461  Economy / Gambling / Re: Land base slot vs Online slot RTP on: May 05, 2023, 04:47:37 PM
Since most of us are busy with our everyday lives these days, we choose comfort and convenience, which is why the majority of us now prefer online slots to traditional or physical slots. It saves time because we don't have to drive too far to get to the casino. We can quickly and easily navigate to the casino website of our choice and make a wagering selection. I don't believe that the proportion of land-based slot players is bigger than that of online slot players, but there are still those who prefer to play and enjoy physical casinos because of the experience and they may do so out of comfort. Since there have already been a lot of crimes linked to actual gambling, I believe it is safer to gamble online from the comfort of our homes.
462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling or gaming sites on: May 05, 2023, 04:08:30 PM
Although I am already familiar with other gaming websites and am aware of how they operate, I have never heard of the stated sites. But when it comes to putting money at risk, I feel more at ease playing and betting on reputable gambling sites. I've already been defrauded and ghosted by a gaming site, so I think it's unsafe to entrust them with the funds I have. I believe I won't test out gaming websites again till I have identified reliable and reputable ones. We are powerless to prohibit gaming websites and applications from operating once they have stolen our money. This has frequently occurred, especially when a gaming website is being promoted and hyped.
463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Experienced Winning Bets By Upsets on: May 05, 2023, 03:46:37 PM
Because I have a strong belief in the potential of that athlete, I had previously placed a wager on an underdog. Even though I had heard a lot of predictions that the fighter I had bet on might lose during that time, it was one of the most anticipated boxing events ever, so I took the chance. I didn't place a very large wager because I had some reservations, but to my amazement, it has paid off. I have tried the same thing once more without success. I believe that occasionally taking a bigger risk will be acceptable, but it won't always pan out, and there will also be instances where we must pay attention to the prognoses of sports analysts.
464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting vs fantasy sports on: May 04, 2023, 05:20:27 PM
Both are skill based yet former is considered sheer gambling while latter is not. Fantasy sports have become the norm, while on the other hand if people come to know that you bet on sports you'll be met with eyebrow raise.

^ That's my opinion. What's yours? Do you consider both of them the same or different?

Fantasy sports games are not for me because I am not good at even normal sports bets. Cheesy However, I try fantasy football games for fun sometimes but they don't make much sense to me. Also, I think they have a mixed plot. I aim to create simpler predictions and have some fun while betting. In conclusion, my answer would be sports betting.
Many of us choose sports betting over fantasy sports because of the challenge of choosing which team or player will win. And we have to be able to choose his team. Otherwise, we will lose. But for fantasy sports, it looks like we can manage the game, but I don't know how to bet on fantasy sports.

But both are worth betting on for fun and not to make money because each will have a way to win. And for sports betting, we must have reliable sources that can provide accurate information to analyze in making decisions.

I could see a higher percentage of winning in Sports betting though it is also considered a luck-based game simply because we can make firm decisions on where to bet based on our analytical observation and research regarding the team and their capabilities to win a match. There are also reliable prediction resources that we can find all over the internet which can influence us when it comes to effective betting. I have tried fantasy sports before but I haven't been lucky on it. Well, we all have our comfort betting games but we should always pick our preference based on our interest.
465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ridiculous Bets that disappointed you on: May 04, 2023, 04:56:58 PM
Such a huge multi and only 6 XRP profit, imagine you were doing allin single bet and it hits 200k multi on limbo. Life changing amounts come with incredible lucky shots on gambling, sometimes having straight plans don't help. You have to make some random decisions to get lucky like try hunting 5 mlnx mines with 13 or 12 mines setup one day , IMHO.
^That is what exactly we need, sometimes we need a random decision and let luck will work for us or just close our eyes when placing bet, especially in dice and roulette. But the most game that I am always disappointed in when I lose is the crash game because you don't know when to stop and when you stop, it will become a higher result. That is why gamblers when they have enough funds they place bets using the martingale strategy and when it hit the target they will stop gambling. I think every time we lose that is ridiculous to us.
Playing in a crash is difficult to win unless you can accept that the win is small. When we want a big win, the result is defeat, and if we place a big bet, it will cost us because we lose. And it seems like a luck-based gambling game that often disappoints us because we suffer defeat. But indeed, I agree with you that every time we lose, it's ridiculous for us because we often can't accept that loss. So maybe we should take a short break to forget about the defeat, and when we come back, our minds will be refreshed, and we can play gambling comfortably.

We should learn right from the beginning that losing is already part of gambling and no matter how we avoid it, we can't escape from it especially if it isn't our lucky day. The reason why we feel ridiculously disappointed is because we have set high expectations of gambling results where in we even disregard the fact that we can possibly have losses. If we have the proper mindset and if we know the negative possibilities that might happen, we will be able to easily accept the result in case we won't get lucky. Also, we must know how to control our urge to gamble when we are exceeding or even reaching the borderline that we have set.
466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another side of Sports betting you may not know about on: May 04, 2023, 04:29:06 PM
America, England, Australia and many other countries, it is known that from ancient times the people there have implemented sports betting as a tradition that is often at stake, do not be surprised if in the betting process many negative things happen, for this reason, it's not surprising that we often see sports betting such as: Rugby, WWE, cricket, Boxing, UFC, Golf and many others, being found to violate some of the rules and policies that have been determined in gambling
That is correct, and it is also the reason why sports betting can't simply vanish from the daily life of those people. It's already part of their tradition and culture along several generations, therefore it's not easy to stop it from existing through a brand new created regulation. The negative side of betting on sports isn't enough to forbid it right now, because it's not something new in sports.

There have always been corrupt athletes, coaches, referees and leagues officials who attempted to profit from betting by cheating on the results of the matches for all this time. But why use this excuse only now to prevent people from betting? Isolated cheating attempts have never prevented sports betting from working and being successful with the public.

Gambling has been a part of most European country's culture and traditions and anywhere that gambling exists, cheating and corruption also exist simply because it is their way to make money. New regulation policies might exist each day but stopping people from gambling will always be a big challenge to them. Nowadays, they are also implementing and trying to apply different strategies to stop people from gambling but I don't think their strategies would last because no matter what they do, gamblers will always find ways to bet and gamble.
467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Opportunities as a gateway to Community service on: May 04, 2023, 04:26:04 AM
Sacrificing your hard-earned money for people in need is a humble act of selfishness. Instead of using it to enlarge your assets, you have donated it for the sake of the native tribe in your area. Not everyone can do it even rich people but I know that people like you will still be rewarded in good ways in the future. This is inspiring, I know we are not rich but sharing what we have will open more opportunities for us. I wish I can also do the same thing in the future though it will take time for me to earn enough to do the same thing. Bitcoin has been a gateway for us to make a profit and earn and also an open opportunity for us to share our blessings. Good job, Op.
468  Economy / Economics / Re: Concers About Going in Business with a Friend on: May 03, 2023, 06:58:15 PM
When money is involved, it's hard to collaborate with your friends or family members. Even the closest person to us wouldn't mind breaking our friendship and relationship when greed exists. Yes, there are successful business partners but I don't think this setup would last the long run. There will always be comparisons, pressure, and competition if you are running a business with a friend because we can't disregard personal matters if relationships are involved. It's better to put up a business alone or just partner with a professional person who isn't close to you. Someone who is business minded and could only focus on the success of the business with you.
469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Government's actions against crypto on: May 03, 2023, 06:21:06 PM
The US government and the cryptocurrency market are having a lot of ups and downs, and it seems like they're headed toward a very important conflict. This conflict will determine the fate of many people and companies involved in cryptocurrency. They might have to shut down or move to a different country.

the government just wants to find loopholes to be able to take big profits from cryptocurrency companies so that the government will make regulations that want to harm crypto companies. but I'm sure the management of crypto companies already has a solution for every government action against them and they already know this risk. and incidents like this have often occurred in several large countries such as China. so there's nothing to worry about because everything will be fine.

The government has always been against crypto activities simply because its decentralization can't pursue the regulations that they want towards it. The government are fully aware of how profitable cryptocurrency is and looking for loopholes to attack it has always been their strategy to make money out of crypto companies. Taxation has also been their main goal to regulate over cryptocurrency users. These things have always been the things that users have to bear with because we can't always expect support from the government.
470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: May 03, 2023, 05:08:00 PM
In the majority of cases we will lose as slots are programmed that way,the RTP tells us this but because we see other people hitting that max win in games from the most well known providers,we get to try those games as we think if it happened once or twice will also happen again and we keep having this false hopes which keep us coming back. The reality is that 99.95% of people lose in slot machines consistently and there is only that 0.05% which wins and get those huge payouts that they keep boasting online,in streams and forums like this one.

I personally am losing massively the small money I play,I keep buying the bonus game in Gates of Olympus from Pragmatic Play and this game is "pure evil  Grin" sometimes it keeps you so long in the game and then crushes you while you believe that now you will hit it big.
Therefore, don't feel too confident, especially after you win some money, because that will make you continue the game, and perhaps, you will increase the value of the bet. If that happens, you can experience a loss that can even be greater than the amount of your previous wins. Such is the game of gambling that can make many people experience bigger losses without them realizing it and only regret it after they lose all their money.

If other people can win the slot game, they will get lucky at the right time. Meanwhile, we will never be able to match what they get because everyone's level of luck will be different. So it's better to play enough gambling to stop whenever we want.

All types of bets of any kind can have an addictive effect for someone who is unable to control himself and it is all caused by big wins or small wins that are often obtained even motivated by streamers who broadcast live slot games and get big wins and that person will be affected want to gamble on slot games.
But it's all actually because the mind is motivated by profit and victory which will end up losing if we can't hold it all.
Even if they often lose, it can also make them addicted and come back the next day. They think that tomorrow will be better than today. But they were wrong. This is a gamble, so we won't know if tomorrow will be better.

That's why they need self-control so that they won't be motivated when they watch streamers broadcast slot games live. They can restrain themselves from immediately playing gambling and can still control their feelings to continue to guard themselves so that they are not involved in gambling more deeply.

Oftentimes, we will feel excited and emotionally hyped every time we win in slots believing that if we have won once, we could win again on the following series of bets which is actually a wrong mindset. It is important that we know how to control our emotions even when we are winning or losing because it could be the reason for us to have continuous losses because we can make wrong decisions out on what we feel. We have to be strong enough to control everything and to put limitations when it comes to gambling or else we could have our gambling journey ruined.
We should keep in mind that winning in slots could be based on our luck and as we bet on it, we must always remember that the possibility of losing will always exist. Instead of pressuring ourselves to reach the winning target that we want, we should just set an specific amount of gambling capital that we can only afford to lose and just enjoy the entire game.
471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Questions of the day for gamblers on: May 03, 2023, 04:43:15 PM
If a online casino claims to be a decentralized platform does this mean that their games are fully decentralized too?
Not fully decentralized sometimes some still ask for document information or KYC to complete withdrawals, but even that depends on the casino because as far as I can see most casinos that claim to be fully decentralized don't look fully decentralized, well the same as casinos that support web3 sometimes they don't see it either fully using the web3, just taking advantage of the trend that attracts people to want to play in their casino

What is the most convenient games you play on gambling platforms?
Limbo is also a game that is interesting to me, for some reason, of all the casino games, that's the only game that I often play, the rest is betting football bets on gambling sites, because I often get money from betting on football sports instead of playing casino games, which I play just for fun. just.

There are really a huge number of casinos claiming they're decentralized yet they will ask for KYC verification later on. That's the struggle of most gamblers who seek privacy and anonymity. There are only a few casinos that won't ask for KYC but it's also risky at the same time because some scam casinos are also using this strategy to attract players who don't like KYCs.

I am more into slots though I don't consider myself lucky on it all the time. I often lose but still got lucky on it a couple of times. I also prefer sports betting specifically football as well since I have a huge interest in the said sport and there are also lots of basis and reliable predictions that we could find online which will be too helpful for us to decide on where to bet.
472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Big is the online gambling industry today? on: May 03, 2023, 03:46:21 PM
There are a lot of easy ways to gamble nowadays. Even when you're browsing your social media accounts or watching vlogs, there will always be an existence of gambling promotions and advertisements. No wonder why the number of gamblers these days is increasing massively. The innovation of our technology has a huge impact on gambling. During the old times, people only gamble by chance or if there are gambling events in some areas but these days, even people from rural areas can gamble through their mobile phones without the need to travel or even seek gambling events to bet. The sad part is, people these days aren't fully knowledgeable about the risks of gambling. They gamble because of the influence of different celebrities and bloggers believing that it could be their escape from poverty when in fact, it could also be the reason for them to have their lives ruined if they would deal with it the wrong way. The increasing number of gamblers these days isn't controllable so the only thing that authorities can do is just to spread awareness about the risks of too much gambling.
473  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking for the best tipsters in the world on: May 02, 2023, 05:39:31 PM
Op's request made me fall out of my chair. 80% and 90% winrates? Hilarious. The best tipsters in the world usually have winrates in the range of 55% - 65% which makes sense considering everything.

Anyone claiming higher winrates are lying or the sample size covered is pretty small. Improve your brainpower op!

Expecting high win rate that ranges from 80% to 90% isn't realistic. That's too good t be true and yes, I have heard from a tipster claiming that he has that win rate record which is unreliable. It will be easy to make fake stories regarding their win rate but that should be considered a red flag. They are making such claims to attract investors or people who will purchase their services. You are already in the gambling industry and facing risks so why would you take risk another risk on tipsters if you can do your own research and basis about your gambling journey? Better enjoy gambling on your own than rely on others. You can join a trusted sports betting group or even check on sports betting topics on this forum so you'll have an idea because, to be honest, I don't think there's such thing as the best tipsters in the world.
474  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can we trust 3rd party Slot providers? on: May 02, 2023, 04:55:39 PM
If you're really skepticism with third party slot providers, then you should only gamble on original games which created by the casino.

Casinos which have many selections of original games are Freebitco.in, Stake, Bitsler and Jackbit, just choose the one that make you more comfortable. Although those games will not give you a huge multipliers, but it's still a lucky based games where you only need to click spin.

There are still number of trusted provider games that continuously gain the trust of many players. They are providing fair games which maintain the trust of gamblers. However, we can't deny the fact that suspicious providers exist and they obviously have irregularities when it comes to results. If we notice suspicious occurrences on these provider games, we better switch to casino games than risk them. We still have lots of good choices than risking our funds on untrusted providers. We just have to be skeptical and keen observers when playing.
475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it advisable to invest on Solana? on: April 30, 2023, 02:37:48 PM
Hello buddies, I am considering buying Solana coins and holding for a very long time. I want to know if this is a good idea before forging ahead to buy it.

Thanks for your responses.

It is important to make your own research and study the flow of Solana coin before making an investment. Solana has gained popularity in recent years due to its fast transaction speeds and low fees, which could make it an attractive option to the investors. Never invest if you have not done any research first so that you will not regret it later on. I think would be a good idea to hold BTC, ETH or BNB for a long term.

Solana really has a good potential and it has proven a lot through the years even during the bearish season. It maintained a good spot which is also an indication that it still has a chance of achieving more in the coming market seasons though it has been facing controversies these past few months and FUD regarding it has been all over the crypto platforms. I agree that we still must do research before investing in it so we'll have an assurance of our investment choice.

My question is guys which do you prefer, a steady monthly salary which you know that no matter what, it must come once the month ends or a business/ trading/ any other thing which you can do that you earn base on performance and you have the capacity to earn ten fold of what a civil servants might earn if you are good at it, but there is also a possibility that you may have a bad day in the office which you may even incurred some loss.

Which do you prefer an why.

If you have the ability to do both then don't let go of your civil job because it provides you a stable income. We all know the risk of crypto trading so it's better to have a constant source of income in case worse things would happen. If you are earning a decent ount of profit in trading then you have to allocate a part of your profit into assets so if ever you want to quit from your permanent job in the future, you would still have an income to sustain your needs. You can save up to put up a business or put it in an investment that will provide you with a passive income.
477  Economy / Economics / Re: Food Crisis - Improved, Worsen or still the same in your country (No Change)? on: April 29, 2023, 02:41:01 PM
Our country has moved forward from the pandemic food crisis. We are not having a food crisis due to lack of supply but the main struggle that we are experiencing here is the drastic increase of food prices. From the price of primary goods, spices, and vegetables, the prices are continuously rising each day. I'm not sure if the government is doing something to solve this problem or if they're also taking advantage of it. Poor people are mostly affected by this crisis and if they will not double their jobs, they will be having trouble sustaining their family's needs.
478  Economy / Gambling / Re: A reminder for gamblers to avoid FortuneJack (ongoing lawsuit, 120k usd stolen) on: April 29, 2023, 02:10:34 PM
I feel so bad about how people come out boldly to talk ill about the business of another and from the look of things, it seems you were paid to do or make this post against fortunejack and these were just assumptions by myself and there is no way you should come up with an account with two red trust and expect people to believe the things you say without any prove of evidence and still think so full of yourself.

If you truly want to help people pass a helping information and a very important information like this, then you should also do well to show evidence of the things you've said so far and I'm sorry if this rumor aren't true, I'm sure your account might earn more red trust from this post.
Try to look on what link he had given on OP which is https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5368279.0
So you could see that its been merited by LoyceV which i could say that he had proven out some considerable proof.

Seeing on the link given it was indeed already 2 years ago but it turns out to be still that unresolved? Some users stating that this issue might have that private
settlement or we arent really know that its been resolved already. This is why then it would really be none of our business but its
really that good if this one had been clarified out and closed this case or issue completely but it seems we aren't that going to that point.
This person is bold for creating another thread, he can't say he never got any answer from Fortune Jack team all this while, I guess he is mad still about the loss, at first I thought someone must have paid him to ruin FortuneJack's name but that's not looking like it.

I have checked the other thread that LoyceV merited, and anyone can do the same thing, a merited post can be merited for many reasons, and most times I have seen false claims getting merited, the OP showed proof of the gambling account and that's great to be honest, anyone could have sent that a merit.

But the fact is Fortune Jack is against duplicate Betting, it's on their ToS and I believe that's why they cancel OP's game even when he won, it is invalid because he broke the rules.
Op might have been disappointed or upset about his losses which is normal but to accuse a casino of a lawsuit issue should be followed by evidence and proof to support it. FortuneJack also has the right to restrict suspicious activities that go against its TOS.
About the merit, meriting could be given because of different reasons and I don't think we should come up with a certain conclusion. Anyone could actually merit a topic if it catches their interest so I don't think there's an issue regarding that.

  • Date/year :2022
  • Amount or Figure :4 figures
  • What Game :Dice / mine/crash

I learn that drinking and gambling are the worse combinations, you cannot think properly, and you cannot decide how and when to stop I lose my two-month salary, and I have to pawn my motorcycle so I can sustain our needs it really a very bad idea so when you drink don't gamble and when you are in a gambling session don't drink try not to combine this too, I have a very bad experience, combining these two.

It's hard for me to recall the exact date and amount that I had a huge loss in gambling but as far as I can remember, that brought me a tragic experience and lesson at the same time. I was with my friends that influenced me to gamble during that time and we were also having drinks. They told me that they have been constantly winning and had bought good properties because of gambling so that made me bet my savings which is intended for our house renovation. I believed that I could be as lucky as them. I was under the influence of alcohol so I was careless with my decision. I have lost my savings in an instance that made me feel very upset but I can't blame them because it was my personal decision to bet everything I had. I have learned that we should never risk the funds that aren't allocated for gambling for we might only regret things in the end.
480  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading not a get rich quick on: April 29, 2023, 08:30:51 AM
Trading is not a get rich quick scheme, it's step by step and we ought to understand the market presently. I've gathered much experience as a trader over the years, so possessing the mindset of getting rich over night is absolutely not the aim, but gathered the fact that you're here to achieved your targets in the market. Newbies are the ones that generate the mindset of accumulating wralthyover night in trade, this is mostly caused by greed, watching your profits grow and refused to place withdraw because you think that one trade will give you millions which is totally wrong.

There are people who join crypto trading after hearing success stories. The thing they don't hear is the hard work behind those success stories. There are risks involved in trading and one have to fully understand these risks before investing in cryptocurrency. Every trading can go in both direction i.e. profit or loss and it all depends how consistent you are and strategies you are adopting. Being Newbie is not a criterion that you will face loss but if you don't have any prior experience and you are jumping with huge capital then there are chances that you will face a loss.

One common mistake is that they disregard the risk and due to excitement after hearing about success stories, they invest the money that they can't afford to lose. Success stories about trading should inspire us but that doesn't mean that we should ignore the possible risks of losing. Some people tend to have the wrong mindset toward crypto trading believing that they could have the same fate as others. Trading is a long process of learning and it will never make us rich in an instance.
