I was thinking that if this forum lacks an Undo button. Sometimes we may delete the post by mistake and need to un-delete that post. As per my knowledge, there is no way that action can be reverted and the post could not be restored.

Don't we need something as a "undo" button for this scenario?
422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Painting is now NFT on: February 17, 2022, 03:14:46 PM
As a Muslim I understand the meaning behind your painting, I appreciate your painting because you have gone to great lengths to make it on canvas. but 10 ETH isn't it too expensive? even though you don't have to pay for gas when launching it on Opensea  Huh

sorry in advance  Wink
Actually, the connection of a religion doesn't need to be brought into a business, especially if you feel this doesn't match your belief background, because if you feel it doesn't fit with the rules of your religion, I don't think it needs to be appreciated nor does it matter, because this is just a work art which can be traded by anyone who is able to make it.
It's true as you said, we are not religious experts, so don't mix religion and business issues, because we have our own beliefs in religion, if a business is not in accordance with your religion and belief then leave it, don't worry, we must respect every work other people's art, if the art he offers is suitable and in accordance with our wishes, bargain, if you feel it doesn't fit, just apologize, and say I'm not interested..

NFT is being used everywhere and i never heard any religious problem with it. However, if anyone has religious concerns over it, he/she can leave NFT and do not participate in buying selling NFTs.  Religion comes first and if you have any doubt about NFT conflicting with religion, it should be avoided.
423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake Wagered $1.3 million in super bowl bet using bitcoin on: February 17, 2022, 02:52:13 PM
what is Important here is Drake Won from His SuperBowl bets and Congratulations to His success .

If this is true, then its must be the best bet for Drake.

"Money makes money" and this statement holds true in this case. We, ordinary persons, cannot take such bets because we do not have that much amount of money. Only the rich can bet with big money and win big.

PSL matches are gaining too much excitement that even the players can't control their emotions in the field. Yesterday we witnessed the exchanges of the most controversial signs when the  pakistan bowler Sohail Tanvir under fire after obscene gesture on the field. Although both players were later fined 15% of the match fee but it was exciting to watch war scenes amount players inside the ground. PSL entertainment can't be compared with any league in the world.

https://i.imgur.com/ywvu9kz.png

This is not entertainment just nonsense and PCB must punish both of them so no one dare to do it again. Entertainment is seeing karachi scoring 174 runs. Finally they manage to give a decent target. Except Babar Azam all batsman of karachi contributed there part. Can karachi win today ?

I also agree with this and these types of actions are against sportsman spirit. I think PCB should not allow these types of acts in the match and take strict actions like banning these players for 2 or more matches. Unless and until there is plenty for these acts, players will not refrain from doing these stupid things.
425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is really controlling the Bitcoin market. on: February 17, 2022, 01:58:14 PM
Bitcoin is decentralized which means no one person or company can control it.Yes, bitcoin can be manipulated by directly or indirectly for example positive or negative news can trigger panic sell or pump, whales also affect bitcoins price like any other investment options.Every investment options can be manipulated. Bitcoin is just too volatile to predict where prices would go.

Bro, I really feel I have been controlling the market recently. Every time I buy the price goes down and every time I sell it goes really high. It's not China apparently. LOL I have been buying DAO Maker recently because they release a news that they're more open now, which means everyone can join their token sales with or without staking their token. But then the price continuously goes down, but wth, we'll hodl and never sell
I don't think it's because of China by any mean. Besides the China ban the use of bitcoin, we saw how many other powerful institutions, governments and big companies adopt the use of bitcoin including India who announced recently the legalization of bitcoin in addition to Chile and El Salvador.
I can understand how people ask about how this market can be controlled, but i know that bitcoin is like to other products can be influenced by the global world economy .
India has recently legalized crypto.. that means you do not go to jail holding some anymore… Chile.. I dont know.. El Salvador.. the experiment is an utter failure, I mean the country is a failure and has not managed to even provide a legal tender to its citizen and my guess is that they will soon undo this move.. they created a “special” btc which is not fungible to normal btc or USD.. so.. it is really not BTC.
I do not feel that BTC is a success story but rather mean it will drift off into a forgotten backwater.

First of all, india has not legalized bitcoin. They have only proposed a law that is not yet implemented. Both India and china do not control the bitcoin market. A country that has the biggest bitcoin mining farms does not mean that they are controlling the bitcoins.

Practically no one can control this bitcoin market. It's all decentralized with no one in the power to control it.
426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I’m planning to surprise my soon-to-be-bride sister some BTC on her wedding day on: February 17, 2022, 02:28:15 AM

For her soon-to-be husband, he’s not yet a fan of cryptos despite that he’s also introduced into it. He doesn’t have the same “investing” mindset as my sister is. I can’t force him, but maybe one day he’ll send me a message about it hehe.

I think it's difficult for this part, I personally introduce crypto to my husband, it's difficult, if there is no intention to know and find out,
I hope your sister's future husband is not like my husband  Grin

Even if her husband don't agree with the potential of bitcoins and crypto, she should not lose any hope and individually she can save her crypto gift and could even buy more with the help of her brother. She could tell her husband the price of one bitcoin today and then she can again tell her the price after a year or so. Maybe the husband can get impressed by the potential gains in bitcoin investment.
427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 16, 2022, 03:44:14 PM

Regardless of what they have done in the past, we can't make any emotional judgments. WI T20 sides are well known for having strong hitters, they always play much better than any other format and anyone can alter the atmosphere in just couple of minutes. Although we know this, it would be better for WI if they bowl first against IND. However, IND wins the toss and opts to bowl first. Wishing WI success in the T20I series. There are some great players on both teams in T20, so I expect this to be a thrilling game.

The first T20I is slipping away from WI ( I know its too early to say) as they have only scored 108 runs in 16 overs after losing 5 wickets. Nicholas Pooran  is top scorer right now, 53 not out. There is no support for Pooran on the other end. WI may be good in T20I but it's difficult to beat India at there home ground.

West Indies scored 157 runs which would not be enough against the strong batting lineup of India. Nicholas Pooran played a brilliant innings of 61 and the captain Kieron Pollard also chipped in and make a quick 24 but i think that west indies are 20 to 30 runs short. If WI wants to win this one, they need to take quick wickets right from the beginning.

Ahh definitely another win for Aussies as Sri Lanka are now 89/4 in 14 overs. 69 runs needed on 34 balls. Opener Pathum Nissanka is still on the crease with 43 runs along with Dasun Shanaka on 25 runs. This is last recognised batting partnership and they can take Sri Lanka to victory if they bat till end. Odds defiantly favouring Aussies at the moment.
Even i thought it was an easy win for Australia and i placed a bet on Australia but i would say Sri Lanka played really well in the end because they needed 46 runs to win the match in 3 overs and yet they were able to tie the match even with 19 runs required to win the match in the last over and the tail enders played their best to end up in a tie but luckily i won the bet because Australia won the 1 over eliminator.

Good for you that you won the bet as there was some brilliant batting by Pathum Nissanka as he kept the innings together though he lost his partners consistently.
I wonder what happened to the australians bowlers as they gave 45+ runs in last three overs. Lot of things to be reassessed for them.
429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 13, 2022, 11:13:36 AM
In second T20I between Aus and SL, Aus is 137/4 in 17 overs. Predicted score from here on looks to be around 160. If Aus can get to 160 then it will be very difficult for SL to chase it down.

165 runs is the exact target for the Sri Lankans and they have only made 64 runs in the first 10 overs and lost 4 wickets. It will be extremely difficult for the Sri Lankans to score at the rate of 10 runs per over for the last 10 overs on the Sydney pitch. With today's win, (if Australia manages to win), the series will be with Aussies.
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: there is no Play-to-Earn Game on: February 13, 2022, 10:10:32 AM
Have you known about this one?

Upcoming season 20 and economic balancing. SLP is no longer be earned by playing Axie Infinity in Adventure mode as well as in Daily quest

It is implemented because Axie Infinity team realize that their ecosystem is big enough and has jumped to a slow down period of its growth. Without huge new gamers, investors, its ecosystem becomes vulnerable to collapse if they don't have adjustment and maintain big rewards in Play to Earn mode.

They are releasing the new version of the game which is Origin V3. Axie Infinity: Origin is Coming! and it will bring some major changes in the game. I am sure after this update, there will be no unlimited production of SLP.

Also, i believe OP is right as the game token only gains value as long as the team is actually making changes in the game, creating the hype.
431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 13, 2022, 04:29:59 AM
I would not say that kamran Akmal was the best keeper but he was the only keeper we had in those times. Many times, Umar Akmal was out of form and selection committee wanted to replace him but then the only keeper Kamran Akmal insists that if umar akmal is out of team, he would also not play. This left no choice for the board to keep the both players in the team.

Have you seen the batting of umar akmal in yesterday's psl match ? He scored 23 runs in just 8 balls and due to his innings, the queeta team was able to win this match. He is a powerful hitter and was an asset to the national team. The two brothers can always play in a national team if they both are performers. I hope you remember Steve Waugh and Mark Waugh who served Australia for a long time.
432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: February 11, 2022, 11:57:20 AM

Everyone is expecting to see Indian team win this match and clean sweep the series but india does not have a good start in the match and are struggling at 42/3.

If india lost this match, nothing will change much but a lot of bookies will lose money as almost everyone is betting on indian win today.

Pant and lyer are trying to recover the loss of early wickets. Its 97 for loss of 3 wickets in 22 overs. Again West Indies bowlers have done quite a good job so far, as they have kept the indian batting quite. Seeing the WI batting performance if india can manage to cross 200 then india has bright chance of winning the game.
Oh Yes, it's best to bet on India win in 3rd ODI. Chances are rear for WI win. Let's see what's will be the result.

Even though India start was not good but they still managed to score 267 runs which is more than enough for the victory. Shreyas Iyer  and pant in the middle order came for the rescue and WI inexperienced bowling attack fail to capitalize on the early pressure which they created by taking early wickets.
433  Economy / Speculation / Bull Run in Bitcoin on: February 11, 2022, 09:45:02 AM
In 2013 we had a bull run but at that time bitcoin was not known to me. I myself saw the 2017 bitcoin bull run and then we had a massive altcoin bull run. We were expecting the same to happen in 2021 but it did not happen. Some people say that bull run is delayed and some say that next bull run will be after the next halving in 2024.

I sometimes think that bitcoin and crypto market are now matured and we may not see extended bull or bear runs. Bitcoin will reach a hunderd thousand dollars or more but it won't be a parabolic move. What are your thoughts on this ?

Today is the third one day match between India and westindies with India already won the series. But I am expecting india to clean sweep and win the series 3-0.

Everyone is expecting to see Indian team win this match and clean sweep the series but india does not have a good start in the match and are struggling at 42/3.

If india lost this match, nothing will change much but a lot of bookies will lose money as almost everyone is betting on indian win today.

But in this match I want to see Virat score some runs. We are waiting for a century from him since 2 years now.

You may have to wait another day for this as Virat Kohli was caught and scoring no run in this match.

It's been a silence on the GASTY4  appeal thread. Gaasty8 was online till yesterday but did not told any update on the progress. I wonder if he has given up on the recovery of his account.

Gasty4 did not come online after february 04. Don't know what that hacker is doing after getting hold of the account  Huh
436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin overtakes USD dollar? on: February 11, 2022, 07:47:32 AM
Quote
Let me know your opinion you think USD will overtake eventually the USD dollar?
I don't think it rational if you have more opinion explain why it an take?
No, bitcoin cannot overtake USD dollar because bitcoin is a decentralized currency created by Satoshi to help the world to eliminate errors and delay from users transaction. USD dollar is a centralized currency  owned and manage by the government.

The reason why decentralized currency cannot overtake centralized currency because bitcoin is a digital currency that has to be carry out through internet before it can be successful in transaction. Bitcoin is unpredictable to in the world which no body know when it will pump in the community and when it will dump in the community for people to buy and hold for future profit making. Bitcoin is not remote by any government like the way USD dollar be remote by their government for international investors to feel the impact of fiat money in their businesses.

Don't you think that the volatility of bitcoin will decrease when everyone will adopt bitcoin and at that point, only a few whales cannot manipulate the market?

Government right now opposes bitcoin but when they will see everyone interested in digital currency, they have no choice but to accept it.

The future is of the bitcoin, that's what i can predict.
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone using the following crypto wallets? on: February 11, 2022, 06:52:12 AM
I don't understand why you need to looking for a new wallet which similar like Trust wallet but you're tired of using Trust wallet? Those wallet you mentioned above is closed source and the worst thing you're included centralized exchanges wallet as your own wallet.

I can't give many recommendation when it comes to altcoins, probably Metamask is the only options. You could buy hardware wallet since it's safer than the rest wallet you mentioned above, it isn't expensive only around $50-$100.

Only Metamask that I use to store a lot of crypto is easier as an extension that is used in the browser so the choice is right for me.

I also bought a Safepal hardware wallet for $60 bought from someone, it's safe enough to store for long term then to store a lot of crypto.

Trying a trust wallet is the best.

For me, hardware wallets are the best place to store my cryptocurrency. Trust wallet , metamask, and all these software wallets offer the same features but they cannot be as secure as the hardware wallets.
I have not tried Safepal but i have some doubt on it as why it is cheap than the regular Legder Nano and trezor wallet. For me, i will only prefer a wallet from these two well-renowned brands.
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't punic, just hodl on: February 11, 2022, 06:33:45 AM
Hodl is the way forward if one really want to make profit from investment. One has to exercise patients hodl. That's is why it's good for one not to use all fund to invest or no source of income,  so that when it's dip their won't be panic.
Everyone has a strategy in this regard and what you are saying is also not wrong but as long as there are better and good moments to take advantage of, I think investing in times of decline and selling them now is also a move that is not wrong
quite good and I agree with what you say as long as it has momentum and as long as we are sure of the calculations that we make why not put it to good use because this is a pretty good strategy. But with a note that indeed we can at least do a good TA. When we can't do TA and just go along I feel hodl might be best for them.

Every decision we made is good and not wrong but the problem is are we handling/managing it carefully and sure? Only two things we must have on holding our coins and it was knowledge and good strategy in order to grow and receive a good profit someday.
Holding is the way to earn some profit during the highest point value of our coins and then we sell it.
But on the other hand we also have to be able to see what coins we buy and hold because this is also a pretty important factor in my opinion.
Regardless of what strategy we choose later, both for holding or selling and buying by taking advantage of momentum, we must also look at the coins we adopt whether this will be good or not because indeed this will also have an effect in the future.
Absolutely true and that's why doing research is so important before making a decision to buy a coin,
when it comes to long term I don't think there is a better choice than buying the top altcoins,
But what is clear is that everyone has their own decision

If you are buying for long term and yo do not have enough knowledge or time to research, you can buy from top 10 altcoins list from coin market cap and hopefully you will get good returns. However, there are certain gems coins that are fairly new and it needs some research to spot them. If you invest in those coins at an early stage, the return on them will be many times more.
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The solution is just there on: February 11, 2022, 06:17:36 AM
If coinmarketcap and coingecko can just start asking for team verification before listing a new project on their platforms I believe many will be safe from scammers, yes it's not their right to do since those platforms are just for listing available crypto projects but I heard they ask for criteria isn't it? They know how bad the numbers of scammers are growing, I think it's doable

Do you think that coinmarketcap and coingecko will take the trouble contacting the teams and verifying their details? They are more interested in listing any project which fulfills their criteria as the main purpose of these sites is to earn money and they least care about anyone being scammed by the projects listed on their sites.
440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is really controlling the Bitcoin market. on: February 11, 2022, 05:03:34 AM
Bitcoin is really controlled by its users. Bitcoin users and traders control Bitcoin and Bitcoin company only maintain server and develop its stability.

In theory, this is true that bitcoin is only controlled by the users. This is completely a game of demand and supply. The more there is demand, the more high the price of bitcoin because its supply is limited.

However, in reality, there are big whales, investors and exchanges who manipulate the market as they have a lot of bitcoin to sell and then rebuy and in this way, they keep on increasing their holdings and retailers are the ones who lose money by this manipulation.
