401  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is not very easy; it took my friend a long time to understand. on: December 09, 2023, 11:39:02 AM
If you don't have prior knowledge and experience in trading, then you will really find it hard learning in trading and would definitely take years before you become a pro trader. But that is normal in trading, as majority learned it harder than the easier way. And most probably, if you learned trading the easier way, most likely you are still susceptible to a lot of losses so you need to experience more trading in the market.

Trading is skill driven, not luck driven. And certainly it's not the same with gambling. You need to exert a lot of hardwork and efforts before you can be successful with trading.
You do not "need" to have a prior knowledge about trading itself, but a good mathematical understanding could be fine. I have met with many people, well to be fair most people I know, who can't take % of something from their mind. Like you tell someone what is 20% of 150 dollars, and if they fail to do that from their mind in like less than 5 seconds, then they are not really cut for trading right away, first they should study mathematics a bit if you ask me.

This doesn't mean they need to know mathematics at a high level, I do not mean like you should be Harvard graduate, I mean a simple elementary school level mathematics would be fine, like the example I gave, its simple and if they can't do that quickly then they are not really ready to trade. Its a tough business and its not that easy but it is something that could benefit you when you finally figure out a bit of math. Then you can start learning more about trading and you could do just fine.
402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you deal with high transaction fee on BTC on gambling? on: December 09, 2023, 05:55:54 AM
How do you deal with this problem?
if you don't mind using altcoin when gambling you can always exchange your BTC into an altcoin. I've used XRP in the past when Bitcoin transaction fees were too high for me, altcoins are a great substitution for Bitcoin if the current Bitcoin transaction fee is too high for you.

Right, there are really a lot of options for us, maybe their could be issues for some who are just into bitcoin gambling. I know it's hard, but we need to learn to used other cryptocurrencies too, even if we are bitcoin enthusiast or maximalist.

However, for me I don't think that the high fees will be sustained. There might be a time that we will be back to normal even if we are in a bull run already. So just be patience for those bitcoin gamblers, for now if we are not that comfortable of the transaction fees, just switch to any altcoins for now.
I do believe that it's not sustainable and it would hurt bitcoin as well but I also believe that there is a reason why that happens, which is why I am fine with it, I get that it may feel like that's a big deal but at the same time it's because the price is going higher. I mean we are talking about a situation that would not be all that easy to handle, but I believe that we are going to end up with something that would benefit us when the price is higher as well, which is the most important thing.

I do hope that we can fix it one day, and that should be an important thing, but that doesn't mean that we are going to end up with something that would benefit everyone, it is going to be something that will be both benefiting some, and hurting some other people. The ones who will benefit the most will be people who hold, because those people do not spend that much fee, they just buy and hold, and when it is time to sell the price is higher so they just pay easily.
403  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading advice for newbies on: December 08, 2023, 08:11:43 PM
one thing I would like to add is that in trading practice is harder than theory, yes maybe we understand if we only theorize, but if we do it then it will be more difficult than what is imagined. My advice, when learning about trading then we can directly practice with a demo account.
The problem is not just there, when using a demo account then we will be able to analyze well, but when we are already in trading with real money then believe me it also becomes something difficult. The reason is quite basic, which lies in the mentality. Yes, in a demo account we will not receive pressure, because losing or winning the money we use is not real, but when we use real money then the pressure will affect our mentality.
That part is the most important part there is. There are way too many people who are wrong when they do something like that, and yet they keep on working on paper, and keep trying to get better, and assume that when they start trading they will be good.

The reality is that, if you start trading right away without learning anything then you will be terrible, if you end up learning a lot but do not trade then you will not be good neither. So the assumption is that you need to end up trading, and then you need to end up with something better as well, it should be important. I think if you learn first, then be bad trader for a while and gain experience, eventually you will keep getting better because you know what you should do.
404  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Most Traders are Not Profitable on: December 07, 2023, 09:39:03 AM
It's simple: traders who don't become profitable in trading are obviously ignorant and need to learn more about crypto trading. We know that trading is not easy to learn here; it really takes time before we have an idea here, to be honest.

Just start with the basics and then gradually learn the description of each indicator used in the trading exchange platform, such as candlestick, timeframe, and so on.
more beginners are too hasty to start trading. with very little knowledge about trading, they take such a big risk to start trading. Of course, that will only result in several consecutive losses. after being quite satisfied with the loss, I think it is enough to provide experience to learn more before starting again.
However, some beginners still feel that it is not good to trade using their analysis. but instead believe more and follow trading signals. that's what happened.
I think at the start their analysis will be as bad as following others, and that's why they worry about not doing it themselves. If you worked really hard to figure out what you should buy and the moment you buy it goes down then you would feel sad about it as well, so I understand why they think someone else could be better than them.

But the reality is that on the long term they are making a mistake, because when they first start they will be bad, maybe even worse than what others can help them with so they are right, but then if they keep going, others will be much worse and make them lose money whereas if they insist then their analysis will get better and they will start making a lot more money. This is why I suggest newbies to make mistakes, it will make them lose some money that is true, but that doesn't mean that we are going to see them keep losing forever, eventually they will start to make some money from it as well given enough time.
405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Importance of Gambling to the society on: December 07, 2023, 06:34:50 AM
Gambling giving hope to people playing and staking bets in hopes of a big win someday is not an advantage in any way and certainly not impacting positively in any way to the society. Having hopes of winning a life changing amount due to gambling is more like a dream.
Gambling may have some positive impacts as it’s considered a recreational activity by many. But it’s negative effects apparently visible in irresponsible people in the society has by a large margin, overshadowed any positive effects it may have ever had.
And usually, poor people were involved in gambling hoping for something  --winning big. Unfortunately, this causes problems for them as instead of prioritizing their needs, they are now spending more on gambling and losing their money. Indeed, the government is benefiting more from this while these casino owners are benefiting from gamblers and gamblers get mental stress and financial problems.
I agree that it's going to hurt the poor people even more and that is why they should avoid it at all costs. I get that it may feel like we are talking about gambling here, so it's bad for everyone that much is true and I agree with that, but if we are talking about a rich person gambling then we are talking about a situation where they will be fine, in the end they are rich anyway so it should be quite important for them to win it but at the same time it will not matter for them to lose, since they still have a lot more money left.

But when we are talking about a poor person gambling, then we are talking about people who needs to win, if they lose then they have nothing else left, unlike the rich people. This is why poor people should avoid gambling at all costs, they will end up broke and zero money left a lot quicker and they should not be considering this as something that will be profitable for them, house always wins and the poor will hurt a lot more.
406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 06, 2023, 08:58:32 AM
Rumors are still around Manchester United and now it is reported that they have prepared a £60m offer for Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan. It's a bit strange to see Manchester United's decision because they got their goalkeeper last summer, namely Andre Onana, and now they are preparing to offer another option in January.

I think management is aware that the arrival of Andre Onana has actually worsened the performance of the Red Devils and they have continued to concede goals since the goal was guarded by the former Inter goalkeeper. Erik Ten Hag, who chose Andre Onana, also seems to be starting to let go of the responsibility of the goalkeeper from Cameroon. Well, Manchester United's new transfer round will soon heat up again. Roll Eyes
This could very well be the best transfer they could ever make without a doubt. It would make the team 100 times better, they are playing well aside from the goalkeeper these days, I agree that at the start of the season everyone was playing but for recent games I can say that if it was another decent goalkeeper then they would have won every other game, that was clear.

I feel like if they make this move, they could get rid of Onana as well, maybe they would make a huge huge loss on that deal, and I understand that it may not be a great deal, after all who would want to spend 50+ million and then lose it all, but the reality is that if they have to do that in order to win, then they will have to eat the loss and hope for the best.
407  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at its ATH of 2023 so far on: December 05, 2023, 05:52:00 AM
This is really a positive sign. Something big is really coming to be honest. I checked the price and within 24 hours Bitcoins have actually surprised everyone. If this pace is maintained by the Bitcoins, then definitely at the end of month we might see Bitcoins crossing 60k usd. With this, we will also rise towards a new ath price for the coin. So I would suggest everyone to buy as many coins as you can. This time Bitcoins won’t fall down until and unless it touches 80k USD.
It looks like that's a quite good possibility, we are not even 10% away from that, we are less different and it could very well happen. One day you wake up and it has moved from 39k levels to 41k levels, why not wake up to a day where it's 43k+ as well, and after that it's only matter of time to reach 45k or more.

It's looking quite good and I am hoping that we are going to end up with a good result here and there. I get that it's going to end up being a little bit difficult to pick and choose, but it is definitely a possibility that we could end up with profit by the end of the year. It just keeps growing and growing, that's an awesome situation, and it does provide a lot of benefits as well, I believe we are going to do just fine during this month.
408  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: December 04, 2023, 07:03:00 PM
If Newcastle were to play in Europe, that doesn't mean they could easily beat the clubs in the European League. This season the European League is no less prestigious than the Champions League, especially since many of the best clubs are there. Like Liverpool, this season their performance is starting to improve from last season. Not to mention if later Sevilla will also join in the competition for champions in the European League. Moreover, we know that Sevilla is the holder of the most titles in this competition and their record is that they have never lost in the final round.
The prospect of Newcastle making the jump to the Europa League actually excites me a lot. They might cause a lot of disruptions because of their enthusiasm and ambition. Of course, their first challenge is to overcome AC Milan, which is no easy task. Nevertheless, what if they did? I mean, we love football drama, especially when it involves facing off against Brighton or Liverpool. Nevertheless, it seems a little early to discuss Sevilla at this point. Prior to being taken into consideration as potential Europa League contenders, they have their own obstacles to overcome. There would be much more interest in the competition if they were to succeed. I'm excited for what might be some incredible matches
I think Milan would be even better, Newcastle is great and all but they are not really at that level yet, look at them going at premier league, the yare not that great, they had a good season last year, but this season they are not that awesome. I think it is quite obvious that we are talking about something that should be quite difficult to handle, and for that to keep growing I believe that we need to end up with a better solution to this issue.

Milan is a lot better because they know what they are doing and a perfect tournament team and they are capable of making money the way they want, there is nothing wrong with that and could continue to do whatever they want as long as they want it, that is the better possibility for them.
409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 04, 2023, 06:03:11 PM
Leverkusen are now under the threat of losing the lead to Bayern Munich. Because if Bayern Munich win their missing game they are going to be taking the lead from them. Leverkusen could have won normally but they didn't have a lucky weekend. Despite showing a really impressive performance they had to make do with one point.

But even if Leverkusen lose the lead after this result I don't doubt them about their continuing to be competitive for the league title until the end of the season. They totally deserve to be one of the number one title contenders considering how great they perform.
A good team doesn't think "I am scared if I lose points I may not get the lead back", a good team thinks "even if I ever lose the top spot, I will win every game until I get it back", and if we are thinking that Leverkusen may not get it back, then they are not a good team that deserves the top spot. I am not thinking like that, I feel like even if they lose a few games in a row, they could still end up winning as much as required to win the title in the end, obviously there is a chance they may not, obviously Bayern may get it, but I wouldn't eliminate Leverkusen that easily, they are a pretty strong team that has done so wonderful so far this season and they could play the second half of the season even better as well.

Xabi Alonso has done something magnificent with the team and this is exactly why I keep saying if Ancelotti ends up leaving, Real Madrid should look into bringing Xabi to manage Real, both because he is an awesome manager, but also he played there too so he has connections.
410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big Headline and Crypto Crackdown on: December 04, 2023, 03:12:49 PM
Let me summarize by stating that there are global elements at work, and we have seen manipulations in the crypto market, and I don't believe there is possibility of ETF certification if Binance maintains its present level of power. If you remove the vast center of power away from crypto, you are returning to the conventional large center of influence known as Wall Street. Exactly what will bring all the governing bodies to position and approve regulations.
If CZ is guilty of money laundering like claimed and like he pleaded guilty then I think it is deserved that both him being gone and the company being charged that much. This isn't really a big crackdown issue, it is just reality that if you do money laundering then you are going to end up being a little bit of in guilty there already, so you are going to get reprimand for it as well.

I think it should be noted that we are talking about something that will benefit everyone if we are getting rid of people who are bad and doing bad things at bitcoin, it is going to be the thing that will give them all the benefits and should be something that will do a lot of good. I understand that it may not be all that easy, but can be done.
411  Economy / Economics / Re: Is energy prices about to shoot up? on: December 04, 2023, 11:02:24 AM
In Russian folklore, there's a saying - "who cares about what, but the louse about the bath" Smiley So you - everyone will freeze, there will be no help for Ukraine, blah blah blah Smiley Such squeals have been heard since 2022, when the "great and invincible army of russia", made a terrorist large-scale attack on Ukraine, hoping that no one will help it. Now the Kremlin Fuhrer is whining from his bunker - stop helping Ukraine !  Grin

But let's put aside the morbid complexes of pro-Russian agitators and get back to the topic Smiley

Let's start with general educational questions. The price of gas transportation is not a synonym for "gas price". It is a service provided by private companies to deliver gas. And in the EU it can't just be raised. That is why the author of the post did not provide links to real facts Smiley
Secondly, transportation of gas by private companies has no impact on financial and technical assistance to the country affected by Russian terrorism. For example Germany (they probably don't know yet that gas transportation will become more expensive  Grin ) in the next year's budget will include additional (in relation to 2023) 4 billion euros for military aid to Ukraine. Unexpected, isn't it ? Smiley
I think it's mainly strong because Europe is not stupid enough to just trust some madmen like Russia for all their needs, they will of course buy from them if offered cheaply and when Russia stays calm, but when they go mad, they know what they could do and how to fix it, hell they were ready in an INSTANT to put out their wood stock to heat up the whole continent if they had to, and that shows how much they were ready for a case like this, they probably assumed Russia would go mad one day and they got some other method ready just in case.

So yeah, you are right that energy will not get too worse, plus I remember there were some nuclear factories too right? In France I think, was it? Not sure if those stay exist, but that should be more than enough.
412  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will another ETF be immediately bullish for Bitcoin? on: December 03, 2023, 07:04:49 PM
Whenever an ETF is approved, whether it is sometime next year or a few years from now, it'll definitely cause a large spike in price. After the spike could be some people will try to sell the spike to crash it back down some, but the overall price effect will be very positive.

And that's just of course the news of an announcement. Once the ETF(s) start operating and billions of dollars start buying up Bitcoin that'll of course also cause a large price spike.
IDK if what is the status of it now but we can see last time, that even if it was just a rumor, the price already skyrocket, so how much more by the time it was approved for real right? Not sure how effective ETF for BTC mean, but it seems positive. And helps BTC to be among with other established companies or their assets/stocks. It makes it more popular and many investors will not be afraid on it anymore.

It's not that people are crashing it because they want to buy less, but people naturally sell in order to earn a massive profit. Apart from BTC, there are also rumors that ETH will be approved too as an ETF. Each are different but both of them were still a crypto, so BTC and other coins can still benefit with it.
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it still risky to Invest into Altcoin now? on: December 03, 2023, 02:48:32 PM
All financial investment has their own risk whether we are investing in the Crypto market or other financial markets.
Whether we are Bitcoin investors or altcoins investors, there are different level of risks that we need to take to become profitable.
We can make huge profits from the market if we know how to identify good altcoins and invest in them. There are crypto projects that can give us like 100x to 1000x depending on how liquidity and strong the team are.

Yes indeed, there are risk factors involved with all the financial investments but what I tried to define here is that Altcoin contains more risk than Bitcoin and it's pretty obvious that it has capability to give much higher return but we shouldn't sideline the fact that only few Altcoins can be successful and give profit as rest would fail like they did in the past. Everyone will have different opinions and majority of us don't want to risk everything and we are okay with gradual profits but a guaranteed one instead of quick profit with risk potential of losing it all.
Bitcoin is a safer investment due to its market presence and resiliency. Diversification is missing from this story. Few Altcoins can generate significant returns, but their volatility and unpredictability emphasize strategic investment.

Isnt investing about risk-reward? Are we missing out on creative Altcoins that could change the industry by preferring Bitcoin? The majority may fail, but a few may change the game. This is a measured, well-researched method to diversifying one's portfolio with Bitcoin as the backbone, not the entire thing.
This is why I like the top names, get 50%+ btc, get 25-30% ETH and get like 10-20% levels of bnb, that's 100% and you just have three. I understand that it may not look promising for BNB at the moment and had some trouble but people are still showing support which means it may do great in the future, so it would be smarter to have a situation where we just end up doing the best we could, keep on trying our best and it would be quite entertaining on the long run when you think about it.

I understand that it is not going to be all that much of a trouble, we need to just focus on the top names. Or, if you really want just bitcoin then that is fine too, there is nothing wrong with having only the bitcoin and nothing more than that.
414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why the rich win gambling more than the poor. on: December 03, 2023, 06:02:15 AM
Rich people have freedom when gambling, the large capital in their pockets makes them calmer when betting. Rich people can also play longer, of course because of the money they have. Luck in gambling sometimes takes longer to come, the longer they gamble the greater the chance of winning. Imo
Meanwhile, poor people are under pressure, they will play carefully, due to limited money. They might miss the opportunity to win big due to placing a small bet. It's not that poor people never win at gambling, the result of playing at small bets makes it seem like they never get big wins.
That is true because the luck factor cannot be predicted when it will come. With that larger capital, a rich gambler can gamble longer than an ordinary gambler, and maybe in the 100th round, the rich gambler will manage to win a big win that can get a big multiplier. This will turn the situation around where rich gamblers can get back their lost money and can also get their big winnings. Meanwhile, ordinary gamblers won't be able to have such an opportunity because they don't have much money and hope that their luck will come sooner than they think so that they don't have to lose more money because otherwise, they could spend all their money without being able to win. But there are ordinary gamblers who can win big with enough bets, and that's because they get lucky at the right time.
I would say the opposite is possible as well. A rich gambler is rich, and they could win big and not care because they are already rich and keep gambling and lose it all, whereas a poor gambler could gamble and get lucky and win, and they could take that money out right away, withdraw it to their wallet and get out. In that situation the poor one did the smart thing not because they were just smart but because they were poor, if they were rich and had millions then they may have continued too, but because they were poor they wanted the money instead.

I have seen plenty of people like that rich one, guys who wagered 100k, lost it all, and then won 100 k back and lost it again. This is why it is not all that easy to handle this, and people should be careful about what they do, they should not be really caring about it and need to do better in the end. I hope that people could do it, and be fine about it so that they could continue to make some return while not caring about how much they have, just get out when you win big, no matter how poor or rich you are.
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investing a money on: December 02, 2023, 08:44:04 PM
More nuanced cryptocurrency and liquid asset allocation may benefit you. While diversifying between various altcoins sounds wise, their volatility may limit their potential. What about reassessing altcoin allocation? Multi-altcoin diversification doesnt mean spreading thin. Quality over quantity is key. Select a few powerful cryptocurrencies rather than investing in many. Risk is reduced while growth is maximized.

The liquidity focus is great. However, in a fast-moving market, 10% liquid assets may not be enough. Increasing this budget could allow for unexpected opportunities. In bitcoin investing, its about taking chances and adapting to market changes.
That is definitely the way to go, most people should look into that and could do very well on the long run, I understand that it may not look all that crazy for the time being but I bet that it is going to be fine, it is not going to really be troublemaker for you. Just get a few good ones and that diversification should be more than enough. Why would anyone want to spread thin in this market, there aren't any guarantee that low level stuff would go up, I mean some of them "might" but we do not really know if they will or not, so we should be quite careful about it and not really have any return on that which may cause any trouble.

So long story short the best thing to do at this moment would be just making sure that you end up with a good return. I hope that we could have some good return, but it is going to be a bit of a deal breaker if you are not certain about it, it has to be something that will benefit everyone and could be done better eventually.
416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 02, 2023, 08:08:22 PM
Between Leverkusen and Bayern Munich, I'm waiting to see which team is going to lose the race to win the Bundesliga title at the end of this season. Bayern Munich was always winning the title while they usually had a race with other teams but this time the situation is going to be harder for Tuchel and his players because the team Xabi Alonso made had an amazing performance in every game we saw from them so far.
It seems like we are lying to ourselves that in the end Bayern Munich still the bundesliga title holder this season even though we always think that Leverkusen very strong and can perform consistently, but at the end of the season maybe we will see history like last season when Dortmund failed in the final match the season. I really hope that Leverkusen will continue to compete with Munich to continue to dominate the top of the standings and maintain its position without being overtaken Munich to see something that is not boring, but the journey is still long and we will still see many changes to come.

today, Bayern munich is certain to get 3 points when they beat Union Berlin, which is currently in a very bad condition, while Leverkusen has yet to see whether it can get 3 points from Dortmund or will only get 1 point from draw.
I think that's quite possible, Leverkusen is doing as good as possible but that doesn't mean that we are going to end up with something that will be all that profitable, it just feels like we are going to end up with something that will not be profitable for any of us on the long run. Hopefully, it is going to end up with something that should be interesting, it could definitely be something that will be all that profitable, and maybe that may not be all that crazy but it could very well be fine in the end.

I understand that we may think that this is a bit different but this doesn't guarantee any result at all. I think it is real that we could end up with something like last year, if Leverkusen ends up even that good until the end of the season.
417  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If i have 1k how to trade future on: December 02, 2023, 05:18:05 PM
In my opinion, it's best for OP or us, if possible, to stay away from futures trading altogether, don't even try it even if we are experienced people in the market. Because even if you are a holder or spot trader but have never participated in futures trading, you do not have any experience with it. The risks are still huge for anyone participating in futures trading, whether newbies or old in the market.

Futures trading is no different from gambling, it is no longer a form of investment like holding and spot trading, so it is best to limit participation in them. Honestly, I've never seen anyone get rich from futures trading, have you seen anyone?
That's the point  for the newbies, don't get me wrong I am not saying nobody should do futures, but if you are not expert at spot trading then you should not be trading at futures neither, it will not give you any benefit. The trouble at futures is that you could lose 100% of your entered amount, with just one bad movement and it's all gone and you should stay away from that as much as you possibly could.

I understand that it may not sound all that possible to people, like how could you be that wrong, but yeah it's the reality at futures. This is why it's much better if people could just avoid futures until they are already making so much at spot trading that they are just looking for a way to increase that and spot isn't enough anymore.
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin is more profitable? on: December 02, 2023, 11:19:05 AM
Just one bitcoin
Bitcoin is the most profitable crypto to all investors. Bitcoin is the first digital asset to hit the crypto market. In fact it was more profitable for its early investors.
that's right, if you want to invest calmly, not be afraid of the risks and of course get a profit, then Bitcoin is the right choice, because the price of Bitcoin will definitely increase very high and give you a lot of profit, so you just need to always DCA Bitcoin in accordance with the budget that you determine and then you just need to hold it for the long term, so I'm sure that in the future, your assets will increase by at least 5x from the capital that you invested in Bitcoin.
And who wouldn't really want that? I think people who are not fearing the risks and then suddenly fear it when it goes are the problem. You may have faced some people like that, they invest their money into something risky and say "I am not afraid, I don't care whatever it does, I am going to hold" and act like they will ignore it, and the moment it crashes they are in panic mode. The reality is that bitcoin is by far the better option and people should be aware that they are going to do fine with it, it's as easy as that.

I hope that it could get to a point where we could just prefer bitcoin over all other coins, I know that it's ranked number one right now so that looks like we do prefer bitcoin, but the amount of money that is going to other coins is huge right now, anything outside of top 20 is usually a shitcoin that is being kept alive by some rich people at the top, normally all of them do look like they suck and it is definitely not all that great.

If I'm not mistaken previously there was a casino that provided bets on the pandemic how many would die and so on, the good thing was it was a new gambling site so it didn't get enough attention and now the gambling site has died without leaving a trace and is actually betting on tragedy humanity is unreasonable, and casinos should never provide that even if there is a request, and if there is a casino that does that, it is better to leave the casino or not bet at all because taking advantage of human tragedies such as war is very inhumane.
That's really a ridiculous bet, how can a human tragedy be made into a bet just to get a win, it's like you are risking human lives for your own interests indirectly. Yes thank goodness if indeed the site has now completely disappeared, honestly I don't know if there are sites that bet on humanity during the pandemic but the main focus is that the betting option is really absurd and I have been very disgraced.

I understand that maybe casinos are smart enough to take advantage of every opportunity in various circumstances, but on the other hand such bets are really absurd, and I hope no more casinos will come up with such ridiculous betting ideas. But on the other hand it is indeed beyond our control, we as ordinary people cannot fully restrict their actions because they have a lot of money to build such casino sites even though it makes no sense, and maybe it comes back to us, as you said it's better not to participate in betting and I'm sure for people who have common sense will not follow such bets.
Even thought it was definitely terrible, it is also real that it did happen. I mean the sadness is true, there are some places that literally has "who will win Ukraine or Russia" bets, and you do not really have clear winning lines neither, like how do you know who won? That is not really a case of winning or lose, it is a different situation.

This is why it is quite important to realize that you are not going to end up with morality or ethics when you are talking about neither casinos nor gamblers who bet on these. You should just simply consider it a bit different and it could be something that will be acceptable in the sense that we just have to accept that these people and these type of situations do exists.
420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accepting btc of tuitions payments for College/students? on: November 30, 2023, 09:35:14 AM
A long time to be generally accepted but their few out of many that accept Bitcoin since El Salvador made a legal tender their colleges accept Bitcoin and it won't be long again before it will become an option of payment, it is just a matter of time that people will switch and that spending bitcoin, in my country some months back when there was cash scarcity bitcoin would have fit in and with the kind of network it will make the transaction very easy and fast,  the best thing I love about bitcoin that it is decentralized and it is better that way and governments are find a way by all means to control bitcoin, and any country can decide to use it for payment of tuition fee so everything depends on how they want to use bitcoin in their financial system, el salvador use it now does not give other countries the right to talk about or do anything to el Salvador because they are investing in bitcoin.
I feel like this is basically school to school basis thing and not really a national thing but also if a nation has plenty of these schools then it will become more common for others to start accepting it as well. I hope that people could see the difference and could maybe do something regarding this situation, and I think the best thing to do in this case would be a better situation.

I think we could potentially see a few schools accepting, ones with some proper name, as long as bitcoin is legal, and I do not mean legal tender, just legal to accept then we could see some schools starting to do that. I hope to see the situation grow and be better, and as many schools as possible start accepting it, that would be lovely for sure.
