481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Chat GTP destroy poker on-line gambling??? on: April 29, 2023, 06:50:19 AM
People will try to use AI for making profits, in gambling, or some other ways. I think some people are already deep into that... it's a question is it working for them or not? When it comes to poker, AI can't destroy it, and I am sure it will not work perfectly all the time... just like I have lucky and unlucky days, AI will have them too. And can you imagine a table with all AI players? In the end, someone needs to lose on that table... poker and cards can be crazy sometimes, I am not sure that AI is aware of that.
This is not worth risking big money and account with experiments like this.
I think that casinos would notice something strange is happening and that human is not playing this poker game, maybe even ban use of this, but AI bot would not mean more profit for player.
They can only learn and repeat what was done before and it is not easy to repeat that in poker games, with different players and stakes.

Its just that some gamblers do not know that many casinos are so smart that they have not detectors and if they find out that they have a particular customer that seems to be using not to book games and bet on there platform, they wouldn't waste time to block the account and make sure that the gamblers do not have access to the account because it break there terms and conditions.
Any person that want to use AI to bet on casino should do that on their own peril because many gambling casinos frown against the use of AI or bot on their platform.

Any suspicious act of gamblers could be tracked by casinos so there's no way Chat GPT could destroy any casino games, especially poker. It's fine to rely on it sometimes in case we need help and guidance because of confusion but we should always use it as a tool to abuse the casino. The casino has the right and prerogative to ban or restrict abusive players anytime. It is better to enjoy the game using our own skills and strategy so we won't face the consequences in the future.
482  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't claim to be an investor if it's still like this on: April 28, 2023, 04:51:11 PM
Some investors usually disregard the risk of crypto investment and only see it as a shortcut to getting rich which is obviously a wrong mindset. They tend to lose patience when they see the shaky condition of the market. However, most of us still learn from that mistake. There were opportunities of making huge profits that we might miss if won't have patience. Considering and dealing with the risks is too important if we want to make a good profit in the future. That will be possible if we already know how the crypto market works.
483  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which are best stake alternatives on: April 28, 2023, 04:24:27 PM
Which are best stake alternatives
I search for good casinos with similar original games

CloudBet, Lucky Block, Bovada, BitStarz, JooCasino, LuckyTiger, LasAtlantis, Mirax Casino

Aside from Cloudbet, All these casino that you suggests is unknown here. Bovada has a region restrictions while BitStarz has a bad reputation here scamming user here last 2019. You can check Bitstarz reputation on this page https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=307265 to see their long history of scamming.

Stake is one of the biggest brand here in the forum in terms of crypto casino. Suggesting a bunch of mediocre to scammer casino to newbie is the worst idea you can think.

The scammy options is better not to even mention them. Posting contributes to search algos and that is something that should not help much future users of the system. But experiences of different people may be different, I mean, you can run a scam for a while but you probably cannot fool everyone forever and get away with it. There has to be something missing in the information.

The loss of reputation will surely affect their trust rate in the long run and the experiences of gamblers could testify about their legitimacy. There are people who have been playing in a scam site and still didn't experience any trouble but there are also players who had their worst experience in a certain gambling platform. I think it will be better if we will not risk too much on casinos with scam accusations or better choose reputable casinos over them. Casinos with good backgrounds can be a stake alternative. There are casinos that offer too good to be true profit but you have to be careful all the time.
484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you blame someone for your gambling losses? on: April 28, 2023, 03:20:42 PM
I think they're just trying to save themselves from huge losses but what they did have brought them into a worse situation. The truth will always prevail no matter how we cover up our mistakes. Blaming someone else isn't a good idea and it couldn't even save us from our huge losses. We are only dragging ourselves to bad situations more. It will be better to control ourselves or just accept losses in case we lose our funds since that's a part of gambling. We can't blame others if we are the ones who are making wrong decisions.
485  Economy / Economics / Re: The Biggest Financial Regrets on: April 27, 2023, 05:40:00 PM
We all have frustrations and regrets for letting some opportunities pass without grabbing them while we're younger but that should not be a reason for us to remain regretful for the rest of our lives. Opportunities are still around and it's not even late for us to grind and invest in profitable projects that we know or even put up a business that we want. Some successful people have reached their dreams when they got older so there's still time for us to grind hard and grab more opportunities. We might regret not grabbing chances before but our time will still come.
486  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing Addiction. on: April 27, 2023, 05:18:07 PM
Any form of addiction could have a negative effect in our lives but as for me, getting addicted to investing is actually having the urge to prepare for our future in terms of finances. Compared to gambling addiction, being into investment is actually a good habit though it still has a risk but if we are investing in the right and potential projects, our sacrifices will still be worth it in the future.
Investing is actually beneficial since we could gain a good profit when the right time comes but we should still know our limits and just invest the funds that we could only afford to lose.
487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The psychology of betting..... on: April 27, 2023, 04:57:51 PM
What patterns do you see and how much do you believe in it?
I don't know but not seeing any patterns tbh and don't believe such a thing but maybe on more technical perspective of others they see it. If it's happening in milliseconds then that maybe not for human mind to see, or maybe not for me. So, it's best if we bet on sports rather than computer-based gambling.

I tried applying different patterns and strategies based on the success stories and testimonies of other gamblers but what I have learned is that the same fate doesn't always happen for everyone. We might believe in myths, mantras, and techniques but the result is usually luck based. Sports betting might be less risky since we can have a basis on where to bet or rely on trusted predictions compared to computer-based games but we should not disregard the fact that any form of gambling has risks of losing. We can actually create our own strategy but no technique is consistently reliable.
488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: April 27, 2023, 04:20:44 PM
I've also heard from a local news last month about a gambling addict who killed his own mother just because she refused to give him money to gamble. That son was too heartless and was eaten by his urge to gamble. We can't blame gambling alone for being addictive because the fault is already on gamblers. Gambling should be enjoyed and it shouldn't be a reason for us to commit crimes. If gambling is already giving us reasons to make mistakes or even commit a sin then it's time for us to quit.
As much as possible, we should seek professional help in the early stage of gambling addiction.
489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never Expect Consistent Winnings From Gambling - A Lesson I Learnt. on: April 27, 2023, 03:54:28 PM
Gambling is not a business, and neither should you ever take it as a day job, in reference to this thread - it is likely impossible to make a consistent winning from gambling, there are the day you win, even much more than $100, and there are days you will lose it all, to make a consistent $100 or more every day in gambling is a mirage, wishful thinking that might never happen.

Feel free to chip in your contribution.
Making gambling a full-time job is moving consciously toward the pathway of poverty and frustration. There are no guarantees that you will win constantly, so one cannot depend on it for survival. I have never seen any full-time gambler that is financially stable because they are not sure of their income. It is better to take a low-paying job than to depend on income from gambling.

The experience of your friend is because of his level of understanding. Before he won the bets, he aspires to live a life of luxury. He was just exhibiting his thoughts and aspiration. If he was investment minded, he would have invested his win in a profitable business. He needs to get another job, apologies to his friends and learn to be humble. He has not failed, he just went through a phase that has taught him some good lessons. I hope he has learned some good lessons.

Money can change people's mindsets and attitudes, especially in gambling. That friend of yours have thought that he can always get lucky in gambling and relied on it to the extent of leaving his full time job. He didn't value the money that he got from his gambling winnings because it isn't really his hard-earned money.
Truly, regrets and lessons come last because when we are experiencing comfort, we enjoy and disregard our future needs which is a wrong attitude. Leaving a job for gambling will never be a wise decision. We can't always rely on gambling or even expect continuous winnings. We all want to win and be lucky but we should see it the right way or as much as possible, consider gambling as a source of entertainment.
490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid a scam project? on: April 26, 2023, 05:45:08 PM
check everything about the project, but even so, you still can't guarantee 100% that the project isn't a scam project, because it's very difficult to determine whether the project is a scam or not, my advice is don't use all your savings just for crypto projects

Nowadays, even scam projects are innovating. They develop their strategies so they would look trusted and legit that even after doing a series of research, lots of victims still fall for their trap. However, knowing everything about a project will still be a big help for us to notice their red flags. We should check the team behind them, the developers, the purpose of the project, and the reviews and insights of people about it. If you are doubtful of a certain project then don't risk high funds on it.
491  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any point to start trading with 20$? on: April 26, 2023, 05:14:14 PM
20$ is good enough if you're just starting your trading journey. You can use it if you want to gain knowledge through your experience in actual trading but if you're skilled enough to trade then you should have a higher capital because it will take time for you to reach your target goal with just small funds. For knowledgeable and wise traders, the higher the capital the higher the profit but we should still consider the risk. But for beginners, it will be better to start with small funds as you are just trying to deal with the volatility of the market.
492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: April 26, 2023, 04:48:26 PM
It's not that Ryan will be affected or has been affected by this big lost, for sure he can make a comeback again as he have said in the post fight interview. And he has give us a hint that he might go up in weight class as obviously he looks drain at 136 lbs + rehydration clause of 10 pounds in fight night. Might take some time for him to recovery, but he promise that he will be back. Rematch with Tank is out of the picture as 135 lbs.

Is a rematch still possible? I thought there was a clause or something that stated that no rematch would happen if Davis wins.

Yes, you're right. That specific rematch clause was just a one-sided clause because that can only be activated if Gervonta Davis gets defeated versus Ryan Garcia, which as we all know didn't happen, so that might not be possible as for now. But in the coming years, whether if it's at 135 or 140, I think it is possible if fate permits to have these two meet again in one same ring.

The possibility of seeing them again is not far. Garcia just needs to continue working with his skills, enhancing everything to be more ready
when the time comes and opportunity is open to fight back with Davis.

He's still young and he can use that as an advantage to keep doing what he thinks is best for his career, the lost to Davis can serve as learning process.

He needs to analyze and practice whatever he thinks he is still missing. That way, he will be able to adjust and improve.

It could be possible but it will take a long time. What happened should be a motivation for Ryan Garcia to improve more. He still has a lot to go through in case he would be facing huge boxers in the future. It will be nice to see them in the same ring again but it will be more exciting if Ryan would prepare well so he could manage to counter the strength of Tank Davis. I agree that Ryan is still young and still has a lot to develop in time. Davis is undeniably undefeated and he always prepares well to give his best shot in the ring. Ryan has a huge potential to beat huge boxers in the future if he will be eager to develop his stamina more.
493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you stay updated on: April 26, 2023, 04:27:53 PM
Try reading sports articles from reliable sources if you want to be updated about the latest upcoming matches. Also, you can join sports groups on different social media platforms to get sports bettors' ideas. I'm also into sports betting but I only get ideas and updates on this forum. Opinions and ideas of gamblers here as for me are already reliable. You can also do background checking so you'll have a hint on where to bet. UFC and boxing are interesting sports, but if you're into them, it doesn't mean you have to bet on all the sports events and matches.
494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: April 26, 2023, 04:08:30 PM
Nobody can guarantee a steady income from a game of chance. These two things don't work together. One day you win a lot of money, then you'll keep losing for 3 days straight. Even good gamblers win about 60% of the time, so you want to be better than professionals by earning $100 each day.
A professional gambler cannot guarantee that he will only profit every day. I have been sports betting on several gambling sites for two years but till date I have not won three matches in a row. If I make a profit of $50 one day, I lose $100 dollars the next day. Now my balance in betting and casinosites is almost zero. Over the past few days I have lost several matches with the bet so the balance is almost gone.
So no one can give a sure guarantee that you will get a fixed profit every day on an uncertain gambling sites.
The fact that sports betting is not totally based on luck, makes it clear that it is not possible to get a certain amount of money every day from gambling. If you can't win a certain amount in sports betting and reach a target that you may have for a week or a month, you will probably not be able to reach a specific target from gambling games.

It is better if one just gambles with a very limited amount and doesn't set a specific target for themselves for profits since gambling is not a source of income and that is simply not possible as casinos are businesses.

Sports betting has an edge compared to provably fair games because you can do a background check and seek help from reliable speculators yet there's still no 100% guarantee that you'll win on it every day. Gambling will always be risky and it's something that we can't avoid so we can't make a sure profit on it with a certain amount daily. There should always be limits and discipline in gambling and setting a target daily profit might only lead you to chase your losses so if you can find other ways to make a passive income just choose it over gambling.
495  Economy / Economics / Re: marry rich: marry fiat rich or crypto rich, which is better? on: April 25, 2023, 05:20:50 PM
Yes it's true that there are large number of girls who just wait for the wealthy boy to marry them and didn't accept the proposal of poor man, this is not good thing but its true and we cannot ignore this truth. I think that whatever you have many be its fiat or bitcoin but you have something which makes you rich so everyone's focus is on money, they don't care about the source.

So simple is that money attracts others towards one's self therefore individuals give value to wealthy people more than those who don't have any large sum of money. I think there should not be any comparison between rich and poor because all individuals are equal just focus on behavior and marry that person who has good behavior.

As for me, independent women will not get attracted to a man's financial status because they can make a living on their own. Those who seek rich men to marry are dependent women and those who are relying their success on a rich man. It is practical because it could change a woman's life but with that purpose, I don't think the marriage will have a strong foundation.
Of course, we all want to get rich but it will be more fulfilling if we'll reach success through hard work and not by relying on someone else' pocket. Marriage is a hard thing to establish because in order for it to last, it should be filled with things that no amount of money can buy. Financial status isn't the only basis for picking the right man to spend your life with.
496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I am only trying to stay safe by gambling less on: April 25, 2023, 04:34:53 PM
Your explanations are rebuttals are actually on point. It's just that they are close-minded and well-focused on their belief. Remember that you can't always please people with what is right especially if they are filled with the wrong mindset and understanding of the difference between gambling and cryptocurrency investing. There's no sense arguing with them but the good thing is you have done your part in enlightening them about the difference between the risks of these two.
It is true that the risks of crypto investment are more manageable compared to gambling. As long as you are fully equipped with knowledge about dealing with the market's volatility, you're able to handle its risk compared to gambling that the result usually relies on a person's luck and there's no guarantee of good profit in the future or worse, you might also lose all your funds in just a single click.
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment involves being realistic, doesn't it ? on: April 23, 2023, 04:00:48 PM
be realistic and also have to get used to market conditions, because those who are used to it, will know the market conditions when it goes up and down, then they will sell when it goes up and buy it back when it goes down, or do the investments not do that and always hold their assets continuously, or is it also an investment even though you do it repeatedly, because the goal of investing is to make a profit.

Dealing with the market condition is quite hard but we have to face it especially if our goal is to make a profit in the long run. Temptations to sell during bear season or every time the prices drop down will always exist but we should focus on our goal. If we are into holding then we should not fear everytime the prices drop because it is really a part of the cycle. Investing in crypto needs focus and emotional control.
498  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading is perfect work for jobless peoples on: April 23, 2023, 03:13:13 PM

It can only be perfect when the person already has experience for a year or more. And even so, day trading can still disappoint him when the market didn't go his way. The crypto market is not as friendly as having a bull run all the time, it has its bear market which is very unpredictable.

Nowadays you can see people saying the bear market is over but you will be surprised that after a week the price will plunge to $23k. (Just my example of an unpredictable market) Becoming a day trader is not easy so I hope they won't leave their job and focus on day trading.
Day trading may be promising and profitable but not all day traders are meant to succeed. Some are just good at the beginning, but eventually lost their enthusiasm once they incur losses and end up quitting. The reason why it can’t be reliable and sustainable as a single source of income. So if you plan to be a day trader, never leave your job and think that trading will give you everything. Even successful traders do not rely on it solely, so how much more for beginner day traders.

We shouldn't disregard the fact that day trading is too risky so we can't consider it as a main source of income though it is undeniably profitable but it requires knowledge and full understanding. We can have it as a side job but not the only job that we should have unless we are well experienced and we're able to deal with the risks of the market's volatility. Having is formal job while doing it is still the smartest way to earn.
499  Economy / Economics / Re: SPENDING MORE THAN YOU EARN on: April 22, 2023, 04:02:02 PM
It is always advised that we should spend based on our earnings and always consider saving before buying our wants. It takes a lot of self-control to do it but we should have the eagerness to discipline ourselves or else, we will end up having financial trouble in the future. We should focus on saving over following our urge to buy unnecessary things if we want to see good results. We should value our hard-earned money by handling our finances wisely because we don't know what could happen in the coming days or even years.
500  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it best to have a personal trading strategy? on: April 22, 2023, 03:43:28 PM
I believe having a personal strategy will be best and effective because we can't always apply strategies that we aren't comfortable using. We can create our own strategy based on our experiences in trading. It can be a routine, mantra, or anything that helps us succeed in trading. There are technical strategies that we can learn everywhere on the internet but the application will still depend on how we deal with the market. As long as our personal strategy would help us grow and manage the risks and volatility of the market then we can freely apply it.
