1101  Other / Meta / Re: Be polite on: December 10, 2019, 06:29:17 AM
I will agree with you on these points. I guess i was wrong to think i can talk about been polite on the internet, i think i need to grow thicker skin.

You are in a forum that practices free speech so when your views differientiate from other members expect to have debates and disagreements with it. You don't even need to have a thicker skin to do it if you firmly believe in what you have said then be prepared to defend it with the upcoming replies you will have. If they are rude then we can't really do anything about it that's who he is you don't have to take it too personally.
1102  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [StrandHogg] Android user vulnerability on: December 09, 2019, 09:11:06 PM
About a month or so I was reading news about this xHelper app that was also available in the playstore where the users who have downloaded it has virtually no solutions on completely removing the app that even factory resetting your phone won't completely wipe it out....

I posted about that in this thread, but what OP posted is something completely different and much more dangerous then xHelper malware. As you say it only showing ads even on your home screen, and it also redirects you to some bad sites in a browser, but StrandHogg is actually imitating real applications (mostly for internet banking) and in that way steals user data.

Yeah I know, I was only giving examples for maxreish and for other members that criminals are literally everywhere and is covering a lot of platforms which we think are safe. My other point is that the criminals and hackers are actually getting smarter by the day from developing phishing sites, and apps now they have developed a vulnerability that can mimic legitimate apps to steal our money. This isn't really a time to be careless now and let the majority of our holdings out in the open where scammers can potentially hijack it.
1103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who needs Satoshi Nakamoto principles? on: December 09, 2019, 08:29:35 PM
As we all know, mining is now completely centralized. Big money buys expensive equipment in the form of ASIC / GPU / FPGA devices and deprives everyone else of the right to participate in the issue of cryptocurrencies.
Normal people see it as an expensive item while business-minded people can see ways on getting that hardware on different ways without braking the bank. From buying second hand rigs to repairing them they can do anything on what they currently have just to participate on having a piece of that pie. Yes big mining farms are getting all the big pieces but they aren't the only ones benefiting from each block and lot of early adopters have gotten the biggest slices in the Bitcoin industry. If you still think that you can't afford to mine Bitcoin then I think it would be better for you just to buy them in an exchange and ride the trend for you to profit.

1104  Economy / Reputation / Re: The hero’s account belongs to the scam farm. on: December 09, 2019, 07:08:41 PM
He used to do bounties (Kick )  but still did not learn well. In the night, I came home and they went to their home. I was tired and slept quickly. That guy whose phone I took to make signature posts, he submitted his bounty work report without logging out my account!! Then he knocked me 3 times, but I slept tight! Later he logged out from my account and login with his own Kick account and submitted the same reports, even he joined ( with my logged account) in an ended campaign like a pro newbie.

If you left your account logged in to his phone why does he need to knock you 3 times (I don't even know why you know that) just to delete the reports he mistakenly submit when he can delete it by himself while it was still logged on? How can you even explain the rest of the accounts connected to you (sagufran, and rezveekhan)? Have you also connected to their phones just to make a post and you forgot to logged off your account again?

The user who posted this is named "HYIPs-Analysis" which gave me the feeling that he had posted several similar hyip sites other than this and I was right. Based on his post history he had posted several of them here in the forum all of which is in the Russian board. This guy is just posting a lot of HYIP sites (biturbo, investtrend) just to get referral commissions from Russian members and I think they are targeting them since HYIP is pretty popular in Russia.

All these monitors are a part of the scam as well. When a new site is created , they engage the monitors by paying them daily like for instance 1$ just to state that they (the monitor site) have personally invested in a bogus plan and are being paid peanuts .

Maybe some monitors that have high traffic are accepting payment, the ones who are even saying they are "paying" when in fact they haven't been for a long time now and also the ones who are posting ads of hyip on their websites. But I do know most of the hyip monitors I have seen do work independently and there only after is the referral commission they will have from their site visitors clicking their referral links. Still both kinds of hyip monitors are being operated by bad people as they are consciously promoting a scam/fake investment to other people.
1106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 09, 2019, 04:43:50 PM
Gianluigi Donnarumma played a crucial part in yesterday's game and both the goals that went in were not his fault and Alessio Romagnoli played his part in changing my perception of the match and Bonaventura played well too and scored a goal and it was a good win for Milan.

In the second match Parma was able to score a goal and win the match and as expected did not see many goals.

What I liked about the match is they exactly looked like the Milan I know 10 years ago where they are really dominating the match. These are the rare days where Milan looks like a Champions league team and they can see a lot of chances for scoring a goal. Yes they only won buy 1 goal but even before that they scored two goals first and Bologna was having a hard time getting any chances at all. Proving that is their goals comes from mistakes one of it is Theo Hernandez scoring an own goal.
1107  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: People’s Bank of China Announces Test Program to Limit Cash Transactions on: December 09, 2019, 03:19:15 PM

They're introducing transaction limits, not bans on cash altogether, and it means there's just more paperwork if someone has to go over the limit. A lot of people start using wechat and alipay voluntarily anyway out of convenience (although I'm sure there's some behind the scenes influence from the Chinese government themselves to push people into using these apps).

I'm sure that someone in the Chinese government will stand to benefit with this cash limits in the future and I don't think it's all abouy corruption since just by the thought alone on having a more digitalized mode of transaction you know it will be much more easier for them to access and know all of our transactions. The government might be going digital because of this where they want to monitor everything and they don't want their citizens to be messing around with regards to their taxes and doing illicit activities at least by going digital they will easily see what's going on in everything they have access too.

1109  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull run is delayed! Halving not helping! Bear go away on: December 08, 2019, 08:05:55 PM
So bull run supposto be on but its not!
If december the bull run Will not start then january just Before taxes its hard to belive that bull run Will start.... Usually january is very bearish.
And why did you even think that December is a date for the bullish market? Also why do you think that January is the month for the bears? This is a perfect example why a month, season, date isn't completely tied up to the same price movement on what they have done before. Historical price movements aren't a good basis for your trades as you aren't really analyzing the current market trends but the past one which is completely irrelevant.

And halving not helping either.

Bitcoin won't be halving their rewards not until May of next year so I'm wondering why you are connecting the halving in 2020 in the current price movement? Are you just reading what other members are saying and basing your decisions because of it? That's completely a careless move on your part believing them without doing any counter checks for yourself.
1110  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Blockchain Android App store? Throwing an idea into the world. [Rant] on: December 08, 2019, 06:43:05 PM
How does the game actually look like? Because I've seen previous rejections before where apps even though they pay out a reward also requires their users to spend some money so these makes it look like a gambling game for Google which for legal purposes isn't allowed. Anyway what you are thinking with a separate app store might be a good idea but the the thing is this will require a lot of resources just to develop a system where your app store eliminates "malicious" softwares, even Google can't do it with their app store.
1111  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Prediction 2019,2020,2024 on: December 08, 2019, 05:36:09 PM
I got a feeling that you just posted random bullish numbers and pretend that you know anything about technical analysis so that you just as what's our real opinion on that matter? Don't do this again and just ask what you really want to ask and maybe post your real analysis in the future when you know how to do TA. With the given long timeline you presented it's really hard to picture a long term price when we solely basing it on their price chart since there are a lot of external factors involve that could change the outcome, that's why it's best to have analysis on no long periods over a year since the longer you set your analysis the more inaccurate it can be, you can look at previous predictions/analysis here in the forum and you will see that they most long term predictions are wrong.
1112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO/IEO projects are lying to airdrop and bounty participants for a long time! on: December 08, 2019, 04:08:58 PM
Don't say "$50 worth of tokens". But rather say "$50 worth of tokens in ICO/IEO price", so that people like me may be aware that the reward we get is not what we expect. There is 99.99% chance that the reward we get are going down to shit, and only 0.01% chance that it would actually go to the moon!

I think that's what they meant when they are saying "50$ worth of [insert token name]" in the first place because where would they even based their prices from if it's not from their own offered ICO price? I know it's really disappointing for some but this is how it works most projects here who doesn't have a lot of future will bump their offered price since this is what most devs think is the highest it will go at the same time be attractive for potential investors. So really even if you are just participating for the ICO even for it's bounty you should practice "Caveat Emptor" just like what other investors do by doing background checks for the project itself and not just joing multiple bounties as you can because you will just be wasting your time.
1113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Andy Ruiz vs Anthony Joshua II on: December 08, 2019, 03:04:18 PM
All I can say is that I got fooled by the boxing media again by making it look like that Andy Ruiz has shed some fat about a month ago and on match day it looks like Ruiz is really out of shape just like the last match. AJ on majority of the match played it safe keeping his distance and using only jabs to gain some points that's why he won via UD but it was on the eight round where I saw AJ did some carelessness again and Ruiz took advantage of it but it wasn't enough to knock him down. Nice win for AJ and I could say that he had learned from his previous match, a lot of people are saying that Ruiz is already a one hit wonder but I doubt it is the case since AJ is just the better boxer that day.

1115  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Two malicious Python libraries caught stealing SSH and GPG keys on: December 07, 2019, 08:02:10 PM
What are the odds of libraries, browser plug ins, adware and assorted attack vectors being developed to steal crypto private keys? Am I paranoid in thinking there is a potential for harm here? The most common method utilized in hacked crypto exchanges appear to utilize phishing as their primary to go method.

To be honest you aren't that paranoid, if scammers have now reach python libraries this just makes the situation more clearer for us that scammers will try what they can do just to steal our crypto. Before this we only see phishing websites, hyip, email extortion, email scams now we are seeing duplicate copies of Electrum, a clipboard virus disguised as a =https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/clipboard-hijacker-malware-monitors-23-million-bitcoin-addresses/free downloadable radio app, and scam Youtube channels that gives "free" ETH airdrops. Now with all the examples I have given criminals are basically covering everything they can and they are targeting almost everyone just for the chance to steal out crypto, literally no one is safe if we are too careless with what we do online.

Do many hacked crypto exchanges conduct forensics analysis which would identify more insidious methods of attack. Phishing shouldn't be as prevalent as it is in this industry?

I don't think so, they usually handle it once the attack or threat has already happened and this is something they need to change aside from improving their security since prevention is something they need to focus more rather than the cure. They need to spot the vulnerabilities first before even the hackers/scammers spot it themselves.
1116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2 Dice Strategies that Might be Proven Helpful on: December 05, 2019, 08:35:00 PM
Do we really hang on house edge? I think this isn't something that you have to ignore and also I want to remind you that mathmatically every game is set to be profitable for casino on long term. Both strategy that you provided doesn't lessen risk of lose, maybe they can help you to play a little bit more time but if time is what you are looking for, just bet  0.00000001 btc and you will be ok.
Also if you are still looking to build new strategies or test current ones, you can use mydicebot's simulator to get result of what will happen on long term.

Well in a dice game you can be the one who can determine the risk involve in every bet you make. The more riskier you set the percentages on the more reward you will have but of course the more chances you will lose your bet. That's why I always stick with the house edge at least this has the chance to double my money even just like how any normal gambling casinos are. When it comes to strategy I really don't implement any not unless you count stopping while winning as a strategy my bets are always based on what I'm feeling and not based on some kind of pattern or order I need to do in every bet. This is gambling it should be fun and applying a strategy where there is really no guarantee of winning will just widen my loss if the strategy doesn't favor me during that time.
1117  Economy / Economics / Re: Hi Excuse me Are currencies a "store of value on: December 05, 2019, 07:56:32 PM
where there is gold, there will be banknotes that will be printed according to the value of gold, but even though there is no gold, paper money continues to be printed, whether that way will continue to have value, I think not, in my country more and more prices are rising and not according to income, a small example if in the past 10 years ago I could buy a lot with $ 100 now it might be a lot less, but it's different from bitcoin and crypto currencies if we compare the values from 10 years ago until now, I want to see the failure of banks and countries who went bankrupt for defending a financial system like this that should have been replaced by something new, who knows what? I'm not saying bitcoin and cryptocurrency, but let time be the answer  Wink

I think the answer here why there are still money being printed all around the world is because we all have a government running our country and this is there basis as a legal tender. Whether or not they are valuable solely depends on the country's economical performance and even though they technically lose value because of inflation still this is considered to be a sign of demand rather than a bad thing it is actually a sign of growth in a country. Because not all kinds of inflation are bad as there is an acceptable rate and there are the ones that aren't. What you are also asking for is really not a good idea as well, why would you wish something like that when a lot of lives are at risk?
1118  Other / Meta / Re: Cryptotalk campaign thread is a mirror echo of the yobit thread... on: December 05, 2019, 07:14:30 PM
my prediction is it may be a short delay until the payout wallet is filled (1 month or so total)...  but it will happen again.
And the delay will increase....   maybe not the first time, but once the delay increases for the first time, it is almost certain to get longer thereafter.

This is just a prediction.

The problem here is they accept a lot of participants even though they know their balances are limited so they fail to pay them all out just in time for their balances to be refilled. If they only find a way to have a sustainable number of participants and not actually make their campaign open for all then I'm sure that this kinds of problem won't happen again. I know Yobit/Cryptotalk wants to boost their presence here in the forum that's why they want to have a lot of participants as much as possible but they should also consider that they are ruining their reputation every time that there are hiccups like this on how they handle things.
1119  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [StrandHogg] Android user vulnerability on: December 05, 2019, 06:32:18 PM
About a month or so I was reading news about this xHelper app that was also available in the playstore where the users who have downloaded it has virtually no solutions on completely removing the app that even factory resetting your phone won't completely wipe it out, and this app's only activity is to pop ads in your phone, the sad thing about this is Google didn't answer in any kind of solution for the users who got victimized by this app downloaded to their play store. So which leads me to point that I think Google needs to step up their game when it comes to screening the apps being put into the Playstore since literally any developer can upload a file there. They should really test the apps first before they even make it available to see if they are clean and safe for the users to download.
1120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: U.S. In Danger Of Losing Position As World’s Capital Markets Leader on: December 05, 2019, 05:53:30 PM
I think that Gary Cohn is reaching in terms of USA going down because they aren't fast enough when it comes to crypto adoption. If we are talking about the capital market then we are involving stocks and bonds which are considerably bigger than the crypto industry right now. Yes USA might be lagging in terms of their crypto indsutry but they are still leading with the other capital markets overall. Right now the crypto industry is small but if we are talking about the potential growth they will have this is where Gary Cohn is correct and you cannot deny the big potential the crypto industry have when it comes to raising capital. ICOs are much easier to be issued compared to IPOs, there is a considerable guarantee that anyone can participate, and a lot of crypto platforms are available for them to trade it all of this is the advantage of the crypto market and if this becomes bigger than stocks might be defeated by crypto in the future.
