1441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which Altcoins Have Good Opportunities in the Next Year on: May 12, 2022, 04:18:28 PM
NFT projects are on-trend but losing their credibility because of unsuccessful projects that only lasted for a short period. As for me, well-established coins are still best for investment this year. We might be in a bear season but it's still best to pick top coins while the prices are still low. Bitcoin, Ethereum and BNB are some good choices.
1442  Economy / Economics / Re: Will BTC be used as a world currency?? on: May 12, 2022, 03:56:18 PM
it will be very difficult to use BTC as legal tender globally... The IMF and various parties will certainly not be happy with this, so it is not surprising that recently crypto regulations have been tightened, which will limit the use of crypto in the future
true as you said it is very difficult to use bitcoin as world currency, because many parties will challenge all that, if we want to force bitcoin to replace world currency, we will definitely face many problems, and of course many countries will challenge bitcoin, I hope such a proposal does not need to be discussed again.

Bitcoin could only be a supporting currency because I'm sure that because of its characteristic as a decentralized currency, the government wouldn't approve or agree with it. Though there are countries that are supporting Bitcoin, there are still things that other countries must consider. It still needs more adoption and people need enlightenment about its purpose.
1443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get rid of useless tokens on: May 12, 2022, 03:21:21 PM
I could only speak in relation to my experience, but I don’t think that there’s a way right now to get rid of such coins but to change your wallet. Like what has been mentioned, this are useless coins, then might as well ignore them and to not do anything about it at all. Also, I would agree with the other users who have said that by making your wallet address more visible to those sending such, then you would most likely receive such coins.
Coins that are not useful or where do they come from, it's better if we just ignore them,
we never know what risk will happen if we use the coin so as much as possible to minimize the risk,
I think it is sent randomly and sometimes I also receive such coins in my wallet

I've been receiving lots of useless random coins but I keep on ignoring them because I believe that it's just one of the scammers' strategies to attract new victims. We can't get rid of them because we can't control them from sending yet we can ignore them so we'll also be safe from scammers.
1444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PROS AND CONS OF CRRYPTOGAMBLING. on: May 12, 2022, 02:49:38 PM
Any form of gambling has risks but on the other side, it also gives the players a chance to make a profit though there's still no assurance. Gambling will still be worth it if we'll know how to handle it right. If we know when to stop and when to continue, then we're handling the risks of it the right way. Compared to physical casinos, crypto gambling provides us anonymity and it's also a good thing that we could gamble whenever we want.
1445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: WE NEED A HALL OF FAME? on: May 12, 2022, 02:16:24 PM
That sounds like an interesting idea but I don't think big-time players would disclose or even share details about their winnings publicly. One of the common reasons why gamblers have chosen crypto gambling is the anonymity that it provides so this idea though exciting won't protect their privacy either.
1446  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Short term investment suggestion on: May 11, 2022, 04:23:54 PM
Usually, the profitable coins that are just good for short-term investment nowadays are projects without a strong foundation and mostly carried by the hype which is too risky. If you want sure profit, I suggest that you'll focus on well-established coins. Though it will take time for you to gain your target profit, at least you'll have assurance that you won't put your funds in bubble coins.
1447  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto Bet: A wider Array of Altcoins are being usef on: May 11, 2022, 03:36:45 PM
I think gamblers switch from using fiat to crypto because it is easy to use crypto and can be used for gambling too. In addition, people who start using crypto also see crypto as a way of investing because of the many options they can use as their investment. As an option to gamble, they are facilitated with lots of coins to gamble on and with the low cost of sending and withdrawing transactions that are cheaper than fiat.

The pandemic is another factor that highlights the advantage of crypto via fiat since it has lot of limitation and restrictions when it comes to online gambling. I don't know if we can already say that crypto casino is already gaining more players than fiat without any legit statistics to support but one thing is for sure that crypto casino increase there volume and valuation when pandemic hits so maybe online fiat casino is now starting to slowly adopt crypto.

Pandemic is one of the factors why most gamblers have switched to using fiat to crypto because of the convenience that it provides especially during the times that physical casinos have closed. Gamblers are now comfortable using crypto when it comes to gambling because it could also provide profit as they invest in it. People always seek convenience and comfortability and that's what cryptocurrency could provide in gambling.
1448  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best casino other than Stake . com? on: May 11, 2022, 03:19:18 PM
Our choice of casino site will depend on our comfortability and perspective. There are lots of reputable and trusted sites that you could find but as for me, my personal choice is Duelbits and Sportsbet.io. If you're having a hard time picking a good and trusted casino, you could check their trust rate and feedback.
1449  Economy / Gambling / Re: I miss the old OnChain gambling on: May 10, 2022, 03:07:52 PM
I also tried the same feature in old casinos before and it was fun but the problem is, we couldn't play the same way before. These days, we need assurance and security and in exchange for that, we're required to pass KYC. We could still enjoy different games nowadays securely and we could also get rid of scammers with the help of security features of the latest casino sites.
1450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Saved Me. on: May 08, 2022, 05:07:00 PM
I will only believe to this story if the OP is not known for being a thread starter. His account just recently created last March 9 and if this story is real, This thread should be his first created thread. Maybe some screenshots of the trading journey will make this story really authentic. I’m really not buying this kind of story for newbie especially earning thrice the profit while crypto trading risk is very high considering the current volatility of price in both up and down.

OP shared his experience. You were not there when it happened, even if it did not happen I do not see how what he shared should be a problem. It will be a problem only if he is going to ask someone to give him money to trade for him. Without that, no problem. After all people write fictions. Another thing is that you have to know that because someone is a newbie here does not mean they do not have knowledge about trading or bitcoin. That was a mistake I made before thinking  it was so. Besides not everyone fails at everything they do and OP may be one of such exceptional case. What I think we would have done with his story is to ask him to share his trading formula with us and not to doubt him.

I don't actually see any problem with Op sharing his story. It's a good thing to share Bitcoin stories to inspire others, especially those who failed in some of their investment or trading experiences. Bitcoin has been called the lifesaver of many investors because of the profit that it provides even during unexpected times. I'm sure that Op has an effective strategy for continuously gaining a profit and recovering from his losses.
1451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I’m done with trash coins!! Looking for something promising on: May 08, 2022, 04:51:56 PM
There's no other promising coins on the space bro except of the top altcoins in the market , coz they are legitimate than what others recommendations in the space, for example a new projects which is clearly very unpredictable.
So you better to stay away to it and choose a project where you can really get good return than trying a new projects that you don't even know if you can get from it after all or not. Be smart and be wise to prevent trash coins.

If OP was feeling the heat all the way back in February, imagine how he must be feeling right now with alts down worse than BTC, NFT down over 90% in price AND volume.

It's all been said before and will be said again. If it's not a coin with utility like Bitcoin and Ethereum, it's trash. Period.

OR choose a dapp you use a lot, then at least your coin can DO stuff.

The thing is, some people are searching for their luck by risking in new projects expecting that it could reach better than what top coins have achieved for years but I certainly agree that top coins will always be the best pick especially if you seek assurance. Some coins these days are just being hyped but still got no future so better be sure than sorry.
1452  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Few Steps To Avoid Losses In Trading. on: May 08, 2022, 04:20:24 PM
To sum it up, knowledge and wisdom about trading are too important if we want to succeed. Trading is too broad so we have to study about its fields. If we're fully equipped with the knowledge, we'll be able to apply different strategies and even deal with every market situation. Also, having the proper mindset is important so we'll know how to make the right decisions wisely.
1453  Economy / Economics / Re: Share your Money management strategy on: May 08, 2022, 04:01:09 PM
What I've learned when it comes to financial management is to avoid borrowing or loaning. As much as possible always allocate enough funds for savings for emergency purposes and investments. It's also important to have the right lifestyle where buying your needs over your wants is a priority. It isn't easy but if you know how to control your unnecessary expenses, you'll be able to handle your funds right.
1454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop in 2022 on: May 08, 2022, 03:48:55 PM
Anyone still joins airdrops this day? If Yes which platform are you using to participate in Airdrops? I'm using coinmarketcap but I never get a single payment from projects on the platform.

I stopped joining Airdrop these days.  The ones I received in my wallet I have been able to sell. Imagine sending a token worth 14$ and selling it will require a gas fees of about 35$, because the token is on the Ethereum network.

I experienced the same thing lots of times and still ended up with nothing. The cost of the fee is higher than the actual value of the airdrop tokens which is quite disappointing. I must say that airdrops these days are too different from the airdrops that we had years ago. They're now asking for too many tasks but don't pay their participants enough.
1455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NFT's hype over? on: May 08, 2022, 03:33:36 PM
I believe, yes, the  NFT hype is fading simply because investors already know how it works. It's only worth investing in the beginning and most NFT projects in the past didn't survive. People find it too risky now to choose NFT over well-established coins. It would be  better to risk on well-trusted coins than on projects without any concrete plan.
1456  Economy / Gambling / Re: How do you advertise your casino? on: May 08, 2022, 02:55:35 PM
And sometime these managers are not the official casino employees. They are either freelancers or working from their office for them.
So whollely relying on others and not using your own understanding would put you in trouble. So be careful.
Managers are part of freelancers so generally they are only bound by marketing contracts to promote projects based on internal agreements, so managers only ensure the campaigns they manage will distribute payments, but do not guarantee the project is potential for further development.

I am afraid that the signature manager cannot guarantee the future of the project development, or that the project will pay out reward to the campaign participants at all, unless the campaign pool money is in his escrow.

Sometimes I wonder which campaign is better for the participant. Is it the campaign managed by a freelancer manager, or a person from the project team.

As for me, experienced and trusted signature campaign managers could handle it better. There are lots of trusted campaign managers on this forum that advertise casino sites and so far most of their projects are successful. It will only be doubtful if the project itself has no future but as long as a project has a good foundation and is being managed and handled by trusted managers, I believe that it would succeed.
1457  Economy / Gambling / Re: Another New Rule On Gambling Adverts Ban Celebrities and Sports Stars on: May 08, 2022, 12:42:29 PM

I agree on this one, kids nowadays are really that smart nor aware on this current tech we do have today on which they do even surpass into those oldies when it comes to awareness and
how this tech works and its true that there's no way that we could really get rid of this one or avoid which means that proper guidance and make themselves aware about gambling
addiction or effects should really be put up into their mind because no matter how the government would impose bans on different forms it would be still useless i would say.
I support the decision - because society is a blend of different cultures and background. In some cultures gambling is taken as a sin/crime. So the family cannot afford to see their kids going to casinos. Or even they don't want their husbands to gamble. So better safe than sorry.

I hope there would also be programs that will educate families on how to help and support their family members who are suffering from gambling addiction. The main support must come from the family first. It's really heartbreaking that there are broken families because of the curse of gambling addiction so everyone must be aware of how to handle such situations.
1458  Economy / Economics / Re: Standard of living on: May 07, 2022, 04:00:25 PM
In our country, the inflation rate is continuously increasing. The unemployment rate is also increasing because some businesses and huge companies are filing for bankruptcy because of inflation. Corruption is getting worse and the people are being divided because of politics. As for me, the current situation in our country isn't getting any better and we're also affected by the war between Russia and Ukraine.
1459  Economy / Economics / Re: Get, Save & Invest. on: May 07, 2022, 03:35:15 PM
Earn enough funds so you'll be able to save and when you have enough savings, you'll also be able to allocate enough funds for investment. If you want to invest then you have to make sure that you can handle and manage your funds wisely. One common mistake of some people is that they spend too much and don't save for the future and they just borrow so they could invest. Investment is important preparation for the future so we have to value it.
1460  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: cryptocurrency trading courses on: May 07, 2022, 02:52:55 PM
If you have money to pay for training, then you need to use your money to acquire knowledge. Of course, you can try to learn the basics of trading yourself, but in this case, you will need a lot more time and there is no guarantee that you will choose the right strategy for training.

I certainly agree because we could pick trading courses of our choice but the strategy that we could apply still depend on our skills. Trading courses will surely help but you have to make sure that you'll have the eagerness to learn because trading is too broad for us to understand clearly. I suggest that while taking a trading course, you'll also do a self-study about the different fields of crypto trading.
