Liverpool was showing poor performance during the early season but everything changed after it was facing newcastle. Newcastle liked to discover its true form again by having nunez who was playing as a striker.

Liverpool are a really strong team these days. They might have even beaten that in-form Tottenham away you know. Luis Diaz's goal wasn't given which was actually a goal clearly. That goal might have changed the direction of the game. I don't want to talk with maybes of course but I just want to show their potential.

They can still stay strong in big games even if they get a red card. Klopp must have prepared his players for this season really solidly. The previous season was a disappointment in general in the end.

It must be time for Napoli to stand up again. Their next game is going to be against Verona away. Verona are in a really bad condition now. Despite the drop in Napoli's performance recently they are still a way stronger team here. This game should be a good opportunity for Napoli to make up for that Fiorentina loss as well.

Besides winning this game is important for Napoli to improve their morale before facing Milan home next time. Because that game is going to be hell of a challenging one. Grin

Milan are at the top of the standings you know. Just as Fiorentina did Milan can also beat Napoli away if Napoli don't make progress.

Monaco's scoring productivity so far has been really impressive. They have nearly a 3-goal average a game in the league now. They don't have any problems on scoring goals maybe but they can do their defending better than this. They have conceded 11 goals so far. This can give them some headache later on.

Besides Monaco should improve their performance for big games as well. They lost to Nice home. They won against Marseille maybe but it was a really tough one. They had to make a comeback to win the game. In a month they have a PSG game as well.

Maybe Dortmund don't have a squad as strong as Bayern Munich but they are still able to maintain their level in the Bundesliga. I really like their mentality for years. They have been making a lot of profit in talented player sales and they still manage to stand still in the league despite losing strength.

For example they haven't filled Bellingham's space with a similar talent. His contribution to the team was really significant you know. However they still don't make it a problem for themselves. We are watching them only two points away from the leader and having a winning streak of four games now.

Liverpool have been losing points for the recent two game weeks. It is going to be really important for them to beat Everton in Anfield to take a breath next time. This national break should be good for Liverpool to analyze what they did wrong in those last two league games. They can focus on improving the weak sides.

Barcelona are interested in Kaoru Mitoma as well. I'm curious about how they are planning to sign Mitoma and Olmo both on permanent deals. Because the last time they intended to pay more money to sign players permanently they came across a FFP obstacle in the La Liga. It must be still existing now.

Olmo and Mitoma combined would cost them more than 100 million euros for sure. I'm even talking about it by assuming both players being keen on signing for them instead of others. However especially Mitoma's next station wouldn't be clear for now. Manchester City are also interested in him.

I really liked France against Netherlands today. Actually I liked Mbappe the most. His performance was really incredible and his second goal was just marvelous. That kind of a shot is always difficult to save. He could have made a hat-trick as well if his another goal attempt didn't hit the crossbar.

Interestingly the odds given to over 2.5 goals for this game was near 2.00. I mean we watched their last game in France as well. France destroyed their opponent by 4-0. I expected a similar amount of goals here as well and here we are. Therefore it was a good opportunity to bet on over 2.5 goals.

Diego Alonso's first test is going to be a really difficult one by the way. They are going to host Real Madrid in the La Liga next time. This is the toughest challenge for Sevilla in the league now. I really liked their resistance against Barcelona in a game they played a short time ago. But I don't know whether we would see a similar effort here as well.

Sevilla can't beat Real Madrid for like five years. I wouldn't be surprised if this streak continues. Bellingham is in great shape now so Sevilla need to be extra careful against him. It is hard to say something for Sevilla as they will play their first game with their new manager. I would favour Real Madrid to win here.

Juventus really can't get rid of this kind of unfortunate incidents. The previous season went on really problematic for them until the end of the season. And now they are dealing with this kind of incidents as well. At least so far this kind of incidents haven't affected their performance negatively as they have been doing good in the league.

When it comes to Paul Pogba he just ended his career on his own. First the consecutive injuries he has experienced so far and now this dope incident. I don't think there would be any big team in Europe would be likely to sign him anymore. We might see him signing for a Saudi Arabia team later on maybe.

Group B is indeed going on interestingly. Lens have taken a big step forward by beating Arsenal home. It was something I never expected from that game. This helped Lens take the lead in the group. However the points are still very close to each other. Each team are one point ahead of the one behind.

Therefore Lens will need to maintain this high effort a little longer to secure a ticket for last 16. The games against PSV are going to be really important for them as a result. Things aren't going on well for Lens in the Ligue 1 this season. However they are doing great in the Champions League now.

Leipzig are really good at making a good amount of profit in player sales. They have had so many talented players in their squad so far. Dani Olmo is definitely one of those players. They signed him for 29 million euros from Dinamo Zagreb. Selling him for 60 million euros to Barcelona would be very profitable for them.

His market value is 40 million euros in the first place. He is still 25 years old which is still an age open to development. Barcelona would be a really good place to increase his career to another level. Leipzig can surely find another good talent by using that money.

By the way recently Manchester City have had interesting statistics which I mean like a coincidence or maybe not. Grin

They were able to win the recent games with Rodri. But in his absence they couldn't do this and lost those games. Rodri is a really important part of this team now of course. He is making a really serious contribution with his goal attempts by helping his teammates in the attacking line as well. But of course the reason why they lost those games isn't only this situation. They need to make a good level of improvement in team performance on one hand.

Leipzig can't answer the teams at top with good results recently. They were actually nearly winning against Bayern Munich home but they couldn't maintain a 2-0 score advantage. I thought that the Bochum game would be an opportunity to make up for it but there was another draw at the end of this game.

Of course it is very difficult for powerful teams in a league to have a great form all the time. But especially that goalless draw against Bochum must have been a big disappointment. Next time they are playing away against Darmstadt. I think this is the point they will start winning again.

It was a really unbelievable game between Croatia and Turkey tonight. Honestly I wasn't expecting Turkey to perform this much impressive. Because they have newly changed their manager and it was going to be his first game with the team as well. However we watched a much better Turkey in this game.

Croatia were playing really desperately. They couldn't become very effective during the whole game. Turkey could have scored more goals as well. But getting that win was the main goal and they did it. If Turkey maintain this team effort they can finish the group as the leader too.

Xabi Alonso's next team could be Real Madrid but I don't think so when it comes to Liverpool. Because Liverpool have already been doing amazing with Jürgen Klopp. This season they have made a big improvement as you have seen so far. If Liverpool have a successful season with Klopp I don't think they would think of parting ways with him.

Besides he still has a contract until 2026. Liverpool want to have a longer relationship with him obviously. But Real Madrid is a realistic candidate for Xabi Alonso even for next summer. Because Ancelotti is leaving for Brazil national team so they will need to bring someone.

Manchester United have only Onana and Altay as the goalkeepers they could make use of. They really don't have any chance other than trying both of them and giving more chances to the one who performs better. Therefore I hope to see Altay being given some chances as well. I mean Onana is still playing the same.

While he is performing poorly I don't think it is logical to be stubborn about continuing to use him in every game. Altay has been a promising goalkeeper so far as well. In this situation I believe he deserves a chance. Let's say he played worse than Onana can take the shirt back from him.

Fiorentina have been the most surprising team to me so far. Because they have made a really interesting start to the season. They have beaten a team like Napoli away by 3-1 recently as well you know. However they have problems with defending so far that's why they have conceded 11 goals in 8 games in the league.

They had better not become complacent and focus on improving their defending side. Otherwise this could lead to a really big headache in the long run. If they want to play big this season then this is their prioritized responsibility. It isn't easy to finish the season in top 4 in the end.

Mendilibar's time has ended at Sevilla recently and Diego Alonso has been appointed to the manager position. Sevilla have started to change their manager very often in the recent times. Sampaoli, Mendilibar and now Diego Alonso... I don't believe this is a good action to take for a team.

Because the system mostly changes and the players have to adapt to the new one every time. They have to get along with the new manager as well. Rather than that I think Sevilla should have given it some time. They won the Europa League title with Mendilibar in the end.

Guirassy has been like one man army for Stuttgart. He scored more than 50% of the number of goals the team have scored so far. His career has evolved into something different since he joined Stuttgart by the way. There is even a huge difference between his last season performance and this one.

But of course it is still doubtful how long Stuttgart can move on like this. Despite Guirassy's incredible scoring effort I don't think they can be a part of a title competition this season. But maybe this high effort can help them to get a ticket for a European competition next season.

I think one day we might see Arteta starting to manage Manchester City. The reason why I think like this is Arteta's being one of Guardiola's students.

When the time is right Guardiola would decide to leave Manchester City. It would be early or not but he won't manage this team forever in the end.

At that time Manchester City will need to find a manager who can continue from where Guardiola left. They would make use of a manager who wouldn't need to make huge changes in the system as well. That man would definitely be Arteta in my opinion. After doing great things with Arsenal he can reach the top of his career with Manchester City in the future.
