441  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to self exclude from anonymous gambling sites on: December 24, 2023, 08:11:23 PM
Just deposit your coins into your hardware wallet and you'll be too lazy to withdraw them. That's for real and that's been effective to me as I don't want to withdraw my coins in my HW whether just to sell, trade or even gamble.

Because that's going to give some bit of effort in withdrawing it and you have to connect the HW to your computer and do the necessary process. I think this is way better than staking to a wallet.

The latter is just the same as putting your money in the bank through time deposit.
Yeah!  This is indeed a normal method to save a little and force yourself to make it a little more difficult for yourself to access your money by storing money in a separate cold wallet.
Then it becomes necessary to connect some devices, cold wallets to a computer or even a mobile phone, which has been possible for quite some time.  At the same time, when you think that you need to take out this cold wallet, connect it, mess around, waste extra time, you immediately become too lazy to do it.  And your money is saved.  In any case, you don’t start using them quickly, quickly for gambling in crypto casinos.
And this is a correct comparison, that it is to some extent like another trip to the bank, which also often takes up a lot of your time.
By the way, I think that many cryptocurrency lovers save their cryptocurrencies this way.
Yes, many of us do save through keeping it on our hardware wallets because we think that it is necessary and at the same time, we just simply feel lazy if there's a need to deposit it to a casino.

So any amount that goes to your HW then consider it as there forever and you're not going to touch it to any use until you have to and you desperately not lazy anymore.  Grin

There is no need for any trick in doing this. We only need to be savvy with our money.
442  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You only got what you deserve on: December 24, 2023, 06:56:11 PM
That's true and those people that just can't be patient at all are the ones that losses more money. They are preferring what others strategy that works for them but not for own selves.

We've got different journeys if it's about trading and investing on this market. And the crazy part is the comparison of how others are finding the so called gems and make a lot of money from them while someone who's just chill on the market doesn't.

It's also the reason not to look at others portfolio and holdings and how much they are making because you have a different approach towards this market's volatility.

444  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fear of December dump is fading away - for Bitcoin on: December 23, 2023, 10:37:07 PM
Well, the market changes and not all of these patterns are the same whenever there will be a dump and it's timely to see it pump instead because of those factors you've mentioned.

When we are just so close to the halving, you don't expect it to get a lot of dumps but it's the opposite. A nightmare for December to remember, I don't think that people should have that set in mind about this month.

It's just that the market sometimes repeats its action but most of times it doesn't.
445  Economy / Exchanges / Re: PSA: Vulnerability found in OKX iOS app on: December 22, 2023, 01:46:53 PM
I don't use iOS nor OKX. But I think in general if you're into these cexes, it's always been safe to just use their website on browsers than to download the app.

Because with one wrong update from whoever is on the back end or some hackers got it and they have forced all of their users to a single update. It can cost people's money.

Just saying about that but if you're finding it comfortable to use OKX's iOS app or any other exchange's app. Make sure that you always check updates from them.
446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another year is going to end. Bitcoin isn't dead on: December 22, 2023, 11:10:09 AM
We have been seeing the changes and less people or financial institutions calling it dead because there are so much adoption that's been happening on their sectors.

But see to it that whenever the bear market arrives, then this word shall come again and many of them would just love to call it dead because of how they're seeing it rapidly dumping.

People changes so, if we're seeing them changed for now. I wouldn't be surprise if that graph increases again somehow even if there's already a massive adoption.
447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have any one had experiences with banned bank/providers because of gambling? on: December 22, 2023, 05:10:48 AM
solution you can use crypto currency to gamble. when entering the bank the money that enters is money from the crypto exchanger so not money from gambling. so your bank account is safe.
Yeah, that's actually the solution but the thing is. Many of us are using bank to deposit through it for our gambling accounts and then upon withdrawal, the same process goes.

That is also if in your country the rules are very strict.
because usually what is baned is the account of the bookie, not the gambler.
There are countries that have banks that are very strict with their policies and always check and ask their depositors where the money came from. If you answer that it's from gambling, you'd better be careful with your mouth because that's a red flag for them and might not allow you to continue that transaction.
448  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A piece of advise to everyone. on: December 21, 2023, 10:40:46 PM
It applies to everyone. If you've been caught yourself and realized that you're wrong, it's not going to hurt you to apologize with your mistake.

And if someone is wrong, if they don't want to admit their fault, it's on them but it's like this. Always be the better person. Regardless of the arguments whether it's related to crypto, trading, Bitcoin, etc.

Just pay respect to everyone regardless of the ranks.
449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hard Rock to Hire 400 People Ahead of Rockford Casino Opening on: December 21, 2023, 07:57:02 PM

If you enjoy gambling and don't have a steady employment, this is a good place for you. or perhaps you currently hold a job, but consider this Hard Rock opportunity.
With manager pay of over $70,000 and supervisor wages of over $50,000 annually, the compensation package is very alluring. and a starting wage of $18 per hour for certain other positions.

I've got friends working under a casino and they seem to enjoy it. So, yeah, if you are a gambler and you seem to enjoy the casino premises and working there. You may want to consider applying and give it a shot.

Those that sees this as an opportunity shouldn't miss it. And those that likes to be part of the gambling industry, this is one for you. 400 employees are a lot of people that should work for them.

So, having that number is giving a lot of chance for those applicants that they'll get hired.
450  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: STOP! Before you become a prey of a scammer! on: December 21, 2023, 12:09:50 AM
If someone approaches you with any of the apps that you're using and they're a total stranger to you, don't entertain them. Especially, when they already trying to introduce some money making machines. Because with that, that's already one of the signs that they're talking to the wrong person but sadly, they might come up with another victim.

The best that you can do is to block them and they will keep coming back with a new account or numbers. It will never stop once your contacts are already into their database and much worse if they're going to sell that DB to the other scammers. Most likely, it's being sold already and many have taken our contacts so if you are fine with continuous blocking of them, just do it and never give them your time by replying anything to them.

Just don't do give them the opportunity to talk to you and most newbies should do this. Because if you've been aware of their schemes, you're unlikely going to fall for it but this concern is for those newbies so, I hope that all of you that are reading will take care of yourselves and will take note of the tips everyone is giving here.
451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one is fun, watching with bet or without a bet? on: December 20, 2023, 05:52:25 PM
Because when you're too disappointed and you keep on dwelling on it, the results won't even change so the best thing to do is just to move on and take another bet if you want to.

Or, you don't bet at all. That's all you need to know when it regards to this because nothing special will happen whether you rant or not with these bets that have lost already.

Just get used to gambling because this is how it goes. When you can't take that much losses then you shouldn't bet in the first place, don't make it hard for yourself.
452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin ok in Viet Nam? on: December 20, 2023, 04:34:37 AM
There are crypto jobs in Vietnam and crypto companies that are based there like Sky Mavis for their game Axie Infinity.

That means, if they are able to operate there means to say that cryptocurrency in general there is legal and fine. Which also means that Bitcoin is totally okay there.

So, there you go and about the exchanges as suggested those can work for you but wait until a real Vietnamese comes and reply to this thread on how they do the exchange into cash.
453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one is fun, watching with bet or without a bet? on: December 19, 2023, 09:46:15 PM
Just take the losses and move on. There's no need to stay on that feeling when you've lost the bet while watching the game.

While it is to be enjoyed when you watch games and you want to see them win because you'll also win your money. But there's no need for you to stay on that shoe.

Look to the next games, bet again if you want to and from there start your next expectation and tune again to the game.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When do you take out your investment when in profit? on: December 19, 2023, 11:43:46 AM
Just take your profit whenever you think that you're good already. When we think that there can be more profits that is awaiting us, this makes us greedier and the result can be more disappointing when we're like that.

Speaking of my experience, it's best to take profits when you're satisfied. Take out your initial and let your profits on its own. Or take your profits and leave your capital there and let it move until the next bull run comes.

Congratulations if you have made a profit already. Just a reminder to take profit whatever it takes.
455  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to get 1 eth or 1 btc on: December 19, 2023, 04:48:00 AM
Let us get real OP. You really have to go through the old pattern.

Like what everyone suggests is to buy it. What do you need to buy it?

Money.

What do you need to have money? A job or a business. The typical things that we do when we want to buy something or if you have something to sell, you can do that as well and use that money for buying bitcoin or eth.

Or if you want, you can buy an asic miner that will cost you still money then mine BTC.

If you haven't heard of DCA or dollar cost averaging. You can follow that strat until you reach 1 btc or 1 eth through continuous and consistent accumulation or purchase of either btc or eth.
456  Economy / Economics / Re: Overleveraging, cheating, shadow margin, prostitution, crime on: December 18, 2023, 11:19:18 AM
Since your holdings are visible on the blockchain, anyone that knows your internet or wallet address can leverage your holdings against you on the corrupt exchanges for crime, prostitution, or worse.
Yes, it's visible and made public but....

But that doesn't mean that everyone who has their Bitcoins or cryptos can be known. It's all just public addresses and you won't get to know the person behind it until you know him personally and shows you that he owns it.

And for the side of exchanges, that's done through KYC. That's why it's impossible to know someone who's behind that address or wallet unless you actually know the person.
457  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betcoin.ag-🎉Celebrating 10 Years🎁-$25k NFL Promo-🎰#1 Casino-Horse Racing🐎 on: December 18, 2023, 08:20:42 AM

458  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I buy bitcoin ETF now? on: December 18, 2023, 06:19:03 AM
Like the suggestion of everyone instead of buying a Bitcoin ETF, why not just consider of buying an actual Bitcoin that you can hold out of these exchanges?

I'm still confused as to how they work, are they like stocks or bonds?
There's not that much difference on it. It's like that you're buying but not from the crypto exchanges but from the traditional exchanges.

Bitcoin ETFs are exchange-traded funds that track the value of Bitcoin and trade on traditional market exchanges rather than cryptocurrency exchanges. They allow investors to invest in Bitcoin without having to go through the hassle of using a cryptocurrency exchange while providing leverage to its price.
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Secure your crypto wealth by not having it all in crypto on: December 17, 2023, 10:21:33 PM
once you have made enough, secure it, diversify in real estate, gold, etc.
I agree and thanks for the reminder. I've got some plans already and I'll diversify my profits with this coming bull run, maybe some in real estate if I can afford it and will some small business for which I think will work for me.

Everyone who's in here should also know the other investments because with crypto, while we all know that it is here to stay. You may want to diversify and explore into something new.

It's like a back up investment and asset that you may seem to want, gold? Not for me but who knows in the future if many of us from here will get on it because before we can't afford.
460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have a "gambling problem" which you can sometimes control for years? on: December 17, 2023, 08:43:38 PM
I know myself better so there's no gambling problem for me. I have the idea on which state of mind I am when I gamble and that also reflects with the amount of money that I use for my bankrolls.

If you can sometimes control and sometimes not your gambling activities then you clearly have a gambling problem. You're still in the denial stage because you fairly think that you're still in control of it. But no, you're not in control of it and that's just making yourself think that you are in because you still can.

Eventually, you're going to be out of it and you'll have the idea that you can't control it anymore when it becomes too much.
