much better. However it is really difficult to believe these words for now. I remember the first season with him. He needed some time to adapt and apply his strategies but it didn't take him much long anyway.

He has been managing this team quite a while in the end. Therefore none of the fans would like to see him struggling to make this team get better this long. We are getting close to the first half of the season but there is still no improvement in the game.

If you ask me, Eric Ten Hag is very lucky because he is not out of Macanhter United yet, to be honest, the performance of this coach was really bad in Mancnahter United and I was expecting to see Manchester United getting him fired just after the game they had against Newcastle because compared to their performance in the last season, Ten Hag was very disappointing and even the Newcastle fans were humiliating him after the result he got they said him you are going to get fired even before the sunrise.

If he arrived newly at the team and showed a this bad performance then I assume Manchester United would have started thinking of sacking him already. But now I assume they want to give him a little more time to see what happens. He was doing pretty well with the team in the previous season in the end.

But if we don't see any improvement by the end of the first half of the season then Erik ten Hag had better start getting worried about his job more.

There is a Osasuna - Girona game as well tomorrow. Girona are of course favoured by bookmakers thanks to their great form in the league. However I can't say that there is a big gap of odds between these teams. Besides they played against each other two times in the La Liga and Girona couldn't win any of them.

However I'm curious about whether this great form will be enough for Girona to get another win. Their away record has been really impressive so far. They are the second best team on that. But I still doubt them a lot for this game. Maybe I can go for both teams to score option but even that seems quite risky.

Do you think Lyon can finally finish their winless streak at the weekend? They are hosting Metz this Sunday and they are favoured to win by bookmakers of course. Even though they have 0 wins in 9 games so far they are still shown like this. Lyon must be able to win a game at some point which might fire them up a little maybe.

The problems have got really serious on Lyon side and I don't know what they are planning to start fixing these problems. But first they need a win that can help them take a deep breath. Metz are 6 points away from them but I can't say they are good either. Lyon couldn't beat Clermont but maybe they can surprise us this time.
1158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 02, 2023, 10:53:21 PM
I'm curious about one thing as well. There is the Cup of Nations in January therefore Andre Onana is going to be a part of this tournament as well. This means that he will probably miss seven games with Manchester United. As a result I wonder whether the Red Devils would plan a goalkeeper transfer on loan at least.
I think Manchester United needs another goalkeeper, not one that would come on loan, they have to sign another good goalkeeper, so there can be competition in the goalkeeping position, i even think it would help Onana to improve a lot, right now whether he plays bad or not, he knows he isn't going to be dropped because there is no competent replacement.

A new goalkeeper in January must definitely be in their plans, and once Onana is back from the African cup of nations, he and the new goalkeeper can now start competing for who would be number 1.

There are so many things to improve for the Red Devils at the moment unfortunately. Their defending is poor and I can't talk different about their attacking either. They are having serious problems on scoring enough number of goals. For example in the Premier League they have scored only 11 goals in 10 games.

However I believe this is because of the serious level of drop in the morale of the players. You know how great Rashford was in the previous season. But now he is performing really terrible.
1159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 02, 2023, 10:48:08 PM
We are going to start this game week with a Bologna - Lazio game tomorrow night. Lazio are slightly favourite on paper but bookmakers are also emphasizing that Lazio's job will be really difficult here. Bologna have been really a big challenge for Lazio in away games in the recent years. We can understand this easily from Bologna's winning and drawing two times each in their last four head-to-heads here.

Bologna's home record has been really good in this season as well so far. I would never trust Lazio to win this game honestly. I even doubt both teams will score after the analysis. Instead I would rather try my luck with both teams to score - no.  Smiley
It's very rare for anyone to bet on BTTS - No but that's not without reason and I think you're quite right in seeing that opportunity. The Bologna vs Lazio match is quite difficult to predict and the result could be a 0-0 draw or a win for one of the teams. I see that even if we win it will end with just 1 goal, what is certain is that 1 goal in this match is very important for both teams and after that one of them will definitely have difficulty getting the score back. Apart from all that, it is better to do this in a single bet and not include it in a multibet because it will really affect the results of other bets and even lose money.

Indeed it isn't a very common thing to prefer both teams to score - no over the yes version. Because people get more anxious while watching that game if they bet on the no version. If one of the sides scores an early goal then it gets even more unbearable.  Sad  But rarely I decide to give a game a chance to bet on this option.

Bologna - Lazio seemed really reasonable for me after that. It might be like the first half ends by 0-0 and Bologna might even win by 1-0. Their last game in Bologna's home ended by 0-0 by the way.
1160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: November 02, 2023, 12:13:02 PM
I think there is a big opportunity to bet on Atletico Madrid for the new game week. In two days they are going to be playing against Las Palmas away. Interestingly their odds are around 1.60. I wouldn't have expected them to have odds more than like 1.40 or maybe 1.45. When I checked the information about injuries and suspensions I didn't see anything different than the last game.

I believe Atletico Madrid would continue on their way with another win. Las Palmas are having a hard time against big teams. Besides Atletico Madrid have always been winning against them no matter home or away.

The last time Atletico Madrid played in Gran Canaria, they even managed to destroy Las Palmas with a score of 1 - 5. You also said that Atletico Madrid doesn't have a detrimental record in terms of injuries or suspensions. This should be a suspicion for us, why could this happen? For me, it is better to avoid betting on this match, even though the odds given are quite good.

It is really difficult to predict what bookmakers are up to. This match can be a great example for that. There is nothing different than the last game week but Atletico Madrid have strangely high odds. In this kind of situations there might be some plot twist as well.  Grin  I mean it might seem like dangerous and so we would avoid betting on them.

However Atletico Madrid still win the game and here is the twist. I have seen so many examples of this situation. For example Porto had really high odds against Antwerp away in the Champions League you know. But they destroyed Antwerp anyway.
