Never disagree that. You just dont quote the useful part of my message.
Your post was worthless because the complaint from silverleew1 was not about the OP, but about the discussion in french that JohnUser started and is still keeping up.

9. Discussions in the main boards must be in english. All other language discussions should be posted in the appropriate Local board. [e]
It's time to go home, kiddy. It's time to understand what they meant. This is meta, the french posts in this thread do not belong here. Use english, so everyone can understand you.

Managers should not be sources just because they manage campaigns. Likewise, sources should not have to forfeit their position as one just because they manage campaigns. Coming from a small campaign manager and small source.
If I come across a post I think deserves merit, I will give them some. How I come across that post doesn't matter. I browse the forum for myself, I read posts during campaign payments. Good posts are good posts to me, they are one and the same.

Because he's the hero Bitcointalk deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll hunt him. Because he can take it. Because he's not our Legendary. He's a silent guardian. A watchful protector. A Ludbega.
lol. I was with you until that.

I notice that the merits that this thread announcement got had been removed. Earlier it was about given a lot of members and was one of the threads getting highest number of merits. Is there any new rule regarding this ?
The merits are still there, they just dont show up right now. Probably an overflow error or something like that, due to the high amount of people who have given merit to the OP and were shown there. ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;stats=toptopicsat ; Top-merited topics, all-time - 1211: Merit & new rank requirements by theymos) I would guess that theymos just hid the display so that you can actually find the post. I did look pretty silly.
They were gone once already, and then showed back up. Either it's intentional hiding from theymos or it's due to a bug, eg with a limited space assigned to showing merits, which has been exceeded by the OP.

For instance, the activity points can be awarded to a post that is more than 100 characters etc. In this way, it will be easy to know who does quality posts and the one who doesn't.
Wrong. Length is not a measure of quality. You can say nothing with 1000 characters, and you can say a lot with just a single sentence below 100 characters. A spammer would just strech their posts to the required length and continue doing the same thing.

So there's a little loophole here that would enable someone who has never made 1 quality post in his life to become a Legendary member, if he wrote many nonsense posts and got an activity count up to 780 until last week, and now has a merit of 1000 that will allow him to become a Legendary, still without making any quality posts.
There's a big loophole here that did enable many users that never wrote anything constructive to become legendary. Everyone who got to legendary before the system was introduced go there by time/quantity, not quality. Where is the difference between a legendary with 966 activity and a hero with 966 activity? And before you call this unfair, the legendary rank itself is, since the window is as big and the time you hit it is random.

Just start your charade already, or do you count down in bed too?
"Around 3 seconds to go until you will feel how it is to get hit from a bulldozer."

I did no such thing. I would never taint myself touching your trust page. That's abnormal even to think about.

I'm going to derail this thread (and give it a free bump) to say that I like the way you currently have integrated the coinhive script into BPIP. It's definitely one of the better integrations and more people should utilize the software that way (if they have to utilize it at all). So...way to go, Vod. And good luck finding someone to help you out with this (not me, sorry).

The more you discuss this, the more negs you get, so my suggestion would be, keep it up.

Another case would it be when you are sending unsolicited PMs to people who you suspect to have big amounts of sMerit. Here it should be 100% not allowed. Aggressive begging cant be tolerated.
I dont know if I should post this but I already got a pm like that. What are the consequences for someone doing it? That's a shortcut towards landing on my PM ignore list.

Should the sam rule apply, more seriously, to merit?
Yes, no, and maybe. There are threads where people actively search for recommendations on posts to merit, going there and suggesting posts (even if they are your own) is alright, it's even wanted. I dont see harm in it. Another case would it be when you are sending unsolicited PMs to people who you suspect to have big amounts of sMerit. Here it should be 100% not allowed. Aggressive begging cant be tolerated. When it comes to a post/thread, imo it depends on the content of it. Some threads currently ask for donations, and that's OK. They could ask for merit donations instead of BTC donations, I would find that OK. Some threads have avertisements, and that's Ok, similar situation. This does not apply to all threads/posts alike, I think it's something everyone has to determine for themselve individually. Find your own line. I just came across a post where someone explained a simple idea and then said "if you like my idea, send me merit." There is no negative merit, so an ask like this seems more serious than asking for trust.
An easy way to punish them is not giving them any merit, even if the post would deserve some. wow this Merit topic is on every thread in Meta, someone please start subreddit for it already
15 minutes of fame. In a week, everyone will get used to it and it's business as usual, hacked accounts and banned spammers.

Will they say funny things on my trustpage? Like "A highly non respectable member of a family .his father was in nazi army and his mother was a kkk member" (yes, that's an actual quote from it)? If so, I demand some creativity, shorena has gotten one about f*ing someones sister and not calling the next day, and I get only nazi feedback? That is unfair. I demand same rules for everyone.

It's very interesting to see most of the members praising this so called 'Merit' systems are the users who already got lot of 'Merit's by default. They did NOT have to earn it like all new users will have to now!! I didn't have to do anything to get where I am right now? Man, I wonder what I have been doing the last 5 years then. did a fairy just make you a staff member? was it like the merit system and I missed out? Pretty sure Mitchell was being sarcastic with his answer on that one. The user claimed people like Mitchell didn't earn his rank. I have valid proof TMAN is neither able to detect sarcasm, nor allowed to use it themselves. In fact, I suspect Lauda has restricted TMAN to never use sarcasm, because she is afraid mr T could take away her catnip.
