Question:   Which team get the win first?
Philadelphia Sixers   - 6 (60%)
New Orleans Pelicans   - 4 (40%)
Total Voters: 10

Philly is still 0-7 but New Orleans Pelicans got their first win against Milwaukee Bucks. They break 8 match lose series after this win. Anthony Davis is playing like a one man show.

Seems to me he's a wasted talent there actually.

bad night for Curry and Golden State.
Golden State has been lost with a gap of 20 points against the Lakers.
Curry with 0-for-10 on 3's; streak ends at 157 games.

Normal Curry is back, after we have seen his unbelievable 2 seasons, he is back to normal player.  Grin

Maybe it's just a bad night for him. Every player has that.

And for GSW, it's probably just a rough start. Remember the CAVs back then? they we're a mess to start the season too. It's gonna take a while before they're gonna be comfortable playing.

A signup bonus would be a good way to start.  Grin

Or bonuses for beta players.  Grin

Basing from experience, you're always gonna pay a lot higher if you wanna buy through PP. Just go for the conventional methods for buying, it's a lot better.

In case of situation in which participant won't reach the required minimum - participant wont get paid and next stage is always starting from null post count for all participants.

Can you clear this out? Does this mean that all payments for the posts that weren't paid (less than 50) for the past stage will not get carried over the next stage?

It is clearly stated that if you didn't meet minimum post of the round, it will not be carried on next stage because the beginning of each stage is always start on 0 count. So it woll not be paid.  Smiley

Well as far as I know way back then the payments were carried over. So even if you didn't meet the minimum you still get paid for your posts. I didn't notice the rules have changed.

IMO the best one would be a service that allows us to buy anything from a store that doesn't accept BTCBTCBTC using bitcoin.

I can't believe the Rockets/Dallas game goes under.. I can't really believe as I am in the middle of celebrating because in the first half they have a good scoring for a combined of 116 points and it happened in 2nd half of the game they only manage to score 69 points.

What can I say, "NBA WHERE AMAZING HAPPENS". Angry

That's how it is, they get tired and defense goes tighter the second half. I had a bet for a HOU win so I'm happy.  Smiley
Talk about being tired, Russell Westrbrook doesn't seem to be feeling any fatigue right now. Two triple doubles in the first three games of the season is just crazy. And they have won all those games with monstrous performance by RW. The tough test would still be the GSW game this Thursday and you can bet that Westbrook will have another game to remember.
That guy is a machine, he is way better than Durant obviously as he can play all around. I think my bet for MVP this season for westbrook will be having a good future. LOL...

I also believe he will be the  scoring champ as well. This guys should be a hall of famer someday.

Still too early to tell that, if he can hold that kind of game for a month then he's gotten real good. It just seems to me WestBrook doesn't have a teammate that can score good numbers, or he's being a ball hog. Either way it's not pleasant.

Zcash seems to be the talk of the town nowadays, you can take a look at it if you're open.
1351  Other / Off-topic / Re: Should I convert my savings into Bitcoin? on: October 29, 2016, 02:21:18 AM
Some people are blinded by old system. Where they are promised to gain interest rates just by putting their money in a bank deposit.
It was totally safe bet - they always gained small profit - but real life investing is not that simple - you can lose if you mess up.
Skeptics still can say that depositing money in a bank account is safer - but gaining 2% from it, is really worth it? When you can earn much more with BTC?

Actually you're just storing your money by keeping it in the bank. The interests are useless, and you're better off going for a more legitimate investment instrument.

Time again for trade rumors.

Im watching these trade rumors right now and let's see what will happen:

LaMarcus Aldridge to Atlanta Hawks? (Looks like this time, we can't see a twin towers in San Antonio Spurs)
Paul Millsap to San Antonio Spurs?
DeMarcus Cousins to Golden State Warriors or Cleveland Cavaliers with Kevin Love, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green? Shocked

I posted here back then that Klay Thompson is always on the trade options. This is gonna be surprising.

What is more surprising is when we see Klay Thompson traded in the cavaliers, then if that happens I will more confident about the future of the cavaliers.. The warriors will not even make it to the playoffs as in my own opinion it would be Durant and Curry tandem which is for me the westbrook and durant is a better one.

Klay to the Cavs? Pretty much unlikely if you ask me. It's a bad trade for GSW in mostly.
1353  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull trend: better to hold or trade? on: October 21, 2016, 10:08:37 AM
I hold some and trade some. I try not to sell all of my bitcoin. I also try to get more than 1% per trade although I make small trades. I can see where taking a lower percentage can allow you to make more trades.
same as me. Leih I love doing both, because after getting the benefits of trading, I hold the coin, because I believe bitcoin prices would go up. in addition, trading is one of the ways that I use to get bitcoin, and hold is one way for me to make more money

What kind of trading do you do? With fiat or with alts? I've tried both, but which do you think could perform better?
1354  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why are we stuck in the $600 range for so long? on: October 20, 2016, 05:20:29 PM
Rome wasn't build in one day. If we stay at that price for a year more or two, I'll be very satisfied of it. I'm now in an accumulation phase.

A year or two? that's too long IMO.

@ontopic, if you look at it in terms of price stability, you'd be very happy.

Kris Dunn got a lot of praise from the Nba GMs last night as majority of them voted him to win Rookie of the Year. But I don't know why Thibs still don't want to make the Rubio trade and he said Kris is expected to start after 20 games. Dunn might be a good and athletic player in my opinion he is better than Ingram at every aspect. Trading Rubio for a reliable SG moght make Wolves a contender in the West hopefully.
Rubio is valuable player for them as he was developed in minnesota as a player, if you will just know what Rubio can bring in the floor, you will understand why he is valuable also, they need Rubio for crucial time as Rubio is good on that, there was no problem with the players last season but more on the coaching.

As I said before, its just a matter of time that he will be traded. There is always a rumor that he will be traded. It is also a good startegy for the Minnesota if they traded Rubio now.

There are rumors, although as far as I know their gameplan is not for the current season. All their trades and deals will be centered on helping KAT become the name of the franchise.
1356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: October 19, 2016, 05:26:44 PM
Do you think Golden State Warriors can break their previous season record of 73 wins? They are even stronger this year with Kevin Durant joining them and their odds of winning the finals is less than Evens. The sportsbooks think that the Warriors have a very high chance of winning this year.
I know everyone are thinking that they can beat their old record as they are a better team now with KD in the house, but I have a different prediction, I believe they will not make it, because they are more vulnerable now as teams have already figure out their method and that was proven when they were beaten by the cavaliers in the Finals.

I think they will not break their own record this season even if the addition of Kevin Durant. To get a 70 win record is really hard for any team, last year record was a very rare to see.

In basketball anything is possible so i have fait that they will try at least over 60 is good result to think that they will do this at least

The goal is obviously to exceed what their previous record was. 74+ wins this coming season.

Old news, still nothing new heard from them but would love to see some more actions from companies like NetFlix.

I hope this will happen. Imagine the price of bitcoin, if bitcoin will use as global currency, the price will be skies the limit. That is why I'm investing more in bitcoin right now.

Well IMO the price won't be much affected.
1359  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think guys the hack bitcoin from bitfinex still not sold? on: October 16, 2016, 10:51:46 AM
to i think the bitcoins that were stolen from bitfinex exchange well already be sold as the hackers must try their best to make clear their position as soon as possible.
but i think it may not yet be sold and the reason is that the hacker may want to remain calm for some time so as people may stop thinking about that after that they can easily sell it.

If you think about it, it may be those hackers that keeps the price rising so they can dump everything they've got on us.

Sorry to hear about this. This was a decent idea but I guess competition in this field is really too fierce. Do not give up, I m sure you ll come up with something else equally good. Good luck.

There aren't much creative ideas in this space I suppose.
