441  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today I Have Shared About The Benefits Of Bitcoin With My Friends on: May 29, 2023, 11:17:39 PM

This!
Always state the pros and cons not only the positive side, it should be balanced and understand the possible risk.
It's not advisable to only tell the positive side of Bitcoin without addressing the associated risks, there should be transparency and providing a balanced view which is considered critical when introducing someone to Bitcoin.  By discussing both the benefits and risks, you give knowledge to the individual to make a good decision based on a comprehensive understanding of how Bitcoin will work.

Because IMO, failing to mention the risks can create unrealistic expectations and may have a failure in investment decisions.  It's always important to ensure that they understand the potential downsides and challenges involved in adopting and investing in Bitcoin.
442  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why is Bitcoin always in a state of BULL RUN on: May 29, 2023, 10:59:27 PM
There's no correlation between the stock market and the crypto market, which doesn't directly impact the traditional stock market when Bitcoin price moves upward or it's having a bullrun.

Always in a state of bullrun?
No Bitcoin doesn't move like that but if you'll ask why there's a bull run or if it always often happens just because there will only ever be 21 million Bitcoins in existence, and this limited supply creates a potential for a price increase when demand increases.  Another factor could be Bitcoin's halving events, which reduce the rate at which new Bitcoins are created and potentially Bitcoin price will become a bull run.
443  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do not rely on articles as resources to learn Bitcoin on: May 28, 2023, 11:59:14 PM
I used https://bitcoin.org/ to find out about Bitcoin for the first time. But since I got to know this forum, I got to know him more through this forum.
This was the most I recommend when someone asked me about Bitcoin and how to learn, the good this is the website support different languages as you know for better understanding.

I would recommend exploring alternative resources beyond articles such as joining online forums and communities dedicated to Bitcoin technology learning.  Platforms like Reddit (r/Bitcoin), Stack Exchange, or here in our forum Bitcointalk have active communities where you can ask questions, participate in discussions, and learn from experienced Bitcoin enthusiasts.  If you've researched Bitcoin technology, considering multiple resources would be a better option.
444  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Making a x10 or x100 by short selling on: May 28, 2023, 11:45:59 PM
How can I know which coins would have earned me x10 if I had sold short in the last few months?
If most people here including me know about this, it's supposed we're a millionaire now.  Wink

Yes, it's possible.
Short selling can potentially lead to profits if executed correctly, but how you'll know if the market is so volatile and the price is unpredictable where it goes?  That's very risky and it seems you gambled your money.

Try your luck here and pick which one of them has potential.

445  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Recommend a non custodial wallet for IOS on: May 28, 2023, 11:12:48 PM
Trust Wallet is not good, as it uses a special private key that can not be used with other wallets as far as I know.
Trustwallet seed phrase is BIP39 seed phrase.

I am not recommending Trustwallet becusee it is one of the worst bitcoin wallets that I have used and it is close source.
To be honest, I still use this Trustwallet but for a hot wallet.
The thing that I liked most is this wallet compatible with several blockchains that could easily navigate your coins to another exchange.
But of course, if your purpose storing in the long term, I'll not recommend this wallet either.  Disregard the security while it is easy to use in a convenient way as a hot wallet, not your cold wallet.  It's better than using a web wallet like MyEtherWallet.

Exodus wallet would be preferable for me in IOS phones.
446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the disagreement between the Government, Bank and Bitcoin? on: May 28, 2023, 10:54:58 PM
Because Bitcoin is different from Electricity and the Internet, which government is out of control of Bitcoin
Because they know that Bitcoin operates outside the traditional financial system, which can make it difficult for governments to regulate and monitor them effectively.  IMO, this lack of regulatory oversight raises concerns about money laundering, tax evasion, and other illicit activities.

There's a conflict between decentralized and centralized financial systems, people do love financial freedom while the government is always against it and wanted to regulate people's money.  It might be because this was the duty of the government and banks which are responsible for implementing monetary policy to manage a country's economy.

Good thing, as of now not all governments and regulatory bodies have the same perspective on Bitcoin.  Some are opening their yes and embracing this new technology which they think is very helpful to their economy.
447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or banking investment? on: May 27, 2023, 11:33:57 PM
Which do you preferred your money to be save in as investment? Bitcoin or bank! What's your reason?
IMO, the choice between Bitcoin and banks depends on your risk appetite and understanding of the respective markets.  If you prefer the potential for high returns and are willing to accept the accompanying risks, Bitcoin might be an option for you and if stability, security, and more modest returns are your priorities, then keeping your money in a bank may be a more suitable choice.

But since Bitcoin is very volatile and many people already understand this, they think storing value is a good idea that saving your money on the bank which the banks making a profit on your money.
448  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Choosing a cryptocurrency pair on: May 26, 2023, 11:59:30 PM
IMO, when it comes to trading cryptocurrency pairs, I usually consider these important factors such as liquidity, market volatility, and individual project fundamentals.  Because I believe many traders focus on major pairs like BTC/USD, ETH/USD, or BTC/ETH as they tend to have higher liquidity and trading volume, making them more stable and predictable.  So these pairs are also widely available on various exchanges.

I don't have any specific coin I trade, especially on futures. I mostly look for the trading pairs that are most trending or top percentage increase/loss in the last 24 hours for my trading strategy.
It's risky but I like it because this strategy will earn profit in a short period of time.
One of my friends said, "You can ride the wave of momentum and make a profit on it", which is he is also liked to trade a trending pair and he didn't care if that was pump and dump as long as monitor your positions closely.  Because this was my advice, keeping an eye on trends and monitoring percentage changes can be a viable strategy if executed with discipline and careful analysis.  The last thing is, there should be a stop-loss what ever strategy it is.
449  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How i can manage my job and my Bitcoin Trading at the same time? on: May 26, 2023, 11:50:17 PM
That's quite tough, and I think you need time management.
But always remember that your job is your priority, and as a teacher, your primary focus should be on your job and your students.  Your teaching duties and obligations must be fulfilled before dedicating time to Bitcoin trading.  Set clear boundaries to avoid any conflicts of interest or distractions during your work hours.

If you really want to trade it might you may consider using automated trading tools or setting up specific alerts to help manage your Bitcoin trades more efficiently.  These tools can monitor the market for you and execute trades based on predefined parameters, reducing the time and effort required on your part.  But remember these tools are just a tool to make you more profit, they work on behalf of you so it depends on your decision how the trading bot will work.

Well, good luck.
450  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wrong Predictions as price keep failing! on: May 23, 2023, 11:57:58 PM
basically no one can predict the price of bitcoin with certainty because market conditions change frequently and anything can happen suddenly. even if there is, maybe that person is a big investor who can control market movements or maybe it's just luck. I think $40k can easily be achieved by bitcoin bitcoin because bitcoin only needs about +$13k of its current price, whereas this year it hasn't even reached half yet.
It's normally fluctuated in a different way, it's either in a bullish trend or in a bearish one which everyone didn't like it.
Yeah, it's unpredictable and no one will know where the Bitcoin price is headed at.  Because IMO, the price was influenced by a wide range of factors including market demand, investor sentiment, regulatory developments, technological advancements, macroeconomic conditions, and geopolitical events.  So there's no way to predict it.

That's why I prefer to hold for a long period of time, just like waiting for a new ATH right after the next halving which I think if you want to accumulate, start it right no before it's too late.

451  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Nunchuk wallet on: May 23, 2023, 11:50:43 PM
Seems this wallet is new to my ears, I never heard of it before.

I went to their Twitter page seems this wallet is good and read different articles regarding them due to my confusion about them.  But I never see that they stored their seed phrase on the cloud, if that is true, this is generally considered risky and not recommended.

IMO, there are many wallets that you'll use that has been proven and tested when it comes to security, if I will use this wallet maybe only a small amount for experience purpose only.
452  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Wallet software on: May 23, 2023, 11:20:14 PM
Can Bitcoin be traced through Cipher Trace
If ain't mistaken, this is a company that offered specializes in blockchain analytics services and cryptocurrency investigation solutions.
The same with Chainalysis, they offer software tools and services that assist businesses, government agencies, and financial institutions in understanding, and tracking cryptocurrency transactions.

It seems OP wanted to know if possible for the wallet software can be tracked the transaction and identify the owner.
I think OP needs to come back and give more clarification about his question.
453  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Other Alternatives to Borrowing Money to Start Trading on: May 23, 2023, 11:08:20 PM
We should never in any way think of borrowing money from people just to satisfy our curiosity of getting into trade when we know that we don't have the fund to sustain usbif we finally lose the money that we are using to trade. Trading is very risky so we should not borrow money from any source and trade since the market so we cam trade when we can try and hustle and make some cash so we can use it to trade the market and make some funds that we can use to to trade bigger in the market without having any problems.
That's the number one potential problem here, it will increase the risk.
When you borrow money to invest or trade, there's still risk with your investments and if your trades don't yield the expected returns, you'll still be liable to repay the borrowed funds, potentially leading to financial strain or even losses.  It seems like you will potentially hit the double edge sword if that happens.

Next will come the psychological pressure, trading with borrowed money can significantly increase the psychological pressure on traders.
Fear and anxiety about repayment obligations may could a barrier to your success and lead to impulsive or irrational trading decisions, which can further increase the potential for losses.

So OP was right, the best practice that you'll do is to buy Bitcoin in a DCA method.
454  Economy / Exchanges / Re: With these acts, do we still believe in Centralized Exchanges? on: May 23, 2023, 12:05:57 AM
Don't even think about giving them your full trust.
That's what exactly I want to tell.
Entrusting them with our fund is quite tough for us to choose which one of them are reliable enough, as Binance, just because they are one of the largest exchange is one of the factors that people give no choice just to trade and make a profit.

The point here is, never store your coin on CEX for a long period of time, after your trading session, withdraw them all.
If you're in a trading session, we should regularly assess the reliability and security of an exchange, including staying updated about its policies, regulatory compliance, and any changes in its operating procedures just like Binance did.
455  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When to buy - A look into the future of BTC !? on: May 22, 2023, 11:33:06 PM
It's been always suggested here always the DCA way of purchasing Bitcoin is the smartest way to handle risk and I tend to agree with the comment above.  Instead of trying to time the market, you invest a fixed amount at regular intervals over time and this will help to manage the risk in short-term price fluctuations.

If you're going to ask me, anytime is worth it to buy as long as we aren't yet hit the all-time high and hold it for a long period of time until such ATH will come.  Or let's say, never sell until your profit wasn't there.
456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mr Beasts house robbed of everything except for bitcoin on: May 22, 2023, 10:47:00 PM
Lol.  I can't imagine how the robber feels knowing he almost got a million dollars, it might be the robber, not just a fast hand as the victim had and transferred all his Bitcoin into another wallet.

Unfortunately, the robber has no knowledge about private keys but I think the time will come Bitcoin becomes popular and well-known all people will know how Bitcoin will work including robbers, and there will be no moron robbers at all.

This is a lesson to learn, never save or store your private on your laptop or anywhere else that is obviously easy to steal.
457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why so many mixers all of a sudden? on: May 21, 2023, 11:55:12 PM
Therefore, we've seen a lot of them coming to the market and offering the best service and even the most and best competitive fee that they can ever offer to each user.
This is very simple to guess, it might be the reason just because the most competitive Bitcoin mixer has been down and seized and now they know that they can compete with other small Bitcoin tumblers.

I'm thinking also this way.
Is it possible that Chipmixer staff or founder still operating a mixing service via a different name as we see there are too many mixing services appearing?
458  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: scalping Bitcoin vs. other assets on: May 21, 2023, 11:22:48 PM
I think this will depend on your preference or knowledge and skills about the asset and the availability of suitable opportunities.
Another factor also is the platform that you've been choosing and how reliable it is.

For Bitcoin, as I said if you have a good knowledge of it then, there's an opportunity to make a potential profit by scalping since due to its volatility, Bitcoin can deliver quick profits if the scalping strategy is executed effectively, that's the pros on it.
However, the cons would be the volatility of Bitcoin can work against scalpers, as sudden price reversals may lead to significant losses if not managed properly.

That's why many people prefer Bitcoin investment for the long term, not the short term, and purchase it by using the DCA method which is a nice move.
459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exciting New App for Bitcoin - Seeking Honest Reviews! on: May 17, 2023, 11:42:04 PM
The reason why I avoid downloading unpopular apps is just because of the security, it's very vulnerable to us especially crypto users who have a hot wallet on our mobile gadgets.  In cases like this, I prefer to use a website to read information rather than downloading an unknown app.

I tend to agree above, you need to prove to us here the legitimacy of your app.  I'm not accusing any fraudulent action but of course, doubt will always be on that side.

By the way, that's a good initiative on spreading awareness, all you've to do now is to show the legitimacy of the app.
460  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Overcoming my fear of bitcoin and online businesses on: May 17, 2023, 11:26:32 PM
Truly as you have noted, no one was born with the knowledge of bitcoin, everybody acquired it. When you have certified yourself that it is a genuine business and not a scam, you then need to develop a passion and commitment for trading bitcoin, without fear, to diligently learn it very well, in order to minimize loses and maximize profits.
That's good to hear, the willingness will push you to be knowledgeable enough on Bitcoin stuff.
If you're interested in trading Bitcoin and exploring other online investments, take the initiative to educate yourself.  You can start by researching reputable sources that provide information on trading strategies (dropped below), risk management, and market analysis.  Consider joining online forums or communities dedicated to cryptocurrency trading, where you can learn from experienced traders, because IMO, learning takes time and practice, so be patient and persistent.
