1241  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: 150 million taxpayers will have to answer this crypto ques on new IRS Tax Form on: November 03, 2019, 04:06:24 PM
You should keep in mind that they are using the word "virtual currency" here and not just "cryptocurrency" I think they are being too lose about this matter and are covering all kinds of income earned virtually and that is counting money received from online payments like Paypal or Payoneer. This might not just be crypto related anymore but the updated form is about the rise of the digital age we have now and I think the US government is aware that a lot of people are earning through the use of the internet may it be cryptocurrencies or any kind of payments receive via online payments and I think it's what's this form all about.
1242  Other / Meta / Re: Is it not allowed to sell guest posts on this forum? on: November 02, 2019, 09:28:48 PM
The OP listened and has considerably improved his service announcement post on the right section as well. For the OP might I suggest that you also include the names of the sites you made available for guest posting for the members to see/visit the sites mentioned beforehand. Next time if you don't want your post/s to be deleted or at least reported you must make it clear or be on point on what you are trying to say to avoid other members on second guessing what your post is really about.
1243  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: {Warning}: Fake Litecoin giveaway website on: November 02, 2019, 07:57:36 PM

Website is also posting fake transactions at the bottom part of their page, at first I thought this was real transactions and they are fooling a lot of people sending money to them. But if you tried clicking the tx ids you will just be redirected to their website again. Aside from that if you look at their address in the block explorer you won't see this transactions happening in their address and their last real transaction happened 6 hours ago. This only means that they are still fooling a lot of people judging from the LTC they are receiving.

1244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 31, 2019, 10:12:03 PM
At least AC Milan won this match. Although not very satisfied with the results of just one goal. The AC Milan level team should be able to make more goals. And this is Stefano Pioli first win in Serie A

If you have watched the game you will be. The way they played the game is more than the numbers we see in the paper. To be honest during the first half I was tempted to turn off my tv but the good thing is I still watched the rest of match and just right after the 2nd half started you will see how eager they are to put that ball in the back of the net, yeah sure Paqueta made a mistake on not passing the ball on time leading to Hernandez being offside but at least Suso delivered on a great goal off the bench. #SusoOut no more.
1245  Economy / Reputation / Re: Flagging User Azlaxe for Identity Fraud on: October 31, 2019, 07:26:59 PM
Its good you also left a negative feedback on the user's profile. AFAIK, the newbie warning flag only appears on threads started by the suspected scammer and most of the user's posts are replies on threads in which newbies would not see the warning.

Make that two negative tags for this guy, he deleted his actual posts and maybe got scared because of the red tag. Fake passports and driver's licenses are illegal in every country you go and he just outright selling them for a 100$ he clearly is having a business of a criminal being promoted here. However this is just one of many people who are selling fake bank accounts and illegal ids and they are more commonly found in the digital goods section here in the forum. I also have supported the flag but I doubt we will be receiving any kind of activities from him with this account any time soon.
1246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 31, 2019, 06:14:29 PM
Transfer Rumors: AC Milan & Inter Compete to get Rakitic.

Rakitic this season did not have many opportunities to play at Barcelona. Rakitic has only just started in La Liga. Rumors have left Rakitic after saying that he is uncomfortable with the situation right now. Inter Milan is one of the teams that flashlight is associated with Rakitic.

Italian media such as Calciomercato and La Gazzetta dello Sport report that AC Milan are also interested in Rakitic. In fact, the 31-year midfielder was named as the main target in January.
If the rumours are true then i would really love seeing him leave Barcelona. He would be a great addition to Inter Milan. I just want to see the Juventus monopoly of the Seria A gone. It has become to boring.

AC Milan is a lost cause. It would take lots of money to revive the quickly sinking team. I believe Rakitic's decision would also be based on playing in Champion's league if he was to chose between the 2 milans

AC Milan is not a sinking team but I also don't think that Rakitic can somehow change the tides for the team so I really don't like this transfer to happen. I don't even like deals coming from Barcelona as Rakitic's asking price for him would be higher compared to similarly skilles football players. Also I'm not seeing any kind of traction regarding this deal especially when they are moire focus on getting youngsters right now more specifically Sandro Tonali which I think no one in the Serie A league is competing from them on signing him as of the moment.
1247  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Top 5 Cryptocurrency TA Indicators on: October 31, 2019, 03:26:02 PM
Like your disclaimer in the article there is really no “best” indicator out there and based from my experience the success of those indicators depends on who is using it. What you have mentioned in your article might just be the most common and also the basic indicators newbies have to know before they even dive in to indicators such as bollinger bands, Fibonacci , and Ichimoku which are some kind of hybrid created from the basics. Whether it's the basics or the advance indicators both requires understanding for its users.
1248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Andy Ruiz vs Anthony Joshua II on: October 30, 2019, 08:07:37 PM
Anybody else seen the latest pictures of Andy Ruiz lol, he looks heavier than he did in the first fight with Joshua, despite apparently losing a ton of weight.

I think he's going to come in approximately the same weight as before, which probably isn't a bad thing since he'll need that insulation to take some of AJ's shots.

Maybe a bookie should put a prediction market on Ruiz's prefight weight? I'm betting 270

I've watched a clip of him in Youtube which I think was uploaded just last week and I have to disagree with you maybe "heavier" is not the right term use here since he clearly lost weight but he physically gained a lot of muscles at the same time. So maybe the right word is "swole" he might even have more muscle mass compared to AJ now. Keep in mind that Andy Ruiz still has about a month left and he really looks prepared physically he even mentioned in the interview that he still intends to lose another 10 lbs before the official weight in and that weight cut I think will be converted to a more endurance type of boxer for Andy Ruiz.
1249  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adoption: A technical challenge on: October 30, 2019, 06:48:43 PM
Bitcoin mass-adoption is subject to technical developments that should and can happen simultaneously in three critical fields: Decentralization, Scaling and Privacy.

If you are looking for things that can affect Bitcoin's mass adoption then we have a complete opposite view about it. Mass adoption won't really start without the support of our own governments, two out of the three fields you have mentioned won't really be given by the government namely decentralization and privacy is something is what they are concerned the most mainly because of the crimes and illicit activities revolving around the industry. The mass adoption won't really take place if you just focus on the internal factors you are mentioning about technical development since it's already there and really the only thing missing is to be supported by the government. External factors (governments/lawmakers) are really want you need to start looking for since this literally will be the green light for all the developments happening within in the industry.
1250  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-10-29] Avalon Bitcoin Miner Maker Canaan Officially Files for $400 Million on: October 30, 2019, 05:46:39 PM
Might be a bad timing for Chinese companies in particular to go public in the United States especially when there is a silent trade war going on with both countries. They are not even a public company in their own company yet and they still strive to go public in a foreign country where they are enemies with. I know that ones filed with their attractive IPO they'll get those US investors' money pouring in but the question is will the US SEC let them to do so? They might have a slim chance on this one but I won't get my hopes up especially when this news about an IPO started in February this year.

Good point, but perhaps Canaan wanted to be the first and is willing to take the risk to bring their IPO stateside so maybe, just maybe they could end up successful in the long run. The ball is now on the SEC, they have filed all the necessary documents all they can do it wait. Of course upon approval this can really put a lot of positive vibes in the market and competitions between Bitmain and Canaan will go on the next level.

I really don't think they are risking anything because they have nothing to lose in the first place. All you need to have an IPO in the stock market is reaching the minimum of 200 million market cap which I think would be pretty easy for them. But like I said the only thing that will be holding them back is the negative earnings they have and of course being a Chinese company wanting to enter in the US market, the SEC and the administration will just view it as the Chinese are taking money out from them.
1251  Economy / Economics / Re: How many bitcoiners on here have actually used bitcoin/crypto for commerce? on: October 29, 2019, 08:37:33 PM
If you first think about it you'll think that Bitcoin is only accepted online through websites of big companies especially when you are living on a country where BTC is not known but basing it from my personal experience you'd be surprised to know that even people who just advertise their product online accepts Bitcoin and even some other crypto for payments. I won't go into too much detail but I am part of several sneaker groups on my country and one of sellers of the shoe I want happens to be accepting crypto, it was really the perfect timing since I was low in cash and BTC is the only payment I have that time so I contacted him before anyone else grab that shoe. They may not be a lot of them accepting crypto but this is a start and I was fortunate enough that this reputable seller is accepting other payments aside from cash.
1252  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Free Crypto logos for your projects on: October 29, 2019, 07:51:28 PM
Yea yea yea, people can freely use these logos for their project with just changing the color or flip existing project logos, or cutting some part of it but it won't be interesting for a potential investors as they would think the team of a project is not creative enough.

At least if a project does that we know what projects are potential scams in the first place or at least see teams that lacks effort when it comes to their project because it really tells a lot. Aside from them altering the logos onto their projects these logos have other uses as well like what you just have mentioned about coinmarketcap having them, other sites can use it in their projects like exchanges and articles or even a website about crypto. This isn't really meant just for creating more logos as it has other uses like what I have said.

So far, mataas naman ang ratings sa google play but I can't tell kung users ba talaga yung mga nagbibigay ng matataas na review or mga kasamahan or promoters din nila. Kung sakaling may interesado subukan yung wallet, please post your review here.

Wag kayo basta basta magpapaniwal sa rating nila, gaya ng ibang project meron din silang mga ways to promote and boost their ratings and halata naman sa mga reviews nila na hindi it makatotohanan. Lahat ng makikita nya "Love the appearance" o "such a wonderful wallet" o mga iba pang linyahan na ganyan. Hindi naman sa hinuhusgahan ko sila and proud Filipino ako pero obvious naman eh pag-nakakita ka ng ganitong review na walang sinasabing cons ito ay mga nabayadan or padded reviews lang para mag-mukhang maganda sa app store.

1255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 29, 2019, 04:31:04 PM
The bright side is finally the warriors won a game after they loss in double digits in their last 2 games.
People lose their hope on the warriors but they bounce back today by winning double digit too, actually if they are the old warriors, Pelicans will be dominated hard when the lead ballooned to 20 points, but Warriors allowed a run but still good that they end up winning in this game.

congratulations to the warriors for winning.

People are already seeing the difference with the absence of Durant with the Warriors the team isn't really what it supposed to be even Patrick Beverly called some shots that they have “cheated” when Durant was on the team. But on the bright side the last offseason from trades, drafts, and the freeagency it somehow balanced all the teams in the NBA. Even if the Warriors are sucking now other fans from other teams finally have the chance to see some more Ws in the season.
1256  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cryptopump - Ponzi scheme on: October 29, 2019, 02:52:53 PM
It really makes you wonder if the people to join these kinds of scams are really victims or they join this kinds if scams  willingly and are accepting the risk hoping that they will earn from it somehow. What makes people like this join a scam is the affiliate system they have where even if they don't put in any money thry still have a cut from their referrals “if” they earn. This won't really stop not unless no one will take interest in this and people in the industry will get smarter to avoid this.
1257  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Can you patent open source software ? on: October 28, 2019, 08:15:10 PM
So when it comes to intellectual property I'm kinda new on what is patentable and what is copyrightable since in it sense majority of the technology we have falls under patents and things like literature, song lyrics, artistic works, and even architectural design falls under copyright laws. One big example I have that confuses me is this.

IBM Files Patent for a Blockchain-Based Web Browser

This is just one of the many examples how companies try to patent blockchain technology, Patent and not copyright it. Just like what I provided what they are trying to claim a patent are both codes namely the blockchain technology as well as the web browser they are trying to develop yet they can still pursue a patent claim for it. This might not just be a normal understanding for us and with smart lawyers we have they might have a way around on pursuing that much more lucrative patent they are trying to get rather than just a copyright for the codes itself. So I'm leaning to say that codes and softwares can be both copyrighted and patented and there might even be a precedents about it.
1258  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it WORTH investing ALTS RIGHT NOW? on: October 28, 2019, 07:07:00 PM
Considering events from last week and bullish BTC movement. Is it smarter to just buy BTC and wait or explore some alts and try to profit now (keep in mind i'm not an experienced trader <6 months)
Appreciate the help!

There's no straight answer for your question especially when Bitcoin and Altcoins aren't moving unanimously all of the time. If you visit coinmarketcap frequently you will sometimes see that Bitcoin is the only one in green and the rest of the market is in a bloodbath sometimes it's the other way around and the only thing in red is Bitcoin (this is sometimes called the alt season). With that kind of market you will get a general perspective that even traders who are already in the market are venturing onto other coins to take profit that's why we see alts going down while BTC is going up or vice versa because even them are offloading position just to take profit onto other cryptocurrencies in the market.
1259  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, Teacup, 1 hour candle chart on: October 28, 2019, 04:21:04 PM
So things didn't look goo already for this cup and handle pattern as we only have the highest wick to reach around 9,950$ which isn't ideal for a good cup and handle pattern. Now we are attempting to form the handle part which really has a low chance of being bullish now. I would still monitor for the last “U” to form and see where it will take the prices but I wouldn't say that will have a bullish reversal in this pattern.
1260  Economy / Speculation / Re: Let this rise be a lesson - Bitcoin isn't strongly tied to anything on: October 28, 2019, 02:35:26 PM
Well, today Bitcoin went up by 14% ($1,000) without absolutely no reason - nothing important happened today that could have shaken the price so much. Let this be a lesson to people who look for patterns - Bitcoin is random and unpredictable in short terms, just accept it.

I know this is true and most of us traders here have seen the price movement before even the news comes up but the problem here is these crypto news sites are so perseverant on looking for some news tying it to Bitcoin's movement. These have been more relevant if it had shown its connection before the price movement but almost all the time it comes after the price movement which we cannot really use on our trades at all. It's all just noise at the end, a noise that we can't use.
