3481  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your opinion on Crypto.com's Earn and Binance's Savings? on: July 22, 2020, 04:13:41 PM
Savings in bitcoin doesn't really make that much sense to some people. I mean think about it, they are not here to make 2% profit yearly, they are here to make thousands of dollars very quickly and suddenly become rich. Obviously that is not going to happen but people in crypto world are not the same people who put their money into savings accounts most of the time, they are the people who buy shorts and longs and leveraged stuff they are the people who want to get out of this rat race very quickly so that they could have a good life before they retire and become too old to do anything.

This is exactly why I believe there should be some sort of informational place in bitcoin world where we teach people how bitcoin is not some get rich quick scheme and tell them what it really is all about.
3482  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Signal Trading work for Cryptocurrencies on: July 21, 2020, 11:13:47 PM
If you’re going to be looking for crypto signals make sure that you have enough money to be able to go for the paid signals and not those ones that they will be doing for free. If you’re going to be relying on those free crypto signal groups, trust me when I say those people don’t give an f lol. Since nobody is paying them for the job they are doing, they don’t care and won’t put much effort into the work they are doing. Why should they care when they are benefitting from it? Huh So I won’t blame them.

90% of the times you’re going to be getting wrong signals, that’s if it is not 100% of the times. So I will advise you go for the paid signals, and be careful the ones you go for, some of them are scammers.
3483  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any way to out of this insecurity? on: July 21, 2020, 10:20:17 PM
As long as the crypto exchange will remain in the internet hackers will try to hack them. And they become successful sometimes for the poor security. If we don't make secure ourself we continuously will victims of these hacks. So what should we do. Use always most trusted/secured exchanges. Again don't hold your capital in any exchange. Exchange only for trading not for holdings your money. So avoid doing it and always hold your capital in an external wallet.
I think a small 2-step verification can solve most of the problems and hacking will be almost neglected because like Binance asks you to verify code every time you make a withdraw so that enables either the hack to have access to your mobile or you are tricked into sending the hack the OTP via a phishing site which is not as easy as it is easy without the OTP.

Most of the exchanges have implemented and actually made mandatory to have a 2FA enabled which sometimes sounds irritating but is the need of the time we are in and since crypto can't be tracked so you cannot do anything once you have been stolen.
3484  Economy / Economics / Re: The unfortunate event that is Quarantine. on: July 21, 2020, 09:07:33 PM
There are a lot of people today who are having a good time because they are in the house only and having a lot of supplies and stocks so they don't need to get out and some of them already have an enjoyable time with Netflix and chill.
Yes for people who are rich they are loving quarantine because they have enough in their banks and cash to live years without any problem and they can sip juice and watch movies all day without dropping a sweat.

Still, there are some people who are having a struggle because of this pandemic some of them does not have enough money and funds just to survive this outbreak and some of them does not have enough job because some of them are businesses don't want to open those jobs because they don't want to spread the virus on them.
Yes, the middle-class and lower middle-class are hit the hardest by this situation because these are those people who have to migrate out for work and they only earn as long as they work and usually they do not have their own house and absolutely no savings so they are in a pickle and don't know how to respond and that is where the local governments need to feed their people and lift the lower economic classes.
3485  Economy / Economics / Re: Very strange most people like to buy with bitcoin , but using altcoins very few on: July 21, 2020, 08:35:46 PM
Very strange thing i noticed: most people like to buy with bitcoin , but using altcoins very few

I think all clients i had from bitcointalk prefer to use bitcoin to buy services / products they needed ...

Not a single client that i had until now used altcoins like ethereum ,litecoin etc or tokens like usdt, usdc ....

Why do you think people don't like to use altcoins to buy things on the internet ?
What is strange about this you have said? Bitcoin was created first, every newbie that joins this community 90% of the time buys Bitcoin before considering other cryptocurrencies, so what makes you think it is strange that they are making use of Bitcoin instead of other cryptocurrencies for transactions?

Yes, there are other cryptocurrencies that are trying to compete and some of them claims to have better technology than bitcoin, but Bitcoin has been through so many tests, and it’s still going strong even at this time. The thing is, Bitcoin has gotten the most trust than any other cryptocurrency.
3486  Economy / Economics / Re: Government+cryptocurrencies on: July 21, 2020, 08:00:05 PM
We all love cryptocurrency, and I know you’re saying this that cryptocurrency can help the economy because of the love you have for it, but man you’re wrong. Even if you should wake up tomorrow and your government decides that your country going all crypto, your economy won’t skyrocket and become the best in the world as long as you all continue doing things in the wrong way.

The problem is with the government and the people , if the people will rise up for what’s right and fight for their right and have their leaders do the right thing and fight corruption, trust me the country will get better. So don’t be one of those who act like cryptocurrency is the Messiah that will change things for good.
3487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solution to too many promoters on: July 21, 2020, 07:28:12 PM
Bounty managers do not care about the number, they are just doing their job so there is no way that this could be done thanks to bounty managers, they could only follow orders. When we are talking about the team, why would they pay a lot more money to just few people versus paying small amount for thousands of people?

In the end the result is paying the same amount for them but in one of them they are getting a lot of people while in the other they are getting only few. Sure they could consider quality over quantity but they are not the bounty manager, they don't know who will be picked and they are not sure about the quality, so instead of picking not so sure quality, they pick guaranteed quantity and that way they are making as much profit from it as they can with a lot of people promoting them.
3488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be fooled on: July 21, 2020, 06:20:14 PM

Coronavirus is the reason why market is in very bad shape, it will be very stupid to exit because of this while others are making good choice presently, many are already saying it's the end for crypto but the fact is Bitcoin died several times in the past and it's still alive today, do not be fooled by those who don't understand the technology

I don’t let other people’s opinion affect my decisions when I know for sure that I’m doing the right thing. People will say a lot of things and plant fear in you and if you let that cripple you, you will end up with wrong choices and miss good opportunities. Of course I do sell my coins, but that’s when I’m in need of it, not when people tell me to do it.

not everyone can invest in this difficult time, but when the economy will improve, it will be a very big change.
some people might think more about how to survive first.

Yea, some people are avoiding investment because they are afraid that things might get worse and it would be a time when the market might even get bad and they will lose their money.
3489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DO NOT TRUST TO TETHER on: July 20, 2020, 10:18:52 PM
Tether getting bigger every day but it doesnt mean you can trust them.
Im not gonna say tether developers are scammer but tether could be fall very hard by Central bank mafia, Money Landing is a good Excuse for Central Bank to freeze tether money account.
You’re not the first person that has pointed finger at Tether, I have seen so many complain about whether tether can really be trusted and some of them have said that it is not fully backed by the US dollar. There was an article that was posted on Coin Rivet, and according to the editor, the Tether is not fully backed by the USD, only about 70% of it is backed by the USD. I don’t know about other stablecoins, they might be the same thing, that’s if this is true about Tether. Although PAX seems to be something different.
3490  Economy / Gambling / Re: #3 Bitcointalk Poker Series (0.05 BTC & BIG BTC Ticket sponsored by SwC Poker) on: July 20, 2020, 09:37:55 PM
Looks like you guys are going strong again once more, I really want to be with you guys but I am quite afraid of it unfortunately, it is a good amount of money to join to begin with, it is not free but even at free option (and that is a big IF) I wouldn't have the courage.

How do you guys feel when someone just destroys you and you get out very early? I get the people who go all in right away from the start so that they could start with more chips and have an advantage or just leave early, but I am not one of them, if I am just actually playing and doing my best and lose at the very first table, I would feel very very horrible about it hence why I couldn't get in. Kudos to winners so far, I would bet on bitmutiny to win after this, half is already over and dude is way ahead of everyone else Cheesy.
3491  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲EarnBet.io - $50 FREE Bitcoin Sign Up Bonus Right Now! 🎲Provably Fair 🎲BTC ₿ on: July 20, 2020, 08:08:32 PM
One logical solution to one asset problem would be to give out in their own token?
It's possible, but the system needs to convert all altcoins dividends into BET, and that could be adding more problems since the BET token price fluctuates. Some could protest that the rate isn't fair etc.

Anyways, the site only has five games for quite some time now. They should add more games, preferably slots, since it historically yields most of the casinos' profits.
I believe Binance has been making traders to use BNB as much as possible and that is why BNB price never goes low, there is a reason why those people make so much money because they focus on not making money just any way possible but they focus on making money with the money they created.

I would say if people gamble and lose bitcoin and other altcoins, team should make a system that would turn that into bet token via buying it from the market, when they do that they would basically increase the price as well. I find it working for everyone involved, who loses in this situation? The investor earns, the team earns, the price goes up, everything seems to be great.

I would be shocked to see if anyone would go against it, after all if its bitcoin you want, all you need to do is sell your BET token to bitcoin.
3492  Economy / Gambling / Re: WOLF.BET - $500 Daily Race! 30% Rakeback! DICE with the best autobet mode on: July 20, 2020, 01:32:58 PM
Good explanation though many still doesn't want to do the 2FA since it's bit time eater for someone, But before I used not to like this feature but when hacking strikes I always make sure this thing set up on my account so maybe its good that all players will put it for safety and I'm sure wolfbet see this one that's why they implement the 2FA. But in anycase maybe its best that they explain it to their users so they could fully understand the new implementation.
Inputting a couple of numbers for the 2FA or confirming an email which is also a type of 2FA isn't time-consuming for me. People that think it's a time-consuming thing, they have to rethink. It conducts to give additional security and if those times come, the one that you have mentioned such as hacks, you are safe. Well, they have a say with it. It's for the faucet which they think is inappropriate but, there's no problem if it's during the withdrawal.
Yes, you do not need to spend that tiny amount of time when you are logging in with picking up your phone, opening up, clicking 2fa, seeing what the numbers are and writing it on the computer. That is probably around 30 seconds, probably not that much. What do you get in return? You are getting 100x better security that will make sure that you will never be hacked unless something major leaks out or you get your phone copied or something.

So yes, it is 30 seconds more each time you login (just stay logged in?) and considering how much advantages it provides, and how easy it is nowadays for hackers to hack stuff, I would say that it totally worths it if you ask me. Of course that is your own decision, if you want your account to be more vulnerable, don't do it.
3493  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Lesson: Stop loss Strategies on: July 20, 2020, 05:01:47 AM
Honestly trading is not suitable for the traders who are ignoring the basics of risk management. We cannot do anything about such people who are ignoring to make use of stoploss strategy and then leaving off crypto trading completely.
No, we can do something for them and that is the core reason whey we are having this community and we are all contributing to this types of discussions out of our energy and time. I mean will do our level best for enlightening them about the important aspects of trading and the rest is up to individual's perception and preferences. When we keep having this kind of trading lessons that will definitely help one or other trader who is really struggling due to lack of knowledge.

I am sure that when traders are taking time to find useful discussions here and going through different forum member's sharing about their experiences on trading and ideas about different strategies then that will be more helpful on building them into pro grade like trader over the time. I have been doing that for years and I am a small level trader with consistent profit making records.

@OP
Thanks a lot for sharing this trading lesson on stoploss strategies. Very useful for all active traders to make them more efficient even they are familiar or making use of stoploss for years. Honestly I look for more such trading lessons on different trading aspects in coming days. Good luck mate! Smiley
3494  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Those that hate risks! on: July 19, 2020, 09:00:13 PM
I do not understand why we are being harsh towards people who do not like risks? I mean there are riskless stuff in the trade world that you can do that would help you out and still allow you to be a trader. For example if you have some stop loss, some support points and resistance points ready with sell orders and buy orders, I am pretty sure that you could make a trade on bitcoin constantly. Of course, you could make a change but at the same time that doesn't mean that it will be suddenly too risky or less risky.

So, what I am trying to say here is that people who hate risk could still be involved with bitcoin trading, even if you do not want to do a day trade, just buy it and keep it and do not sell it until it is 20% profit and that is trading all the same even though it would be considered mostly investment.
3495  Economy / Gambling / Re: #1 RATINGS of BITCOIN SPORTSBOOKS : poster book discussion on: July 18, 2020, 09:06:10 PM
For a while, Peeps had a non existing book graded A, so I wouldnt read that much into his ratings. (I had to point it out to him.)
His thread is the oldest but also the most outdated.
There are, clearly better options then Betcoin and Nitrogen to choose from.

He uses the "Sportsbet accepts fiat currencies" excuse anytime people question why there is no Sportsbet on his ratings.
Im just curious if Sportsbet accepts fiat currencies, why were they on his list to begin with?   Huh
Thats a big red flag on his ratings if you ask me.

[im g]https://i.imgur.com/981e9Qi.jpg[/img]
I wouldn't really consider it that bad, I mean sure it looks a bit outdated with nitrogen being higher but he just doesn't want to rank them according to his own thinking and depending on what people are saying. So, do you see anyone here trying to work for the ranking? Not like there are hundreds of people constantly voting for the websites.

I would say the best way to do this for peeps would be to open a website of sorts that has a weekly contest on who is the best sportsbook and that way we could have winners of each week and the top three on the website constantly promoting themselves thanks to getting votes.

However this method of asking people on the forum to post what they think about the sportsbooks are not getting too much attention and that is why he can't change it.
3496  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: July 17, 2020, 09:17:45 PM
Idk, guys, I think since it's a free roll it would be fair to require some rollover, but if there is no such requirement ... well, that's a generous move on the part of FortuneJack.

Sometimes I think, if only all people in the world knew about the opportunity to win 1 BTC while risking absolutely nothing, how many participants would be there? Millions? Tens of millions? More?

Can we find 1 million people who know how to use Bitcoin and who know about football and for whom it would be legal and easy to open a FJ account, and also willing to do KYC should they be asked? Probably not, but yeah of course, there are so many opportunities to win free things and you'd think a lot more people would join but it's all a question of value and perceived likelihood. I don't play free games for sports/games I know nothing about unless it happens to be on my platform and a few clicks away =)

Are you seriously asking them to give a rollover requirement? Haha =D

One day 1 million people will use bitcoin and all the football fans who like to gamble as well, will make an account on the best site, Fortune Jack and bet on it. This is not impossible to happen but will they all be willing to perform KYC, I have doubt on it. If KYC requirement is removed, many more people can join the online gambling and betting sites.
I think if tens of millions of people shown how they can do it, they would do it. We are talking about going for 7/7 on a free guessing game that pays 9 thousand dollars, that is a lot of money for something free. If you are telling me that people don't even do it as fortunejack players that is probably because they are not aware of the situation very well. Hell even if you have no idea about football, just go there and click on some random names (even picking goalkeeper along the way) and you can't lose anything, it is free and it is every week.

So ,I agree that if it is something that tens of millions of people or basically all people in the world were aware of and shown how it could be done, everyone would do it, there isn't anything else where you can put in free and you still get out 1 bitcoin from it.
3497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How the wallet is hacked, what should I do? on: July 17, 2020, 06:07:16 AM
First you have to make sure that you’re making use of the best cryptocurrency wallet that is created by a team that takes their work seriously, I’m saying this for those that choose to make use of exchange wallets like Coinbase, because exchanges can be compromised and their users will be affected.

Then if you’re the type of person that wants to be making use of wallets where you’re fully in control, wallets that stores your keys on your system offline, then you have to apply some serious measures and be careful with how you use your computer and follow the steps that the op has listed in his post.
3498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we invest in a bitcoin exchange? on: July 16, 2020, 03:12:31 PM
After many years of trading, I realized that I should have my own bitcoin exchange. With a volatile bitcoin market investing in a bitcoin exchange is really beneficial. I need more sincere advice? After consulting a number of suppliers. Only $ 10,000 for a bitcoin exchange. Details:bitcoin exchange source code . With such an amount, should an bitcoin exchange be invested?
Lol, so you’re one of those that thinks that running a cryptocurrency exchange is easy Roll Eyes.
Don’t get yourself involved in what you can’t do. And you seeking for all these people offering source codes?
I think you should relax, spend some time and gain in-depth knowledge on cryptocurrency exchange and how the Business works.

Even if the link you left here is legit, it just doesn’t end with paying $10,000 and then all of a sudden the whole world is trading on your exchange and you’re making money just yourself, lol. It doesn’t work that way.
