For the recent six seasons we have only seen Manchester City and Liverpool as the champions. Liverpool did it only once though. Manchester United's domination in the past ended and Manchester City's started after a few seasons. This makes the league more boring to watch honestly. None of the teams should be able to turn this league into like a farmers league.

But joking aside of course it isn't related to him. He was doing his best before leaving. He scored even 30 goals in the previous season despite the horrible season his team had. Tottenham were lacking in team effort but now they have what they needed.

It is quite awkward to see Girona being top scorer in the league with 29 goals now. None of the top teams in the league is able to score more than them yet. Those teams are competing in the Champions League as well of course but still I don't think this can be an excuse. Of course there isn't such thing like the more you score the more likely you become the champions.

However I must still admit that this is very impressive statistics. Their defense is weaker than those teams considering the amount they conceded so far. But Girona are still managing it decently despite not having as strong defenders as those teams have. Apart from that defenders like Eric Garcia and Blind are still good quality ones for Girona though.

It looks like Leverkusen are going to play one of their most comfortable games in a few days.

It is a home game against Union Berlin. It is really unexpected to me to see Union Berlin performing very poorly this season. They have lost 8 games in a row so far which is horrible. Their manager Urs Fischer is still keeping his job interestingly.

I think this is just too much to give more chance to a manager who was successful in the previous season. I would already sack him if I were in the board's place. Anyway Leverkusen demolished them by 5-0 here in the previous season. I won't be surprised if a similar score is seen again.

PSG are returning to the Ligue 1 again with a disappointing result against Milan in the Champions League. Milan were unable to score a single goal until the game between them. But in this game they didn't just score 2 goals. They even beat PSG in San Siro. Grin

I don't know how many people expected PSG to lose but I wasn't confident about them to win honestly.

Now PSG are going to be hosted by Reims in the Ligue 1. Reims are currently one of the most impressive teams in the season. They are only 4 points away from PSG in the standings. Will Still has been doing a pretty good work with the team despite losing their top scorer Balogun after his loan spell ended. I think Reims will not lose this game.

Salernita is one of the worst club in serie a. Beating it could become an easy task for napoli. I don't think Rudi Garcia should get sacked. There is no reason for that now. In the end the previous season was a rare example for Napoli. They haven't had a season like this until winning the title after so many years. The fans shouldn't be too expectant to see the same performance two seasons in a row.

Rudi Garcia is just trying to keep this team in top 4 being as competitive as possible for the league title. For now Inter and Juventus are really unstoppable but the season is still long of course.

Girona have taken the lead from Real Madrid! Grin

It is really difficult to believe normally but it has happened. Girona are making this league even more exciting right now honestly. Despite leaving twelve weeks behind they still manage to be in the race for the league title. They aren't strong against big teams though.

However as long as they continue to win against low or mid-level opponents during the season they should be more than fine. They are already way above their target for this season. They make an impression like they can finish the season in top 4 for now.

Regardless of that, if they can win the Premier League, that would be great. Pep Guardiola and Manchester City has decided to turn the Premier League into farmers league LoL. Pep Guardiola already said they want to retain three trophies this season.

I think the Burnley we saw season didn't build capacity in the Premier League, they may be relegated on how poorly they've been declining in performance. Vincent Kompany has to keep his side in check, otherwise, he lose his job before they eventually get relegated.

I would really like to see Tottenham becoming the champions in the Premier League honestly. The last time they made it was in the 1960/61 season. They achieved two titles those times. It is a really long time and it would be incredible for the history of this team to win another title after all these years.

Guirassy is very sharp, he scored 14 goals this season in 8 games played. he is the second most productive striker this season after Kane. The absence of Guirassy on the front line made it very clear that Stuttgart had difficulty scoring goals even when they had lots of chances.
Stuttgart may have to add ammunition to their front line in the transfer market later. However, they cannot continue to depend on one player who can get tired and injured. but if there is an offer from another club that will pay him quite a lot, maybe it would be a mistake to let him go.

I also think that Stuttgart had better not let him go. But it wouldn't easy to do such thing for them. It is up to Guirassy's will to leave the team for bigger opportunities next summer. Because after he recovers he would continue to be monitored by bigger teams as long as he maintains this high effort at scoring goals.

Honestly I don't think Guirassy would like to stay when he has a good opportunity in hand. There is no reason to stay at a team like Stuttgart while you are really a skilled player. Because Stuttgart aren't a decent team normally.

It is really difficult for Napoli to keep up with Inter and Juventus these days. However I can't say the same thing when it comes to Milan. Because Milan's performance has been on the decline for a few weeks. First those two losses in big games and a very unexpected loss against Udinese in San Siro after. This is a huge downgrade.

Napoli have closen up the gap with them by 6 points in the meantime and they are only 1 point behind now. But I still can't trust Napoli very much either because they can also make very surprising point losses as well. Thankfully they didn't do so against Salernitana. Grin

Real Madrid were really disappointing last night. They were incredibly dominant against Vallecano by meeting the expectations. They had over 1.00 xG in both halves as well. But all that effort still couldn't bring about a single goal. Sad

I thought Bellingham would do his magic once again maybe just as he did against Barcelona and many more opponents.

I expected Joselu to be replaced by Rodrygo but he wasn't subbed off either. I don't why Ancelotti wanted to keep him in the game while he was the worst performing player on the pitch. I hoped to see Arda Guler being subbed in for at least 10 minutes but it didn't happen unfortunately.

They also make mistakes in unexpected games sometimes but they are rare times. Tottenham would need to take advantage of that by being very consistent.

I don't know whether sacking Erik ten Hag would be the solution for Manchester United. Because whoever came to manage the team the Red Devils still didn't last long when it comes to a good performance. The same thing is happening to Erik ten Hag as well. His first season was really impressive but now they are struggling.

I remember Alex Ferguson times which were really amazing ones. As long as they don't manage to have the same spirit as those times I won't be expectant from them much.

The same thing happened for the Fiorentina - Juventus game as well. I thought Juventus would win by 1-0 or 2-1 which is what happened. However I must admit one thing about this tough game for Juventus too.

Juventus were really terrible in this game. Fiorentina were very dominant in both halves. Especially in the first half I thought they would certainly score a goal but they couldn't. Instead Miretti scored a very early goal and somehow Juventus kept the score at 1-0 until the end. They are really one of the best teams when it comes to securing a score advantage.

Galatasaray got bad news about Muslera's injury. It is said that Muslera will be missing the first 6 games ahead. The Champions League games against Bayern Munich and Manchester United are also included in this. Their backup goalkeeper Gunay Guvenc isn't a credible goalkeeper compared to Muslera. Unlucky of him that his first game is even going to be against Bayern Munich.

Galatasaray really need Muslera in the remaining group games. Maybe it is very difficult to make difference against Bayern Munich in Germany. But he would definitely do so against the Red Devils. The fans will hope for Muslera not to miss that critical game at least.

Chelsea are in very poor condition and they still can't do anything about it. That terrible finishing against Brentford and the following loss is inexplicable and unacceptable. Yeah you have a point on it that Chelsea got at least one point from those big teams you mentioned. However I like Tottenham's game much more than those two in this season. Arsenal haven't been playing very well despite their position. Liverpool can also be disappointing sometimes just as they were today.

However Tottenham are completely different from those two teams. Ange Postecoglou has a great system working now therefore Chelsea have a much more difficult job to do compared to the Liverpool and Arsenal games.

It was mostly a boring race but indeed that was hell of a competition between Perez and Alonso in the last laps of the race.

Alonso defended him for a really long time but after Perez overtook him I thought that was it. However Alonso's retaliation was really amazing after that. He had a really hard time maintaining his place at the end of the race.

Because the drivers got past the finish line side by side. Alonso finished only 0.05 ahead of Perez. That was a really hard-fought podium.

Fiorentina - Juventus is going to be the last game today which is a really attracting one at the same time. Juventus are slightly favoured by bookmakers but the gap of odds is really too close. Juventus just couldn't beat Fiorentina in their last four head-to-head away games. Three of them ended up with a draw and the remaining one was a loss.

Considering that Fiorentina are also having a decent season it won't be an easy matchup at all. However Fiorentina have lost some pace recently by getting two losses in a row. Maybe Juventus can use the momentum coming from their winning streak to get a win by 1-0 or 2-1 to break this series between them.

I think it was a really lucky win for Barcelona last night. I didn't like their performance in the first half at all. Real Sociedad missed a big chance to score in that half. But after leaving this half behind Barcelona started to show some life signs. It was still very difficult for them to score that winning goal. Exactly the thing I expected happened as I thought it would be a win by one goal.

Lewandowski was ineffective as well that Xavi decided to get him off from the game quite early. But I can't say Pedri made difference either. However I don't want to go harsh on Pedri as this was his first game after a long-running injury.
