361  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has Bitcoin started its uplift ?? on: June 06, 2018, 07:07:37 AM
We're actually kind of on a stale market right now. It sucks but we'd have to push through. Hopefully the market would gain enough momentum to change the trend. I like stability but when its too much the market just gets boring.
362  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we ever see 20k+ again? on: June 06, 2018, 06:55:27 AM
Give it time. The next halving might not be enough to push it sustainably beyond $20k but imagine when the next 2 halving seasons come. BTC's gonna be so scarce it's price would be really really high.
363  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bull run of BTC start soon? on: June 06, 2018, 06:47:33 AM
I honestly don't expect a bull run just yet this year, might be too early. One thing we're kind of positive though is that it'll come by for the next halving season, happening in 2020. Just stock up for that, because at least by the next halving there's a reason for the market to breach the all-time highs.
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have 69 ETH, What to do? on: June 06, 2018, 02:07:44 AM
I'd say make your portfolio about 50% ETH, 50% tokens. It'll maximize your profits when the bull market comes, which I'd expect would be soon.  Smiley
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you think Eth will break $2,000? on: May 30, 2018, 09:57:18 AM
Probably mid-next year. Interestingly, ETH runs coincide with significant BTCBTCBTC runs, so I think we'd expect ETH to reach new ATHs also come btc's next halving.
366  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC again Fall down at 7k?! on: May 23, 2018, 05:48:48 AM
as of this writing, btc is at $7,885... perhaps all the news about electricity costs of btc mining and how that affects the environment is influencing sell offs. that and news regarding regulations, and more trash talk aimed at bitcoin is weighing the price down i think

It's more of the news IMO. More stricter regulations are coming into place, which might mean losing investor confidence in the short term.
367  Economy / Speculation / Re: The reason why we should invest in Bitcoin Or Ethereum ? on: May 23, 2018, 05:23:09 AM
i honestly don't understand why people keep on advertising ethereum as an alternative investment to bitcoin! it is worse if you look at the charts. for example today bitcoin dropped about 4% while ethereum had another dump of about 7%! and it has always been like this. the rises are the same too. bitcoin rises more than ethereum and that is not even considering all the fundamental flaws with ETH which makes it a much riskier investment than bitcoin.

I'd say it's because bitcoin as crypto is already pretty much mature, but ETH still has a lot of improvement potential and they're well underway. ETH's developing its own niche so it'll pretty much make its own demand. The potential is there.
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest wisely on: May 16, 2018, 02:36:00 PM
For me personally, all these ratings on thematic sites don't carry any useful information. You should always check by yourself all the necessary information about the company you invest in.

I do look at them when I see an interesting ICO, before reading the whitepaper. At least it gives you a general idea what the ICO is about and what it's capable of. Plus, I'm never familiar with the names they put forward in the 'about us' section of their pages hence it's pretty helpful.
369  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why choose LONG-TERM TRADING? on: May 16, 2018, 02:33:49 PM
I choose long term trading because it is the most easiest way to earn profit, Unlike daily trading which is stressful to do because you need to monitor the price fluctuation consistently. And in the same way, I have more time for my family and other extra curricular activities for the day.

It's actually not that easy. I do check my portfolio everyday still and it still bums me out whenever I see a loss. Although, I know that the loss is just temporary.

At least with holding I get to work on other stuff. Active trading is really nerve wrecking and it just takes your time away.
370  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will never reach 20,000 again on: May 16, 2018, 02:10:09 PM
Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian has predicted that Bitcoin could reach its all-time high price of $20,000 again before the year ends. This is similar to the thoughts of Tim Draper, cryptocurrency enthusiast and popular venture capitalist who perhaps made the biggest call so far.

The thing is these are crypto enthusiasts, of course they'll have a really high outlook, it's in their interest to spread the positivity. IMO after this current bearish trend is likely to last, maybe late into next year. Afterwards, we're gonna see another bull run just about the next halving season.
371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Winner of this year, ETH or BTC? on: May 16, 2018, 01:51:48 PM
ETH's time's gonna come, and soon. I've always thought it still hasn't reached it's true all time high yet, and that's what we're gonna look at this 2018. The demand is there, the infrastructure is there, and the tech is working good. It just needs a major push for it to have a record bull run again.
372  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learnings from crash on: May 16, 2018, 01:19:22 PM
I think that every crash teaches something and each person learns something for himself or herself. The main thing to learn is that it is necessary to be very careful with investments and always think hard before doing some operations which involve risks

and if we can learn from our mistake, we can prevent to make the same mistake in the future and besides that, we can increase our skills so we can reach our goals. everyone making a mistake and learning from the crash but the point is how we could still survive the crash and how we can rise again so we can do better in the future.

In due time you'll realize that the market always crashes, in the same way that it'll always rise, and you should take advantage of that. I've always believed that experience is the best teacher.
373  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC/USD dangerously close to $8,000, but HODLers never give up on: May 16, 2018, 01:12:44 PM
Bitcoin is still by far the biggest coin out there with the market cap $139.6B, but its market dominance has shrunk significantly from over 85% in February to just 37%.
It is normal for it to lose dominance now that knowledge about crypto have become widespread. People now are trying many different alts(and buying them up), then holding them with the hopes of earning more bitcoin and thus is the reason why we shouldn't be scared about it.
And we also should only invest what we can afford to lose right?
You are right. Those who will be scared will not see the true reason why BTC is losing dominance temporarily(because of many investors holding alts with the hopes of earning more btc).

I think it's just because people are diversifying more, knowing that crypto isn't entirely just about BTCBTCBTC, even if the majority of coins/tokens have their values tied up to bitcoin.

Well honestly at this point, it's kinda advisable to hold other tokens/coins with their own markets (not entirely tied to btc) rather than keeping your portfolio on solid BTCBTCBTC. Better safe than sorry.
374  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't lose your faith in BTC. on: May 16, 2018, 12:00:53 PM
Just focus on the long term people, the next halving is coming by 2020, your goal should be to accumulate as many coins as you can before that, because we are pretty positive that there's gonna be a bull run by this time, maybe a new all time high even.
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google banning crupto ads on: May 16, 2018, 11:53:32 AM
I've read from a credible source that Bing started to ban ads related to crypto too, I guess that means no more search ads related to ICOs anywhere. What do you guys think?
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in Ethereum on: May 16, 2018, 10:32:41 AM
Ethereum is not the cryptocurrency that needs to be bought and stored in huge amounts for a rainy day. Although, if you correctly catch the moment of fluctuations in the rate, in a short time you can go to quite a decent profit. Conditionally, bought Ethereum for $ 100, and a couple of months sold for 400. Moreover, the level of Ethereum capitalization is increasing, its price is growing by leaps and bounds, so the purchase of this crypto currency today is a far – sighted and quite promising solution.

It's pretty much the safest of all tokens and crypto in terms of long term holding, IMO, even better than BTCBTCBTC in some aspects. There's still much development on the sideline going on, and the demand won't seem to falter in the coming years.
377  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoint to $1,800 USD by end of 2018 on: May 16, 2018, 09:23:13 AM
That's something that is way far from my imagination and not even close to reality. Bitcoin has fallen about 3 times this year but it never fall down 5K$ and below and now, bitcoin has risen to more than 3K$ since it got its lowest price at 6K$.

In all honesty I think it wouldn't ever touch sub-$3k anymore. Not unless a major security flaw is discovered or another big, established exchange gets hacked and falls, think about CoinBase, if they ever succumb to a hacking incident there's gonna be major trust issues on BTCBTCBTC.
378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in ICO on: May 16, 2018, 06:28:33 AM
I'm not very good at how to choose ICO, but it seems to me that this project is promising and can become successful.
You just have to read a white paper, maybe communicate with a team, check their history and of course product.

You just gotta read a lot and trust your gut. Experience has to be the best teacher in this space. The more you learn, the better your profit potential is.
379  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can drop again 7K zone. on: May 14, 2018, 05:32:47 AM
I think that's impossible, investor confidence in bitcoin has returned. they will not sell the bitcoin they have at a cheap price.

Not so much I believe. There's still a lot of mainstream news networks taking a poke at BTCBTCBTC and it being a 'bad' investment. It's gonna take its toll.
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth Worth $30. Is it possible? on: May 09, 2018, 03:14:53 PM
Probably not possible.  If it went down to that low it would be for a fraction of a second as there are thousands upon thousands of people who probably already have buy orders set all the way down in case it drops at all.  Extremely unlikely without some sort of human error somewhere.

It's possible if an exchange f*cks up.

@ontopic   Worst case scenario for that low of a price to happen is if they discover a major irreversible security flaw, which is very much unlikely I believe.
