Right now the only purpose I buy them for is to gamble online because it is much easy to do so with bitcoin and ofcouse if there is something I want to buy online and they accept BTC then I buy it too.

Are you going to put the ICC-World-T20 matches for betting? I hope you do because it is really a grand event as far as cricket betting is concerned and you will get interest of lot of bettors. It starts March-8th if I am not mistaken.

I haven't watched it yet but I will look out for it now and will try to search more on it, which bar it was, was it real or just a set for the movie, if it was latter then you can be sure that the film makers put it there.

I used "sudo apt-get install" both originally and, adding --reinstall, last night. I don't know if this matters, but I believe I was running either Ubuntu 10.04LTS or 12.04 when I first installed Electrum. I have since "upgraded" to 14.04LTS, so...
Not sure what it is but when you do the apt-get install, the package is downloaded from the repository and it is a very older version, when you do the pip install the electrum is downloaded from the website which is the latest version.

Brazil gets a lot of foreign visitors and Bitcoin removes all the middlemen between them and the international buyers, which is why Bitcoin must have become their favorite currency.

I have seen a similar service right here on the forum before. How would someone verify this? I mean how will the buyer know that the package was really sent and delivered to the recipient and that it contained the .. manure.
And most of all, do you accept escrow?

Little skeptical about it but not saying anything right now, let's see what becomes of it, the things I'd suggest is add a countdown to the next riddle, the 24 hours wait maybe too long, so maybe bring it down to 8 hours, so there can be 3 riddles every day and you also need to show how many tickets were bought for the next riddle and how much the Pot grew because of that.

I think its just superb! it looks great when the tutorial is going on and explains everything very clearly whilst focusing on the elements. I say add it in the left bar among "Questions", "General terms" as a user might find it handy at a later visit as well.

Looks good for selling digital media, the terms for the seller are kind of complicated for who is not familiar with amazon cloud storage and buckets.

Hey, havent seen a thread, so i am opening this one, to discuss, speculate,... Decred (DCR) coin. What are its benefits? Why do you buy it?
Isn't this the thread about it: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1290358.0I saw a thread some days back where someone was buying it right here on the forum but that's all I know of it. Not interested in altcoins atm.

This actually came to my mind some days back when I wanted to share a tweet in one of my posts but I couldn't find a way to do that other than just posting a screenshot of it. I think it would be a great addon, ability to embed tweets directly to posts. Let me know what you guys think about it.

I am keeping mine since the the world cup starts next month and maybe I'll be able to quadruple them or more and then I might sell some or buy some stuff with it like a hardware wallet or something.
|
|

I am thinking of buying a hardware wallet too and Ledger wallet seems to be the cheapest ones around, btw what's the difference between the different ledger wallets? Ledger HW.1 is a good way to get a low cost introduction to bitcoin hardware wallets. Once you find you like the security consider moving up to a Trezor. The advanced features will make you wonder why you did not buy one in the first place.
Trezor is good but way too costly but I guess if you have tonnes of bitcoin it makes sense investing in it.

Deserve more even though this is just a 30 seconds video of cat and miner (lol).
You didn't get it, Cat is the miner in that video and she fell asleep waiting for the block to arrive, it happens with all miners, the sound of that noise works like lullaby to a tired miner.

As bitcoins exchanges become more regulated, we might see some tax on buying/selling and we might be asked from where we acquired the coins, if we're selling i.e. and nothing wrong with that.

No ATMs in my city or country so far and don't think we will get them because here you need a government approval for things like this and until it becomes completely legal, I don't expect to see them.

bitcoins come from miners who mine bitcoin and get a reward in bitcoins for it, its kinda similar to gold mining
Well the idea came from Satoshi, so I would give him full credit for this question, "Bitcoins came from Satoshi", though you're right they come from mining and solving blocks.
