4782  Local / India / Re: What are the easy ways to store your bitcoins and alt-crypto in a offline mode on: September 11, 2020, 04:26:08 AM
The best option is always to use a hardware wallet but, I prefer using my desktop computer as I do not own large quantity of crypto assets.

As I am only holding Bitcoin I keep them safe in the wasabi wallet which is installed on my desktop computer. I generally do not use it for getting connected to the internet as I prefer my laptop for that. Therefore I consider it to be my cold wallet.

There are still risk involved but I have created a backup of my wallet and if anything happen to my desktop I still can get access to my wallet using the backup phrases.

P.S - If you are planning to store a good amount of multicryptocurrencies for the long run then always use a hardware wallet.
4783  Local / India / Re: What are best practices when trading P2P? on: September 11, 2020, 04:12:54 AM
I am not sure why the bank account got frozen? but, I had used P2P service when cryptocurrency trading was considered illegal by banks. I did not face a single issue back then because my Bank account was with a public sector bank. In my opinion it would be better to avoid the private sector bank to date, they still have those shady policies.

While doing P2P trade I would never put any reason for transactions debiting my account and the same was done by the party crediting the amount in my bank account.

I always did one or two transaction in a month, to date I am following the same process. My transactions were neither big nor small you can consider them to be moderate. I am following it till now.

I did not face any issue till date with these simple techniques, you can also do the same.
4784  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Lorem ipsum for cryptocurrency on: September 10, 2020, 03:59:36 PM
I am seeing this for the first time, never knew there was one for cryptocurrency. I tried generating 1000 words and it worked great. This will be a great asset for those who are in the field of website development. I am sure some developers from themeforest must have used it while creating cryptocurrency based themes.
4785  Other / Meta / Re: Beware of BitcoinTalk.ro on: September 10, 2020, 03:53:24 PM
If this website was meant for phising then they will never reveal their identity. In this case OP was able to contact the real owner hence I do not think they are looking for any trouble. I think they might be planning to launch a local forum or a website on Bitcoin.
4786  Other / Meta / Re: Why doesn't the Bitcointalk forum have a mobile app? on: September 10, 2020, 09:33:02 AM
I think they don't need to release a mobile because you can access the forum by using a mobile built-in browser or use a chrome app.
The forum is very responsive on mobile so there's no need for them to create an app you can access them anytime to any mobile browser without any issue.

And honestly, it was been discussed here many times why not read them first check the link below.

In vertical positive the fonts are very small but you have the option of zoom to view the content. Horizontally it is much better as compared to vertically. I generally use my android phone to access the forum and I always view it horizontally.

If you are a representative of this cryptocurrency project then you should move this thread to Bounties board.

I am sure you will find many more participants there.

When i first watched him in U19 WC, was wondering how on earth he's generating 145-148 kph continuously, considering he was super skinny and not very big guy. So there was fair amount of excitement and hype (for right reasons) when Knight Riders bought him. Good on KKR and BCCI management that they are still backing him and taking care of him. I would like to see him in the Whites in next 2-3 years if his fitness doesn't get in the way.

I read somewhere that his coach asked him to drastically change his bowling action, in order to avoid injury. So I am not sure whether he is still bowling at the 90 mph levels. The same happened to South African bowler Mfuneko Ngam. He had a great start to his international career, but then he faced severe injury problem. Changed his bowling action as a result, and after that he lost his pace and was no longer effective.

One of the biggest problem of a fast blowler is injuries and to avoid injuries they become medium pacer which generally ends the career. Very few fast bowlers have been able to consistently throw balls above 85 mph till the end of their career.

This guys was throwing above 90mph which will surely will result in injuries.
4790  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Downloading into not safe website. on: September 10, 2020, 04:47:04 AM
I do not understand when we have Google play store and iOS store why is there a need to download important apps from the APK website. How much credible these websites may be. adding spyware to APK files takes only few minutes for anyone who knows how to do it?

I have never used such websites and would always recommend others not to do so.

4791  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: {Warning}: Poloniex Phishing Website on: September 10, 2020, 04:32:15 AM
Hey! thanks for the heads up, I have done reporting this URL to Google. I got confused with the way these scammers have set up this URL. I am not sure whether such domain names can be easily purchased or can be created but this is really interesting way of scamming people.
4792  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware of Phishing Emails like this on: September 10, 2020, 04:16:09 AM
Sometimes i dont open messages coming from unknown sources cause im sure its a kind of phishing. Everyone who recieves this kinds of emails should be aware of thier account might be compromised.

Well! that is the best way to prevent such scams but incase if you open any email then you can follow the process shown in this small guide to protect yourself.

I have seen many mails that are actually an exact replica of mails being sent by big exchanges. Therefore always check the senders email address first before following any instruction.
4793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be careful when you play games with your coins! on: September 10, 2020, 04:03:03 AM
Most of us know the rules still we tend to ignore them thinking our luck or strategy will work this time. Unfortunately, it never works when you need it most. Gambling can be only good when played with discipline and a strategy. Things can go quickly wrong if we do not follow the rules set by ourselves. Therefore always be careful and playsafe.
4794  Other / Archival / Re: Crash game, arbitrage algorithm on: September 10, 2020, 03:56:48 AM
Why have you guys created three threads about the same platform on this board? You are basically spamming the board and it shows your desperation to get new user from this forum.

Only scammers will have such desperation and If you are not one then delete one thread.
4795  Economy / Gambling / Re: 2v.com crash games, predictive answers, technical services on: September 10, 2020, 03:49:54 AM
Hello, @shaw1019 welcome to the gambling section.

I did not find any information on your website, just a registration page, and a login page. I expected a beautifully designed home page with relevant information about games and important links like terms and condition, privacy and others.

Confused!! with what you were trying to create? did not feel confident enough to register.

4798  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to check whether your email address has been compromised? on: September 09, 2020, 06:03:30 AM
First website:

Have i been pwned?
Are you safe if you enter your email address and check on that site?

I guess you will be not. It is a trap. Instead showing your email address publicly, on the forum and anywhere else, you enter it and check on that site. Are you sure that they won't keep your email address on their database and will see it to other companies?

Please make sure that:
  • Don't publicly show your email address.
  • For important accounts, allocate specific emails for those accounts and don't use them for other purposes on other platforms.
  • Don't self-breach your email address by arbitrarily enter your email addresses and check on any site (like what you supposed)

Well! If you are talking about net safety of these websites then you can check their terms and conditions and their privacy policy. I am confident that they are not the ones who compromise your email address as their business model is based on finding who breached?

Plus why will they jeopardize their reputation?
4799  Other / Off-topic / How to check whether your email address has been compromised? on: September 09, 2020, 05:29:04 AM
Recently I started receiving a lot of spam and scam emails into one of my email address which I generally use for my freelance work.

I wanted to know why there was a sudden bombing of such emails into my address wherein I only use it to login to specify website for my work and receive emails from my clients.

I knew something was not correct and I was determined to find out what was wrong? So, I took the help of Google and did some search using specific keywords and found two websites.

If you are also facing the same problem like me then you can use these two websites to find out whether your email address has been compromised

First website:

Have i been pwned?

I entered my email address and found out that data breach occurred from these platforms.

To make sure that the information provided by the first website was correct. I did a double-check by visiting the second website.

Second website:

What is my IP address?

When I entered my email address and checked for breach I found out a similar result.

Although these websites can help you to determine to a certain extent what may have gone wrong with your email address there no conclusive evidence that the spam mails that you are receiving are because of the breach.

It is advised not to open and report mails as spams if you are not aware about the senders.

What to do if your email is compromised?

If your are using a mail service provider like gmail you can increase the spam filteration by clicking on the gearicon>>settings>>Filter and Block Address.

Change your password.

Or

Create a new email address.

P.S - This topic is for educational purpose and I am not promoting these platforms.

Payments were sent to everyone who qualified. Those who didn't get paid missed a step and will not be able to do that step now and be paid.

Payment recieved. Thanks
