381  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitsand: A Virtual Unit Built On Peer-to-Peer Network on: January 01, 2021, 10:11:02 PM
All Bitsand will be obtained from the destruction of Bitcoins, and the system will continue to operate under the proof-of-stake. Bitsand was created only out of interest, and the value of this system depends on how people are willing to use it.

How do you destroy Bitcoin by the way? I mean it's either some kind of worldwide blanket ban or your project will just buy Bitcoin and then lock it out in a wallet you won't use, the latter of course has no guarantee that someone will abuse it. So what's your idea in mind on how you will destroy Bitcoin? It's funny how your project is "inspired" by Satoshi but with your way where your altcoin's success depends on the destruction of Bitcoin is something that isn't really respectible IMO.

383  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Crypto Adoptation (Advantage and Disadvantage) on: December 26, 2020, 10:38:26 PM
Even digital versions of Peso from banking apps hanggang sa e-cash apps like Gcash at PayMaya may mga makikita kang balita about scams or di kaya biktima ng phishing website. Siguro kung hahanap man tayo ng paraan para iwasan ito ay dapat may tamang edukasyon lang or introduksyon kung paano maiiwasan ito kasi in most cases user-triggered ang mga nangyayaring pagnanakaw which is totally avoidable naman.
384  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: I won bitcoin on an anonymous online casino and I am totally lost about taxes. on: December 25, 2020, 11:15:31 PM

If I were OP I'd rather just be honest and declare everything as is. That's to avoid possible legal repercussions in the future. It's hard to provide clear proofs on things that didn't actually happen.

The man/woman is living on unemployment for a year. So I guess it is even harder to claim that he/she bought the 2 BTC through P2P. For one, he/she has to provide proofs that despite being unemployed he/she is still capable of buying BTC. Plus, of course, the documents supporting the source/s of funds should also be provided. And, finally, the blockchain is transparent. It is impossible to make up transactions.

I think his main is his winnings coming from a "anonymous" gambling site which chances are might not be registered or allowed to operate in their country that is why he is having problems telling the truth, they might just confiscate his winnings just because he got it from an unregistered gambling website. I'm just giving him some kind of excuse which makes his winnings a little bit easier for him. Either way he still have to pay taxes which I believe he would still have to pay his capital gains on the time he is claiming in buying it.
385  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: I won bitcoin on an anonymous online casino and I am totally lost about taxes. on: December 24, 2020, 10:39:13 PM
So your main problem right now is just creating an excuse just you earn your Bitcoin on another way besides from the truth which is gambling? I don't think you have to worry about anything if you just reported that you bought it in a direct p2p manner. Also just skip the part where you bought your Bitcoin and just hold it for years since obviously there are dates that are recorded on blockchain and the taxing authority can verify the date on when you have received the 2 Bitcoin. If they don't have the chance to verify on who the sending address is I think they will just believe you that you bought your Bitcoins directly from person to person.
386  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Developing Branded Bitcoin Wallet App from open source resource on: December 23, 2020, 10:12:02 PM
If I may ask why will you use your time on basing your crypto wallet on a open-source code? In this way you will just create another kind of generic wallet or worst an exact copy of the copay wallet. For eyes of any crypto users I think the majority will just see you as some kind of duplicate copy or a phishing website for the original one when you have not exactly modify anything with that wallet you are basing in. Maybe you can try to make the source code as your guide and create a unique kind of crypto wallet from scratch as uniqueness scores a lot of points for the crypto users.
387  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pagpasok ng Tao Sa Crypto on: December 21, 2020, 11:07:19 PM
@OP I think this is one of the worst things a crypto user won't be asking for, bakit? May mga katagang "Bitcoin is a Bubble", "Bitcoin ruined my life", "Bitcoin is a scam" ang mga narinig natin sakanila dito.
388  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-12-17] IRS is trapping bitcoin and altcoin investors on 2020 tax form on: December 20, 2020, 10:09:57 PM
I am afraid that the IRS might not stop on their own citizens and it might begin taxing foreign users of American exchanges.

Lawyers and legal experts. Is trading in an American exchange a taxable activity for people who do not reside in that country? I might have traded in an American exchange hehehe. I also reckon we should begin to educate all users about this.

Foreign Users can be counted as a taxable person under non-resident aliens but it doesn't clearly fit in the description to persons who are engaged in a trade/business for income. Yeah they certainly earn from these US crypto exchanges but it is not classified as income but it is classified as capital gains which is also on another kind of tax rate. When we are talking about if what they are doing is right I don't think they have the power to tax people who aren't even their resident. Plus the post above pointed out that if the IRS plans to tax capital gains to foreign users then the user might just experience a double taxation for his capital gain which is simply unjust, for me I don't see them having "stricter regulations" when we are talking about additional kinds of taxes being introduce.
389  Local / Pamilihan / Re: USDT TO ETH COINS PH :( on: December 18, 2020, 11:34:36 PM
Press this issue sa Coins.ph support and not sa Binance kasi sila may access ng private keys mo for your ETH wallet addresss. Just talk about that you have sent the wrong kind of cryptocurrency sa ETH wallet address mo na akala mo pwede ang ERC-20 token dito, I think it would be possible pero sa pagkakatanda ko nung nag-fork yung Bitcoin hindi din nag bigay ng forked coins ang coins.ph so you also have to lower your expectation sa ganitong magiging request mo dahil baka nga kahit sila ay wala ding access or kakayahan sa ganitong procedure.
390  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Stablecoins get more regulated on: December 16, 2020, 11:54:15 PM
I think that's inevitable if you think about it. If you manage to make more and more people accept cryptocurrency and people are looking for more ways to obtain them, regular banks are at the financial institutions' front. Nothing is completely wrong with them letting control it as long as you are using it the right way, you wouldn't be worried. Having that defined powers by banks would open new people to the idea that it's actually the big thing and maybe have more people invest in it. Win-win.

It is inevitable for sure but it's not about the utility of the stablecoins itself because if we are talking about the "utility" alone then for sure Bitcoin will be more regulated as compared to stablecoins, because tbh stablecoins are mostly used in exchanges rather than in any kind of platform. So right now the only thing making them having stricter regulation is because they are holding the fiat currency of the US which I think gives US have the right to add in their restrictions to protect their own fiat currency.
392  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: For whole blockchain communiy. About our future. on: December 12, 2020, 09:45:00 PM
But it's a solution, which will allow to pay tax to your city, which will be distributed between police, medics, teachers..., do a legal business, control local and global economics, control resources and services allocation etc... It's a completely new blockchain use, when every single person can get a job, medical service, salary...

From paying taxes and even getting a job? This sounds like a big project that involves a lot of connections from multiple industries including the government from which I highly doubt will work. What I mean about that is before you make this "solution" have you even given a green light from governments that they will be using your project as a mode for their citizens to pay taxes? Because if not your project will be going nowhere because if no one will be part of it yet then your project is basically useless. The same goes for finding a job or paying a salary have you contacted companies about your project and has given you the "yes" that they will be using it? For teasers like this I think you must give a detailed info on what you will be doing exactly and who are part of it since you are being to vague with the information you are giving.
393  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Few questions about the bitcoin. on: December 11, 2020, 11:06:46 PM
If you are thinking about some kind of free way like faucets in order for you to earn Bitcoin I don't think this is a good choice since you won't be really earning anything from them, the consumption of electricity alone will just make you lose money. Remember that Bitcoin is considered a currency and in your situation where you don't want to invest/trade it for profit your only option really right now is to find a job and accept Bitcoin as the mode of payment for your service. If you aren't able to find a regular 8-hour job your best bet is to make your talents/skills available in a freelancing website where you of course accept Bitcoin as a payment. Other things I can think of you earning Bitcoin is through passive revenue from content creation it may be a website or a blog where you earn ad revenue.
394  Local / Pilipinas / Re: ATH na ba? on: December 10, 2020, 09:17:38 PM
Abot kamay na ang new ATH in just a matter or days or weeks for sure lagpas na sa 20k ang btc tingin ko papalo to gang $25k sa EOY kaya mas maganda hodl muna as of now antayin natin umabot sa ganyan level kc tyak may correction yan once ma reach niyan yan pero sa dami ng good news about btc mas mataas pa iaangat niyan kagaya nga sabi ng iba $250k in 2021 is possible.

20,000$ was never the ATH of Bitcoin way back 2017 to be exact 19,783$ ang ATH ng Bitcoin nuong 2017 which na-break na natin nung na reach ni Bitcoin yung 19,800$ nuong November 30, 2020.
395  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: ethic(moral) on: December 09, 2020, 10:50:31 PM
Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies are counted as assets which means in your death (theoretically) is transmissible/inheritable to the next of kin. I know a lot of people keeps their crypto assets a secret even on their love ones and the most easiest way for your crypto assets to be transferred to them without them knowing you have one is through your will and testament where your lawyer will be the one handling the process legally, this way you will know that just in case you die your assets will still be transferred to your love ones.

But if you are talking about your BCT account this isn't counted as an asset so I don't know how the transfer of accounts work which I don't think is transferable. Just think about it like your social media account where even if you die your next of kin doesn't have the right to gain control of it not unless it is like a Youtube account where people even do they die still makes profit out of it.
396  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Crypto Valley of Asia Itinatayo sa Pilipinas on: December 08, 2020, 10:46:20 PM
397  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Stablecoins get more regulated on: December 03, 2020, 09:30:12 PM
Ever since I knew that Stablecoins' issuers have the ability to freeze/reclaim their own cryptocurrency I know everything will be more controlled by the government. For those of you who don't know stablecoins like USDT have the ability to freeze someone's wallet in their own will, in this case if the government/authorities will ask them to handle some kind of "suspicious activity" they have the power to just control all of you stablecoins and instantly just wipe it. This is one of the negative things about cryptocurrencies being backed by fiat currency as definitely the country they have issued the fiat-backed crypto has some special powers within it.
398  Local / Pilipinas / Re: MAY KINALAMAN BA ANG CHINA SA PAGBAGSAK NG DAPAT SANA AY BULLRUN TREND? on: November 29, 2020, 04:58:02 PM
Seized cryptocurrencies will be difference compared to stolen cryptocurrencies kasi if ever dapat nga baliktad ang nangyari kasi considered good news ito dahil may nangyaring recovery of scammed cryptocurrencies. Kumpara naman sa stolen cryptocurrencies na kung saan naman ay may direct link sa pag baba ng cryptocurrencies dahil na rin sa possibility na ibenta/liquidate ng mga kriminal yung nanakaw nila which will result to the price drop of the cryptocurrencies. If ever man meron connection ito it will just be about the news and how the market react to it pero sa dinadami ng news na dumadating about cryptocurrencies hindi mo talaga malalaman na kung ano yung tunay na makaka-apekto sa Bitcoin lalong-lalo na kung walang direct connection.
399  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Eto na! nagsisimula na! on: November 26, 2020, 11:27:22 PM
Bitcoin is bound to correct in the first place, matagal ko ng pinag-mamatyagan yan kasi tumataas yung presyo ni Bitcoin ngunit yung traded volume nya ay kung hindi stable ay patuloy na bumababa meaning yung demand ng Bitcoin ay hindi tumataas. Price increasing while the volume is decreasing is a bearish sign kaya malakas yung chance na bumaba talaga yung presyo ni Bitcoin dahil wala syang technical support.
400  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: can i find an investor here for a startup? on: November 24, 2020, 10:31:00 PM
Thank
It's not 'incredible' idea)) It's very simple, but no one has implemented it before. It's not a debit card with a cashback, it's a mobile application. The difference between them is that the percentage returned by the buyer reaches 30-50%. The money returned by the partners of the service (this is about 10%) is paid to those who made purchases earlier, usually 2-4 weeks ago. The project is not a ponzi scheme. Users do not pay a money, but make everyday purchases - these are popular products in grocery stores, cafes and more.
All money received only from service partners (this is how standard cashback works). The service will be able to work successfully if there are 10,000 users (this is not much).
This is a very rough description. Will be gamefication, drawing of prizes between active users, referral program.

So you are basically saying that there is a 10% service charge yet the cashback the users will have will be 30-50% of the value of their purchases? Sounds mathematically impossible for me in terms of all parties having profit in a sense. Also if we are talking about "partners of the service" here I think the best way for you to have investors is through them not here in the forum since if they have agreed to partnered up with you already I think they will be willing to invest in what you are offering or maybe they will recommend you with some connections they already know.20,000$ for me is something that you won't see a lot being offered by users in the forum especially to a newbie like you proposing a investment.
