441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another betting fraud in Brazil - part 2 on: May 12, 2023, 03:02:56 PM
It's a shame to hear that a fixed game occurred in a famous division like Brazil's league. I would expect such incidents to happen in lower divisions or third-world countries, but to have it happen in the A and B series of Brazil's league is quite surprising. Such stuffs like that destroy the fairness of the game and undermine its normal rules.

IMO every football game should now be equipped with VAR to check any incidents that may occur between players, referees, and even coaches in order to avoid any cheating or unfair play. I hope that we won't see anything like that again in the Brazilian football league as I am a fan of that league and really enjoy watching it from time to time.

It is quite sad to see that some athletes are willing to compromise their abilities and reputation for financial gain. Even though they might not be making enough money from their chosen sport, tampering with the rules would have a long-term negative impact on their reputations since supporters might never trust them again. They might pass up other chances in the future.
If other teams commit this fraudulence, the league organization needs to act quickly to correct the situation because failing to do so could destroy the country's football business in the coming days. Although I hope that this occurrence won't occur again, I'm sure that other players would still try if they were promised a large sum of money.
442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: sending bank statement for verification on: May 11, 2023, 10:23:43 PM

my question is, is it safe to share bank account statement for verification purposes?  the site is reputable, but in bank statement all my information are available. is it safe to share?
Yes, it is absolutely safe to share your bank's statement of account with a third party, whether the third party be a gambling casino or an exchange, or what ever, is up to you, but the main purpose of statement of account, is that it be used for verification in times of issues like you experienced.

And point of correction., your bank's statement of account does contain your name, address, Email and maybe your phone number, but it sure does not contain all your details like you said, atleast, I am sure that you scammers can't hack into your account through your statement of account, they will need much more information about your account, and such information is not available in the statement of account.

If the casino is having difficulties verifying that you have deposited the specified amount, they may ask you for bank account transaction details so they can check. You can omit the sections of the form that ask for personal information like your address and phone number if you are unsure about providing it. Simply include the information necessary to support your deposit transaction.
Your bank information wouldn't be in danger as long as you were playing in a respectable and reliable casino, in my opinion. If there are deposit delays, some casinos genuinely ask for bank information, but I don't see anything wrong with that as banks are hard to get through screenshots.
443  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why Opening an Account in a Bitcoin Sportsbook is the Future of Sports Betting on: May 11, 2023, 10:03:12 PM
I play at multiple sportsbooks so bitcoin books are a must. Instead of keeping money at 3 books, I can transfer money back and forth fast.
But since you do it , bitcoin transactions are very expensive, and if you use LN it is still expensive , it is best to Choose to use sports betting with a site that guarantees that you can withdraw without fees, there are casinos that do it and that assume that expense , and the casinos that implement it will be loved by the players, any player who takes 20 dollars or 10 dollars or even 5 dollars hurts , because to win 1 dollar Playing sometimes it becomes quite difficult to leave them there for a fee that is very much stop, I do not think that these things Should be left like that, the more Improvements they make in a casino, the more they will Attract their clients and they will be more Successful.

Even if Bitcoin is the greatest currency to use for sports betting, it's probable that the majority of us will look for casinos that support another sort of altcoin in order to avoid paying huge transaction fees. Everyone will be affected by the mempool congestion, and we won't be able to withdraw our money easily with any other options.
Bitcoin is without a doubt the most significant top coin we could select, but at the moment, I believe the main focus of players is simply to discover casinos that offer reduced fees or find ways to transact without having a significant impact on their funds.
444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Politicians behind the development of gambling platform on: May 11, 2023, 09:50:21 PM
A politician in the Philippines claimed to have had a hand in the development of the very controversial e-sabong platform he operated e-sabong so he can make a lot of money so he can use for the campaign, and his family to win local elections because the election in the Philippines is very costly many candidates are buying votes to secure their win, there were reports that he murdered their family's opponent because of e-sabong.
Do you think that government should have a rule or a law for election candidates not to have a franchise in any form of gambling, in fact, there are a lot of politicians who are operators of illegal small-town lotteries this is to accumulate funds they can use for election campaigns.

Congressman confirms past stint with e-sabong when it was not yet banned by gov’t

This is very common in the Philippines. The reason why the said country is filled with corrupt officials is that they are doing vote buying during the election period and the sad part is, people always allow them to win because of money. They take advantage of the poor people and buy their votes instead of sincerely asking for their support.
Many politicians are involved in the gambling industry because it's a source of huge funds. E-sabong has stopped operating because of the criminal activities that happened in the past year involving it. Politics is filled with corrupt people and they are willing to use their assets to get votes but would also use their power to generate profit as well.
445  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Lets Brain storm on how to limit losses... on: May 10, 2023, 05:22:58 PM
Every trader has come to that point in their trading history where the had to battle many things when the made their major loss. Some might have had so many bad thoughts flying through their minds while others struggled with emotional trauma. Losses is what no body ever plans for but it happens to be one of the major experience every trader must taste.

Most traders have also had their greedy moments turn out too hash on them. Some out of taking revenge on the market made tribble loss and many who feel extremely confident even when they are making wrong analysis have also tasted losses. Some even jump into trading premature maybe after getting an overview of what trading entails the feel confident and wants to explore themselves.

What led to your major loss in the market as for me it was staying too long on a trade i was making good profit before it turned all red and while waiting for the market to finish the correction moves i ended up losing everything.  How about you?

One of the greatest thing one can do to limit loses is just removing greed, if you can do away with greed, trust me you've fought like 50% of the problems you would face while trading that could lead you to losing a lot. If there's no greed attached when trading, you will manage risk and use proper leverage/ lots size, you will avoid revenge trading, you will not have to over trade and you will be contempted with whatever profit that you have made at the end of the day.

One's attitude toward trading might be rapidly altered by greed. Due to this, traders frequently ignore risks in favor of focused on making money because they believe their assets can readily grow as a result.
Sometimes, winning and success stories of other traders mislead us and persuade us to feel that the same thing may also happen to us, but trading success necessitates a lengthy learning process on our part. A desire to understand technical analysis and tactics is necessary. Although optimism is acceptable, we shouldn't greed guide our choices.
We shouldn't let greed control us if we don't want to experience significant losses and regrets during our trading journey. It's okay to go slowly and not hurry things since trading with certain outcomes is preferable to making poor decisions out of greed.
446  Economy / Economics / Re: how to overcome inflation for the community on: May 10, 2023, 04:52:13 PM
how to deal with inflation according to my community:

1. Save money
2. Prepare for an emergency
3. Looking for additional income
4. Consumption of domestic products
5. Start investing and saving

that is the way in my opinion to overcome inflation in society. then what do you think? Is this way possible to overcome inflation?
When inflation occurs, almost every economic sector suffers a major disaster. At that time, how to reduce the cost of money becomes the main issue. You have made several important points out of which I think point no.5 is very effective. If we don't invest, we can never protect ourselves from inflation. Because if we save in the bank that too will not be effective due to inflation. It is not also possible to get anything good by keeping holding fiat money. But if we can invest then with inflation our return on investment will be increased. So there is no alternative for good investments to survive from the inflation.

These days, we have to deal with the unmanageable situation of inflation. To be honest, nobody is exempt from it; it affects everyone from every area of the economy. Since we still don't know what can happen in the future, we need to be disciplined and constantly concentrate on our preparedness to tackle the situation. Saving, in my opinion, would be the most powerful tool we could have to combat this issue. In order to be financially independent in the future, we must restrain our wants to spend money on things we don't need and instead concentrate on investing and saving where we can generate profits.
447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul Vs Nate Diaz boxing Aug 5th on Dazn PPV on: May 10, 2023, 03:43:58 PM
Check out the press conference, starts in 10 minutes (19:00 GMT).

Should be really entertaining, these two aren’t going to be nice and respectful to each other are they Cheesy

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8NeF8Py464g

On the contrary, the two seem mellow, it's a far cry from the Jake Paul - Fury match where there is shouting and cursing going on I think since it's still a few months before the fight they will save this one month before the fight, you cannot stop two people who love to thrash talk.
I'm sure they will hype the fight to get more sales, anyway, I looked at it Jake Paul has the edge they are fighting on Jake Paul territory.
I wonder why Jake continues to fight MMA fighters, boxing organizations are not taking him seriously because he does not want to continue fighting real boxers.

Given how outspoken they both are, they will undoubtedly stir up interest in their forthcoming match by speaking up at news conferences. The game already includes trash-talking, and it's one of their primary methods for grabbing viewers' attention so it is already expected. However, I don't think the fight would be eagerly anticipated given the number of big fights between powerful boxers that will take place this year. Money will undoubtedly be a factor in their fight, so it seems sensible that they are making every effort to promote it. I simply believe that while this match will draw attention, it won't be one of the major events this year.
448  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is a web3 casino for you? on: May 10, 2023, 02:42:57 PM
Lately we have seen a lot of online casinos that are considering themselves as Web3.0 but in reality it’s just a name, they don’t over a real Decentralized experience for players.
So i want to know from you what’s are all the features an online casino should have to be considered as web3.0 casino?

Web3 has to be decentralized so if a casino is claiming to be a web3 project then it has to have all of the features of decentralized projects. The casino should be accessable with my metamask wallet that I won't have to deposit but can connect my wallet directly.

There should be no restrictions of which location can access the casino. If there's a restrictions then that means the casino is not decentralized as they claim but centralized just disguising so they can gain audiences from those who are interested in decentralization.

There are so many feature that should make a casino decentralized, the games has to be P2P. The casino shouldn't be involved as two or three members can host a betting game with in themselves although the casino will have their commission but not interfere.

One of the key elements that define a casino as 3.0 is decentralization. A decentralized network powered by blockchain technology should run it. Additionally, it must support several currencies, which will be advantageous to us gamblers who support a number of altcoins. A casino would also be regarded as web 3.0 if it produces fair gameplay, security, and accountability, all of which will simultaneously be protecting its players and the casino. Since most casinos also prohibit VPN usage, I hope that the innovative gambling industry will take the location restriction into consideration in the future. Players from gambling-restricted areas have long struggled with this restriction.

449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you prefer Original Slots or slots from 3rd party Slot providers? on: May 10, 2023, 02:02:41 PM
In my own experience, playing at third-party slot providers resulted in a reasonable win rate. I am more aware of how their slot games operate, particularly if the supplier games are included on the majority of reputable casino websites. For me, the most important factor is that the third-party provider is reputable, trusted, and relied upon by the majority of casinos since, in doing so, we can be sure that they will offer high-quality services and fair play. I don't see any issues with the original casino slot games because we can choose them according to our comfort level and personal preferences. Of course, since it would be more thrilling and fun for us, we would choose slot games where we always feel lucky.
450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How's your gambling experience right now? on: May 09, 2023, 09:58:15 PM
This is why it's important to have more than one asset all the time. Those who have funds in their casino accounts and those who have other cryptocurrencies apart from Bitcoin are not going to face any issues in such a situation. You could easily deposit a different asset to your gambling account and played with that.

I personally don't gamble much, so I can definitely wait for all this to become normal before I gamble if I ever wanted to. Others will obviously use the method that I mentioned above, using different cryptocurrencies for their gambling deposits and withdrawals.

I don't gamble much these days, but I have seen a spike in transaction fees as a result of the Bitcoin mempool congestion. I agree that migrating to another network and transacting with another cryptocurrency asset will be extremely beneficial.
We've seen this scenario before, and we should be prepared to deal with it, especially if we're into gambling and frequently make withdrawal and deposit transactions. The use of other major altcoins will be our way out of this transaction fee battle.
451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What kind of rewards/bonuses do you prefer? on: May 09, 2023, 09:41:23 PM
Hi we are changing the reward system and we would like to have some feedback before launch the new system

What kind of rewards/bonuses do you like ?

Welcome bonuses , cashback , freespins etc ?

or what kind of rewards would you like to see in an online casino ?

Thanks

I don't place too much emphasis on bonuses and promotions, but they do add another reason to select a particular casino. If I had to pick a bonus, it would be free spins with low wagering requirements. I've previously played in a casino, and it was disappointing because they provide a large amount of free spins but have a hefty wagering requirement.
However, the primary thing that concerns me is the validity and reputation of casinos, because nowadays, even scam casinos may entice players with bonuses and promotions, so we must remain cautious.
452  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Paano Ka Ba Manghikayat o Mag educate Sa Mga Kababayan Natin on: May 07, 2023, 03:27:13 PM
453  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Investment: Good Debts vs Bad Debts on: May 07, 2023, 03:15:37 PM
Borrowing money for bitcoin investment is of course a good thing,
You'll have to pay the interest of that borrowed money. What if you've loaned money to buy bitcoin just after the bull run and the bear market came? This is the worry that many are thinking about because a lot of people did that before and they did it on the wrong time.
Not saying that someone can just do it on the right time because you'll never know the circumstances that you'll be facing on the right time and if you'll be able to borrow money. We all believe that the price of bitcoin will rise for the next couple of years but still, you'll be taking a debt and you're obliged to pay for it while we're not yet profiting from the purchased bitcoin and you'll have to pay it with the fees and interests.

Although it seems risky, investing borrowed money in Bitcoin is actually a fantastic option but we should never forget that the price of Bitcoin fluctuates too much, and the bullish season is never foreseeable. When it comes to investing in cryptocurrencies, it will be a better idea to use our hard-earned money or the money that we can only afford to lose because it is always crucial that we will be responsible in utilizing our borrowed funds and we have to make sure that we can pay it back on time. We won't know when we can take the desired goal profit if we invest our borrowed money in cryptocurrencies, which could result in even worse repercussions from the loaning and jeopardize our financial situation. I like the concept of saving money to invest to the idea of borrowing money to invest.
454  Economy / Economics / Re: Try to save money while you still can, will you ? on: May 07, 2023, 02:51:56 PM
Because we can't predict what the future may hold, we must prepare by understanding the true worth and significance of saving in order to avoid hardships if unforeseen events were to recur in the future. We should draw lessons from the last pandemic, in which the majority of us lost our jobs and had no one on which to rely. Since we have no idea how saving might be able to save us, we should practice self-control, resist the impulse to acquire unnecessary items, and instead put our attention on planning for the future. We must approach saving as though it were already a component of our long-term financial strategy.
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Understanding cryptocurrencies and investment. on: May 07, 2023, 02:15:28 PM
Risking innovative concepts is the primary challenge, especially if we don't have a firm guarantee of their viability and validity. In my viewpoint, it would be wiser to choose tried-and-true coins if you are unsure because they have a solid base and have already faced with various market circumstances. It may be tempting to make an investment to test new coins because they appear profitable and attractive, but we should never take a risk without first conducting adequate research to have a better assurance that we won't regret it afterward. Yes, there are many projects that are feasible today, but they also come with scam projects, so we need to be cautious of them.
456  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you consider moving abroad? on: May 07, 2023, 01:44:25 PM
As much as I want to relocate abroad in order to pursue a better life and seize better opportunities, there are still factors I need to take into account, such as finding a suitable area for relocation, knowing that I would have a consistent source of income to support our living, and whether or not I would be able to adapt to the culture of the country I would choose. Currently, I feel more secure staying in and living in our country because there are so many online opportunities available. The growing issue with the inflation crisis is the only thing I have to deal with, but I'm certain that we are not the only nation going through this catastrophe. If we decide to take a chance on our path, moving to another country would be another hardship and struggle that we might encounter.
457  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you still advised more buy and store? on: May 06, 2023, 10:44:58 PM
yes exactly fulfilment of family needs should be kept first and then save money because family is always the first priority. As you save money but your family get deprived of health then you will always regret this thing so I have an idea that you should save some amount for longer time may be it takes lots of time but will be in advantage for you. Buying for one time is also a good idea and i think that if a person can afford then regularly saving money in Bitcoin will be the ever successful start  but if a person cannot afford putting money on regular basis then putting just once in a single year is the best formula.
^I like your perception, family first before anything else and invest only what you can afford to lose.
Saving money is very important, but not at the cost of our loved ones' health and well-being. Your idea of saving a portion of our income for a longer period of time is a wise decision that can benefit us in the long run. Investing in a reliable asset like BTC can also be a good option for those who can afford it, it is proven that has had a return in recent years.
However, it is important to remember that any investment comes with risks, and it is always a good idea to do your research before making any financial decisions. So investing BTC in a DCA way would be the best move that you will never forget once you get a profit on it.

I agree that our families should come first, but we should also think about the value of investing in cryptocurrencies when it comes to our future financial freedom, especially if we have selected a coin with potential like Bitcoin. Only investing the money we can afford to lose is crucial, but we also need to allocate a portion of our income to buy Bitcoin in order to be well-prepared for the approaching bullish season, from which we will still profit. I'm sure that it is a challenging thing to focus on investment but it will be our foundation for a profitable life in the future so we must see its value.
458  Economy / Gambling / Re: Loyalty Bonuses & Promotions on Crypto Casinos and Sportsbooks on: May 06, 2023, 10:26:43 PM
This list will require a few hours of work to complete. Op undoubtedly spent hours checking each site to see about its perks and promos. It will be of great assistance and enlightenment to those who are weighing whether or not to believe such a casino when it comes to their incentive scheme. The fact that some casinos offer such awards and bonuses also astonished me. It will serve as a short reference for people who consider bonuses and promotions while selecting a casino.
459  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A nob in trading needs help on: May 05, 2023, 06:23:04 PM
Some people believe that we can earn our desired profit in trading in an instant, but the reality is that despite a large capital, we can't reach our target profit objective if we don't have the interest to learn all we need to succeed. Predictions are not always accurate. The actual problem of trading is dealing with market volatility and managing our emotions as a result of fluctuations. Discipline, which is required in trading, involves a lot of courage and determination. Don't rush things out and focus on gaining knowledge first.
460  Economy / Economics / Re: Have a Income? Invest in Crypto or Not? Let's think realistically on: May 05, 2023, 05:45:24 PM
Trading is challenging because it will take a lot of patience and effort for you to become familiar with efficient risk management techniques. When you hear about other people's successes, it may sound simpler or appear to be a path to wealth, but this is a false assessment of the situation. We often risk everything we have because we have the false impression that we can profit from it easily, which typically leads to significant losses. Trading requires a lot of learning, and even experienced traders suffered a lot of losses in the beginning. Although it is profitable, trying it without deeper knowledge will just leave you frustrated. If you truly want to pursue it, however, you must make sure that you are aware of potential challenges that you can encounter while doing it. You should only risk the amount of money that you can afford to lose, and as much as possible, allocate only a percentage of your salary.
