421  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [Challenge] 500 MH/s of Scrypt Mining Gear (200LTC at stake) on: January 22, 2016, 04:22:47 PM
Looks like I'm too late.  Smiley I ended up picking that Titan and Alchemist 256 up, and would qualify for the bounty but Tupsu beat me out.
422  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] KnC Titan Cubes all dies working perfectly priced $500 or less on: January 22, 2016, 04:31:49 AM
I had a decent amount of respect for both mindtrip and Natty due to their history in the forms and our paths crossing previously but this entire episode is so embarrassing, perhaps in your professional lives you don't conduct yourselves like this and the forums are just an outlet for you both. In any case it's been a sad affair..

Quote from: quakefiend420

Just seems like more trolling on your part.  All hell broke loose when multiple users said your pricing was out of line.  Then the challenge thing popped up, more drama was had.  And now you're offering to buy cubes at a price that you scoffed at just days ago.  Not sure if you're serious, or just trying to prove that no one is selling at that price(aka, more fucking drama).  If you're serious, you're a hypocrite.  If you're not, you're a troll.  And all you're doing is further tarnishing what was once a decent rep around here.

So there you go.  I'll exit your thread now.  As I said before, good luck with whatever it is you're doing this week.

That sums everything up well. This entire affair has been very cringe inducing.
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: January 22, 2016, 04:23:14 AM
I think I'd like to request dropping extra languages completely.  Tongue Especially if it has to rely on google.

Really, who needs it? Everyone who has a Titan understands it. Seems like a waste of time, development wise. Only my opinion, of course.
424  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS - Canada, QC - Antminer S4 + Modded Antminer S5 w/ Power Supply on: January 22, 2016, 12:12:52 AM
$425 with local pickup, so no shipping hassle.

Makes no difference, there is no progress.
426  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS - Canada, QC - Antminer S4 + Modded Antminer S5 w/ Power Supply on: January 21, 2016, 07:49:16 PM
$400 and you can keep the PSUs.
427  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] KnC Titan Cubes all dies working perfectly priced $500 or less on: January 21, 2016, 03:33:39 PM
It's obvious that this post is disingenuous and only makes the whole situation look worse.

You're definitely losing this time. Sorry.

In for $365. What region of Quebec are you in? Local pickup is an option instead of shipping?

Still waiting.. OP hasn't been online since the 16th.

I'm also in Quebec (Montreal area) and interested depending on price.
432  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [Challenge] 500 MH/s of Scrypt Mining Gear (200LTC at stake) on: January 20, 2016, 04:45:35 AM
I know you guys have good stuff and I'd honestly like to buy either a cube or a set from you, but I really don't think we'll come to terms on price and I hate making offers when I know they'll be turned down. I've got a member here that's likely going to sell me a cube this week for a price that's good for the both of us, so that'll fill up my currently 5 cube titan. Once that's done I'll likely bid my time keeping an eye out for the ever elusive well priced titans.
433  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: (3) SMC USB NETWORK ADAPTER - MODEL SMC2208USB $5 EACH on: January 20, 2016, 04:27:25 AM
I'd take all 3. Would shipping to Canada be extra?
434  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [Challenge] 500 MH/s of Scrypt Mining Gear (200LTC at stake) on: January 20, 2016, 04:24:55 AM
Hi prelude, another person has provided information about potentially picking up 5-6 A2 miners to claim the bounty. He provided a text interchange that seems legit enough to the point that I'd consider the bounty. My question to him was as follows: why not buy more efficient gear from us? Why buy 5-6 A2's unless you have no power bill (which could be the case for this person, he didn't disclose that info). We rejected an offer of a 500Mh/sec Titan for $3600 and were pretty much dubbed gouchers.

What's expected is to provide information, which I agree is open to my interpretation, that novel gear is being procured. I don't believe, as prelude, you would would attempt to trick me. And maybe, just maybe, mindtrip and I can meet or beat a deal in the form of the more efficient Titan.

Furthermore all, I apologize for coming off as a dick at times, the Internet can do that to you. I do apologize, that's not me. I didn't come across elegantly with the point I was trying to make. I'm (and mindtrip) committed to have KNC TITAN miners available for market value. When people post eBay links of a 400mhs unit that was sold for $3250 from a dude with zero proof and the only other two batch 1 machines available were $3800... We're beating that. When no one on reddit or this forum is selling a fucking cube...we've got cubes working at 100%. When out of nowhere, everyone has a local scrypt ASIC dealer, I'm demonized for my skepticism.

I'm down for the cause. I love LTC. I want to find our gear a better more efficient home at realistic prices. I hate the potential that I wont be mining coin with MT, In the next few weeks. But I will, by damn. We will run these bitches into paperweights for a loss and celebrate it if need be. And I'll send the coin to a person that wants to run gear no where as efficient as ours in a week.

A buyer could of had 300, 500, 1000, 1500, 2000, or 2500MH in their hands today, but here we are.

My lead on scrypt hardware doesn't seem to be panning out, even looking borderline shady. I'll know tomorrow, but chances are I won't be buying from them.
435  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [9000 TH] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + VarDiff on: January 19, 2016, 11:52:26 PM
i don't understand why someone would go to ckpool? it's about profitability ,and last block that was found was 5 hours ago,and before that it was 19 hours ago...
i am with one of the communist mining companies and at least the blocks found are steady..
and believe me i was with slush's pool before, but i'm not sure what is the problem there to find so few blocks! is it really the luck and the difficulty?

You literally made me shake my head in discouragement.

If anyone is looking to sell a 162 chip S7, I'm buying. Transaction will be escrowed with OgNasty, PM if interested.
437  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [Challenge] 500 MH/s of Scrypt Mining Gear (200LTC at stake) on: January 19, 2016, 09:11:26 PM
I'm thinking about picking up a Titan + Alchemist 256 or A2 locally to claim this bounty. I'd be buying from a business which would provide me with a receipt stating the price for each in CAD, which would be well under $4700USD when converted. What else is expected to be provided as proof to claim? Obviously anyone can print up a fake invoice..

Thank you for that!

if we put in a dryer outlet, what cord would we need to convert from a dryer outlet to connect to the unit?

Tell him to put in an L6-30R

Yeah I can get him to do it this thursday.

We mined at f2pool since dec 29th

I will do a chart show him what it netted and then get him to to mine with kano.

Good stuff! I'm confident more will be earned using kano over the same length of time. Smiley
440  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Large review of Finksy/J4bbrwock server psus compared to ATX psu- photos up on: January 19, 2016, 03:54:53 AM
Do you know that the dual boards work with it?

Yes, they do work. J4bber even confirmed that they'd have no difficulty whatsoever handling 5000w of power, they're over built.

Is your breakout board able to handle 5000w if DPS-2500BB are used instead of DPS-2000BB?

The board have more than enough copper thickness and layers to handle 5kw.
But it seems external voltage adjust doesn't work on the 2500BB. I still need to try on the ones I have.
