1122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Need help swapping or selling a coin I received on: May 01, 2023, 10:03:32 PM
The token's volume is not satisfactory though except only one controversial exchange which is coinsbit that has a volume of about $50,000 in the last 24 hours which still is very low in my opinion.

https://coinsbit.io/trade/AOG_USDT

Have you used coinsbit before?
1123  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Lost coins due to KRAKEN's error. KRAKEN offered 1/10th in fee credits on: May 01, 2023, 09:54:03 PM
Seen such case about assets that have been wrongly sent to Kraken before and the common thing is that they always told the victims that they won't be able to recover the coin which is pretty annoying give the fact that they have the private key.

One thing I will tell you is that, brace yourself. This might take months or even years, or until you give up. Very sad.
1124  Other / Archival / Re: [ANN] [banned mixer] - CoinJoin Crypto Mixer | Your Anonymity Is Our Priority! on: May 01, 2023, 09:41:09 PM
No, why? Does Trezor wallets are less secure because software sources are available? Does SHA algorithms are less reliable because they are known? You overestimate things just because you do not know how they work. Everyone knows how cars are build, but still some do it better.
The problem is, you are trying to compare services  like Trezor wallet or car building to a service that is considered an "enemy" of different states because they are making it harder for them to snoop people's transactions.

I do not expect to know every address managed by mixer,
But your Government would be very glad to know this.

By making the algorithm open source. You as a customer are not the only one looking at it. Some overzealous Government agencies will that want to uncover your transaction trail will even use it more than you and crack the puzzle open.

Don't you think privacy is heightened when there is mystery around it? Even the Chainalysis services won't know where to start, at least.

Really, it is not about stealing know-how, as you must enough resources to run service like that and average person cannot do that.
The average person is not a threat, you know who the threat is, and they have all the resources at their disposal if they decide to go for a witch hunt.
1125  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bit555.io Scam on: April 30, 2023, 10:58:46 PM
This answers can solve my problem?
Can't help if the casino is a scam and judging by the negative reviews about them online, I don't think you will get back that money. Luckily, they were just tips and you did spend anything on them

Your online friend might be part of the scam, and he may want you to send him more money to pay back his tips that are blocked. Please do not send him any money from outside.
1126  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: WARNING! SCAM SITE on: April 30, 2023, 10:44:19 PM
So @dragonvslinux, I hope you have your telegram mention notifications active.

My question is why are you opposing a legitimate looking trust flag against Bit555.io who seem to be scammers according to scam accusations here and the very many negative reviews on trustpilot?

Any reason that we may not have any idea about?
1127  Other / Archival / Re: Current list of exchanges without KYC on: April 30, 2023, 10:19:18 PM
I think you could mention as a note at the bottom of your post at least, exchanges like Yobit and Hitbtc because they are very famous and many people will think you've forgotten them. Or you could make a kind of black list maybe.
Mate, why are you suggesting scam exchanges?

Yobit and HitBTC are far from being legit exchanges. If they don't use shitcoins like Yodollar that are created by the exchange to scam users, they will put the deposit and withdrawal wallets under maintenance indefinitely so that traders loose, and they make money or levy very high and unreasonable withdrawal fees on users

If you think I am lying, just check the withdrawal fees of Yobit and HitBTC across different tokens and coins, then compare them to the popular exchanges.
HitBTC has been scamming users in the name of KYC. Just do a small search on the scam accusations board and look at their forum account trust feedback.

Ratimov's move not to include such exchanges in the list is plausible. You have no idea how many newbies and guest users come across such threads while browsing.
1128  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Forget about exchanger search! Use BestChange! on: April 30, 2023, 10:02:00 PM
liquidity is very important, considering that the exchangers deliver the data themselves, is there room for manipulation?
But then, why would an exchanger lie about the amount of reserve funds they have?

Why would someone who has only 5 BTC lie about having a reserve of about 500 BTC?

We believe an error has occurred, and we're actively addressing the situation.
I am seeing as though the status of your exchanger is active on Bestchange or am I missing something?
1129  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Quickex | 🌟 The Ultimate Crypto Exchange Experience 🌟 | 🎉 USDT Giveaway 🎉 on: April 30, 2023, 09:31:40 PM
We understand your concerns regarding the minimum exchange amount on QuickEx. It's reasonable for users to want to test an exchange with a smaller amount of funds before committing to larger transactions. We are undoubtedly contemplating the possibility of facilitating trades with smaller amounts for our users.
Why 0.1 BTC, seriously?
This is 2023, where 1 BTC is almost $30k not back in the day when BTC was just $1k, How many people do you think are going to sacrifice almost $3k as a minimum on a platform they barely know about?

Even old reputable platforms don't have such a very high minimum limit.
1130  Other / Archival / Re: [ANN] [banned mixer] - CoinJoin Crypto Mixer | Your Anonymity Is Our Priority! on: April 30, 2023, 09:04:30 PM
BTW, question not really related to the one particular service - why we cannot see the source code of the service?
Bro, you are kidding, right?  Grin

A mixer having an open source code is like inviting Uncle Sam and telling them, Hello FBI, FinCEN, EuroPol, INTERPOL etc,  we are a bitcoin mixer which you guys consider illegal, this is how we mix coins and there are clues of how you can track the mixed coins

i just visit the website and read about the referral section but I wondering how we can know which commission is implemented on my ref link.
because the website says that "/en/referral]Earn 5% - 10% On The Paid Fees" and is there any rules on which transaction I will earn 10% from the fees or lower?
or is it just completely random from any transaction that my referral made?
The answer is right in the same page. The earnings are randomly selected.

1131  Economy / Reputation / Re: Why I will use this account until I recover my account on: April 30, 2023, 08:46:45 PM
Question 1: Are you still in control of the original email that was used to lock the account?

Question 2: If yes, did you write to the provided email address of your locked account with proof such as signed message? Sending a PM to Admin or Global Mods won't help. The team handling account recoveries is different.

Question 3: How do you want members to support you? Your thread appealing for your account to be unlocked is even locked.

1132  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is Lattice Labs using AI for making posts? on: April 30, 2023, 08:30:58 PM
It looks like the mods have deleted most of his posts, but yeah, I have just seen one post and this sure is a ChatGPT like response. I asked ChatGPT the same question, and it actually repeats all the points listed when I regenerated the responses.

This response in particular

Bitcoin, a decentralized digital currency, can be useful for the youth in various ways. Here are some reasons why:

Financial inclusion: Bitcoin allows anyone with an internet connection to participate in the global economy, without the need for a traditional bank account. This can be particularly useful for the youth who may not have access to traditional banking services, such as those who are unbanked or underbanked.
Low fees: Bitcoin transactions have significantly lower fees compared to traditional financial transactions. This can be beneficial for the youth who may not have much money to spare for high transaction fees.
Investment: Bitcoin has the potential to offer a high return on investment. For young people who are interested in investing, Bitcoin can be a viable option as it offers a high degree of liquidity and can be traded easily on exchanges.
Learning opportunity: Bitcoin can offer an opportunity for young people to learn about finance and economics. As Bitcoin is decentralized and not controlled by any government or institution, it offers a unique perspective on how money and finance work.
Innovation: Bitcoin is based on blockchain technology, which is a rapidly developing field with many potential applications. By learning about and using Bitcoin, young people can be exposed to new technologies and potentially contribute to the development of future innovations.
In summary, Bitcoin can be useful for the youth by providing financial inclusion, low fees, investment opportunities, a learning opportunity, and exposure to new technologies. However, it is important for young people to be cautious when investing in Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency, as it is a highly volatile asset and can carry significant risks.

I think the forum doesn't ban someone who uses it once or a few times. They probably just delete the posts but I have seen some users get banned perhaps after spamming too much and getting warned

Lattice Labs spams so much about their project, and this is not the first time I am coming across this username. Right now he has 46 deleted posts out of a total of 69 posts.
1133  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Importing trustwallet to Electrum advisable? on: April 28, 2023, 11:46:32 PM
I have read the details of what happened, although the wallet has nothing to do with it, but I am surprised how the hack happened, Juler12 says that he made a deposit and the money was not withdrawn, meaning that the malware is not responsible, perhaps the hacker was able to access the password with wallet file or was able to reveal the private key .
Maybe you undermine the capabilities of malware. It can steal pretty much any unencrypted information you have on your device once it's well executed as a program. If no one had physical access to his PC, then there is beyond reasonable doubt that the information or the seeds were accessed using malware.
1134  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: I want to buy! I need a seller? on: April 28, 2023, 10:52:54 PM
If trades need good and deep liquidity with fixed rate price %, and you have a genuine need and capacity to purchase we'd be happy to assist.

I can do this 1% fee using escrow

Don't bother with OP

His profile was banned on 27th April 2023 probably for persistent spamming or plagiarism. There's nothing that can stop him from scamming you in case you deal with him off this forum

1135  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why trading Crypto (instead of Forex) on: April 26, 2023, 11:49:08 PM
I'm not talking about risks. I'm talking about probabilities. I think its more probable to earn on forex buying exacly the dip with 500x leverage than by giving money to stranger who just created a token thanks to 30 min youtube tutorial, bought twitter fallowers and telegram members (5$ per 1000), payed shillers (15$ per day per person) and stolen idea from other project.
Look up my first reply, I never even talked about leverage. My reference was crypto spot trading, which is equivalent to the forex no leverage trading.

Don't you see it's a little bit comical, comparing crypto spot vs Forex trading using leverage?

Even someone with only $100 can turn it into $200 or more than that in crypto spot in a very short time, This is almost impossible with forex if you are not using Leverage (which is equivalent to spot)

Because you don't trade forex without leverage. You just need to remember about good position size management just like you don't buy 1 shitcoin with your entire wallet size.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

you were in the right place at the right time. But I'm sure you'll agree with me that it's not a sure-fire, repeatable success.
Because when one is trading forex, they don't need to be in the right place at the right time... Wooooow I am going to be a millionaire trading forex from this night forward  Cheesy
1136  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why trading Crypto (instead of Forex) on: April 25, 2023, 11:50:13 PM
>>snip<<
I didn't say there are no risks when trading crypto. They are so many including scams, hacks etc. What I meant, it's much easier for one including a noob to make gains because of the price volatility as compared to trading forex.

I say this because when I was a noob trading back then on Etherdelta, I actually made some good profits spot trading shitcoins. I don't think I would have made such profits trading forex without leverage.

1137  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: How to find inputs? Electrum 4.4.0.0 (Android) on: April 25, 2023, 11:33:13 PM
>>snp<<
I can't see them on my 4.3.4 version too

Matter of fact, I don't ever remember seeing inputs in my mobile electrum wallet. Maybe they have not been viewable in the mobile wallet for a while. The electrum desktop version has much more details of the transactions, though.
1138  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BPIP] Bitcointalk Public Information Project [Back in Action] on: April 25, 2023, 11:08:26 PM
When were the first entries recorded by BPIP.org ?
Depends on the information you are looking for, but as far as I know. The log kept getting modified over time

The earliest records you will find are of most merited posts daily, and then Changed to Archived status, mostly because data would be displayed on the site even when Vod was still part of the project(I see some info as far as 2018)

1139  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: $1820 worth of btc and usdt available For your Paypal funds. on: April 25, 2023, 09:29:40 PM
I can do for 600$ if ur up 4 it. but has anyone traded with this newbie before?
The answer is staring right on your face. Check out his trust summary page and see the ratings, both under trusted and untrusted category

The last time someone tried to deal with him, they got scammed $25

Not sure how both of you are going to pull this off given that both your accounts are painted red.

1140  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitcointalk account selling (Nikobitcoins) on: April 25, 2023, 08:56:44 PM
I wouldn't be surprised if JamesBorn is also an alt given it was created three days after the one shasan has flagged and they're both touting in the currency exchange section.
Not that I say JamesBorn is an alt of Nikobitcoins, but something is really off about that account. It's like they are pushing so hard to gain merits but making unnecessary posts in boards where they shouldn't even belong

In just a space of 2 months, the account has created 70 topics out of the total 116 posts
