361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATMs in Vancouver To Be Banned? on: June 10, 2019, 05:24:24 PM
Might as well ban cash too if they have this opinion.  Its like people saying guns cause deaths when it is just people using something to do something criminal.  They are probably just looking to tax these machines heavily, its always about the money.
362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 09, 2019, 05:54:57 PM
I'm surprised that the Raptors are even in this position.  I thought they would never make it past the conference finals to begin with.  Granted, if Durant was healthy during this entire series the Warriors would be leading.  The series still isn't over though and we all remember what happened when Golden State was up 3-1 vs Cleveland.
363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Psychological Technique - Play without Pressure on: June 09, 2019, 05:47:31 PM
Poker is one of the most intense mental games, it may look simple from the outside but once you start playing a lot you see how psychological it is.  Of course luck plays a role but there is a reason why the same group of people routinely finish at the top.
364  Economy / Economics / Re: The Satoshi Value Economy on: June 09, 2019, 05:38:10 PM
Maybe someday we will be talking more in terms of Satoshi instead of dollars.  I know seeing one coin be worth thousands of dollars can be very intimidating since most people don't know about smaller denominations like mBTC or satoshis.
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dead Coins - Coin Dead Before You Knew It on: June 09, 2019, 05:32:49 PM
The fact that there are dead coins upsets me. Why create a coin, then to throw it? It is so stupid, given the potential of the blockchain.

sometimes people genuinely try and it just ends up failing for many different reasons.  The same applies to new businesses in any industry.  They have a very high failure rate and it is something you shouldn't venture into if you are very risk averse.
366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India amazes me!Indian police recovered multi million scam on: June 09, 2019, 05:27:11 PM
Well this simply shows that the indian government  have concerns about their citizens,US dont give a shit about blockchain/crypto scams never heard some hacker/scammers  in cryptocurrency got caught on US or in any other more advance country compared to India.

Most people have their price and can be paid off.  Very few government officials have integrity and will stand by what is right.  Even you don't accept the money the criminals may be willing to hurt your family members.
367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More Bitcoin commercials coming!!! on: June 07, 2019, 01:47:09 AM
Any bitcoin commercials will be supporting a bitcoin based business and not just bitcoin.  It is tragedy of the commons, who is going to spend money on solely promoting bitcoin.  At that point you are just paying to pump other peoples bags.
368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 05, 2019, 02:43:26 PM
Fuck yes! https://twitter.com/Eintracht/status/1135871332271427584

Luka Jovic to Real Madrid done deal...70M for a young striker is a bargain, great work from the RM board.

Next signing to be announced: Ferland Mendy, I believe, all that's missing is some dull paperwork. RM and Chelsea are still negotiating for Hazard, seems like The Blues want to get as much as they can for the belgian which is 120M.

The transfer market is pretty crazy if 70M is considered a bargain for a young not so tested player.  Joao Felix is around that price and he's only 21 and wanted by City.

And I don't think Chelsea could sell Hazard for the price the want with him having just one year left in his contract.

I'm going to get real serious here but I often think how unfair and cruel this world is when someone gets paid hundreds of millions essentially to kick a ball into a net while people are completely broke living in the street with no food.  Of course I still enjoy sports now and then but sometimes I just think about these things in a more serious manner.
369  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the most expensive commodity at the moment? on: June 05, 2019, 02:35:03 PM
Diamonds are really overvalued, they aren't traded like other commodities like gold, sugar, beans, etc.  Diamonds get their value from marketing and the supply is controlled heavily.  Only suckers are paying thousands and even millions for flashy diamond rings.
370  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I start scalping with a 500$? on: June 05, 2019, 02:27:01 PM
It is very unlikely you will be able to consistently get 2 percent profit daily,  Your amount would grow so rapidly due to compounding and you would be a millionaire in no time.  At best I would expect around one percent each week which is still over 50 percent in a year.
371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is all this "Satoshi" drama? on: June 05, 2019, 02:19:59 PM
People love drama and can't get enough of it, instead of discussing technical aspects of crypto we would rather make this gossip corner like TMZ.

CSW and Mcafee definitely know how to keep people entertained though, that is for sure.
372  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM: Bitcoin SV (BSV) - fake team member and plagiarized white paper on: June 04, 2019, 02:33:33 PM
Scam but it keeps rising in price, wish I bought some when it was at $50,  Already ranked 8th and it may end up overtaking bitcoin cash at this rate,  I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Its really hilarious how it is about to surpass BNB though since binance delisted SV.
373  Economy / Speculation / Re: Little dip in bitcoin market, will it be recovered reach 10k on: June 04, 2019, 02:09:45 PM
I'm expecting a dip back to 7k and 6k at the lowest if things get really rough.  As soon as bitcoin broke 9000 the dumpers came out in full force.  For the people wishing they bought at 3k, don't miss this next dip because this could be your last shot before bitcoin reaches 20,000 again.
374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: STEP TO TAKE WHEN PAYMENT IS BEEN DELAYED BY AN ONLINE CASINO on: June 04, 2019, 02:03:27 PM
There is a guy on this forum called game protect that supposedly can help players get their money back.  He does have a lot of scam accusations against him though but if you have tried everything else I guess you don't really have much to lose at that point.
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No knowledge is lost. on: June 04, 2019, 02:00:06 PM
Please my fellow crypto friends I need answers badly about ICO and none ICO projects . my question to you all is
Why are projects with NO ICO always do better than the ones who were actually funded from ICO ? Projects with no funds or whatso ever should be the ones facing what ICO projects are facing excluding scams ones

Ethereum was one of the most successful cryptos and it started with an ICO.  Many projects have succeeded by raising funds in the start but I guess people favor a more fair pow coin that everyone can freely mine at the start.
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Get More For Your Hash! Merge Mine Unobtanium with Bitcoin on: June 04, 2019, 01:51:43 PM
Unobtanium.............looks like we are able to obtain it.

I thought this name was stupid when i saw Avatar and I still think it is, no offence.  This name just makes this coin sound like a complete joke that no one will take seriously.
377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about the gambling site's having a promotion? on: June 04, 2019, 01:45:22 PM
It is almost required to have things like free spins and giveaways if you want to be a successful casino in todays climat.  The competition is intense in this sector and it shows no signs of stopping.  The free spins usually have a cap of what you can win and they make it very difficult to withdraw from a free promotion though.
378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Old ICO tokens earned in bounty campaigns. on: June 03, 2019, 05:20:35 PM
Hello, I did a big mistake and hold every coin that I earned in bounty campaign. All of them are now worthless.

Do you know about some progress/news or something that could revive these coins?

I am talking about coins that all of you know:
Thrive, Tradove, Savedroid, LHCoin, Araw, Shivom, Skyfchain, Amon, Sp8de, Qurrex, Verasity, DCC, TheKey, VelixID, 4NEW?
I bet that all of these coins were TOP in the days of token sale, the best ratings, but are they still alive with promising future?

I would be thankful for every information about these coins.

Might as well just hold on to them, you never know if any of them will be worth something one day.  I've seen coins that were considered dead while the development was quietly being worked on and the price ended up rising drastically in a short amount of time.  Don't lose the faith.
379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Instead of Gambling Invest in the BANKROLL on: June 03, 2019, 05:13:50 PM
If I wanted to do that I would rather go and try to start my own casino instead.  It doesn't take much starting capital to make your own online casino and it is one of the best business models because you are guaranteed to make a profit.  Nothing like real life casinos that require a lot of money to run.

https://www.casino.org/blog/how-much-does-it-cost-to-start-your-own-casino/

So what you're saying is that you have about (and this is a conservative number) $1-2 million to pay for licensing cost, software, attorney fees, international banks, international credit card merchants, compliance and so on and so forth?

There's no way you have that amount.

An online crypto casino costs nowhere near that,  sounds like casinos trying to discourage more people from starting their own casinos, doing anything to lessen the competition.

I'm talking about just opening a crypto only casino, software is basically free, no need for compliance and regulations when you operate in a good country.  I've been around this game for years, I know what these guys have to spend to open these casinos.  Its virtually nothing and they know how to do the work around.

Are you sure about that?  Grin

Yes I'm sure, if you want to refute that with your reasons your open to do so.
