442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which gambling sites have 0% house edge? on: October 18, 2016, 10:34:44 PM
There is no gambling website with a 0% house edge because its something that they need to exist and stay existing.
A gambling website is not cheap, you have to understand that..

You are fully right about this, there are no gambling websites with an 0 percent house edge because they than simply would never make profit or money to build up their empire.

Right about that, I think that they would not even can than keep the work they have to do up, they have to pay people to make things and stay it under the control..
Without the house edge a lot of casino would disappear.
I think what the site says that they have a house edge of 0? I saw a gambling site that promote their sites in an extreme way, maybe it's part of their advertising, they said that the house edge profiles on them is zero
is it they lie?
I dont know which gambling site u r talking about. But, if it is BitcoinBetting.website, then it is definitely not a lie. It is pretty easy to calculate their house edge using the following formula...

House Edge in % = ((1 - (Bet Multiplier / No. of Options)) * 100)

Therefore, House Edge of BitcoinBetting.website = ((1 - (16 / 16)) * 100) = 0%

What do you mean? It's provably fair.
On what ground? A game does not become provably fair because u claim it to be so...
444  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: [BitcoinBetting.website] Free 25% Bonus in Happy Hour for Everyone! on: October 18, 2016, 10:13:14 PM

The house edge is 0%. You give 25% bonus Huh

The house edge of this site is 50%. This has been explained many times by cjmoles now. You must be an idiot to actually play here.

The payout (for a 1% HE) should be: 0.99/(1/16) = 15.84x - not 8x.

On June 7, 2016, i.e. when NLNico made this statement, the payout was 8x. That is why the house edge was 50% then. Please read the last sentence of what u have quoted for reference. It clearly says 15.84x - not 8x.

Now the return is 16x return and using the formula provided by NLNico, u may easily calculate the house edge to be 0% now. 1/(1/16) = 16x

445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why it was completely irresponsible not to increase block size limit on: October 17, 2016, 09:17:34 PM
@Oliver Increasing block size is no one's responsibility. Bitcoin XT, Classic, Unlimited etc are readily available in market with the promise to increase block size. But, market chose to stick with Bitcoin Core's 1mb limit.
446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NetBet Becomes the UK's First Licensed Gambling Site To Accept Bitcoin on: October 17, 2016, 09:13:27 PM
Bet365 also accepts bitcoin as a mode of payment for a long time and bet365 is also a United Kingdom based gambling company so how can they claim to be the first licensed gambling site.It is good too see many sites accepting bitcoin as i dont want to use my credit card for gambling

I am pretty sure they do not accept bitcoin, I am a user of Bet365 and have not seen this option unless I am missing something, can you provide more information on where you see this in Bet365?

Some people will post just anything for sig payment. Sig payment does not require factual verification. Smiley

448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / NetBet Becomes the UK's First Licensed Gambling Site To Accept Bitcoin on: October 17, 2016, 05:37:01 PM
Quote
We're excited to announce a major new step for BitPay and bitcoin payments in Europe. This week NetBet became the first UK-licensed gambling merchant to begin accepting bitcoin for bets in its online sports betting platform and casino.

NetBet is a leading gambling operator in the United Kingdom. They decided to start accepting bitcoin to reach the growing digital currency user base in the UK (the United States and other restricted countries are not included). Since bitcoin is new to the regulated gambling industry in Europe, we've worked closely with NetBet to ensure that the addition of this new payment method meets their existing UK Gambling Commission regulatory requirements.

NetBet customers will now have the option to use bitcoin to load their online account funds in seconds. This bitcoin checkout option will allow more NetBet users to get back to playing and placing bets with the peace of mind that their transactions won't expose them to the risk of online payment fraud.

We look forward to bringing bitcoin payment processing to more licensed online gaming merchants. If you are a licensed gambling business, email sales@bitpay.com to learn more about accepting bitcoin.

Hi Guys

Oshi have held onto my deposit and winnings for about 10 days now.
Full story and complaint has been submitted here

A few other members have had problems withdrawing as well. They said they have made losses past few months, they might be going out of business. Play with caution. Seems anyone winning a large sum cant cash out.
Never heard of this game, but this issue is now normal in many new site wallet based games. This is why I prefer blockchain based games where no site wallet is required. Each bet and winning happens directly on the blockchain.

453  Economy / Securities / Re: Will you invest in BitcoinBetting.website bankroll? on: October 16, 2016, 07:34:56 PM
It is an on-chain game and 0.0002 BTC is used in mining fee.
No, it's a "transaction processing fee". Look at Bet #530 or any other bet that lost.

The bet amount is 0.0006BTC, and the transaction that was given is 981f3689d2ef7e8f477948ea17287eb90472ab189d3c803cb05478b076a3bb64

There are 2 outputs - one of 0.0008BTC, and one of 0.008BTC. It would seem logical to assume that the 0.0008BTC was the bet, right? Why would they need to pay the miners fee if the bet lost? Actual 12x payout for this example btw, not the 16x they advertise.

Your assumption that mining fee is not required for a lost bet is incorrect. Let us see how in your example...

First this address was created - https://blockchain.info/address/1J9uBy5ba1pqtXfYfxzzAxK74qUK1sAfo1

User sent the Tx to this address - https://blockchain.info/tx/981f3689d2ef7e8f477948ea17287eb90472ab189d3c803cb05478b076a3bb64 (User paid the mining fee of 0.000117 BTC)

This address forwarded the fee to the hot wallet - https://blockchain.info/tx/156a3a82fd231097ea41955f8e5f9c122c055f392179507209ba6404de96f927 (House paid the mining fee of 0.0001 BTC)

So, just to accept a lost bet, house already paid 0.0001 BTC. Now remains another 0.0001 BTC from the Tx processing fee of 0.0002 BTC they mentioned in their FAQ.

Whenever, a winning bet is paid, all these small bets are accumulated and paid from the hot wallet. This increases the Tx size and hence the mining fee required for quick confirmation. So, let us have a look at the latest winning bet right now, i.e. Bet #537.

Wining Tx: https://blockchain.info/tx/0e6af2f890bac066d349c2b56fff45aa62ddac0fd8b2a5706e5d5212ea5295d9

Tx fee: 0.0002 BTC

For this, bet 0.0001 BTC was already with the house from the deposit of the winner of Bet #537. But, who'll pay the rest of 0.0001 BTC? That is taken from the loser of Bet #530. That is how it is compensated.

This is why I said 0.0002 BTC is used in mining fee. I hope it makes sense now.

I have got very less bitcoin , please feel free to reach out to me if you want to have some from me . I have around $25 usd worth bitcoins . I understand the demand in bitcoins due to the recent connection of bitcoins in mainstream Yahoo and TED are a few examples of which .
Stay away from this trade. It is a fishy one. U'll most likely lose whatever u have.
455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Someone converted 0.0698 BTC to 1.1168 BTC on BitcoinBetting.website !!! on: October 16, 2016, 07:04:19 PM
This is a pretty cool idea, I have never tried these games, might give it a quick shot and see how it goes.
Try to bet on multiple options in the same block to lower your odds.
yes you can do it i have tried this game several times and do 8 bet of 0.0005 in the same block which make the odds 50:50 if i won my bet will get doubled not x16 but x2 , as i do bet 8 times.
Yes. Correct. Winning multiplier is directly proportional to the odds.

this is quiet fun game , playing with the blockchain Cheesy , unfortunately i haven't get a single winning here.
It is all about strategy to take advantage of the 0% house edge.

This site is getting some serious wagers considering the size of the bankroll Smiley

They have the lowest house edge in the dice game arena and a very cool site.

Is 0.5% the lowest in dice industry? Shocked

459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 16x win on BitcoinBetting.website with 0% House Edge! on: October 16, 2016, 03:37:40 PM
Take bitcoinbetting.website as an example. Actually, this is one of the gambling site with the lowest rate to win. You have to win once before reaching your 16th bet to win some bits.
www.bitcoinbetting.website allows u to place bet on as many options as u want in each block. If u place bet on only one option, then your odds are high. But, if u place bets on 8 options in a block, then your chance of win is pretty high.

The dashboard merely shows each bet in a row and hence it appears that the rate of loss is high. U never know whether the same person is betting on multiple options in a single block and winning one.

At the end of the day, it is all about strategy to take advantage of the 0% house edge.
460  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you use multiple Bitcoin Wallets to store your Bitcoins? on: October 16, 2016, 01:51:38 PM
making a secure bitcoin wallet which is always offline and stays that way is not really hard, and i am talking from 2 years of experience with having only one bitcoin wallet on an offline linux system.
That means u dont use your bitcoin. For those who use bitcoin regularly, needs to wallet... one online and one offline.
