What was the cause, and who were the culprits? Also were salted / encrypted passwords really leaked?
1209  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stop panic selling on: October 02, 2013, 06:13:51 PM
No do not stop panic selling! Sell sell sell!!!

We need all the potheads, who think that silkroad is something necessary for bitcoin success, to sell and go away.

Meanwhile coins continue moving from weak hands to strong hands.

exactly +1

I think US govt. wants BTC to flourish Smiley
1211  Economy / Speculation / End of Silk Road is good for the long run on: October 02, 2013, 06:08:15 PM
Many people associated BTC with drugs and illegal activity. Once the smoke settles, BTC will be partially absolved of the obvious user of such activities. All that remains for MSM to broadcast are white activities and it will get more people interested in investing. Unfortunately we will have to wait for as much as a few months before consolidation is complete. The wise are probably getting their dry powder ready and getting the fishing hooks ready at different levels like $80, $70, $50, etc.

just to remember all of you :

the reel price of this pizza is around fifty less than the price they are selling it right now

so think of it before bidding

care to kindly explain with links? I didn't get you completely.

If this board were to use fpga's from the XC4000E series it would have a hashrate of about 5.2GH. I would also definitely suggest the cpld to enhance stability, otherwise you are going to have to program the chip everytime the board is reset...

I used this FPGA in high school to program my self designed 8 bit CPU, and it completed used up the few K logic slices.

Now you're on the right track... Great chip but creates some LUT problems when comes to hashing.... I had once considered the chip to implement in a board but the price of LUT configuration didn't make it a good investment... diminishing income...
Actually I heard that the LUT's on an are trouble free when it comes to SHA256 double hashes, especially in the hands of  the right engineer.
