1381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ate you going to spend or save you bitcoin? on: January 17, 2018, 07:53:12 PM
I think selling is the best thing nowadays, because now many popping up Altcoin has a more promising prospect than Bitcoin
and the new altcoin comes with a wealth of good information and services
Selling is a huge mistake have you not seen what it is happening with bitcoin the price has gone down a lot in the last hours, the price has recovered slightly and now is above 10k but we do not know what else it could happen if we keep getting hit by more FUD it is possible we reach lower values than that so selling  now means losing money and that is something we must never accept as long term holders of bitcoin.
1382  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: January 17, 2018, 05:40:01 PM
The idea of cashless society, is to reduce cost of mentainance physical cash, this ideas is being carried out by card member like visa and master card, and been regulate by apex financial authority in the country, cashless is one of the factor that make bitcoin popular, and easy to use.
This is silly maintaining cash is not a real problem, you only need to get rid of old money and print new one how much of a work is that? If you have printed several copies of a page you know it is not a problem to make 1 copy or 100, all of those credit card solutions spend a lot more money in maintenance since they need servers, security, cameras, repairments, wages, insurances and all kind of other things.
1383  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: January 17, 2018, 03:29:28 PM
I did not like the investment because it takes a long time. but I have taken the opportunity to halve because it was not too long. and I'd have to trade, rather than invest.
Investing are for those people who is willing to wait long to see their money earning and its safe than doing day trading but if you are good with trading then I guess you do not need to be an investor. As long as you earn with what you do then its still good.
Trading could be more profitable than investing but the keyword is could, most of the traders lose all their money in less than a year so while trading can be more profitable if you have the talent the truth is that it is very difficult so if you do not have a lot of money the best thing you can do is to develop a safe investment strategy that way the benefits you get in the long term are enormous.
1384  Economy / Economics / Re: Many new rich people are created from Bitcoin on: January 16, 2018, 04:14:00 AM
bitcoin prices continue to rise as this is one of the causes of increased bitcoin users, whose goal is to change a much better standard of living, give your feedback on this?
While there are a certain amount of people that became rich with bitcoin at the same time I think the amount is grossly exaggerated, very few people have held bitcoin since it was worth a few cents to the current price most people sold when they had the opportunity, they got huge profits but most did not become rich at all, only those that had a vision that bitcoin could become this big became millionaires.
1385  Economy / Economics / Re: Geopolitical and Cryptoeconomical Implications of Bitcoin in 2018 on: January 16, 2018, 01:55:32 AM
1. Bitcoin is going to be a topic of debate on the coming G20 summit, a meeting between the European Union and 19 of the wealthiest nations.

....

I wonder how our fearless world leaders will discuss bitcoin when all of them are computer illiterate and know absolutely nothing about bitcoin, cryptography, decentralization or any of the relevent topics on hand?

That could be the most interested thing about that meeting.

Somehow I get a feeling people believe politicians are educated on computers or any of the relevent topics when it comes to subjects like bitcoin. That blind faith in strangers--people you don't know and have never met, can be very dangerous. :/

Would be nice to have a few more checks and balances as far as politics go.
They do not need to understand bitcoin, they are smart enough to understand that bitcoin is going to affect their interests and the way they run things, that is why they are worried but without an understanding of bitcoin they are going to try to take measures to stop bitcoin, so it seems obvious that we are going to see even more regulations against cryptocurrencies.
1386  Economy / Economics / Re: When will more retailers accept Bitcoin on: January 16, 2018, 12:21:28 AM
"Japan: No Bitcoin Tax, Thousands of Stores to Accept the Cryptocurrency"

article published July, 5, 2017
https://edgylabs.com/2017/07/05/japan-no-bitcoin-tax-stores-accept-cryptocurrency/

"AirRegi is a widely used, tablet-based point-of-sale app in Japan. Currently, around 260,000 establishments, stores, and commercial facilities use this proprietary app to accept payments from their clients."

It makes sense that a transition to accept bitcoin would be underway for more US-based stores.

I think this year the bitcoins will be much more accepted in the market because they are getting famous and known all around the world. Especially in jaoan there are retailers that are highly accepting bitcoins as a mode of payment and we all know that japan is leading when it becomes in technology and i know that people will start to trust more the bitcoins because of that thing. I know that some stored in america are accepting bitcoins as a payment and now that bitcoins are rising i think they will now use it before itnis too late.
But that is Japan, for some reason unknown to me the Japanese are crazy about the latest technology and when you take into account their currency has been manipulated to extreme levels it makes sense they have a great interest in bitcoin but in many other countries, my own included, almost no one knows what is bitcoin and even worst they do not care.
1387  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitDice Casino V4 MOST ADVANCED, SECURE, PACESETTER CASINO. TON OF EVENTS COMING on: January 15, 2018, 07:55:24 PM
this is a wonderful gambling i ever seen because they have treasure i love it.

I like the site most because of graphic and colors.

Not only because of graphic and colors but also it is a long running gambling platform.

I think it's good to sometimes have use see these kinds of posts every once in a while. The longer we stay in gambling, and in crypto, the more used we have become to a lot of sites looking the same, and we tend to prioritize things like speed, provably fairness, even fees and competitions. But it's easy to forget that when we were new, one of the things that attracted us to games are... how they looked! And I'm happy to say BitDice hasn't forgotten about that. What people see and perceive as beauty can mean a lot to the newcomers, sometimes the only thing that makes them decide to stay.

Yeah, I admit it too that bitdice have really good eye catching site but still when it comes to design, everyone has different perspective. And mostly when they found out that they are losing on particular site some of them do not even thinking about coming back again eventhough it has good design and how they even looked. Because some of them are trying to earn on gambling, only less people are having fun with it

Yes Bitdice loves their design very much, some of the old sites don't have that flashy colours or calming effect that bitdice has. The best part is that they keep on improving and bring constant updates to the sites. I'm sure they'll do something special for 2018 and hopefully they'll win the 2018 gambling award let's make this happen.

Which award you are talking about? Is it the one where members can vote on this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1417922.0 ?
I do not know why you hope bitdice to win on such vote with so low number of voters and it is easily to be faked. Someone with many accounts may vote for a site and make his favorite site win easily. So if you want to see bitdice win on that vote then prepare many accounts from now Smiley

Seriously? We cant tell it was fake or something, but when you try to look at betdice they are still standing for a long time, which means they are doing a good job in keeping their cleints happy with their time.

I don't think someone will fake a account just to win a vote. I'm sure Alex and his team and any of the signatories of bitdice shall never do such petty things. The fact is bitdice is one of the best and maybe people will make it win next year. Look at other Ann so many complaints but look here, all satisfied users and happy ones only.
Yeah the difference is noticeable, while other casinos have some scam accusations against them BitDice is going strong and improving, if things keep going this way and if the developments on the road map happen according to schedule I have no doubts that BitDice is going to eat some of its competitors in the next years and those that invested in the BitDice tokens will benefit from such a thing.
1388  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Will Change Everything on: January 15, 2018, 06:47:17 PM
definitely,BTC can change everything. When I was depressed, BTC showed me the light of hope. All of my life and movements have changed with BTC.I can help the family with my needs. The biggest thing is changing economically.
Just remember to not bet everything in bitcoin, I like bitcoin and I think it is going to become a huge success but at the same time you need to have some other way to make money because if it fails what are you going to do? You will be in an even worst situation since you would have lost a lot of money and time that you invested in bitcoin, so if you can, get a normal job and make money that well too.
1389  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: January 15, 2018, 05:36:04 PM
The dream of getting rich with BTC is the dream of anyone entering the blockchain, and many people are thinking about how to get rich in bitcoin and blockchain skills. If people have IT skills in the blockchain world, IT's not hard to get rich from blockchain.
With skills like that then making a lot of money is not an issue but I think we are not talking about people like that, we are talking about your regular bitcoin user, and that is a lot harder, in my opinion we need to get as much bitcoin and hoard it and not spend a thing, if you can avoid the temptation to sell for 10 years you may become really rich in the future.
1390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Help please recovering my bitcoin on: January 15, 2018, 07:46:19 AM
Thanks guy.

Problem is I have had 7 emails since! 4 are closed down emails.

All I can do is go on every single site register every email address I have had and if I don’t get an error saying email already being used means it’s not that email.

I ment I sold some supplements to someone from the states. He asked me can he pay via coin so I followed his instructions to open a coin account and so on. Don’t have the guys email anymore.

I can remember like after a week of him sending me the money it dropped down to £0 so I thought wtf been hacked and just left it! Never signed back in. But even if the coin went to £0 it would of went back up once value of coin went up?
You have no other option but to try to find something, when it comes to bitcoin you are completely responsible to what happens to your coins, there are people that have lost millions of dollar because of their own mistakes, you need to find some sort of clue, check every email, look for old pieces of paper that you may have around, you may have written the information and you do not even remember.
1391  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you see the bitcoin economy 10 years from now? on: January 15, 2018, 05:38:48 AM
Bitcoin is growing fast and everyday a lot of people takes interest in this. I too started the other day and I am very willing to invest my time here. With that said, with the drastic growth of bitcoin worldwide, how do you see the bitcoin economy 10 years from now? Thank you as always.
It seems to me that in 10 years bitcoin will be a lot more established as a coin, right now bitcoin is an investment that gives incredible profits, and we are going to see this still in the next years, but at some point in their search for bitcoin people will begin to accept bitcoin  as a form of payment and I think it is going to come to a point where many physical stores will accept bitcoin as a payment method the same way they accept credit cards.
1392  Economy / Economics / Re: Capital One Refuses to Let Customers Buy Cryptocurrency From Any Exchange on: January 14, 2018, 07:48:24 PM
Capital One Refuses to Let Customers Buy Cryptocurrency From Any Exchange
https://themerkle.com/capital-one-refuses-to-let-customers-buy-cryptocurrency-from-any-exchange/

If people would leave to banks who adopting cryptos, then they would change their policy for sure. This decision makes me think about the crisis back in 2008. So some banks decide what we do with our money. Another proof why people don't trust banks and are so interested in cryptocurrency.

I hope a lot of customers will leave the banks who are refusing transactions, because these banks are now deciding what we need to do with our funds, how more crazy can it get?
This show to us why we need bitcoin in the first place, that bank does not let you to do something with money that belongs to you, if we were talking about bitcoin being illegal that will be different since banks will not want to be part of anything illegal, but bitcoin is legal and yet you cannot do as you wish with your money, if that bank keeps doing that I will not be surprised that in a few years there was a bank run against that bank.
1393  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the monetary models of cryptocurrencies are flawed! on: January 14, 2018, 06:34:11 PM
...if they are to be used for REAL WORLD money transfer and usage!!! Simply the fact that they operate with a limited supply, makes it so... Do you know any fiat-currencies with a limited money supply? No, because that would be just too stupid, right? Well guess what, that's what 99% of the crypto"currencies" use.

A friend of mine has written a piece about how an alternative model may look. Help spread the idea.

https://medium.com/@svein2122/work-backed-blockchain-money-and-decentralised-money-creation-e76886b90c3b
The real world worked with a currency like that for longer than the current system, and that was gold and silver, both are limited in quantity, you can extract more but there is a limit to how much you can extract every year, similar to the process of mining in bitcoin, so no, real economies could work with a model like this and in fact economies will thrive under it since the inflation will be way lower than right now.
1394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Make Money in Crypto on: January 14, 2018, 05:19:38 PM
You can earn crypto currencies from many source such as signature campaigns, social media campaigns. Try to do signature campaigns as highest portion of bounty goes to signatures.

There are many ways in which you will earn cyrptocurrencies like joining in signature campaigns, trading, mining and other social media like twitter and facebook. You have options if different coins too like altcoin, ethereum and the leading and most expensive coin is the bitcoin. There are many opportunity in this digital world, all you have to do is learn and apply it so that you can earn bigger profit.

Correct, but many people are simply too impatient to do that, like  most people here I began doing some faucets until I realized the waste of time it was, then I began to learn as much as I could about bitcoin and other crypto and money slowly began flowing my way, it took me some time but now I can say that I'm more or less happy with the amount of bitcoin I make every month.
1395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If ETH price exceed the BTC's on: January 14, 2018, 05:14:20 AM
I am so curious that if Eth price overcome Btc's, what will happen in crypto world?
For every BTC there are more than 6 ETH so the chances that ETH surpasses bitcoin in the price is almost impossible, now if you were talking about the market cap that is another story just in the previous year ETH was very close to bitcoin, at some point bitcoin was above by less than 10 billion dollars and many speculated that ETH will take the lead but that did not happen.
1396  Economy / Economics / Re: [BREAKING NEWS , EVERYBODY DO THIS IF YOU WANT BTC TO MOON ]!! on: January 14, 2018, 03:53:24 AM
I just send lightning network devs that we need this update soon, and spammed them like 10 e-mails. Guys do it also and send them messages to the e-mail below.

E-mail: contact@lightning.network
E-mail title: We need good news for btc growth.
Inside E-mail : Please guys you're the only ones that can make it moon.

Keep spamming them so they can read.
Are you even aware to the fact there are filters that you can create to send those kind of emails directly to the spam folder, we must respect the devs, they are the ones that make bitcoin a reality, it does not make sense to release the lightning network only to have to modify the code because there is a bug or a security issue, we all would like the LN to be here already but this is the kind of thing that is only ready until it is ready.
1397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It advisable to quit my present job for bitcoin? on: January 14, 2018, 02:47:02 AM
Bitcoin trading these days has become so rucreative that I am tempted to quit my present job which is not giving me enough time to explore more out of bitcoin world...

What's your take on this, should I go ahead and quit?

Thanks
Of course not, you can make a lot of money with trading that is correct but that is something risky, in my opinion the best thing you could do is to do both, it is going to be hard however nothing that is worth doing is easy but by doing that you will increase the chances of becoming wealthy in the future, so do both that way if you fail at your trades you still have your regular job.
1398  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Price will go up or down? on: January 13, 2018, 10:13:24 PM
Hello every one , today bitcoin price is already @ 14724$. Where should it go from here? where i will go , it goes down or up?
If it will go up, how high it will go? and if it will go deep how low it is?
Can any one tell me where the support and resistance level?
Finding those values is one of the first things you learn as a trader so find a good book about trading however I do not care too much about the variations of the price and since you seem to be a newbie when it comes to trading I will say that at least for a few months do not trade and hold your bitcoin until you have the knowledge to become a good trader.
1399  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is an Asset or Currency? on: January 13, 2018, 08:02:50 PM
Cryptocurrency was created initially as a decentralized currency. But along the way bitcoin became more of an asset, people start trading in and with the high volatility big profits can be made. Nowadays cryptocurrency can be seen as both asset and currency, some have more of an asset and some more of a currency.
first of all Bitcoin is an angel who brings a probe passive and active, but at the same time bitcoins will never be a means of payment in real life, as there is not only infrastructure, but society will not be perceived as for a normal life.
The infrastructure is already there you only need the Internet and a computer, most people are carrying smartphones which are nothing more than computers that make phone calls, you only need to install an app to read QR codes and then you can send to whichever address that you choose, we do not need anything except for the bitcoin fees to become cheap again.
1400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How high will ETH get to? on: January 13, 2018, 05:39:26 PM
As ICO reamains hot, ETH, as the token, finally breaks $1,000 for the first time, what's you expectation for the target price? Share your analysis below.

Original analysis from Kuang Ren:

The ability to move against the overall downtrend during previous oscillation pattern at high level makes ETH the leader in this round of uptrend among major coins.

Currently, ETH is the only major coin that sets a new all-time high and moves in an independent way, which can be explained by the increasing application scenarios. ETH will fall only when ICOs stop being crazy.

Original by Kuang Ren, translated and posted by AICoin Jami.
I think we may reach 2000 close to the end of the year, it may happen sooner than that but I do not know I think we are first going to see a correction and then an increase in the price of bitcoin which will be a setback, then ETH is going to remain flat and finally at the final quarter of the year ETH will begin to rise in order to reach my target price.
