Manchester City are better even with the absence of key players, they would run down Manchester United anyday with this kind of display. They really deserves the win but it feels like the penalty awarded was too light. Though, Hojlund should have done better by contesting for the ball rather than dragging Rodri slightly.

Home and away they have been poor. I even placed em to score a goal and they couldn't. Erling Haaland deserves it, I read somewhere in the UEFA Champions League someone saying Erling Haaland is a small game player. ( Joker Innit? )

Hojlund is a disappointment in the Premier League so far. He has 0 goals in 7 games he played. It is the opposite when it comes to the Champions League as he has 3 goals in 3 games. I don't know why there is a this big difference. In the end they have played really difficult games in the Champions League as well but he was still able to score.

I don't want to compare him to Haaland already normally but he is like the opposite of Haaland thinking about his first times. I hope he can put an end to this goalless series in the Premier League as soon as possible.

PSG didn't surprise me by winning only by a one-goal gap against Brest. I wasn't expecting them to have a comfortable game against a strong Brest. Because Brest started the season really solidly but for a couple of weeks their form has been on the decline. This was a big opportunity for PSG also to hit them hard.

However I didn't expect a big score because PSG are still an inconsistent team. It is quite difficult to predict them in the Ligue 1 as well. Mbappe played a huge role in this win of course. I don't know what they will do when he isn't able to play or if he leaves the team by the end of the season.

Their game today is vs Alaves as you said, weaker team which barely could score or win. They received a lot of goals too. Atletico Madrid should not miss points in this game. I don't think they could score many goals unless red cards in the other side or they aren't ready at all but two goals difference should be achievable in my opinion.

They were nearly going to win by a two-goal difference as you said but Alaves scored a very late goal in the stoppage time. It was a 2-1 win at the end of the game. I was a little nervous after that goal honestly as Alaves were trying to score another right after it. I added Atletico Madrid to win into my betslip therefore it would be devastating for me.

Anyway Atletico Madrid benefited from the point loss Barcelona made in the El Clasico just as I expected. Morata is still in great shape as he scored another here.

I believe Napoli - Milan was way more entertaining than Inter - Roma today. Because we watched 4 goals in total. First of all I thought of making a betslip by 2 games with high odds but didn't do it later. I was going to pick Real Madrid and Milan wins for that. I relieved after seeing the comeback came by Napoli. Otherwise I was going to miss around 9.00 odds. Sad

Besides I don't know how Milan couldn't keep their big advantage. Giroud was great today but even his extra performance wasn't enough. In Osimhen's absence Raspadori and Politano was on the stage. Milan still had 6 more minutes to score the winner after Natan got a red card. They could have really won in Naples.

Max just shows it very easy to beat everyone with his incredibly fast car. He didn't even need to pit for guaranteeing the fastest lap as he got it anyway. Apart from his performance I must admit that I was really impressed by 3 drivers especially. These are Hamilton, Norris and Ricciardo. Hamilton got mediums after the red flag which was a different strategy than Red Bull and Ferrari.

But he was still able to save his tyres very well and keep a great pace at the same time. The gap with Leclerc was huge at the end of the race. If Russell managed to overtake Sainz early then he would have also finished ahead of Ferrari drivers probably. Norris climbed very well despite starting far behind on the grid. Ricciardo had a really impressive pace throughout the race.

The winning goal came like nearly right before the end of the game. The game was of course one-sided which wasn't surprising. Verona had only one shot on target and made a big effort to get one point. They were so close to do it though so people who bet on Juventus must have been really nervous in the last moments.

Anyway Juventus still got three points and I don't want to blame them for not getting an easier win of course. Verona are just really good at making things difficult for Juventus every season. Maybe Juventus would break this cycle some time later.

Today I see a clear win for Liverpool against Nottingham in Anfield. Liverpool are way better than the previous season before anything else. The last time they faced Nottingham here they managed to win the game by 3-2. They weren't having good times back then as far as I can remember but still did a good work in terms of scoring productivity.

Now in this game I will be expecting to see another solid attacking effort from Liverpool together with strong defending. Liverpool are currently one of the least conceding teams in the league. They should be able to win this game by at least a gap of two goals.

Totally agreed. It would be very unfair to be that much expectant from a very young player. He is talented but it doesn't mean that he must score many goals and make many assists even at this age. It isn't an easy task for every talented young player. There are of course examples of the opposite situation such as Haaland, Messi and so on.

But they are exceptional players in the end. Some young players would need more years to start showing much better statistics about score and assist contribution. I believe in Gavi's future to be bright honestly. Barcelona are making a high effort to keep him in the squad already.

The first half was quite balanced honestly. But after leaving it behind we started to watch a different team in the second half. We watched the ambitious version of Lens which we have seen in the Champions League so far. This was enough to crush Nantes by a final score like 4-0.

This was really a hard stomp by Lens. Because even in the previous season Lens beat them by 3-1. They were fighting for the league title back then. But it is nice to see Lens showing some good signs for the future in the season for the Ligue 1.

I thought Real Madrid would win in the El Clasico but didn't bet on them. I wish I did but their odds were just quite high and I wasn't planning to make betslip with higher risks. Real Madrid even barely won in the last moments thanks to Bellingham. Modric made an assist to him unintentionally there and Bellingham just needed to touch the ball nicely.

However Bellingham's first goal was a masterpiece. Grin

That shot from a long range to the right corner deserved to be applauded loudly. Maybe it can even be voted for the goal of the week. When it comes to which side deserved this game more I would say Real Madrid. Because I think their effort in the second half was better than Barcelona's first half performance.

I'm still happy to go for this option for my betslip. Because the first half ended by a 1-0 score which made me really nervous about even over 2.5 goals. It must be like a career-high game for Nketiah as well. He made a hat-trick here and this can be a big help for his confidence in himself. Besides I didn't like Saka. Although the final score was 5-0 he didn't make any direct or indirect contribution.

And I'm happy for making the right choice by adding Bayern Munich's win by at least 3 goals into my betslip. It was one of the most interesting games in the league these days though. Because we saw 3 red cards in the first half 2 of which were shown to Darmstadt players. This made things easier for Bayern Munich in the second half.

After they broke the deadlock the goals came down like rain. We watched a hat-trick from Kane as well and there was a 8-0 win at the end. Cheesy

This must be like an apology to their fans after their poor performance in the last Champions League game they played.

The odds of the Bayern Munich - Darmstadt aren't attracting at all but of course I understand. Over 3.5 goals or Bayern Munich to win by at least 3 goals might be some options to think of betting on. I wouldn't take the risk for over 3.5 goals @1.38 though. I would rather bet on the other option @1.57.

I know that there is only 1 goal difference between these options. Let's say Bayern Munich made it 3-0 but there is a possibility for the game to end by that score too. If I will take a risk I would prefer higher odds. Grin

We will be right back with the fourth game week in the group stage after a one-week break. The same teams will face each other this time by changing sides. For now I can see that Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Barcelona are teams with a zero point loss. I don't expect any surprise from these teams from now on about finishing as the leader.

Group E and Group F are the most complicated ones considering the points collected so far. Especially in Group E I would have expected Atletico Madrid to beat Celtic away. Because there was a huge advantage they could have taken as Lazio lost to Feyenoord. Atletico Madrid could have won actually if they didn't get that red card.

Girona are just playing really strongly when it comes to teamwork. This is their "magical formula" to be this much successful so far. There is nobody in the team who scores the most of the goals either. It is evenly divided between some midfielders and forwards pretty much. But I must admit that it was a really tough win today.

Girona played the second half much better. They just dominated the half and didn't give more than one chance to their opponent to go for a goal attempt. Even by this performance Girona barely scored in the first minute of the stoppage time. But they got what they wanted on a very critical week with an El Clasico.

The first half of the Clermont - Nice game was completely one-sided. I mean Clermont didn't even have a single goal attempt. Nice found a huge opportunity to score by a penalty. However Laborde missed the penalty and made things difficult for his team. There has been already a serious drop in his performance and this was just horrible.

He might not get his position in the starting eleven easily maybe from now on. Anyway despite Clermont's balancing the game in the second half Nice still scored a late winning goal to seal the deal by 1-0. By this win Nice are still maintaining the title of being the only team without a single defeat in the league this season.
