1321  Economy / Services / Re: Crypto Website Development At Affordable price on: March 06, 2023, 07:48:50 PM
How are interested parties going to know if you are good at the work you do before they can message you up in telegram?

I am suggesting you can make the announcement with a little more content about your skill by adding your past projects in your work portfolio, that's if you don't mind.
1322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EXPERIENCE BASED REVIEW OF EXCHANGES on: March 05, 2023, 11:56:18 PM
Bitget exchange stole over $5,000 from me. Two months ago, when trying to withdraw my funds from the exchange, the account was put up for verification, the exchange requested documents and so on, everything was provided by me on the same day.
KYC verification was also passed. The support service responds to multiple calls that it cannot explain the reasons for blocking funds.
Be careful, your funds on this exchange can be taken at any time, even if you pass KYC verification, and provide them with everything they ask for.
If your concerns are legitimate, then why don't you open up a scam accusation revealing how you were scammed by bitget. I personally never used the exchange before, but they seem to be one of those exchanges good at listing shitcoins

1323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can all currency be mined? on: March 05, 2023, 11:50:44 PM
It always depends on Consensus Mechanism the list above is Proof of Work.

There is a coin that can Mine crypto using another consensus mechanism like Proof of Stake you generally mine a new coin by producing a block when you find a new block. Like  DASH by Lock/stake some coins and you will add to the list of validator. and can earn money
If POS enables a form of mining, then why aren't we seeing other coins that use the POS consensus mechanism like BNB, Cardano, Solana in the minable coin lists?

Because staking for rewards is not mining in technical terms
1324  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is a P2P exchange? on: March 05, 2023, 11:09:58 PM
Any platform where the wallet assigned to you is custodial is not P2P. It's a big fuckin lie! And this included Binance, Kucoin and all those other platforms claim to have "p2p" trading in them

Binance exchange is a complete centralized crypto trading exchange.
They offer peer 2peer service,  and that doesn't make them decentralized in any way, to me,  it's still centralized.
it's not a p2p service  Lips sealed

If you have used Paxful in the past you will understand what I am talking about, I don't think I can get used to a P2P exchange without the Middleman, no I won't do it, this middleman of a thing is why justice is been served on Binance exchange.  You can't cheat someone and get away with it unless you break the rules.

On Paxful, I provided some proof of the transaction and they still release funds to the scammer, this was just one out of many stories I had with p2p platforms out there,  there are more.

I don't think you have understood any message in this post. Please, read through the thread, again. paxful is not a p2p exchange!
1325  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Coinwix.com Fake Exchange on: March 05, 2023, 10:53:43 PM
This is the first time this exchange has been mentioned on Bitcointalk according to what Ninjastic.space shows.
Googling the name also doesn't bring much information. I did find that a Russian site called BestExchangers has placed Coinwix.com on a list of fraudulent exchanges. I don't know whether or not that means much and if we can trust BestExchangers and its evaluation.
Not sure how coinwix ended up in the scam exchange list. How I wish bestexchangers would help us document how they ended up with the verdict bt regardless I would believe them to some extent.

They also what I believe to be a bought Twitter account from 2011  Grin  https://twitter.com/coin_wix

1326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about token's price when a listing takes place on: March 04, 2023, 11:58:13 PM
Could you please mention the name of the token. It would be easier to analyze what happened.

What I usually know is there are people who get the tokens or coins way earlier than others and as soon as it's listed, they dump it on other people. This happens even with coins or tokens sold on exchange launchpads. There is always a lot of manipulation. Be very careful, or you will lose lots of funds in minutes trying to chase these coins.
1327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think Blur will overtake Opensea on: March 04, 2023, 11:32:44 PM
OpenSea is takend the brand for "NFTS" sector.

I don't think "Blur" are gonna to hold against OpenSea in a long term, it's just like regular project who have the same idea and can compete against the platform number one in that sector.

It's only beginning hype, and in the long term like other project.
Hype is part and parcel of crypto. At least that's what I came to realize...

The Opensea and blur situation kind of reminds me of the Uniswap - Pancake swap situation and all those other swaps that exploded into the scene because of hype, especially after the UNI airdrop

I think Blur could become a very big potential competitor to Opensea, it will all depend on how aggressively they market the platform and the long term goals top sway the numbers in their favour.
1328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can all currency be mined? on: March 04, 2023, 11:14:04 PM
Mining is a metaphore for POW. It's just one way to create more coins. Some coins use POS or some other form of proof. It could be called minting.
Not all crypto uses POW but all have some form of rewarding validators.
Year POW has definitely been the main one especially for old coins, but we now have so many consensus mechanisms cropping up here and some of them also use hardware to "mine" coins

One good example of Filecoin that uses Proof Of Replication (PoRep) and Proof of Spacetime (PoSt) consensus mechanisms and then there is Chia network too. Not sure how things are working out for them though.
1329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin history on: March 04, 2023, 10:51:54 PM
BTC grow from zero to hero in few years of existence and afterwards busted in price in 2009, many begins to invest in the project and in 2017 the price moved to $11k, at this point BTC already made many millionaires and billionaires and many still invest at high price value and achieved good journey to this point.
Why would you say that the price moved to $11K, yet there was a historic all-time high of $20K or close to it at that time?
Was I in a different metaverse at that time?
1330  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Coinwix.com Fake Exchange on: March 04, 2023, 10:37:40 PM
I have recently discovered a new version of fake exchange, be ware people:

https://coinwix.com - SCAM!!!
https://www.trustpilot.com/review/coinwix.com
You might want to shows us how the exchange is scamming people. Just this few sentences won't be of help notifying the community that much.

I'm not aware of the existence of this exchange but they've been existing for 5 years already maybe they just purchase the domain to make themselves look credible,
Until 28th November 2021 or even later, the domain was still up for sale Which means thy might have acquired it somewhere in 2022

1331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can all currency be mined? on: March 03, 2023, 11:57:34 PM
I came across this question earlier today by a friend so I decided to ask here
I believe you wanted to ask if all cryptocurrencies can be mined

The answer is Not all of them can be mined, depending on the consensus mechanism. Others are just merely tokens dependent on other blockchain networks

1332  Other / Meta / Re: Reducing website load when you want to login to your Bitcointalk account. on: March 03, 2023, 10:57:31 PM
Maybe your Internet connection or device has a problem. The forum loads at a pretty much reasonable speed. Way faster than so many websites.

Deleting banned user data is not good. Some members were good contributors in the past. Why would you want to trash those contributions. This is like getting rid of part of the forum's history.

Deleting the posts would also lead to a lot of unreadable threads in case someone is trying to follow up on the replies. Imagine a thread has 50 replies and 15 of them have been deleted because they were from banned users. Imagine how had it can be to read through that thread.
1333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to this Eth Investor? on: February 28, 2023, 11:40:22 PM
That is possibly correct OP either he is dead or lost his keys. I couldn't imagine as well to a person who has that great amount in his/her wallet can still afford to hold until now and it is certainly there is something wrong happened to the owner.
What if he has another wallet with way much stash that he is spending from than what we are seeing right now in the "untouched" address?
Regardless, still anyone here has not explained to us that outgoing transaction from the address that happened slightly over 40 days ago. Can someone make a transaction out of a wallet minus owning the private keys?
1334  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinplay scammed me out of 1300 USDT on: February 28, 2023, 10:47:53 PM
They should be able to tell you exactly what terms and conditions you breached not just coming up with a vague message.

The kind of message they sent to you is almost the same as the one 1xbit usually sends out to their customers when they are trying to scam them. I hope they are not related to 1xbit and have their representatives come out clean and clear everything.

I have seen renown casinos resolve problems here before and state in details what terms a user breached
1335  Economy / Reputation / Re: Ban member GodsOfSolana? on: February 28, 2023, 10:28:19 PM
There is no strong stand from the forum administration against the sale of bitcointalk accounts if I understood that particular rule correctly;

18. Having multiple accounts and account sales are allowed, but account sales are discouraged.

So I don't think they will be banned for trying to sell their account. Maybe if they are spamming.

The best we can do is tag and flag so that the account is rendered useless.
1336  Economy / Lending / Re: I need a loan on: February 28, 2023, 03:47:50 PM
Need a  of 300 until March 3 ...I will pay back 330 if I could
Sure!

Lucky for you, you have yourself here a very good Samaritan who has some Bitcoins at disposal to lend out to brand-new profiles of internet strangers that need a loan with no-collateral.

Drop me your bitcoin address and I will send the money right away!
1337  Other / Archival / Re: Trust flag bug or normal? on: February 28, 2023, 03:09:37 PM
Logged-out users will now see a warning in trust-enabled sections if more DT members neg-trust the topic starter than positive-trust him.

This increases the responsibility of DT members not to give negative trust for stupid reasons, but only for things that cause you to believe that the person is a scammer.

So by DT members, did he mean only DT1 or DT2 as well? I always tend to think DT members is general (DT1 and DT2)

Take this user for example. He has negative feedback from 3 DT2 members and when you check some of the topics he opened, the banner with a warning does not show up.

1338  Other / Archival / Re: Trust flag bug or normal? on: February 28, 2023, 02:33:49 PM
That kind of message is shown if one has active flag opened against him. The flag is different from negative feedback.
So there is feedback - positive, neutral, negative - that can come from DT, or somebody you trust, or somebody you distrust or don't care about, and this is visible in colors and numbers.
And there's the flag. The thing with the flag is that it can be supported or opposed. If it gets enough support it becomes active and you'll see it that visible.

For more details you may want to read: [GUIDE] Overview of the trust flags
But he has no flag created on his profile - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=806776

Just logout and check any of the topics OP opened up especially in the marketplace boards like the one in the link he shared. The warning in the red banner will show up.

Yes, the wallet may have been "untouched" for a long time, but can someone explain the transaction out of the wallet that happened about 40 days ago?
