421  Economy / Exchanges / Re: The crypto exchange best known for siding with Gary Gensler pushes 2024 launch on: December 23, 2023, 10:41:03 PM
I won't be surprised if they go after Justin Sun… In fact, I still wonder how he has managed to evade those guys for this long.

The good old days when retail traders had their freedom and enjoyed trading assets on exchanges that never asked for KYC are long gone. Sadly, cryptospace will never be the same again unless if we try to fight back in different ways like get rid of leaders and regimes that are passing bills targeting to suffocate crypto growth in general.
422  Economy / Reputation / carizmerlin31 Reputation. I need some help from a Russian member. on: December 19, 2023, 11:27:13 PM
carizmerlin31 did something terrible that got his account flagged and tagged. Unfortunately, the profile was tagged by only one DT member at that time who has since gone rogue and deleted everything including the accusation thread.

The good thing is that there is an archived version of the deleted post - https://ninjastic.space/post/57115889, but it's in Russian and I have failed to auto translate it using my browsers

I need any Russian member to help me summarize what the accusation was about

I want to tag the account, but need to be sure what I am tagging it for.
423  Economy / Exchanges / Re: PSA: Vulnerability found in OKX iOS app on: December 19, 2023, 10:33:16 PM
In any case, people who have the app on iOS are encouraged to update it or uninstall ASAP.
They should make a forced update (app unusable unless if updated)

So how are certik able to recognize such a vulnerability if the app is not open source?

Yet another reason to not use centralized exchange as a wallet to store funds.
You can't avoid it if you are like a day trader or doing futures trading. The coins will still have to be in an exchange unless if you plan to withdraw and deposit everytime you want to trade Grin

They are custodian and can have vulnerabilities you cannot help against, leading to loss of funds.
Most importantly, if they are not open source (at least for wallets)... unfortunately when it comes to serious spot day trading or futures. Centralize exchanges beat decentralized once in most cases, so users find themselves using this platforms every day regardless of the looming dangers.
424  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Dpex-exchange on: December 19, 2023, 10:20:00 PM
There seems to be another exchange answering Dpex, which complicates things a little bit. Is your company the same with Dpex.io?
Just read the replies about you might get a clue, but if you are expecting an answer from OP then it's unfortunate you might not get any as he may not log in here again. That's what scammers do most of the time.
425  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Market gaps BTC & other markets in general on: December 19, 2023, 09:17:20 PM
Are you referring to something like the CME gaps? If yes then what you have to know is that for this ordinary crypto exchanges, the crypto market is open 24/7 unlike the other markets like stock or forex there for there are no gaps in crypto spot markets and all futures markets in such exchange

The popular gaps related to crypto that I always here about is the Bitcoin CME Gap. Perhaps it exists because CME closes markets at specific times or days. Try to search up Bitcoin CME gaps and read more about it

426  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there a propfirm for cryptos? on: December 19, 2023, 08:20:29 PM
>>snip<<

>>snip<<
Don't be fooled folks, OP is a shill of a certain fake website and this time round he has abbreviated it as CFT, but he has been shilling this so-called prop firm for a while using very many fake accounts like in this case

Do not trust anything OP spills here.
427  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading smallcap with 5000 usd selecting them by a programmed ia bot on: December 19, 2023, 07:27:00 PM
While you want to show us your trading journey through your YouTube channel, it is imperative you also document it here in summary, otherwise it will just be seen as an attempt to get more views and subscriber on your channel so that YouTube pays you. This kind of defeats the purpose of your trading journey. It means it is not worth it if you have to look for earnings from YouTube instead of enjoying the profitable trading strategy.
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can You Really Make $33,000 A Year Mining Bitcoin? on: December 19, 2023, 07:05:55 PM
Please know that the $33,000 is just estimated revenue, and it can vary from time to time depending on the total hash rate as more miners join in to mine the profitable looking coin. Also consider the power cost in your locality. The $33K value is calculated based on the default value of 0.12kw/h
429  Economy / Reputation / Re: The people on this site promote violence against me. on: December 19, 2023, 03:32:03 AM
OP bitches about people in this forum promoting violence against him, but then goes ahead to say this
Hispo is a horrible, hate worthy person who deserves to be punished.
Very ironic!

If you don't have thick skin or can't handle opinions of other members, then quit discussing anything political or religious, lest we see you sounding like a cry baby here.
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether: We've onboarded FBI, Secret Service to our platform on: December 19, 2023, 03:22:30 AM
imagine having the FBI and Secret Service needing to approve your bitcoin wallet. That's what the USA government wishes could happen. Looks like they are getting their way with tether...which is kind of concerning that the USA government will now effectively control tether.
Except that tether is not bitcoin, though.

This is not a secret, It is a well known fact that Tether is a private-centralized token that has an owner/owners who can mint and freeze assets inside anyone's address any time they want. This can not happen with bitcoin unless if one goes on to use custodial wallets.
431  Economy / Lending / Re: i've got 2k to loan out for 5% interest in 30 days, interested? on: December 18, 2023, 08:16:52 PM
I hope you don't try to play tricks like Mr CYBER_COWBOY who came here trying to offer loans to any rank just to build reputation. He later tried to pull off a scam where he failed miserable. He has never recovered since then. We have seen it all here.
432  Economy / Lending / Re: long-term lending on: December 18, 2023, 07:37:40 PM
The problem is this is an online platform. You don't expect someone from Australia to accept your car as collateral, and then you continue using it. Each day that passes. A car depreciates in value, perhaps that's why your local bank offer too low and amount.

On top of that, your account is brand new and has no reputation here. I don't even remember the last time a trust member here got more than 1 BTC as a loan. It's the bitter fact.
433  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SERO EX (Crypto Trading Platform?) on: December 17, 2023, 11:12:29 PM
it looks like the website's minions are up and about(at least I think you are, I mean you guys created an account just to post on this particular thread.). I hope you guys realize that the forum members are not as dumb as you might think. any type of scam that is obvious as this will be called out.
He is actually the dumb one. His ass is his wasting time here if he thinks he will scam anyone with his fake postive review tactics.

I also invest in investments similar to this. The income is very stable. Only losers have a lot of negative emotions. Grin Grin
How did you decide it was a scam? How much money did you lose?
I think most losers only use words to slander

Well done SERO EX scammer, now if you will please, I am going to tag all you sock puppet accounts. Please keep them coming!
434  Other / Archival / Re: [banned mixer] - Bitcoin mixer | 50+ BTC in reserves are confirmed! on: December 17, 2023, 11:02:13 PM
I'm just an ordinary citizen of planet earth, that's all, however I have all the rights to question people's motives, and I don't need authority to protect forum members from possible future complications. Besides this thread was posted on 13th of April, it looks more like a joke than an actual mixing service to me. And they only are paying how many people exactly? The question is why GB and why now? If you want me to connect more dots for you, sorry you gotta use the brain, I can't always be the cry wolf.😉
I reckon you need to use your brain more than I need to use mine, that is, if you have any left. If you have your “grudges” with GB then head over to your usual den (the reputations board) and rant about it there and why you feel bad about him being hired by puremixer. Otherwise, puremixer is a business just like any other, and they have a right to advertise with anybody they want. I have a feeling you are salty because they didn't open a campaign thread where you would apply for a chance to munch some of their sats.

But in case you don't feel alright, here's a solution  Smiley

435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AMD gpu on Ubuntu 22.04 on: December 17, 2023, 10:43:10 PM
Have you considered what JayDDee said?

There are so many mining software programs in the first few pages of this board. All you need to do is just a few clicks here and there, and you could get what you want. Linux OS can't be that unpopular?  Grin
436  Other / Meta / Re: Report Malware and Suspicious Links here so Mods can take Action ! on: December 17, 2023, 10:08:48 PM
It's Looks suspicious that Same topic created 4time from 4 different accounts  Roll Eyes . Just take a look, aren't they spreading malware?

Code:

1. ProChart Navigator: Empowering Your Trading Experience ?
2. ProChart Navigator: Empowering Your Trading Experience
3. ProChart Navigator: Empowering Your Trading Experience
4. ProChart Navigator with Download Link !
Sorry I didn't have enough smerits, but something is definitely not adding up. Why the quick posts advertising some software that looks like tradingview. The person is trying to spread malware but rather more subtle way and also trying to provide clean virustotal results in each post when not even asked. Guilty conscience? I say yes!

Here is what I asked in one of the posts
Binaries uploaded on Mega.nz give me chills. It doesn't matter if the virustotal results are clean or not.  Tongue

I have some questions;
1. What advantageous difference does your app have over the original trustable trading view app? What is funny is your executable app is also named "Tradingview.exe"
2. Did you tinker with the tradingview code?
437  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Dpex-exchange on: December 17, 2023, 09:11:02 PM
More work needs to be done here. I do no want to say that I dont trust the exchange but if you feel like you have something to achieve, whether it be genuine or not, you should focus on leaving it neat enough without traces or suspicions. Imagine if I have to see a Russian write up for whats supposed to be an English audience, it is obviously not what you wished for that will play out. Thanks all the same for taking out time to work on the exchange
It's not worth the effort and praise, mate. The site is probably a scam if you take your time to read up the replies and findings above. I will be surprised if the OP himself comes back to this ANN to defend his scam because he has been exposed.
438  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Coin Pot on: December 17, 2023, 08:48:12 PM
Sir, the idea is that we are a new company with the same name, but we are not scammers.
And why did you say you are back again?
Have you been here before?

We profit using advertisements and donations. Do you get the idea and we provide the service of creating a Bitcoin Wallet?
It doesn't matter. Given that your wallet is not open source, the addresses generated through your website could already be compromised (you have access to the private keys)
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Secure your crypto wealth by not having it all in crypto on: December 17, 2023, 08:34:32 PM
Especially shitcoins that can get attacked, “hacked” and disappear overnight. One should only rely on them short term, get profits and move on to the next one. I made this mistake during the 2017 ICO boom. I put a lot of trust in a number of tokens, thinking I would become a millionaire after another bull run. I was completely wrong. Most of those altcoins tanked and never recovered by the next bull run.

Indeed, diversification is one of the best strategies anywhere in the business and investment world.
440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: This is beyond craziness on: December 16, 2023, 11:57:26 PM
What the hell is going on? Who can afford so high fees? Fees are so high and people still pay for it, mempool is clogged and getting even more clogged. I thought I was not a poor guy but now I feel like the poorest person in the world Cheesy

Does anyone know what's the reason behind these high fees? These are not ordinal transactions.
It's that very BRC20 hype crew causing all the mess. Since they are minting a lot of money out of fools who are on FOMO. They don't really care about transaction fees when moving BTC around. For example;

In the first transaction. Check this address:
https://ordiscan.com/address/bc1pzekc78cuqym059yjxmwqdd7l5mqvphj24w7xf4y02xczwj3lratsgeyk5z

Second transaction
https://ordiscan.com/address/bc1q9x3u9x283p2g79xcxsgqxn5cjc3xtca7nv5c8z

Third transaction
https://ordiscan.com/address/bc1qmmve2mdnrwqgnq2zwpgr3ge9syswvd803zjejv

What do you see?

If nothing is going to be done. We are in for a long, hard spell of high transaction fees on the Bitcoin network. We haven't even hit the bull run yet.
