3722  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bull Run; FOMO on: December 18, 2020, 09:04:15 PM
Bitcoin has surged past $21k. Newbies are rushing into the market to buy some.. FOMO...it's incredible that people are more willingly to buy a coin when the price is high than when it's low. Take for example when btc was less than $600 in 2016, people thought it was just plain stupid to buy a coin for that much. I had the experience with ethereum, I could have bought eth at $100 but I wasn't sure and was waiting for the "right time". I later bought ETH at $400. The psychology of regarding coins as shit coins until they blow up and become too expensive is common among newbies. Even myself I am guilty. Enjoy the bull run guys!! Remember to lock your btc or swap to a stable coin like usdt. Good luck

I definitely agree with your statement.

The problem with most of the newbie investors is that they only invest depending on the trend on social media and about the current news without even reading the reason behind the surge. Now assuming that they indeed invested then the price dropped, they are also the ones who complain about bitcoin being a 'scam' and a 'fraud' investment. Instead of blindly investing into bitcoin, supply yourself with sufficient knowledge and tools to know the reason behind the surge.

Again, bitcoin is a volatile currency and its price may suddenly increase/decrease without any warning. So in order to at least save your investments, learn to be smart and capitalize on your role as an investor and not as a rider who follows trends.
3723  Economy / Speculation / Re: Congrats Bitcoin Community. Today is $20k day! on: December 18, 2020, 08:41:02 PM
$20k!

It's either a day or two away from being exactly 3 years from the peak of the last market cycle when Bitcoin came soooo close to hitting $20k (granted the global price I guess did pass $20k but in USD markets it came up just short). And now almost to the day 3 years later it surges past $20k to signal the bull run has truly begun!

It's gonna be a good next year!

I remember way back in 2017 when I first joined the forum, the price of one (1) bitcoin was around $5,000-$5,500 and people were blindly speculating that its price will reach $20,000 in the near future.
Although I admit that I lack the information and knowledge about the latest trends and news about the price of bitcoin, I believed in my guts that its price would sky-rocket in the near future.

Note: If you are one of those people who purchased bitcoin last December 2017 when its price reached a peak of around $19,000, then today is your chance to at least recover your losses and trade-in some of your bitcoins to cash (although I do not recommend this).
3724  Economy / Reputation / Re: Moneta Holdings17 - Trust abuser/manipulator & liar. on: December 18, 2020, 07:01:08 PM
Man, imagine creating several brand new accounts just to abuse the trust system by leaving negative tags on a well-constructed exposed accusation against them. This is too childish IMO and you can really see the desperation and vendetta of that user. Well, that is the price you pay once you plagiarized and copy somebody else's project and caused to appear that you own them.

He is offlline for a few days now and he locked that ridiculous thread in scam accusation board so I guess he finally realized he won't achieve anything with those false accusations, on the contrary, he just brought more crap on himself, as expected.

He just dug his grave even deeper with the scam accusation thread he created. Like I was literally confused and you can see his desperation for revenge. I do hope he moves on and accepts defeat!
3725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: VALORANT Betting on: December 18, 2020, 05:41:13 PM
I heard of this game, lots of young people and streamers are playing this, since the pandemic, kinda like the game, but I think dota2 is way more popular and there are lots of people betting especially when TI, they may be just second place as dota2 is still and will stay at the top.

You have to consider that Dota 2 and Valorant are different games with their unique mechanics- the former being a MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) and the latter being an FPS (First-person Shooter). If you were to compare Valorant, the better candidate would be CSGO.

The fame of Dota 2 started when Dota 1 was released way back in 2003, which puts them at the edge on any competitive MOBA out there. It is like comparing apples and oranges as they are entirely different living in a distinct world. Well regardless, Valorant has becoming more popular as its competitive scene has been steadily increasing due to some CSGO professional players migrating.
3726  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My First Rank Up on: December 18, 2020, 03:38:29 PM
My first ranking up was a while ago. I moved from newbie to Jr Member today. Today is such a day for me to celebrate and enjoy. Today I feel very different happy myself. I am sure it is my birthday gift. With the help of everyone in this forum, I am able to achieve Jr. Member. I hope I can go so far. I want the cooperation of all in this foram. At first, I thought it would be difficult for me to rank up. But It is not. Ranking Up can be done easily if you try hard. I will do my best to contribute to this forum.

Thanks.

First and foremost, congratulations for ranking up! I understand that it is relatively harder to rank-up compared to the time before the merit implementation happened but you deserve all the reward and credit!

Like what you mentioned, contribution to the forum garners merit especially if you contribute something that is at least substantial and/or entertaining to the viewers. In addition, make it a point to think that contribution makes the forum better and the merits that you receive is just a collateral to your actual contribution.

3728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ POLL ]: Boxing - Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev - JOSHUA WINS IN ROUND 9 on: December 18, 2020, 05:35:51 AM
I think boxing media thinks that Joshua will just steam roll on Pulev and the fight shouldn't last for 9 rounds before that knockout. He had him in round 4 on the canvass already if I'm not mistaken and it took another 5 more rounds to finish him.

So that's why he didn't get the praise that he was supposed to get in this fight. They think that Joshua is now playing safe and not aggressive enough to go for an early knock down.

Pulev's performance was disappointing, but he wasn't that bad to give a 4th round knockout victory to Anthony Joshua. AJ had to work hard for his win, and it was not a cakewalk. The outcome was more or less certain, as the odds were heavily favoring Joshua. But the next match against Fury will be different, and there he will be the underdog. On top of that Fury is in top form right now.

It wasn't an intense game for Puleb, he talked so much outside the ring only to get himself knockout inside the right. Pulev try to market the game but people are not happy, they are also expecting that Joshua will win easily and not to take this fight longer.

Well, maybe we can consider this fight as a tune up fight for Joshua in this big fight with Fury, but people should already know now who is the better fighter between Fury and Joshua although they both are winners on their previous respective fights.

I agree with you.

The performance of Pulev was a bit underwhelming IMO especially that I was expecting it to be a close fight. AJ gave him a run for his money and his trash-talking, though everything was done in order to market the fight.
After the game, I watched about AJ saying that 'let it be Tyson Fury'. This game will surely be exciting and I want to see this happening in the near future! If such game continues, I'm betting all of my money to the Gypsy King!
3729  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to know is someone real and trusted for Bitcoin trading? on: December 18, 2020, 02:47:40 AM
My Question Is, How to trust someone in Bitcoin Transaction?
Lots of people offering Lot's of things but whom to believe and how Huh Huh

The trust system and feedback on the person is not conclusive but that will serve as your best basis in order to determine if such user can be trusted. In addition, you can also consider their history and contribution in the forum as those may help you in determining their position in the forum.

Warning though, recently, there were trusted members on the forum who took advantage of their positive feedback and they decided to default on hefty amount of loans. Like what I mentioned, the trust system is not a conclusive evidence that can guarantee you a successful and safe transaction. So if you are dealing with large amounts of transactions in the forum, I highly advise for you to hire an escrow or a third-party that can hold such funds for the time being.
3730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] GINV.IO - the platform for investors in the market of gemstones. on: December 18, 2020, 02:11:10 AM
Due to the inactiveness of OP in order to answer the allegations against the project, if you are considering of purchasing or investing in this project then I strongly advise to AVOID this project for the time being. The evidence presented against the truthfulness and veracity of this project are alleged and consider it as a prima facie evidence against it.

Also, if they can add their linkedin profile not the twitter or fb. Because the other one, has just created his twitter acct recently. Most of the projects that ventured in precious metals or precious stones don't end up well. I don't know if there are still investors on this project.

Your website is rather messy in terms of sentences and layout. It made it harder to trust the project, given such ambitious goal were reflected in rather un-appealing sentences that seems like jutted out in hurry.

That's one also. When you browse their website, it is really not professionally done or am I just expecting a lot as we are talking about precious stones here.

Almost all of the accounts of the team members were done hastily. Brand new accounts were created and I really doubt about the identity of two (2) of their team members as they looked computer-generated due to the misalignment on the nose and the asymmetry of it.
3731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Golovkin vs. Szeremeta IBF Middleweight Title on: December 17, 2020, 05:10:02 PM
This fight would definitely end with GGG's win.

Though his unfortunate loss with Canelo ended in defending his title, nonetheless, GGG is still one of the best middleweight fighters in the boxing division. I expect him to win this with an early knockout maybe around rounds 2-3? Though his opponent may be undefeated, his fight histories were against relatively good fighters. This would be his big break for him once he gets inside the ring with GGG but I have my bets with the latter!
3732  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How many posts can be posted? on: December 17, 2020, 03:49:35 PM
If my English is not very good, and have some grammar problems occur, can I post?
How many posts can be posted everyday?

There is no limit as to the number of post that you can make each day but remember to at least put an interval of maybe 15-20 minutes every time you post. In addition, also make sure that what you post is relatively substantial and something that is not considered as a spam.

Regarding about your English, there are tons of websites that can check whether your sentences are free with any grammatical error. Also, if you are really not that comfortable with your English, try browsing through the local boards of the forum where you can speak your language there.
3733  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Expose] Block-bank.io Ponzi Project on: December 17, 2020, 05:01:24 AM
As always good find, OP!

I just really hope that ponzi websites such as this one does not have any victims at all. I mean, it is just crazy to think that they offer packages with a minimum withdrawal of $50,000. Imagine if newbie investors were to fall in this kind of obvious trap due to their naiveness and innocence. Nevertheless, I applaud your efforts OP for posting these ponzi schemes even if they are not listed in the forum!

Keep up the good work and I support every post which is relevant to this one.

3735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cambodia enacts new laws related to gambling. on: December 15, 2020, 07:52:37 PM
I still believe that 7% is on the higher side, as most of the other nations have lower taxes. But I must congratulate the Cambodian government for the fact that they have legalized and regulated the gambling industry there. Here in India, the government is refusing to do that and as a result the gambling is mostly done underground away from the eyes of the government authorities.

It may be relatively higher but one cannot deny the fact that this heading towards a better implementation in the future.

Once the government of a country realizes the economic affect of the gambling industry, it means that they view it as a profitable institution which may bring revenue to them. In addition, this revenue will be catered towards improving infrastructures or anything that the Government needs that uses its revenue.

With your case in India, maybe the government has yet to see its economic impact on the country given that maybe only a handful of gambling institutions are erected there. Another thing, the population of India is so significantly huge that other problems are needed to be focused rather than gambling.

Hi,

Will it be possible for you to post another picture of two (2) of your current team members, namely: William Lagman and Julien Farsel? I have some serious doubts and reservations as to their authenticity due to their noses being asymmetrical and their hair being slightly distorted. I am slightly convinced that they may be computer generated? Hope I am wrong but hopefully you can provide more photos of them.

I invite other members to check my claim if such photos are indeed computer generated. Please check the reference below.

3739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Suggest the best strategy on: December 13, 2020, 12:53:14 PM
<snip...>

To be completely honest, applying any of the strategies you mention may work but none of them are 100% reliable and consistent.

My best advice for you would be to stick at the strategy you are comfortable with. In addition, such strategy will also depend on the amount of capital you are willing to risk at a current game. Also, those strategies that you mentioned may work on gambling websites but NOT on sports betting as it involves another set of strategies independently from what you mentioned.

If you are willing to delve deeper and apply knowledge, I would suggest to stay away from gambling and to focus on trading.

Just imagine, this guy literally changed the life of millions of people with his revolutionary technology of bitcoin. It has affected significantly on how people view their perspective on transactions that eliminates the need for a third-party consensus. I was too young back then to invest and to know bitcoin, but if I were knowledgeable at that time it was created, I could have saved maybe a couple of bitcoins.

Only time will tell about the true identity and existence of satoshi. Likewise, regardless of his identity, I am forever grateful for the contribution he made which changed and transformed the lives of many.
