1281  Economy / Economics / Re: [ASK] why is the year getting rich getting richer? on: August 20, 2018, 02:54:21 PM
why is the years that the rich get richer and the poor become poorer and more oppressed?
What do you think should be done to keep this economic gap from continuing?
Not all rich people keeps getting richer and not all the poor people keeps on getting poor, some of them do succeed out of poverty. Some people are just so dumb, poverty has blocked their mind and made them to be just useless to the extent that they can’t even think of what to do to help themselves out in life. They keep on making mistakes and these mistakes they are making are what makes the rich to even get more richer.

A lot of poor people are intelligent but they lack the capital to become rich.  Money makes money a lot faster than working for an hourly wage.  There is a lot of luck involved and you would have to be foolish to deny this.

The rich keep getting richer because the majority of new wealth created goes straight to the top.  Wages have been stagnant while inflation keeps devaluing currency and housing prices keep rising.
1282  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit $60k in 2019? on: August 20, 2018, 02:38:45 PM
I don't think so.The level is much high to achieve. It will struggle at 10000$.

$10k is nothing, bitcoin was just back at 10k a few months ago.  Bitcoin is much higher than it was one year ago and it reached 20k by the end of the year.  It's very likely it will happen again and bitcoin will reach a new all time high.

My prediction for EOY 2019 is around the $50k range, the price will start to move up rapidly in anticipation of the next btc halving.
1283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you feel when win in gambling? on: August 20, 2018, 02:30:44 PM
This is good if we win big in gambling, we can buy whatever we want, and we can gamble again with big capital which will certainly make us focus more on gambling.

Money can't buy us everything, it will never buy us true love friendship.  However it may buy you a few gold digging women...

I do feel a sharp adrenaline rush when I go on a large winning streak, I think this is why a lot of people love to gamble.  They are addicited to the winning adrenalin efeeling.  It has to be a large amount or the feeling isn't very strong.  I'm sure a billionaire wouldn't feel anything if he won 50k, he would have to bet over a million at  least.
1284  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Amazon Integrate Bitcoin? on: August 20, 2018, 02:24:24 PM
Amazon would get a lot more customers if they started accepting Bitcoin and other cryptos.  Is very foolish on their part to wait this long to implement a btc payment option.

Since they are tied with the CIA, the U.S. government may have told them not to accept crypto or Amazon is working to develop their own coin to be used for payment.
1285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Cryotocurrency gives you excitement? on: August 20, 2018, 02:19:42 PM
everyday after i woke up the first thing i look is my folio, on how's my tokens/coin are doing. how about you guys, how cryptocurrency thrills you?

cryptocurrency:

bounties
campaigns
investments
folio
coins/tokens
trading
projects
etc...

I don't see the point of checking prices everyday unless you are trying to day trade.  I prefer to just hold because I know the total marketcap of crypto will be in the trillions within a few years.
I wouldn't say I'm excited about it, I'm just really interested in the technology and how it can change the financial world.  If I want thrills I'll go ride a rollercoaster Smiley
1286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours a day are you spending on online gambling? on: August 20, 2018, 02:14:45 PM
Its surprising to see the poll at the same %, 42.1% for both 1h and 2-5h, I would have thought that not many people would fall into the 2-5h slot but I guess you can't underestimate addiction. Or maybe boredom?
The time you spend gambling depends a lot in the kind of game that you like to play, if you like to make bets on soccer and you like to watch the games in which you placed a bet, a single bet means two hours of gambling and this is even more true if you decide to do some live bets during the game, poker is also an example of a game that can take a lot of time to play, in fact just participating in one tournament per week should be enough to put you in the 2 to 5 hours a week bracket.

So as you can see the game you choose influences greatly the amount of time you spend gambling but how much time you spend gambling is a very deceiving metric to identify gambling addiction after all if a professional poker player told you he was spending 100 hours a week playing you may say he is an addict but if he earns tens of thousands of dollars out of it we cannot really say that.

I'm not sure if I would count the time watching matches for the poll question.  Even if I didn't wager money on a football match I would still watch it because I'm a big sports fan.

A poker player spending 100 hours a week? That sounds excessive, I would be very surprised if someone really spends that much time playing poker.
1287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment on: August 20, 2018, 02:07:15 PM
Investments are only your choice. We can help with advice Grin) We need to carefully study the projects of all the tokens. And choose a few for investment.

I stopped taking advice of others, I got burned too many times in the past.  Most people giving crypto advice have some type of agenda ( usually to dump their own bags on you).  Always do your own research, it pays off in the end even though it may seem like a lot of work.  You'll have to sift through piles of garbage to find a few hidden gems.
1288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I bought bitcoin at $20k last year on: August 20, 2018, 02:00:50 PM
I got into the bitcoin again last year after losing all my 4.5 bitcoins to ponzi schemes early last year. I bought in bitcoin again at $20k. Now bitcoin is $6k+.  I'm regretting my actions.  Huh

Just hold everything and be patient.  Bitcoin has crashed many times in the past but it always rises back to a new all time high  I would take a break from checking prices for a few months and let your mind relax instead of stressing yourself out.  At least you had the courage to take a risk, that is how you get rich.

1290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Masternode listing on: August 16, 2018, 08:32:37 PM
I've seen a lot of new Masternode coins end up being scams.  Be cautious of coins offering an unrealistic ROI.  I would say anything over 10% yearly is too much.

It seems like a lot of the new coins are moving towards Proof of Stake instead of Proof of Work in order to cut back on energy use and be more environmentally friendly.
1291  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bearish again? (Back at $5500) on: August 16, 2018, 08:20:57 PM
I believe we already touched the bottom of this bear market, there is too much support around the $6k levels for it too reach a new low for the year.  There is still a lot of negativity lingering because of the dip from the $20k peak.  I do believe the next bull run will start very soon and there is no reason we can't reach a new all time high by the end of this year.
1292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beginner's Luck on: August 16, 2018, 07:46:11 PM
This reminds me of the old tale that casinos would place a slot machine in the lobby which had higher chances of winning in order to lure gamblers inside their casino.  I'm sure these type of things happen with sketchy underground type casinos online but any fair casino would have the same odds no matter if you are a newbie or a veteran.
1293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: India to legalize gambling and sports betting on: August 15, 2018, 04:17:57 PM
I've always been in support of people having more freedom and being able to do what they want.  Why should the government be able to decide what we can do with our lives.  Most people are responsible and can gamble just fine without any negative effects.
1294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which are the 3 best coins of the top 20 from coinmarketcap on: August 15, 2018, 03:50:04 PM
Which are the 3 best coins of the top 20 from coinmarketcap . with the highest potential !
which 3 coins would you buy ( without BTC )

Excluding bitcoin my top 3 picks would be: Ethereum, Monero, and Bitcoin Cash.

Ethereum- Most widely used altcoin, lots of support, will move to POS in the future
Monero:  The most used privacy coin,  has a huge userbase on the darkweb markets
Bitcoin Cash- I know this coin gets a lot of hate but Bitmain is pushing Bcash hard and they have the funds to keep the price high.
1295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum will reach $ 2500 on: August 15, 2018, 03:38:20 PM
in my opinion it is very difficult because ethereum's total supply conditions have unlimited total supply and there is also not too much demand making ethereum difficult to increase prices.

Ethereum has really high demand.  It's the 2nd biggest crypto with 2billion dollars of daily trading volume.  We aren't talking about some low volume shitcoin.  Eth is a major player and everywhere I go that accepts crypto it is either btc or eth and nothing else.
1296  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin - a financial pyramid: true or myth? on: August 15, 2018, 03:21:38 PM
You can call every investment a financial pyramid.  Is Amazon a pyramid? Is Apple a pyramid? You could of bought the stock at the very beginning and 100x your investment.  Any good investment goes up overtime, it doesn't mean your stupid for investing at a higher price if it has a proven record.  The first investors take the highest risk so the should be rewarded the most.
1297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Shyness in gambling on: August 15, 2018, 03:13:10 PM
It is hard to imagine how one can be shy in an online casino, and yet this happens, especially when you play against real people, like in a poker tournament, for example. The thing is that if you gamble long enough, your nickname becomes known to the audience as well as some of their names are known to you. So, when you sit at a poker table, you don't feel anonymous completely, maybe only partially to some new players, but others surely know you, and you know them, you say "hi" to each other, "nice hand", "good game" and all that stuff. ... Of course there are different mindsets. Some people can be shy with people they know while others feel shy with strangers, so that depends on the person in general.

I think a lot of people get intimidated playing against other humans.  They feel safer gambling with slot machines or dice because they are going against computers.  Facing off vs humans can be filled with very intense emotions which are hard to shake.
1298  Economy / Economics / Re: WHEN WILL PEOPLE LEARN? on: August 15, 2018, 03:01:31 PM
There will always be new fools that get suckered into these scam projects because they are promised great returns.  It's difficult for myself to trust any new project unless the developer has a proven track record.  The amount of scam projects is very high right now and it's part of the reason the market is suffering so much right now.
1299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: IDEX unsafe? on: August 13, 2018, 04:04:58 PM
In reality no exchange is really 100% safe.  It's why I always recommend to keep the majority of your coins stored in your own hardware or cold wallet.  Even the biggest exchanges are prone to being hacked, no system is 100% safe.  If you are using an exchange only transfer a portion of your coins each time to protect yourself.
1300  Economy / Economics / Re: Is President Trump good or bad for the economy? on: August 13, 2018, 03:57:55 PM
I am sure Trump has a high influence on the economic progress of the United States, because what I know is that Trump is a genius in the economic field, he is very strong in business, any business. Trump also has good cooperation with other developed countries.
lol, I wouldn't call Trump an economic genius.  He was born into a wealthy family and benefited from his father's connections.  He has went broke on many business deals, filed for bankruptcy, and has been involved in money laundering.  Trump is simply a showman, he is not a genius.  I don't believe he even holds any real power, he is simply a puppet.
