421  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do You Compare Your Trading ideas with others ? on: October 20, 2019, 02:13:57 AM
You know, I respect technical analysis and various trading strategies. But the situation is such that different traders can interpret this or that trading pattern on the chart differently. Therefore, analyzing the conclusions of many traders about how the market will behave can take a lot of time and confuse me. Therefore, I think that the best solution is to peep on the advice of a couple of successful traders and analyze the market yourself. Paid groups of trading signals of course can give valuable information, but here you need to resist the temptation to buy more than it should, thinking that the trading signal will be one hundred percent profitable.
Those discrepancies between the opinions of different traders are to be expected, there is not an indicator or combination of indicators that can tell you what direction the market will take with perfect accuracy, some indicators are more precise than others under different circumstances, and while a trader may see the possibility of a bull market because a series of indicators points towards that direction another trader will use some other indicators that point towards a bear market.
422  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy now or wait for Bitcoin? on: October 20, 2019, 01:43:42 AM
Hi all,

I want to invest some money in Bitcoin (long term investment)
It's better wait the next fall down (like the situation on December/January), or buy now?
Otherwise fixing a target for example 7000 or 8000 $ and buy in that moment?

Thank you in advance for your suggestion

If you do not know what to do how do you expect us to know what it is best for you? I can answer that question when it comes to myself because I know the circumstances of my life and my preferences when it comes to the risks I am willing to take in this market, but we do not know anything about you so giving you any kind of advice while helpful it will not address all the possible ramifications of such an important decision, for these reasons it is better that you do not invest in the market  until you can answer that question yourself.
I think it is better to analyze about something like this by ourself. Not means we not want to give him information, but if not start early we wouldn't be better in future. Especially some people's speculation or prediction or maybe suggestion can be wrong, or maybe only work for themself.
It is not my intention to be selfish or anything but there are many people in the market that ask the same question and they do not seem to understand that giving them an advice could have huge repercussions on their lives, repercussions they are not capable to understand since most of those that invest in the market never think about the possibility of losing their money despite this being the most common outcome, those looking to invest should learn how to do it by themselves otherwise they are not ready to become investors.
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My speculation for 2020 on: October 20, 2019, 01:17:03 AM
The next bubble on the cryptocurrency market will come sooner or later. I also believe that this will happen in 2020. In my opinion it will be close to the halving even, so around mid-2020 ...  Roll Eyes
I will prefer if the next bubble happened during the next year, I do not really care exactly when it happens as long as it happens, the last time we saw a bubble I was not prepared for it and while I earned some money it was nothing compared to what I could have earned if I had my current level of knowledge, when the next bubble comes I will really take advantage of it since I like to think the next bubble will offer all of us the opportunity to change our lives for the better.
424  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Hold on: October 20, 2019, 12:56:34 AM
]I wish I was that smart when I was 13, if this young person really decides to invest in bitcoin and it is capable of holding his coins then he will surely become a success story in the forum, however as we know it is not easy at all to hold our coins especially when the price crashes like what we saw some years ago, so as long as he also believes in the technology and it is not here just for the money he will do fine but if he only cares about the money there is a chance he will lose it if the price crashes.

Well not all 13 years has the mindset to save money by investing it in bitcoin or any other crypto for that matter. If all of us will do, then by this time we could all be millionaires, there could be some exceptions though, specially kids who have been raised in a family wherein he it being guided by someone and teaches him the value of early savings, not just in crypto but maybe in stocks.
Not all 13 year olds have that mindset but we need to try to teach them how important is to save and to invest, in my country almost no one has any savings and even the smallest inconvenience can cause a crisis in the family and this not only affects families with low incomes, this affects everyone, most of my friends have no savings and I know they spend their money in many things they do not really need, and without any savings then you cannot invest and improve your economic situation.
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ???? AFRAID OF NEW PROJECTS !!! ? on: October 19, 2019, 03:32:48 AM
Why do you think that everyone is afraid that some of the new projects
some people without doing any research,    They despise a project, which makes other people agree.
is this lack of literacy in the study makes them fail ?
Does this lack of information bring down a project, that MAY have a bright future ?
This happens because as much as we may like new projects and what they bring it is safer to assume that every new project is a scam than to assume that all projects have the best interests of their investors in mind, the second assumption will save you from losing your money in most cases while the first assumption at worst will limit your profits, when you see circumstances from the point of view of investors then it is easy to see why they have assumed this posture.
426  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC To 100K$ by 2025 on: October 19, 2019, 02:20:51 AM
My research show BTC can hit 100K$ by 2025, What I noticed is Most people sell Their Bitcoin for 10$ Profit, they dont hold btc and they sell it for 10$ or 20$ profit, these people will never get rich.
Those that are doing such trades probably think that bitcoin will not reach anything close to your prediction and prefer to take their profits now no matter how small than to wait for five years, while I do not know how correct you are in your prediction one thing I do know is that during the next 5 years bitcoin will be more expensive and since the money I invested in bitcoin is money I could afford to lose I can take my chances, if it does not work then I am still fine but if it does work then my life will change for the better.
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to alts if Bitcoin crashes back to $5000? on: October 19, 2019, 01:47:36 AM
I think if it only goes back to $5,000 then more than likely the only thing that will happen is money will come out of the alt coin market cap as well and the price would lower on all of them at the same time. However, if it crashed to below $1,000 again, I think we would probably have a problem. It would be a good opportunity for another coin to come and claim the top spot. More than likely Ethereum would take over as king.
Fortunately for us bitcoin will never go below 1000, those days are gone, but supposing it happened then I find unlikely that another coin will take over the market, after all most coins are using a similar technology than the one bitcoin is using, why bitcoin will go down that much and another coin that is similar will take control of the market, besides while ethereum is a good project it does not have a limit in the amount of coins and it cannot be a store of value like bitcoin.
428  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Technical Analysis Bullshit or Not? on: October 19, 2019, 01:18:44 AM
Never say technical analysis bullshit, if there is someone to say that I don't think he is have studied trading. I explain a little
about the function of this technical analysis can be for all kind of trading, not only for crypto trading. Its function is to predict
price movements, can also know the market conditions, determine the assets to be purchased, etc. I personally get a signal
trading from technical analysis that I did myself, from the part that I followed 70% of it earned profit. So it's very clear to me
technical analysis is not bullshit.
Your definitions and functions about technical analysis are precisely correct. In my own opinion, technical analysis is not bullshit because it is working and using this kind of analysis will really help you to make your trade more efficient and profitable. Honestly, It's been 2 years since i started do trading, and i always use technical analysis which is a great help in my trades. People who says technical analysis is not working are bad traders or people who can't earn from trading, that is why they say it is bull shit.
Those that say that technical analysis does not work or something similar probably had bad experiences when they tried it and now they think that if it did not work for them then it must not work for anyone, but this can be easily disproved because as we know there are traders that have been earning profits in different markets for decades and this cannot be because of luck, there must be another explanation and the most simple explanation is that technical analysis does work, you just have to learn how to use it to make money.
429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs dead? on: October 19, 2019, 12:56:52 AM
More and more people are choosing to participate in Exchange initial offerings, and this is understandable.
Firstly, the exchange independently and meticulously checks and selects projects. Secondly, it is a guarantee that the purchased coins or tokens will be traded on the exchange.
The risk of scam is minimal.
The risk of being scammed goes down if you participate in ieos instead of icos but it does not guarantee that you are going to make any money, after all there are many reasons why a coin may fail, and even if you invest in a coin that eventually becomes successful there is no guarantee either that you are going to be holding your coins for that long, there are many people that invested in ethereum and bitcoin when they were very cheap and sold their coins for a fast profit and they are still lamenting that huge mistake.
Sure, man, you are right. Success mostly depends on investors skills, patience and ability to wait, and some part of luck, oh course. Not all those who invest have everything necessary to succeed.
Many believe that you can be successful by just selecting the right coin but as you have pointed out you need many other things to become successful and many never cultivate those skills, just to give an example many believe they can be patient and wait until the market recovers and yet every day I see more members being desperate to get profits when bitcoin just went through a recovery recently and altcoins gave good enough profits until the summer of 2018.
430  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is controlled not just manipulated but controlled on: October 18, 2019, 04:22:50 AM
Any proof you have to support your statement? Some big players may use bots to trade simultaneously in more than one market so that they can take benefit of price difference. But to control the market, it requires much more than a bot! Market manipulation is easier said than done!

Have you noticed any such pattern?

Who ever created Bitcoin knows how to manipulate.

Simple:)
Satoshi does not have some kind of secret code in bitcoin that allows him to manipulate the price at will, the code of bitcoin is out there for anyone to check and you can see if there is something hidden if you do not trust him, but it is possible exchanges are trying to manipulate the price of bitcoin in order to extract more money from their customers but even for them it will be impossible to control the market since they cannot control the demand or the supply of bitcoin.
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin and alts on: October 18, 2019, 04:02:20 AM
Per market record performance mostly every Bitcoin price movement will create a domino effect to Altcoins like if Bitcoin price will fall it will make the Altcoins price to dump too and if the Bitcoin will soar high then most of the Altcoins will rising up too therefore the whole crypto market performance will always depend on Bitcoin movement

You can tell why, here's a simple explanation.

BTC dominant rate is 66.5%
Altcoins total dominant rate is 33.4%

Therefore it's normal that altcoins will just follow whatever the movement of BTC, and its really bad if the market continues to struggle as BTC's dominance rate will rise while altcoins will continue to have significant dumps.
It seems the market dominance of bitcoin has already reached the top and since then it has been going down, the market dominance is now at 65.8% and while it is still quite high we will have to see how the market begins to move, if it stays there for some time then most likely the price will not move in a long time but if it keeps drooping we could begin to see a change in the way investors look at alts and we could see a small recovery or why not an altcoin season.
432  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Top bitcoin trading strategies on: October 18, 2019, 03:36:59 AM
HODLing is the only strategy that works. Many HODLers here strongly feel that bitcoin is going to be the only money left standing one day. As it grows it will eat fiat currencies one by one until there are none left and all economies will be based on bitcoin on that day, probably 20 years away from now. If you also think there is a chance of that happening, or otherwise a chance of bitcoin existing as everyone's savings account, then the smart thing to do would to completely stop all thought of "taking profits" because those profits are in fiat, an inferior money.

Maybe you'd like to spend some of your gains, however, and I do the same to pay my bills as I no longer earn a fiat income. so my advice to you would be to simply HODL as much as possible, and if you have to, convert a little to fiat to pay for what you need.

Holding is effective but holding by itself will only give you profits in fiat, trading gives you the ability to not only gain more fiat but to get more bitcoin in return, this is the only reason why I stopped being a holder, my intention is not to obtain profits in fiat but in bitcoin, but if bitcoin begins to overtake most forms of fiat around the world, then that is the moment in which I will stop trading and I will hold whatever bitcoin I have at that moment.
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH experiences the deepest downfall this year on: October 18, 2019, 12:26:33 AM
since 2018 experienced a fall in prices for ETH I think now is the worst year for ETH, but we can still be optimistic with good potential ETH and also the price of ETH can return to a good position in the future, predicting 2020 can make the price of ETH recover
For me it is not the worst year for the ethereum but it is a good opportunity because yes the value is very low than before but if you think because the value is low so you have a chance to get more profit in the future and Im really sure that in 2020 also ethereum will become high again and become higher than the highest value of what it reach before so better to invest more ether now instead of buying other coins.
This year was not that bad, 2018 was a terrible year for all coins in the market including ethereum and while 2019 is not over if things remain the same then this year will be disappointing, could this change during 2020? Absolutely but many are giving up and abandoning the market and I am sorry for them because they are leaving the market just when we are getting closer to the recovery they were waiting for, but while I believe a recovery is coming I do not believe it will be as big as some may imagine.
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dont be surprised if ETH hits 4000$ on: October 18, 2019, 12:11:25 AM
I don't think the ethereum price will hit $4000 in 1-2 years' time because the number of ethereum in circulation is huge at about 100 million coins. unless the cryptocurrency gets to the mainstream, mass adoption by the people around the world. for that to happen we are going to need at least 1 billion people using cryptocurrency around the world.
There are many that do not take the time to think what it will take for a coin to reach their target price, while 4k for ethereum cannot be discarded it is almost three times its highest price and will require the rest of the market to have an incredible growth as well and there is nothing that even suggest we are close to such growth, at best we could see a price of 500 during the next months and that is if an altcoin season comes which is looking more doubtful with each passing day.
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will BNB reach $50 This Year? on: October 16, 2019, 02:08:21 AM
Bnb will rise fast in the coming months but I don't think that it will reach to 50$. There are too many bag holders especially around 30$. We need them to sell their coins to the more patient ones and after that, we may see the price is going to 50$. But, this requires time, so, it may not reach to 50$ at the end of this year. With burns, the circulation supply will decrease and the coins in the hands of the team will be decreasing as well.
My analysis is that the coin will end at $25 by the end of the year because the market in the last few days is very good and the top coins are recovering slightly. I think BNB is still a top pick at this stage but what I'm worried about is that long-term investors are holding a lot of BNB so there will definitely be a big correction before starting the price rise.

Anyway, BNB has a lot of good functions and if you keep this coin in the long run, making a profit is only a matter of time. Of course there are risks but this will not affect your profits much.
The market seems to be too unstable, there are those which predict a big rise at the end of the year and those predicting the opposite, but the market is struggling to find a direction and it seems like it is going to be in a close range for the rest of the year, I do not mind this since it will give me time to prepare for the next bull run and without a doubt BNB is a coin that we should watch very closely but for the time being it is best to concentrate your attention in bitcoin since altcoins are mimicking its movements.
436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Prices of Bitcoin and Altcoin are down now ...? on: October 16, 2019, 01:48:29 AM
In my opinion the price of altcoin or bitcoin this year has experienced a pretty good increase, especially bitcoin has experienced a 3x increase in price. but the disappointment of people still talking about altcoin which until now still does not provide much benefit for investors and holders. all are still patient for profit . I still hold some altcoins that have the potential to sell when they are on target
I do not really understand why some are still complaining that altcoins have not performed as well as bitcoin, traders should not care about which asset is the one that is performing the best, you should only look at the different charts and invest in the coin that is presenting the best chance of making profits, and during the last moths that was bitcoin, why the traders that were holding altcoins did not sold their coins and bought bitcoin and got profits as well?
437  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if the all countries convert to cryptocurrency? on: October 16, 2019, 01:21:41 AM
If all of the countries converted into the world of cryptocurrency then our world will be decentralized and the government will not have any of its power like before. Cryptocurrency are so powerful and that power will be given to the people and the decision making will be based on majority so it is a fair system since people will decide on what is going to happen because of decentralization.
Which is why it will never happen, do you think that any government is going to want to give up their power? Not only that all of those that are rich under the current system will like for things to remain the same since many have gotten an unfair advantage over the rest of us, if cryptocurrencies were adopted by every single country this will level the playing field and believe me that is the last thing the powerful want because for the first time in a long time they will have to compete against everyone else under the same conditions.
438  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie should trade or not? Please give me idea. on: October 16, 2019, 01:00:15 AM
It does not matter whether you are a beginner or not. I think that in order to trade is not the main thing. The main thing is your desire. If you think that trading will bring you pleasure - act.
Open demo accounts, make a small deposit to the exchange, open an account for a trading review.
Do anything, but don't be idle.
Most of the time this is the best course of action but not in this case, in many other activities there are no consequences for failing but if you fail at trading the consequences are very severe, the first thing you need to do is to acquire knowledge about trading in general and concentrate in how to best preserve your capital since most traders lose it all in just a few months, once you do that then you can focus on doing your best to obtain gains from this market.
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Create and Trade own crypto on: October 16, 2019, 12:39:24 AM
Many in this thread condemn the author for wanting to create another shitcoin .
But this is blockchain, this is cryptocurrency, this is freedom and its charm is that everyone can afford to do what he wants.
So if you want, go and create your currency. You have already shown more than one way and a guide on how to do this. Act if you want.

That is not the reason why most members of the forum posting here are condemning the author of this thread, we are not against new projects being created since we need them, after all even if only a few of the new projects are successful it is worth it as long as something comes out of it, but it is obvious he only wants to create his own coin to get money, he does not care about the people that could potentially invest with him and that is someone we do not need in our community.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Today's price drop on: October 15, 2019, 03:43:22 AM
after I saw the chart this is not an ordinary decline, maybe there are people or groups who make large sales so that the price drops dramatically this may be intentional to make the price go down with a specific purpose, usually normal coins are only in the range of 1-2%, and this one more than 10% and no news can prove this drastic decline.
It seems to me that a very significant moment is the cryptocurrency price decline, which was marked by the launch of the Bakkt futures trading.  It's no secret that the whole cryptocurrency market was waiting for this moment, because trading Bitcoin futures very quickly was supposed to affect the improvement of the situation on the cryptocurrency market.  But apparently, speculators decided to use this chance and earn more by lowering cryptocurrency prices first.
There have been many that have opposed the introduction of the futures to the market of cryptocurrencies since they thought it was an attempt to try to control the market and I think they were right, as soon as bakkt finally launched the price of bitcoin and many other cryptocurrencies went down significantly and it does not seem to me like a coincidence, if am right then this means we will see further decreases and it could be a good idea to be ready to get out of the market if it is necessary.
