1261  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, Teacup, 1 hour candle chart on: October 27, 2019, 08:06:37 PM
I was looking at the 1 hour candle for the Bitcoin chart at Trading View.  It looks like the handle is coming soon?

Like I said the cup hasn't even formed yet, it needs to reach at least the 10,000$ level for it to form a cup and then proceed and try and form a handle, if it goes down now then this isn't a cup and handle pattern

So that means it will be bullish afterwards?  How about if the handle does not come, it will be bearish?

Yes we can be bullish afterwards that's if the cup and handle formation becomes successful. But anytime now this formation can be invalidated with just a quick breakdown of the pattern, meaning if we have red candles on its succeeding hours.
1262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 27, 2019, 07:07:15 PM
It wasn't until AC Milan's match against Roma that I realized that the team isn't bad offensively but the problem here is they aren't good at finishing with a goal. From Paqueta's disallowed goal and a lot of times the ball went to the box I can't believe how many chances they missed to finish. It may be lack of coordination or communication or they are too late at creating opportunities when they are inside the box but all I can say it's really awful to see them like this. It's not too late to improve and this team I think still need to adjust having a new manager again, its still early in the season to tell that they aren't at least a top five team in the league and they still have the January transfer window to improve on some places particularly the forward position.
1263  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, Teacup, 1 hour candle chart on: October 27, 2019, 06:16:17 PM
Are you referring to the cup and handle pattern? If it is then you are right Bitcoin might be forming a "teacup" pattern on its hourly chart and it's generally a bullish pattern, the only problem is where are nowhere near the handle part as of the moment and this might not be a cup and handle pattern at all we still have to reach the 10,000$ level to form the "cup" part of it and the only way to confirm it is to check out Bitcoin after 7-8 candles have been formed. Lastly hourly charts are not ideal if you aren't looking to profit on a day's end, if you look at the daily chart it ain't forming any cup and handle pattern and this might just be a break out for the short term period.
1264  Economy / Reputation / Re: MYCRO JOBS: Cheat, corruption, scam, KYC only three days for prize hunters. on: October 27, 2019, 05:06:35 PM
I get you 100% that the devs are scammers and deserve a red tag if they would have an account here. I would give it right away. But my problem is that I have difficulties in supporting the flag against the independent bounty manager who seems to be hired by the scammers. If I start tagging him as an independent bounty manager I would have to tag all other bounty managers where a bounty turned out to be a KYC-scam. So for supporting the flag I need a very strong proof that the bounty manager is a part of the team and involved in the scam by supporting it.

Maybe that's also the reason why your flag hasn't sufficient support yet because the manager seems to be related to them but not with final proof. I checked his profile and he managed also some other campaigns before.

That's the sad and risky part of being a bounty manager, they are the ones who can only be tagged from the devious activities of the project and he has totally no say or control on it. Sudden allocation changes and KYC requirement is not his job to do but that is what the project devs are asking him to do so. Tagging him won't solve anything and won't make the team to pay the right amount as well as pull out the KYC requirement. Since the bounty manager is the only one linking the project to the forum then he automatically becomes part of the liable party which shouldn't be in the first place, he might even be a victim here.
1265  Other / Meta / Re: Can not post, IP blocked on: October 27, 2019, 04:08:14 PM
I tried to make a couple of posts to the main bitcoin discussion. I am using a VPN, but the first time I tried positing my VPN was actually switched off, so I'm not sure what's going on.

I never had a problem posting before.

If you are using those free VPNs then chances are those IP addresses being provided already have some units of evil on them. They don't change the IP addresses they are using that is why people registering from it and got banned have piled up the units of evil on that IP address. But if you can't post while your VPN is off maybe your ISP is providing you a Dynamic IP address and every once in a while the IP address being provided to you is the one that has units of evil on it.
1266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a Tech not "Manna" from the skies! on: October 27, 2019, 03:04:43 PM
People got the message but there is more to it for BTC rather than just a Peer-to-peer payment system. It may not be in stated in the whitepaper but as an investor's/trader's perspective BTC is something that can actually make your rich or at least earn from it. Satoshi didn't mention anything about it's price or how volatile it will be in the market but with the results we have on how it fluctuates and how it has risen through the years you will get the point on why people are saying this and how the news media is saying BTC can act as a "safe haven" when a financial crisis comes.
1267  Economy / Economics / Re: Report: More Than 50% of the Worlds Banks May Be Too Weak To Survive A Recession on: October 27, 2019, 02:14:53 PM
Banks are the real enemy of the people, I once worked in a commercial bank in Nigeria, I had to resign because of the volume of work they pile on me and pay peanut, I happen to be part of some cost management in my local branch, we spend money on many useless things and careless about staff warfare compare to what we spend huge money on. Banks are the real bad guys when they are distressed, they get a bailout.

I wouldn't say that they are the enemy here since they have also given you a job, banks are one of the biggest boosters of the economy in a country even though they are paying you "peanuts" they are still paying you and if you don't want it you have an option to do your best to get promoted or leave them for a better paying job. Banks are there to finance people who are in need may it be a loan for a business or anything you want to buy on credit. If this recession hits hard on banks then for sure that the economy will also be affected greatly.
1268  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-10-26] Crypto Owners in US Have Risen 81% YTD on: October 27, 2019, 01:11:46 PM
I have a feeling that if that number hits triple digits (north of 100 million people) we might start to see some more pro-bitcoin voices in the legislative assembly both in the congress and the senate floor. Because that's how politics work, if the politicians sees a group rising it's numbers they will find its way to support it to gather some votes in the upcoming election, some might care about the crypto industry in the country but of course the number of potential voters is what attracts them in the first place. It's just like that's how politics work, find an oppress group to promote and be an advocate for it.
1269  Local / Pamilihan / Re: News/Events/Happenings on crypto in one website on: October 24, 2019, 07:28:00 PM
I'm really not that type of person that relies on my daily crypto news on crypto specialty news sites, much more on a news curator that gets sources from those sites.
1270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips/Suggestions for NBA Fantasy (Head-to-Head) on: October 24, 2019, 06:34:04 PM
Update on my Matchday #1

So my team did pretty well mostly during October 23 since most of the players' games I drafted happened during this day and I have quickly won 8 out of the 9 cats. One thing to note that is Kemba Walker, my second rounder, did underperform on his first game and it was disappointing but fortunately Mitchell, Brogdon, and Towns stepped up during this day. Nobody had requested any trades from me yet but I'm expecting to receive one after a week or two of seeing how the other players want to improve their team. I personally need a PF/C so bad since all of my Centers can only play one position and this can potentially leave me one player short on some days.

1271  Economy / Speculation / Re: [2019-10-24] Bitcoin Price Crashed Today: 2 Reasons on: October 24, 2019, 04:17:16 PM
It's the norm in the crypto market that everytime Bitcoin's price crashes news media will try to connect it on events that had happened that day as well. Like what they did on how Trump is the reason for the crash of Bitcoin on December 2017. They always link it to other news when the whole truth is just in the charts, like what I have said in my previous post Bitcoin formed an evening star pattern on its last three candles before it fell down and any trader would understand that it's one of the bearish patterns to form in trading.
1272  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin’s Rise Neutralizes Bearish Mood on: October 23, 2019, 08:36:15 PM
I cannot even call it a "price bounce" especially when Bitcoin was literally just hovering around that price area.

No, it wasn't a bounce at all.  Maybe a very small one, but it wasn't meaningful.  What *is* meaningful is bitcoin performing a little plummet in the past 24 hours, and what a difference a day makes, right?

So much for neutralizing the bearish mood.  Let us clink glasses together and make a toast to the bottom, which I'm hoping bitcoin has reached.  I am realistic about what could happen but I'm also trying to be as optimistic as I can be in the face of a serious bearish mood.  Very gloomy with a chance of failure.

It's not a bounce that's it a 2 to 3% price gain isn't what you call a bounce since it's near the price range on where Bitcoin is currently moving. The the green candle we have seen yesterday is just people who have pump it and short it after. It's really expected since Bitcoin is still on a bearish phase and I really don't expect BTC to go back up above 8,500$ shortly specially when the MACD and RSI all points out to be bearish.
1273  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Bitcoins are still illegal in Pakistan? on: October 23, 2019, 07:37:59 PM
Bitcoin's Legality page in Wikipedia isn't really that accurate anymore it's not that updated and literally anyone can edit it. Just by searching the words "Bitcoin Pakistan" you will see a lot of crypto exchanges, wallets, and  news signifying that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are allowed to be traded in Pakistan. So I'm not really aware of Bitcoin's status in Pakistan and it might be best if you consult the ones living there about it (here is their local thread), but even if the country has officially declared Bitcoin illegal you will see no enforcement of what type making it possible for this kinds of trades to happen, of course the only thing bad here is if you get scammed or your cryptos are stolen then you don't have the right to claim or retrieve the illegal asset with the help from their authorities.
1274  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crypto prices, trades & volume in realtime excluding fake volume on: October 23, 2019, 07:00:05 PM
I've seen an article about you which I saw in the press section of the forum and I'm still a bit skeptical on how accurate you will calculate and segregate the fake volume from crypto exchanges, even removing the -/+ 5% won't be enough for you to have the true volume on each exchange. So can you explain a little bit more on how or what you will do to remove those "strange volume" in their data and what you will do to identify them? How do you even consider one to be a strange behavior in the first place?
1275  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin’s Rise Neutralizes Bearish Mood on: October 23, 2019, 06:23:29 PM
I cannot even call it a "price bounce" especially when Bitcoin was literally just hovering around that price area. If you look at Bitcoin's tradingview chart now (on to any exchange) you will see that it has formed what trader's call an "Evening Star" pattern which is a popular three candle pattern to signify a bearish reversal, the second or middle candle signifies the highest prices among the three candles which in this case has reached 8,350$ the last candle only confirms the bearish reversal. Hopefully this candle will be invalidated with a quick bounce up but that is just wishful thinking and what we can do now is prepare and observe for the next movement.
1276  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance is earning only $20,00 per day on transaction fees charge?? on: October 23, 2019, 04:36:55 PM
~snip~
But likely they made huge profits from the BNB token since the last year since it is one of the best doing crypto in terms of price so just added this to OP's statement of they are only making 7.2 million per year, they made lot more than what we think actually.
Obviously fees from transaction fees aren't there only source of revenue so as other companies do. They also have IEOs and other projects that they can have revenue with. But do not expect that the 7.2 million is gained whole as they also have operating cost involved from salaries of their employees to fixed costs such as rents and server operations. With that kind of expenses you know why some exchanges downsize or worst don't even last it's because their income isn't fixed while their expenses remains the same.
1277  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Entherfound - Plagiarism whitepaper on: October 22, 2019, 08:46:30 PM
I took the liberty on creating a flag against the Entherfound and I think the evidence is enough to say that they are trying to scam members here. From having a plagiarized whitepaper to faking their own existence I think it's enough to say that they haven't told anything but lies at this point. Keep it up OP you are doing a pretty good job.

1278  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance is earning only $20,00 per day on transaction fees charge?? on: October 22, 2019, 07:56:07 PM
But don't forget BNB which got the total marketcap value of nearly 3 billion which is itself their profits right? They created this token from nowhere and made this into a huge profit so the transactions fees were just extra bonus.

Market cap of a cryptocurrency cannot be considered as a revenue for the project team itself since it's taking up the overall supply of the token multiplied to its current price. If I remembered it correctly 40% of the total supply of BNB was allocated to the team of Binance and not Binance as a company, meaning the employees are the ones sharing the profit and not the company itself which means its not a revenue for Binance. Additionally I know that they are burning the coins allocated to the team which I think they have done several times already and they will keep doing that until their own supply is all burned, this completely eliminates any rumors that they kept almost half of it just for profit.
1279  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Misconceptions about Bitcoin and Altcoins on: October 22, 2019, 07:11:44 PM
One of the newbie mistake/misconception I have is when I thought that tokens and altcoins are the same thing when in fact they are completely different from one another.  I thought that after Bitcoin every other cryptocurrencies can either be called tokens and altcoins without them differentiating from the two. The thing is Altcoins have their own blockchains while tokens are only dependent on the blockchain they reside in on part of that Altcoin. With this my whole concept in participating ICOs became different and look less for tokens and watch more on Altcoins that has the potential to grow, I'm not saying all tokens are bad but it's better to look into the one who has the blockchain tech first rather than the ones who are created in it.
1280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 22, 2019, 06:25:01 PM

They may be bad but they aren't the type of team to fall in Serie B again because the last time they got relegated is for their punishment for the Totonero 1980. And bro get real comparing the rest of the Serie B teams out there and even the top ones in Serie A the money that AC Milan has is completely different compared to the financial support on majority of the Italian football teams they have, the money alone can at least keep them afloat in Serie A, without that they can't make transfers, a new stadium, and coaching changes in this kind of season.

I don't think they will go in Serie B but they are risking it.
Keep in mind they probably will sell players on January.

They will still have good players to keep their position on Seria A but the talent on football is not everything if players will lose their psychological component the team will risk the fail.

Then this is music to my ears, half of the fans are already calling a major rebuild for Elliot Management to do and with several managers AC Milan had in a short time frame then we all know its not the coaching part we are also missing, we lack quality players to be relevant in Serie A football again and this is one of the things that is pissing me in all the years I followed Milan as a fan. Honestly we hadn't had a good season after they sold Ibra, Thiago Silva, and Pato and I'm looking for the new owner to spend money in bringing in some of their replacements. If they have an overhaul of players as early as January then I think it's the time we will see some good development on the team.
