Tradehill site is offline now.

1182  Economy / Securities / Re: [PicoStocks] 100TH/s bitcoin mine [100th] on: October 15, 2013, 11:03:10 PM
ETA to 200TH - I'm not going to give one.  We have a lot of hardware coming by end of the month.  We have plenty of boards coming that are created specifically for the mine, and should allow us to achieve 200TH (and surpass it).

Tytus has been improving security on the picostock site, while also helping improve the stability of the mining operations.  I think our block creation is much more consistent now.

I expect share price to begin to reflect our actual hashrate/dividend creation much more than it used to.  Speculators will always attempt to push prices up (or down) in order to take advantage of those investors that are easily scared out of positions.  As we add hashrate & dividend creation, you'll be able to determine a fair price to buy or sell your shares on any given day.

What does arming a session do exactly? I tried to click on the arming link on the email but I got another email for arming the session along with  new link, so on and so forth.
1183  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [FAILED]Butterfly Labs 30 day countdown to the end of September on: October 15, 2013, 10:17:10 PM

You mean the one that has a circuit board prototype with no traces linking the components?

https://forums.butterflylabs.com/dbtgallery.php?do=view_image&id=1379&gal=gallery

It will be shipping in two weeks.
The autorouter has still not finished routing the top layer Cheesy. :Sarcasm:

1185  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: YIFU IS AUCTIONNING? on: October 15, 2013, 07:27:28 PM
I don't know what is going on.  First it said I was unsuccessful.

Now it says my orders were successful.  However, it says the clearing price is 2.21  but I only bid 2.12 (actually I bid 2.199 but they made it 2.12).

I don't know what this is all means.

mine for 2.2 says the same.

Can anyone else confirm they have received this.  Does anyone else have unsuccessful still?

Now they put the funds back into my account so I guess the "order" was successful (in other words, my bid) but I didn't meet the min bid so I lost the auction.

Got my funds back as well. My max bid was 2.1BTC per unit. These were good room heaters though Smiley
1186  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: YIFU IS AUCTIONNING? on: October 15, 2013, 06:03:11 PM
Auction OVER!

Tradehill lagged at the end.  Almost was unable to re-bid.  But got a few for cheap!

i bid 2.2btc per unit and lost by .01 btc.    the site lagged out.  if anyone wants to sell me one to five for cheap i'd be happy.  just pm me or post.

they are holding 22 of my btc still too.

The input output delay at tradehill is huge. Deposited funds do not show up instantly. Lets see how long they take to release the held funds.
1187  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: **US** BitFury Setup Guide on: October 14, 2013, 08:26:37 PM
Ok, I've had 3 out of 5 Sd cards fail.   So as a result, I wish to repair the media.  When trying to write the august or September image onto the SD card I get this error:  Not enough space on disk:  Size: 7862272 sectors Available: 7626752 sectors  Sector size: 512

Should I be using Win32 Disk Imager and my netbooks sd card slot?  I am also using SDformatter; format size adjustment ON.

you can try to zero out your sdcard in linux
Code:
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sd[x] bs=64k

An "in hand" V2 starter kit just sold on eBay for $100 less than preorder price. It's kind of depressing that my orders are now already worth less than I paid for them and I'm still waiting for delivery.  Cry

http://www.ebay.com/itm/321223439005?ssPageName=STRK:MEDWX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1435.l2649

Ouch that hurts, deduct 9% ebay fees + 3% paypal cc fees, and there's no way to come out ahead with a starter kit.

If we only knew there was so much money to be made in the beginning of Litecoin we would all have been rich...

Edit:  There will be a crypto gathering in Kansas City Missouri on the evening of the 13th. Let me know if anyone wants to come for cake!

Please upgrade your website with the necessary legal details.
Just stop a Punin is a highly respectable man who has done a lot of succesful business you are the one who got confused with the information displayed. I am sure if you are in the top 5 bidders you can still buy for 370BTC so just do that.

this was not a a formal auction house event that everything would be legally binding. I would just move on. I had good fun during this auction Wink
1200  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Today Jul10-2013, soon we will witness an extremely high jump in difficulty on: October 10, 2013, 12:30:52 AM
OP did a nice call. Likely will end October between 200 and 300 million.
Thanks, looks like difficulty increase is on track with the prediction.

And it's happening Smiley
