3561  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BITCOIN MAGAZINE ARRIVED! on: July 02, 2012, 11:33:10 PM
It appears we're only waiting on 2 or so countries now to finally get their pre-orders.

I hope it's not one of these problems holding us up:

When you need 1 month and a half to get stuff delivered which was PRE-ORDERED 6 months in advance you know you have a problem.

Bitcoin Magazine is a fail, sorry to be the one to break the bad news to you...

Vandroyi, 2 words for you: STFU or GTFO.

I know for a fact that Pirate has been refusing new accounts, and I talk about accounts who would give him thousands of BTC to earn if his plan was to just run away with it.
3 days ago I got one of the persons I referred asking me why would'n Pirate accept him/respond to him.
Does that really fit with the story of the link you posted?

You're just a jealous son of a bitch, so do us all a favour and just GTFO...
3563  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whitelist Requests (Want out of here?) on: July 02, 2012, 07:51:48 PM
May I be whitelisted so that I can engage in meaningful conversation outside the playpen?

My answer above on the post above yours also applies to you.
3564  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is theymos messin' 'round again fixin' things ain't broke? on: July 02, 2012, 06:33:02 PM
You guys can laugh all you want, but I want my spinning skull back!

~Bruno~

The thing is, Bruno, that was made that way to avoid non-ssl links on the hotlinked avatars, to avoid freaking out users because some lame browsers **cough**chrome**cough** show a red cross on the ssl bar when there are non-ssl elements on the page.
You can see that happening right now on this page because you hotlinked the gif on the first post using a non-ssl link Tongue
When your gif gets uploaded to the forum as an attachment it is converted into a png, so there goes the animation.

3570  Other / Off-topic / Re: The mysterious 0.031337 BTC transactions on: July 02, 2012, 05:34:23 PM
It's a communication occuring in the blockchain for bot and master or hacker and colluding party which provides commands for direction or execution. If they change the wording of their communication, good luck finding them again.

Now that you say it I have the killer application where to use Bitcoin and the blockchain.
Botnet C&C. Passing botnet commands trough IRC and Twitter is so last century when compared to passing those same commands using Bitcoin transactions.

Now I just hope no real bot herder reads this and decides to implement it. I will want a cut of the profits lol
3571  Other / Off-topic / Re: Random stuff I've noticed in the forums... on: July 02, 2012, 01:13:39 PM
WTH... leet?  Shocked I figure that's what happens when theymos messes with the templating engine while drunk lol
It's always been there, and only shows when someone has 1337 posts.

I never saw it because I don't use that forum theme and it only shows there.

3574  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: TheBitMint - Buy Bitcoins With PayPal on: July 02, 2012, 12:20:44 PM
redrobin, I'm not defending him. And I'm finding rather disturbing the fact that he doesn't want to get help from his parents. Even more disturbing is what he said about complainting to the police if anyone emailed him  Undecided

What I meant was if I sold some BTC to someone and they paid using Paypal I would certainly not do a 2nd transaction with them as soon as I spotted the Unverified part on the tansaction details as I'm well aware of the limits on payments sent and received imposed on Unverified accounts and also because the name of the person can be completely fake and if they screw me I may not see a single cent back.

And I still can't understand how was it that you were surprised that his account was Unverified when all of you had access to that information. (Re-reading the thread it was BurtW who mentioned not knowing his account was Unverified, but I wasn't mentioning you specifically, redrobin)

3575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 6.66 Mark of the Beast!! ZOMG!!! on: July 02, 2012, 12:14:41 PM
Christian believers, you have a choice: either defend the story of this man's being killed by having an angry mob of barbarians pelt him with rocks as being the holy justice mandated by a fair and just god of perfect love,...
or join the rest of the world in rejecting any deity's involvement in the story as a piece of insane fiction dreamt up by savage people hoping to convince somebody that their barbaric cruelty was mandated by a holy and unquestionable moral authority. It wasn't: it was fucking sick, AND YOU KNOW IT.
The bible is bullshit. Look elsewhere for perfect love.

I recommend everyone watch my friend's videos on youtube, NonStampCollector. They're all drawn in MSPaint to equal the amount of effort it takes to make up bullshit stories in the bible.

http://www.youtube.com/user/NonStampCollector?feature=watch

Great stuff there. Completely bookmarked!
3576  Economy / Speculation / Re: I just made a chart on: July 02, 2012, 11:57:07 AM

Stop being lazy and go get one of these.  Sheesh.

That wouldn't solve my problem as I use the Blackbox theme, which is a fixed width theme Wink

Also, I despise desktop computers as they consume too much electricity. I only have laptops.
The closest I have to a desktop are the servers, but those are hosted at datacenters lol
3577  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: TheBitMint - Buy Bitcoins With PayPal on: July 02, 2012, 11:50:10 AM
And TheBitMan, I hope you can solve all this. Isn't one of the perks of Bitcoin no age restrictions? Paypal might have been a bad idea on your part though, I must admit. Tongue

Paypal was only a bad idea because he didn't even have a verified account.

And BTW, none of you noticed on the Transaction details that his account was unverified?
It's there, in bold letters (The sender of this payment is U.S. - Unverified), right in front of his email address, so I don't understand all of you acting surprised when he said he was unverified.
3578  Economy / Speculation / Re: I just made a chart on: July 02, 2012, 11:34:23 AM

I can see it so much better now, without the damn scroll bar and with a link to the full size image Roll Eyes
3579  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I really need some desperate help so please read. SLL on: July 02, 2012, 11:27:14 AM
I don't get it. Just sell your SLL at virwox if you want to convert to bitcoins.

I think they won't let you sell SLL for Bitcoin for 30 days if you don't have a trusted/aged Second Life account.
Oh, okay. I never played that game so I don't know this.  Embarrassed

sc00bysnax, try editing your post to say : (WTS) SLL for BTC
It's hard to comprehend that block of words.

I also don't waste my time in furryland lol
I think I read that on the Virwox site or here on the forums, can't remember.
