Looks like a new government just got elected in India. Apparently the leader Mr. Modi is business and tech friendly. Could be a bullish signal.

153 leads so far. NDA leading in 96 seats, and UPA leading in just 36 seats. Massive wave in favor of NDA, except in certain minority dominated pockets such as Kerala.
hmm, so did Indians eventually elect a quasi-dictator as their leader?

Oops looks like the probability of a fascist becoming the head of state is high. http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/mehdi-hasan/narenda-modi-indias-milosevic_b_5252704.html

Also this is a good video synopsis on John Oliver's show

Someone prepared a chart for all the 543 seats, according to NDA's chances: (This will come in handy after 11 days, when early results come in).

Our dna sequencer routinely takes multiple 1/2 gig tiffs pictures of illuminated base-pairs every hour Wink

For how long has this been taking pictures? Could imagine you got Petabyte servers?

Challenge accepted: I'm 25 and roughly 3 months = 365*25+90 = 9215 days * 24 h = 221160 h * 500mb (assuming it takes only 1 picture, I know it's not) = 110580000 MB / 1000 = 110580GB / 1000 = 110,58 PB

here read this pdf for how the sequencer works. http://lhmg.amu.edu.pl/text/sequencing/Primary%20analysis.pdf

The sequencing is finished in 2 - 3 days. The images are analyzed on the fly and the illuminated spots are converted into text files like "GATTACA" and images are then deleted.
