I learn about patience and non-violence and forced philanthropy by pre-ordering from BFL.

they keep asking for upgrade the order and they never ship crap BFL

One of my friends received 2. On their way.. I think.

my second 60ghs Single ordered  07/05/2012 order  2831 been shipped on 26/08/2013

fist single mining non stop from the day it been received, no complains. Little noisy, once second unit received I will place both in server rack and remove covers.

You are really lucky. How much is customs duty for these miners in India.

1385  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bryan Micon's Butterfly Labs Scammer Investigation including Josh Zerlan on: September 06, 2013, 01:07:39 AM
Why is the FTC or KS AG office not going after BFL? BFL and its key people either have great contacts or have been extremely lucky.

FYI - and I'd not be surprised at all if he didn't want me to say this - but when has that stopped me before ... Smiley

ckolivas isn't making any more firmware releases for now.
His OpenWRT thingy (whatever it is) died - he's mining over the USB connection.

So I'd suggest if someone wants more firmware releases, they should band together and send him the hardware needed to replace whatever it is that has a reset switch on it that broke.

Now the reason being the obvious one, that Team Avalon fucked you all over when it comes to support, ckolivas has been supporting you all very well, even though in my Kano vs GitSyncom thread, Team Avalon said I was wrongs suggesting that hardware was required to support them ... yet they pretty much didn't at all ... yeah clearly yet another thing to add the the list of crap from GitSyncom ...

So, yeah, get him a replacement OpenWRT board (I think that's what needed) if you want more firmware releases Smiley

BTW how much does the module cost? Is there a link to a store? If you provide me the details I may start a donation thread.

The TP link openwrt is placed at the egress of airflow and gets heated up pretty bad with all the hot air from the modules. I guess either a paper heat shield, or relocation is needed.

Holy moly, that's awful soldering. That's how you make magic smoke come out of mysterious black boxes and such. They look like they were hand soldered by a high school student just starting out with no knowledge of the difference between a closed, open, or shorted circuit (they're all circuits, right?).

Time to break out the desoldering kit. Relevant Wikihow with solder wick or solder sucker: http://www.wikihow.com/Remove-Solder

PSA: DO NOT fire up your Bitfury without looking over *all* of your solder connections.

You can usually fix these by running the tip of a clean soldering iron between the bridged pins.  Some of the excess solder will stick to the iron.   Clean it off and repeat until the bridge is gone.  If that doesn't fix it, then it's time to move on to solder wick...

Apply some rosin flux and heat with a fine tip solder, the bridge should break immediately.

Tytus has some technical difficulty with the site - I'm sure he's working on it.
Hope all's good with the site data.

That is the default that comes with USPS Priority Mail.  Even if you order more, it will not list it in the tracking info.

You guys don't ship much stuff, do you?

I Use USPS much.

1397  Economy / Securities / Re: [PicoStocks] 100TH/s bitcoin mine [100th] on: September 03, 2013, 06:52:30 PM
Hi guys - we ran 6-7TH over the last 24 hours, but now is shipping time.  Most of this tested hardware will go out the door today.  We just received about 1000 more H-boards today and will start the process all over again.  We need only a few of these boards to finish August shipping, so the rest will begin building the mine.  More boards throughout the week!

We've got a great process worked out for speeding up the rollout of the boards.  It allows us to deploy a lot of hashpower quickly.  The boards can be a bit tricky, but I think we've got this figured out.

Cheers,
Dave
