I love all the positive attitude in the community and all the self assurance we are giving each other... its great.

But ask your self... every one has an internal "loss" tolerance level... once you hit that let it be 10% 20% or even 70% once we hit that... you can't sleep you don't want to think about crypto you feel like by not looking at prices and value of ones portfolio the problem will go away but it won't and finally you decided "enough is enough" i just want out... and you panic sell everything because your emotional/logical tolerance has been reached and you just want your brain/heart to stop hurting "loss/pain threshold" remember in that moment... money loses its meaning and you just want the pain to stop. so what do you do ? you sell all... "thats the moment market decides to stop going down and turn around" and it will make higher high and you will never get a chance to get back in, never ever...

sadly you had a gut feeling that it was just a correction.

No you cannot combine 4 gpu to run as 1, it doesn't make it faster infact in distributed computing when you have multiple processors/cores/gpus acting as one they run slow [or depends on how fast they can share data between than... thats why supercomputers employ "infini band 10gb/s lanes to share data so they can run all the cores as 1 " but thats expensive proposition. your 4 gpus are on x1 connected with USB so lot of latency issue between them.

so it would be counterproductive.

I can give you 10 other reason why it won't be a good idea, but just do some basic search on how dagger hashimoto algorithm runs by creating DAG file and where it resides in GPU GDR5 ram

Man this is a joke when u sell a miner for $980 basically you are saying that we expect it to make $10-$15 in 40 days

Hey guys I have Asus Z270-AR and i use simpleOS NVOC (6 gtx 1070 and 2 GTX 1060 cards on the motherboard) they were working just fine.

I decided to upgrade the bios when i upgraded the Power supply.

I started getting the error"there is no screen attached matching miner"

I realized its due to bios upgrade the previous version was march 3/24/17 bios and i upgraded to the 1/2018 or the december one.

Important thing is once i roll'd back the BIOS to 3/24 it worked like a charm no issue whatsoever.

so please check your bios and try different ones if it was working in the past.

[funny thing is after bios update the windows would not recognize the onboard ethernet card] so after rolling back bios the ethernet port works just fine.

you can use a cmd line wallet to keep it locally.

Are there any plans for any other exchange listings? Bittrex and cryptopia would be nice, Please update. Exchange listing will make the price jump 10x

I mine whatever is most profitable being agnostic to specific coin helps.

great tips. thank you. I am on my 6th rig, perhaps on 7th i will build it that way. but spreading out gpus is  a good idea.

with 2 psu i was going for cheaper option total cost $170 vs $300+ for 1300watt gold.
