1141  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Need 300$ Us worth of Bitcoin on: April 25, 2023, 01:39:46 AM
Look for another way of buying the Bitcoins. Given that your account was registered a few minutes ago just to post this offer, you are likely not going to get any offers here because of this;

Money sent through PayPal and any other money transfer service that accepts credit cards can be easily reversed by the sender, even after several weeks. Therefore, you should only accept PayPal in trades with people you trust very highly.

This is why newbies are not likely to sell their PayPal USD for bitcoins successfully.

Some other services that are not totally safe:
- Bank transfers (ACH, etc.) except wire transfers
- Most gift cards.
- Moneypak
- AlertPay
- Paysafecards
- Dwolla
- Western Union (they reportedly will sue the recipient to recover money in some cases)

Only a trusted member would have a chance to trade off the PayPal for Bitcoins, minus the trade partners getting worried that they could be fleeced.
1142  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why trading Crypto (instead of Forex) on: April 24, 2023, 11:54:18 PM
The Biggest advantage is volatility IMO.

For example, coins/tokens like PEPE pumped by over 1000% recently in a very short time. Even a noob who bought the token and sold it off before the dump can make some good profits off a spot market with much less effort, something which is not easy with forex. In forex, you have to be good at technical and fundamental analysis.

About on chain data and derivative exchange data, I barely even use it, and yet I trade everyday while using Technical Analysis only.
1143  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed by WolfCloud on: April 24, 2023, 11:47:33 PM
Sorry about the loss of the money, but;
1. Why are you buying a hetzner account in the first place, yet you can create your own and verify it using your own accurate data?
2. Why are you not using a trusted escrow service for such deals?

You should have it at the back of your mind that people who sell such types of accounts probably obtained them illegally or even hacked into someone's account. You can't tell me someone comes in the forum here and sells 10 "verified" accounts, and they are all his and legally created.
1144  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [banned mixer] - CoinJoin powered Bitcoin Mixer on: April 24, 2023, 11:07:44 PM
OP I tried to go through the mixing process, but I am not seeing any letter of guarantee anywhere. So what happens if a dispute a rises in future? How does a user prove that they actually used your service to mix their coins or not if they don't have a signed message from an official address of yours?

Also, there is something off about some blogs like this that you made - https://[banned mixer]/blog/top-bitcoin-tumblers
I believe most of the information is not accurate. Also, which one is Bitcoin blender (If I recall well, I think Bitblender.io and Blender.io would use that name on their websites, but the mixers been defunct for some time) yet your blog was just made a month ago.
1145  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Projects Visibility (Sig Campaigns) in Bitcointalk. on: April 24, 2023, 09:44:45 PM
I have seen more than one suggestion to add the date the campaigns started. I will have to add it asap on the next edit.

The longevity of the campaign is a very important thing. Maybe just add the number of weeks of the campaign, but that will require a weekly update and some extra work for you only that parameter.
This coupled with the fact that some campaigns open, pause and then re-open again after some few weeks will really be a lot of work as it would be had to track and the comparisons/data may become inaccurate.

What OP had done so far is a superb job, I couldn't ask for anymore. Kudos.
1146  Economy / Reputation / Re: Someone had access to my account last month - Please beware! on: April 23, 2023, 11:57:04 PM
What will happen, if the hacker one day manages to recover the account, deletes the last posts regarding the hack and uses it to scam people trough PM or subsections not used by people remembering the case ?
How will he recover the account minus getting noticed? The same people who indefinitely locked his account are the same people who do account recoveries and they very much well contributed in this thread.

Relax, account is not going to be used to scam anyone if it's locked  Wink

1147  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Did bitcoin has trading signals and indictors like forex? on: April 23, 2023, 11:09:49 PM
If Bitcoin trading was completely different, then we would be having any technical analysis tools and indicators similar to those of forex trading in trading view. One thing for sure is that no tool is 100% perfect in predicting the market right every single time! At least not available publically.

You can also create your own "signals" using the available tools and technical indicators

Beware of fake signals apps, malware, scammers and pump and dump groups.
1148  Economy / Reputation / Re: Changed language in history. Bought? Hacked? on: April 23, 2023, 10:40:00 PM
>>snip<<
IMO the feedback left on the profile is justified, and I do hope the ban evasion rule catches up with him when the mods properly link up the accounts

Worse still, he is just making up stories and telling lies, which definitely is behavior that can not be trusted. The account could have even been hacked/stolen for all we know. So why can't such an account have a warning showing that It changed hands?
1149  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FortuneJack making 120,000 dollars disappear from my account! on: April 23, 2023, 10:01:56 PM
I have been rating them as one of the best casino in the casinos space. But from this issue, I can't say anything for now. The only people that can come and clear the air for this matter is Fortunejack casino and not even the manager in the forum but the representative of the ANN thread can also solve the anxiety. And since you sued them in the law court, let wait and see what will happen. Bit this is a simple issue the company would have solve without third party involvement.
They did respond to the issue through their official forum profile. In this thread and probably else where, In case you missed out on the responses

I think we are quite certain what their position is regarding this issue.
1150  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Lets Brain storm on how to limit losses... on: April 22, 2023, 11:56:40 PM
What led to your major loss in the market as for me it was staying too long on a trade i was making good profit before it turned all red and while waiting for the market to finish the correction moves i ended up losing everything.  How about you?
Greed!

I think it has affected most of the traders, including me

One fateful day I made very good profits from an open position, probably around 250% ROI and then after closing, instead of calling it a day I when back in to short more since the market was crashing. The position was closed and liquidated and closed even before a set-up a stop loss due to the high volatility of the market at that time. I froze for a bout a minute or two  Grin
1151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What role have altcoinsplayed in the entire cryptocurrency industry on: April 22, 2023, 11:45:00 PM
Bitcoin is a unique cryptocurrency, and I don't know why some people keep saying it's days of domination are over. It's one of the few projects where the creator or developers never thought about profiting from.

Look at the rest of the copy-cat altcoins and Blockchains. The owners create them so that they can become millionaires or Billionaires overnight. The intentions to create the project as a solution to the many problems surrounding us today are very minimal.
1152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nothing but a mathematical fraud. on: April 22, 2023, 11:32:57 PM
I am not surprised at all because PEPE devs or team, whoever they are used mathematical scam to deceive those people, PEPE solves no issue we are facing in the crypto space, not a single one, yet people FOMoEd
Breaking News! Just like many other shitcoins around... Hello?

What do you think about this project madness? Will you dare invest in a project like this?
Nothing new. It's just a pure gamble. The lucky few make abnormal profits while the rest end up holding bags

Personally, I would rather stick to my trading and DCA on well established coins. I am not the get-rich-quick kind of person.
1153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Iron Fish rises to become the most profitable PoW coin to mine with your GPU! on: April 22, 2023, 10:58:30 PM
LOL $13 get the fuck outta here
This exchange claims that it's worth $13. Never heard of the exchange before, it's my first time hearing about it today, so I don't think I can even trust it  Cheesy
https://safe.trade/trading/ironusdt

Worse still, the chart looks weird. 5 minute chart shows that the coin was worth $100+ at some point today and a low of $1 on the same day. Manipulation?

1154  Economy / Service Discussion / Is Tornado cash still up and usable? on: April 22, 2023, 10:35:43 PM
I have come across a tornado cash looking site, but I am not sure if it's real or a phishing site?

https://ipfs.io/ipns/tornadocash.eth/

We know the original site was blacklisted (https://tornado.cash)

I am seeing another alternative on the Wikipedia page, but they don't look similar to the one above (https://beacon.cash)
This is what I got from the wiki

After the sanctions on Tornado Cash, numerous attempts were made to create new mixers. One of the major privacy concerns with Ethereum staking is the potential exposure of personal information and counterparty risks. To address these issues, a new mixer called Beacon.Cash has been developed using Tornado Cash core contracts. The protocol was created by Alexey Pertsev, who also developed Tornado Cash. While it is primarily used as a way to tumble crypto, it may also face sanctions for its potential use in staking.
1155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: April 21, 2023, 11:58:11 PM

I still can't use it, can you please confirm if you indeed used Digital GOLD Marketplace last hours?
My bad  Tongue

I actually just checked it, but wasn't keen enough to see that the option to swap the coins has been removed. How long has this issue been going on?

I don't see the pair in the remaining exchange as well.
1156  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Why Coinmarketcap and Coingecko help scammers ? on: April 21, 2023, 11:32:28 PM
Coin ranking sites (coinmarketcap and coingecko) don't care much about the legitimacy of a project or exchange. What they mostly care about is traffic so that they can earn money from adverts and referral links

If you don't do due diligence yourself, and get scammed. Then you are to blame.

I made this post about 4 years ago about how investors and traders are getting fucked left, right and center... but at that time it was mostly about ICOs, but the narrative hasn't changed

Current situation, how investors/traders are enriching these three.
1157  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Current situation, how investors/traders are enriching these three. on: April 21, 2023, 11:19:08 PM
would appreciate 2023 version
Replace ICOs with DeFi's, NFTs, or what shitcoins we have had this time round, and you will have the same narrative

Each bull run, it's always the same scenario. Just different token names.
1158  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Welcome to XGo - The Crypto Platform for Everyone on: April 21, 2023, 10:50:09 PM
I don't ask myself a question, but I ask a question to the topic creator.
P.S. If you have vision problems, see your doctor.
Do you think we are stupid here?

You have no idea how much I hate shill accounts that are just created to bump threads and build fake buzz. In fact, I totally doubt the credibility of service that go down the path of using shill accounts

For that case, when I get time, I am going to leave feedback on all your shill accounts. In fact, I was trying to be lenient. Well, not anymore.
1159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: April 20, 2023, 11:49:00 PM
I haven't experienced any problems when i was exchanging GOLD token to ETH just after Digital GOLD Marketplace was open again,
also wait to buy more GOLD tokens before gold price will go up even higher
So wwzsocki is the last man standing  Grin

Glad to see that the project I promoted some years back is still up and running (Very few make it past 1–2 years without rugging users). Marketplace seems fine.

This makes me believe that the Digital GOLD team has always had good intentions. Keep the fire burning, folks!
1160  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Welcome to XGo - The Crypto Platform for Everyone on: April 18, 2023, 11:59:51 PM
WARNING

This Exchange is using shill accounts to bump the thread and create a fake hype. The exchange is suspicious and is a most likely scam, please refer to this thread for more details about their shady behavior  - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5448660.0

Got it, thanks for the reply.
Do you plan to add your site to Coincap?
Hey shill account, why are you asking yourself a question?

Your accounts were connected here

Not just that.

Including OP, who just woke up to post about the mysterious exchange. Notice the similarity in their activity patterns

5.  frank07a Woke up 4/14/2023 10:02:26 AM

This clearly shows that this exchange should not be trusted at all.
