Jan 2018 - George Soros: "Bitcoin is a bubble"
Apr 2018 - "George Soros Is Getting into Cryptocurrencies"
Did his daughter also invest in cryptocurrencies just like Jamie Dimon'a daughter? If yes, then you know why :

And everybody, stop shitting the same thing by saying that this is big news and shit. It's not a big news. Honestly, no one gives a fuck. Move on.
482  Economy / Speculation / Re: The importance of staying positive, no matter what (the price is) on: April 14, 2018, 08:37:19 PM
Well thats just stupid. I took out a big loan to buy a bunch of bitcoin in late october just before the price went nuts. It was a fantastic investment. But I didn't take out more than I could afford to pay off. If anyone really did take out loans that were so big that they can't afford to pay the monthly payments without selling their investment thats just stupid no matter the market.
You see, most of the people don't do that[the underlined part]. They borrow more than what they can afford. Usually this is a big no in trading, unless you know what you're doing, like deep shit.
The key is staying positive on the long term outlook. My brother sold half his bitcoin a month or two ago because he said he didn't wanna stress over it. I told him that was very stupid. He only had a bit over 1 bitcoin anyways, so even if he lost all the money its not like he'll miss it in the long run, but if he had stayed positive he might be sitting on well over $100k in a few years. Just gotta keep a positive long term outlook. Sure it sucks getting trades stuck for a few months or watching your portfolio go down for a few months. But if you wait long enough 99% change you'll be making lots of money again in the relatively near future.
Yeah you can't wait long if you have borrowed a loan,I mean think about it. Staying positive is essential but being smart is more essential. The more stupid you act,the more you lose.
483  Economy / Speculation / Re: The importance of staying positive, no matter what (the price is) on: April 14, 2018, 08:32:22 PM
100% agree with this statement. You can't tell someone who put their money into bitcoin at 19,000 to "stay positive." That money might not ever come back, and the loss of 50% of their investment is a big blow to not just their bank account but their motivation towards investing in crypto. It takes a very unique and strong-willed person to keep investing in something that they lost so much money in. People shouldn't stay positive no matter what the price is, they should stay smart. If anyone plays their cards right, they will have the opportunity to make money.
Even if a person bought at 19k or something, they can still profit. They can always prefer to trade/invest in different ICOs/gambling sites and make profits. Just because you bought at 19k and now the price is 8k doesn't mean that you'll forever be in a loss unless the price goes above 19k. God knows, how many days/months that will take. Be smart and know your shit properly.
484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 22 European Nations Form New Blockchain Partnership on: April 13, 2018, 11:29:34 PM
Good news came today from Europe:
The countries, including the U.K., France, Germany, Norway, Spain and the Netherlands, signed a declaration on Tuesday establishing the new group, dubbed the European Blockchain Partnership, according to a release from the European Commission, which led the effort.
Finally, heard something good that is good to the ear.
According to the article, the partnership has already been formed, but this is sadly not a part of mainstream media. People don't care about this, heck people don't care about the thousands and millions of lives that are being lost in countries like Syria. They are focusing on facebook's data theft back in 2015,and they had a meeting with the congress for 5 whole hours. But the US fucking government is not even willing to talk about the Syrian crisis for 5 minutes,so let alone this blockchain partnership.
485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big Companies Could Choose Btg Or Bch Or Bcd For Payment Instead Of Btc? on: April 13, 2018, 11:23:49 PM
BTC price is too high now and people store it for more profit. Do you think big companies could choose another one for payment unit instead of BTC? or they go with the flow and use BTC all life long? what is your thoughts about this
Big companies prefer fiat. Period. Unless they are doing shady shit or their mainstream work is based on cryptocurrency/s or they want to use crypto as a marketing took ,no company would want to use bitcoin for "payment". A company,in legal terms, has to disclose their financials every fiscal year,so to file their reports and do the accounts, crypto would not be accepted as it is not a legal tender, nor is it illegal. Use your brain, dude.
486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They are coming with a new way to attack Crypto currencies! on: April 13, 2018, 09:39:47 PM
These coins will adhere to all AML/KYC regulations and they will have full control over what transactions will be mined. They will be able to "blacklist" and "reverse" transactions and even block certain addresses, because they control the Blockchain.
Doesn't this eliminate the main purpose of blockchain? Having control over a blockchain sounds and is totally ridiculous. It shouldn't be called a blockchain then,it should be called a public database.
I am now seeing a lot of ICOs tricking their investors to buy their shit tokens/coin first and then force the investors to submit KYC documents or their will be gone forever. This is not something that we want but unfortunately nothing can be done about it now. Were people smart enough to identify scammy shits before itself,we wouldn't be here.
487  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is there any chance for Bitcoin this year? on: April 13, 2018, 09:06:09 PM
Of course it does. It started off with segwit adoption by a lot of people and exchanges. The transaction fee became very less. Lightning network released its first lighting mainnet release.
Cointelegraph wrote an article about this as well: https://cointelegraph.com/news/what-does-the-futures-hold-for-bitcoin-in-2018
488  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tim Draper - Bitcoin Price Will Hit 250 000$ In 2022! on: April 13, 2018, 08:57:52 PM
Some of you have heard, others may not for Tim Draper , he is very famous venture capital investor and a great supporter of BTC&blockchain technology. In 2014 he bought around 30 000 BTC on auction, and that year he give statement that 1 BTC will be worth 10 000$ in next three years, which of course came true.

Yesterday he announced new prediction on his blockchain party at Draper University, anticipating 250 000$ per BTC at the year 2022.I remember 2014 and how many people joked on his account, but in the end he laughed at them.I will not say that this time he is right again, but I think he is one of the people whose thoughts we should take very seriously.

More info&video from event : Tim Draper 2018-2022 Price Prediction
You know, even the so great McAfee said that if bitcoin's price doesn't reach 500,000$ by the end of 2020,he would eat his own dick(even though I don't see how that's possible  Lips sealed unless you chop it off). I don't actually want to care about what these investors think. They are rich but sometimes they just cross their own limits for money. This shit is getting old now.
489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fall of Bitcoin (Reasons) on: April 13, 2018, 12:06:06 AM
For the demand, there is still a significant demand for bitcoins out there that you failed to see for yourself. If there are no demand, we would be sitting ourselves at $3000 or even lower, but lo and behold we managed to stay afloat of $6000 and cross $7000.
Demand cannot dissappear overnight but however the demand for bitcoin is currently very less, the price rose today but buying is not happening much(pumps don't count as buying as the same guy purchases the same bitcoin from different addresses). People are stupidly reacting to fake news and bullshit and panic selling. There is sort of artificial demand being created right now so that doesn't actually count as demand.
490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indian RBI issue doesnt effect crypto world on: April 08, 2018, 11:06:20 PM
India is the very low contributor for crypto currency in terms of investment . You can check there is no major revolution happened in India using blockchain technology not even a single reputed crypto exchange. Even investment for crypto currencies is very less. More over apart from ponzy scheme not even a single valid blockchain preoject happened in India. Even market doesn’t effect till now because of Indian fud
This is not true because a lot of people have invested in Bitcoin, so there might be some influence. But that's not the worst part, spreading rumors is what is affecting the crypto world. Take India itself for example, people misunderstood the statement of rights totally and thought that bitcoin has totally been banned whereas the real scenario was that rbi had issued a warning that banks can't deal with crypto users or corporations.
491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is life. on: April 08, 2018, 11:03:12 PM
So you'd chose bitcoin over your wife/women, sex, food or literally anything? I get that you're excited but whatever profit you have earned is by mere luck and that's just a one time thing. Start trading and you'll know the real fear. But anyhow congratulations, but you do need a reality check.
492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to deal with India and countries that ban Crypto currencies on: April 08, 2018, 10:58:09 PM
Mate, bitcoin is apparently not banned in India. I happened to mention this in a previous post today, and I'll leave the link of the article so that you can also read it: https://www.newsbtc.com/2018/04/07/no-india-not-banned-bitcoin-trading-government-confirms/
They have said that banks cannot deal with crypto exchanges/any crypto user and whatever transactions are due, it should be cleared otherwise the non-compliant banks may face some issues.
493  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will never reach $1,000,000 again on: April 08, 2018, 10:54:17 PM
In the style of ohter posters, I want to reserve myself this thread, which im sure will be eventually epic. I believe we'll see the $1,000,000 mark around 2030ish, and after that we'll go back to 6 figures, in which people will start creating threads like this one. Then after a while, we will go for all time high, and this thread will be very relevant, until then..

RESERVED.
Holy Jesus, that's a lot of money. But come to think of it, it's actually something that sounds too very ridiculous. Cause a lot of shit can happen by 2030. You'll see crazier shit than fidget spinners, women's lap pillows. I'm not sure if something so ridiculous would ever be possible but hey you never know.
494  Economy / Economics / Re: its not about how much you invested, its when you should invest? on: April 08, 2018, 10:47:52 PM
kinda strange when investing in a volitile  market. you can spend 10,000 $ into the market in january and come out less. than what a person invested in april with 10,000 $.
Yeah when newbies are new to bitcoin, they don't do due diligence at all, they just buy it. Timing is an important factor but you'll remain there itself if you always wait for the right time because you never know when the right time would come. So what I say is buy whenever you want, if possible avoid buying at a stupidly high price and with whatever you have, make sure you take some smart decisions and increase your holdings by trades.
495  Economy / Economics / Re: Resource based economy? on: April 08, 2018, 10:43:52 PM
Resource based economy with profit removed from the equation.

I'd like to see this happen. Anyone know of anything in the works that might make this possible?
Are you talking about a socialist economy? Where everything is focused on welfare Maximization of the citizens of the economy? Which also goes along side the laissez-faire economy? That sort of most likely never exists because if everything is done as per welfare motive, the economy won't survive. Give it a thought and you'll see.
496  Economy / Speculation / Re: The importance of staying positive, no matter what (the price is) on: April 08, 2018, 10:40:26 PM
Yeah only thing is staying positive won't give them their money back. You see, a lot of people went to different sources and got the money to invest in Bitcoin but now that the markets are in a bull period, they can't keep up with the other end of bargain when they borrowed the money. We are seeing suicides, murders and what not for money. This stupidity is worse than their earlier stupidity of buying bitcoin at a higher price.
497  Economy / Speculation / Re: Institutional Infrastructure on: April 08, 2018, 10:36:48 PM
The mega-rally towards the end of last year was, in part, due to things like CME & CBOE futures and LedgerX options launching. There was a sense that institutional money was about to get in the game and people wanted to front run that money. However, volume stayed relatively flat after those launches and new money didn’t flow in as much as some people expected.

Now, Coinbase is in the process of launching a custody solution and some other groups will be launching custody offerings later this year as well. This narrative that custody is right around the corner could reignite the news cycle around institutional money entering the space. Will institutionalization actually happen now? If people try to front run that money again, will we see a bull run this coming summer as these custody products get set to roll out?
There is a bull run going on already. Institutional money or not, the bullish period is apparently set to continue and this year seems like any record won't be broken.
However, I would like to see the strategies of these institutional buyers in the crypto world. These custody solution seems to be a important thing now, prices may fluctuate based on this easily. Must keep an eye on this.
498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which country you want to rule over crypto industry? on: April 08, 2018, 09:42:11 PM
The G20 or the 20 strongest countries in the world recently had a meeting about cryptocurrency. If ever Bitcoin and altcoins will be legalized worldwide and will be highly accepted, which country would you like to lead it? I mean, the country wherein the main office about cryoto regulations will be built and the major country which will usually hosts events and meetings about cryptocurrency.
There won't be any lead because good luck with all the countries accepting to legalize bitcoin. And leading would totally centralize things and the purpose of bitcoin ends right there itself. It'll exist but for everything that it was created for, will never happen. It'll just become a random currency in the market.
499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain tech is faulty and will collapse! on: April 08, 2018, 09:28:42 PM
Oh I pity you. So far nothing has happened, it gave rise to so many millionaires and billionaires, I don't think we have a problem with bitcoin or blockchain. The problem is people. It has always been people and always will be people. Otherwise there wouldn't have been a need for bitcoin to ever be created in the first place. So worry about you scumbags, don't be stupid and remember that money is not everything
500  Economy / Speculation / Re: I know we all feel sad - let's cry here on: April 08, 2018, 09:08:57 PM
Mate look, these people who'll apparently share their feelings are nothing but made up bullshit. I'm trying to help you avoid nonsense. They will just spam to earn a few bucks.
Also discussing someone's pain on a forum won't help them much, rather they should go for therapy. It sounds ridiculous but if you're really that emotional then you better go.
Anyone who commits suicide is fucking stupid. Cause you only live once. Enjoy whatever you can. Sure people will forgive you after sometime.
Any investor if he gets a loss shouldn't sob about it. He should learn from his mistakes. And people won't listen to you or me. They'd learn the hard way because they are just fucking stubborn. I don't mean to hurt you or something but it's the truth.
I don't see any reason to cry at all. When the price of bitcoin grew I heard a lot of cheers that we will wait until 2020. Many people said that they would save their bitcoins for 10 years or more. Why now cry. Bitcoin is rising in price every year so be patient and wait for the fall. Bitcoin always rewards its loyal users.
Firstly what you have said is not relevant at all to what I was saying. Secondly, if you believe that whatever those people said to be true for even a slightest second, then you're more stupid than they are. People lie all the time. The moment they feel that the prices are going down, they fuck up and sell everything they have.
