three-fiddie (3.50 cents)
tree-fiddie

Although the quoted post won't qualify for the contest, thomas kindly suggested Tree-fiddie via above and PM to be a Bitfie amount representing 3.50 cents, of which I've done such in the second post of this thread.

Luckily for me I put the ice cream in the oven and noticed coon tracks in the snow, thus no brain dama... Hey, look! Another one. Dat makes three tis weak.

Am I able to nominate a non-profit to be a recipient?

Bitcoin100 is not a structured organization, ad is owned and run by donors and anyone else wishing to help. So everyone is free to nominate and contribute.

The Road Home accepts Bitcoin donations through a coinbase widget right on their donation page. On their Give link under Make a Donation, they have it split between cash donations on the left and Bitcoin on the right. They provide emergency shelter and run a winter shelter.

Any idea when they added bitcoin donations? I'm also curious as to how they decided on it.

This should answer your question, Rassah: http://www.meetup.com/Utah-Bitcoin-Community/messages/boards/thread/39924902

Yeah, it looks like just after Thanksgiving this year. Does that disqualify them? Or is that recent enough and have an appropriate non-profit mission?

The best I can ascertain is that a fellow bitcoiner, perhaps not a BitcoinTalk user, somehow got The Road Home to accept bitcoins via their website.

Again, this is a slight stretch, but the cause is worthy, thus favoring them to get endowed.

Hey again, I'm actually going to meet up with my friend who runs this organization tomorrow, I'll speak to him about the idea of taking bitcoin, see what his thinks about it. If he's down with it, we'll need to think of what the best way to implement it.

Hello,

I'm the one who is suggesting www.volodalen.asso.fr above. If there are any questions maybe I can answer them.

Thanks,
Bruce

Hi again,

I talked to my friend and he agreed that it would be a good idea. If you guys want to support his org let me know what I can do.

Bruce

ok I've setup him up with a wallet (as well taught him all about the security rules) and we've update the webpage to accept bitcoin, can be seen here:
http://www.volodalen.asso.fr/005aider/aider001.htm

Thanks,
Bruce

I believe it looks fine now, Bruce.

Thanks, bud, but look at the price I had to pay:  Grin

what is the address to send them a registered letter from outside of US? thank you!

The best choice for legal purposes is always to use the company registered address to send notification letters. Do not forgot to authenticate your signature and date in the letter:

By the way, is anyone interested to obtain an Experian credit report of HASHFAST TECHNOLOGIES LLC? I could got one, but it have a cost. A credit report would be good to anyone verify what is the financial situation of the company. You could all participate with a little bit and pool the amount to pay for the report, which in BTC would cost more or 0.04 BTC at the moment.

Ideal address if you're seeking a short term lease: http://www.loopnet.com/Listing/17191132/649-Mission-Street-5th-Floor-San-Francisco-CA/

The federal government paid $11.3 million in taxpayer-funded farm subsidies from 1995 to 2012 to 50 billionaires or businesses in which they have some form of ownership, according to a report released Thursday by the Environmental Working Group, a Washington-based research organization.

($11.3M/50)/7 = $32,857.14285710 (in the spirit of Bitcoin)

Which parts are the yummiest?

I would most definitely stay away from the pin bone area unless, of course, that's your Taster's Choice®.

A bunch of baby goats doing parkour?

What is your obsession with goats?

It fascinates me to see how all their parts work in concert with one another.

Lol what?

Seriously! Some bitcoiners have referred to the bet as a bribe. At the onset, I received a handful of PMs/emails suggesting that I shouldn't post anything at all to secure the win. I opted to post my ass off, calculating ~900 posts. If any one of them contained a lie, I'm sure Josh would have brought it up then, not waiting until January 1, 2014, to start reading ALL my posts penned since November 8th.

I could see how people would see this as a bribe.

The same folks would really be pissed off if they learnt that while at Inside Bitcoins (LV) I told Josh excellent talk and later congratulated him/BFL for filling all the back-orders.

Now to see if he pays up. Assuming Inaba doesn't try to MNW his way out of the bet.

I'm pretty sure Josh will honor the bet, thus no worries. I sure the hell took a lot of heat from my fellow bitcoiners due to this gentlemen's bet.

Yep! This is the last thread.

That depends where you are located.

Hence the CST in the thread's title.

Sorry, I didn't see that.  Tongue

No problem, bud. It was my last thread for the year 2013. My first thread for 2014 is dated 1 second after midnight (CST).
